Abstract

This research grew from inadequate learning sources availability and unmotivated learning sources for the students so that they get difficulties in understanding the material of Islamic Religious subject and Character. This problem will certainly affect the achievement of the learning process. This research aims to develop a valid learning module based project at Islamic Religious Subject and Character on the material ketika bumi berhenti berputar conducted at six grade students of SDN 22 Baringin. The method used in this research was Research and Development. This study also aims to describe about learning process on Islamic Religious Subject and Character. For collecting the data, the researcher used a Descriptive Analysis approach. Thus, it will give a product on the form of learning module based project in Elementary School. The development used in this research was 4-D model consisted of definition, design, development and dissemination. This research was carried out of its validity. This research produced a learning module based project on Islamic Religious Subject and Character at six grades students of SDN 22 Baringin. The Module validation results have been evaluated by 3 validators whose percentage is 87,78% in average and categorized as highly valid. Material development got 81,90% and was highly valid category, it was 81.48% for the presentation and was highly valid, language aspect got 86,88% and was highly valid, graphic got 100% and highly valid category and it was 88,88% for pictures and was highly valid category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini diawali dengan studi pendahuluan bahwa pembalajaran Akidah Akhlak di MI Thawalib Padang Panjang masih bersifat teacher center, pembelajaran kurang menarik dan keterbatasan bahan ajar dalam pembelajaran sehingga peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi pelajaran Akidah Akhlak pada materi kalimat Tayyibah dan Asmaul Husna. Hal ini akan berpengaruh kepada ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran dengan maksimal serta hasil belajara yang meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis komik pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak materi kalimat Tayyibah dan Asmaul Husna yang valid. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan tahapan model 4-D  yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran Modul Pembelajaran divalidasi oleh 3 orang validator. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan maka dihasilkan modul berbasis komik pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak pada materi kalimat Tayyibah dan Asmaul Husna. Hasil validasi modul pembelajaran berbasis komik yang dinilai oleh 3 (tiga) orang validator, rata-rata hasil validasi secara keseluruhan adalah   adalah 84,2% di kategorikan sangat valid.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of learning supervision and work climate on State High School teachers in Dharmasraya. Research methods are used quantitative research with ex-post facto designs. The population in this study were all state high school civil servant teachers in Dharmasraya numbered 188. While the sampling technique is Probability Sampling (Proportional Stratified Random Sampling) with yamane formula with an error rate of 5% so that it gets a sample of 128.  Research in the field shows that; (1) There is a significant influence on learning supervision on the teacher kiner with a t-count value of 9,110 with a t-table value of 1,979 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005. (2) There is no significant influence between the work climate on teacher performance on the basis  of a t-count value of -0.129 < t-table value 1.97912 with a significance value of 0.533 > 0.005, (3) there is a significant influence on learning supervision and work climate simultaneously on teacher performance by 41.3% with a constant value of 238,194 with a coefficient of X1 of 1,218 and the price of coefficient X2  -0.129 with linear regression equation Y = a + b_1 X_1 + b_2 X_2 where Y = 238,194 + 1.218 〖 X〗_1+ -0.129 X_2. While from the test F simultaneously got a value of acquisition of significance F is 0.000 < 10 alpha (α) 0.05 with a value of F_hitung 44.030 > 〖 F 〗_tabel 3.07. So it can be concluded that learning supervision and work climate become variables that can affect the performance of State High School teachers in Dharmasraya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the situational leadership style of the principal at SMP Negeri 5 Batusangkar. The type of research used in this study is a phenomenological type with a qualitative approach. Data collection in this study used the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Then to analyze the data, the researcher uses the Miles Huberman model technique, which consists of data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, the situational leadership style of the principal at SMP Negeri 5 Batusangkar is carried out by 1) applying the telling model of situational leadership by giving tasks to work partners using one-way communication; 2) applying the situational leadership selling model using two-way communication so that communication can be established better to provide the right direction to work partners. 3) applying the participating model situational leadership in which the orientation of the principal's leadership is not only a task carried out by subordinates but also maintaining good relationships and making decisions together so that they can be accounted for together as well; 4) apply the situational leadership model of delegating to partners who are able and can carry out the assigned tasks.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Perekrutan Pendidik di Pondok Pesantren Darul ‘Ulum Padang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana perekrutan sumber daya manusia khususnya tenaga pendidik di Pondok Pesantren Darul ‘Ulum Padang. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dalam penelitian ini sumber datanya yaitu, data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan data reduction (reduksi data), data display (penyajian data), conclusion drawing/ verification (penarikan kesimpulan). Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa proses perekrutan sumber daya manusia khususnya tenaga pendidik di pondok pesantren Darul ‘Ulum Padang dilakukan berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan 1x dalam setahun. Metode perekrutan untuk menarik calon tenaga pendidiknya menggunakan metode terbuka dan tertutup (eksternal dan internal), medote eksternal/terbuka digunakan untuk merekrut tenaga pendidik matapelajaran umum, sedangkan metode tertutup/internal digunakan untuk merekrut tenaga pendidik mata pelajaran kitab kuning. Sedangkan persyaratannya untuk tenaga pendidik mata pelajaran umum adalah tenaga pendidik yang lulusan dari jurusan yang dibutuhkan, sedangkan untuk tenaga pendidik mata pelajaran kitab kuning persyaratannya adalah seseorang yang telah menamatkan pendidikannya di pondok pesantren dan mampu membaca kitab kuning secara lancar. Tujuan dilakukannya perekrutan adalah untuk ditempatkan dalam mengajar mata pelajaran yang belum ada tenaga pendidiknya.

