Abstract

This research aims to examine the implementation of the philosophy of tahfiz quarantine and boarding school management in increasing enrollment interest at Insan Cendekia Paser Islamic High School. The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of the philosophy of tahfiz quarantine and boarding school management at Insan Cendekia Paser Islamic High School has had a positive impact on increasing enrollment interest, as evidenced by the growing number of applicants each year. Student registration for the first time in 2015 was 150 students, until 2023 there will be 371 students interested in registering. This research took data from the deputy head of the school for public relations and student affairs, parents and students when re-registering in 2023. The research shows that among parents and students interested in entering MAN Insan Scholar Paser is the existence of a dormitory system and tahfiz activities as part of the superior program MAN Paser Scholar Person. The philosophy emphasizes the importance of character development, morality, and knowledge. Tahfiz quarantine and boarding school also provide a unique and engaging experience for students, making them more interested in studying at Insan Cendekia Paser Islamic High School. Research topics include parents of students, incoming students, students who are undergoing or who have been quarantined in Tahfiz, as well as students who live in the MAN Insan Scholar Paser Dormitory. This diversity of research topics provides a more comprehensive picture of the impact of implementing management principles. Information collection was carried out through interviews, observation and document analysis. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of tahfiz quarantine and boarding school management philosophy can be considered a contributing factor in enhancing enrollment interest at MAN Insan Cendekia Paser.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in enhancing the performance of educators and educational staff at MTsN 1 Paser. The research object consists of planning, determination, inventory, maintenance, and disposal. This is a qualitative descriptive study, with four teachers as the research subjects. Data was collected through three methods: interviews, observations, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the planning of facilities and infrastructure in the learning process involves needs analysis (school self-evaluation), financing, and priority analysis. The provision of facilities and infrastructure in the learning process is sourced from repairs, government funds, community contributions, borrowed items, and considerations of quality and functionality in the learning process. Additionally, the inventory of facilities and infrastructure is conducted during activities. The results of the study demonstrate that the implementation of the philosophy of facilities and infrastructure management at MTsN 1 Paser has a positive impact on the performance of educators and educational staff. Recommendations include optimizing planning, inventorying, and repairing damaged equipment.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the "everyone is a teacher here" instructional model on the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Natural Sciences at MI Darus Sakinah Tenggarong Seberang. The research method employs a quantitative experimental approach with a Pre-test Post-test Non Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample consists of 56 students, with class IV A as the experimental group and class IV B as the control group. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and tests, and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, N-Gain tests, and Independent Sample T-tests. The results of the study show a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Natural Sciences who participated in this instructional model, with a mean posttest score of 85.00. The conclusion drawn from the Independent Sample T-test confirms that the "everyone is a teacher here" instructional model is significantly effective in improving the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students in Natural Sciences at MI Darus Sakinah Tenggarong Seberang.

Abstract

The background to the problem in this research is that the learning process often uses conventional models. The use of conventional models to improve students' critical thinking skills tends to be difficult, because these models are more teacher-centered, especially in the science learning process, teachers have not involved students directly so that students have not been trained in solving various existing problems and this causes students' critical thinking abilities to be less developed. . This research is quantitative research, using experimental methods with a quasi-experimental design type. The research design used is pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. The results obtained are by looking at the average results of the pretest and posttest with the scores obtained in the experimental class, namely class V A, with an average pretest score of 42.13 and an average posttest score of 75.32. And the results of the average N-Gain score are 0.5744 in the medium category, which means that students' critical thinking abilities are further improved by using the problem based learning model assisted by audio-visual media. And the results of the t test after being given treatment obtained a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.003 < sig value 0.05, so the problem based learning model assisted by audio visual media is effective on the science critical thinking abilities of class V students at MIN 2 Samarinda.

Abstract

The jigsaw learning model is useful for helping students develop cooperation skills, critical thinking and the ability to help friends. This learning will create students to participate and be active so that students will think together, discuss together, conduct investigations together and act in the same direction. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the jigsaw learning model in managing the active participation of class IV students at MI Ar Raudhah Samarinda. This type of research is quantitative with experimental research methods and quasi-experimental designs. The population in this study were class IV students at MI Ar Raudhah Samarinda for the 2021/2022 academic year. The sampling technique was saturated, with a sample of 46 students. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and questionnaires. Data rejuvenation test techniques are Normality Test, Homogeneity Test and Hypothesis Test. Based on the research results, it shows that the effective application of the jigsaw model in science learning material on animal breeding can manage the active participation of class IV students at MI Ar-Raudhah Samarinda by obtaining a Sig (2-tailed) value, namely 0.026 < 0.05 and a tcount > ttable, namely 2.329 > 1.681 which makes the Ha hypothesis accepted

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) is an innovative learning modeI that provides active Iearning condotions to student through presenting ProbIems to be solved. PBL is a effective modeI for improving students’ higher thinking SkiIIs (HOTS), Higher Order Thinking SkiIIs (HOTS) is a process of higher order thinking SkiIIs that students need to master in the process of Iearning to solve ProbIems. This study aims to determine the magnitude of the influence of the PBL modeI on HOTS. This research is an ex post facto quantitative study, and