Abstract

Sekolah Penggerak Program is one of the education recovery steps taken by the government. In the implementation of this program, there are five interventions, namely consultative and asymmetrical assistance, improving school human resources, new paradigm learning, data-based planning and school digitalization. Among the five interventions, new paradigm learning is the main focus of schools. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the Sekolah Penggerak Program at SMAN 1 Tilatang Kamang on new paradigm learning which includes differentiated learning, a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila of the students and the process of grade increment and subject selection in class XI. The type of research conducted is qualitative research with case study method. The place of research at SMAN 1 Tilatang Kamang in May to June 2023 conducted by the researcher as the main instrument of research. The data collected through interview, observation and documentation study techniques. The collected data analyzed with the stages of reduction, representation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was tested using data source triangulation techniques. The results revealed that the school implements Sekolah Penggerak program by focusing on new paradigm learning, namely the implementation of differentiated learning, the project of strengthening sutedents’ profile of Pancasila and conducting the grade increment process as well as the selection of subjects that apply the principles of child-centered learning. Differentiated learning is implemented with three strategies: content differentiation, process differentiation and product differentiation. The determination of differentiated learning strategies is based on data mapping children's learning readiness obtained from diagnostic assessments. The Strengthening Profile of Pancasila Project of Students is implemented with a one-day project scheduling system every week. The process of implementation the project from preparation to assessment is designed based on the themes and profile dimensions set by the facilitation team. The grade increment system from grade X in phase E to grade XI in phase F is based on the achievement of learning objectives and the completion of the project theme in that grade. The selection of elective subjects in grade XI is based on the child's talents, interests, and readiness then the selection process is carried out freely and refers to the results of the child's diagnostic test. Children are given the opportunity to change their elective subjects in the first semester of grade XI by considering the child's learning progress and psychological condition.

Abstract

Gaya komunikasi kepala sekolah dapat menyebabkan misinterpretasi dan ketidakjelasan dalam penyampaian pesan kepada guru, sehingga pesan yang disampaikan tidak mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan dan memiliki dampak terhadap menurunnya motivasi kerja para guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan sepuluh orang guru SMP Negeri 2 Sijunjung. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah lembar wawancara, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi pola komunikasi kepala sekolah yang berdampak pada motivasi kerja guru. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah untuk memotivasi guru mencakup kemampuan menyampaikan pesan dengan jelas, gaya kepemimpinan yang inklusif dan berfokus pada pembangunan komunitas, peran kepala sekolah sebagai fasilitator dalam proses pengambilan keputusan, komunikasi rutin, dukungan dalam mengatasi masalah yang dihadapi guru, dan penerapan praktik komunikasi efektif seperti keterbukaan, pendekatan empati, membangun hubungan interpersonal, serta memberikan umpan balik konstruktif kepada guru. Kesimpulan nya, peran komunikasi kepala sekolah sangat penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru sehingga dapat menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang positif dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Diharapkan Kepala sekolah harus berusaha untuk mengenal setiap guru secara individu, memahami preferensi, kekuatan, dan tantangan mereka.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of ethical leadership on teacher performance at MAN 2 Sijunjung. Leadership ethics includes the application of the principles of honesty, justice, responsibility, and transparency in a leader's actions. In the educational context, leadership can create a positive and supportive work environment, which ultimately influences improving teacher performance. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and madrasa leaders, direct observation in the work environment, and analysis of internal organizational documents. Research results show that teachers who work under ethical leaders report higher levels of motivation, a greater sense of job satisfaction, and better performance. Teachers feel more valued and supported, which encourages them to work harder and achieve better results. Apart from that, ethical leadership also contributes to the formation of a strong organizational culture, which encourages cooperation, openness, and innovation. The conclusion of this research is that ethical leadership has a significant influence on teacher performance at MAN 2 Sijunjung. Therefore, it is important for educational institutions to strengthen ethical leadership as part of a strategy to improve the quality of education

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the environmental care character formation program at SMPN 13 Sijunjung, describe effective strategies, and identify efforts to reduce plastic waste in schools. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the study involved the principal, vice principal, teachers, students, and parents. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document reviews, analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results show that environmental care characters have been formed through daily habits, supported by strategic school management including teacher training, socialization campaigns, curriculum integration, recycling facilities, collaboration with related parties, and periodic evaluations. This article is expected to increase environmental awareness and actions among junior high school students

Abstract

Currently in Indonesia, a substantial number of young children lack proficiency in and awareness of English vocabulary, a crucial international language. This study aims to explore the potential of Duolingo application usage in improving English vocabulary among young children, specifically from the perspective of teachers. Employing a quantitative descriptive research method, data were gathered through questionnaire surveys. The results indicate that the utilization of the Duolingo application by teachers contributes positively to the learning environment, resulting in noticeable improvements in English vocabulary among early childhood learners. The children demonstrated enhanced vocabulary skills after using the application over a specific duration. However, the study also highlights that the Duolingo application should not be relied upon as the sole source for English language learning in early childhood education. Its usage needs to be integrated into structured and teacher-directed learning approaches. Effective management of the application is crucial to maximize its benefits for young learners. This research serves as a benchmark for the development of similar applications aiming to enhance English vocabulary for early childhood education, emphasizing the importance of combining digital tools with structured pedagogical methods.
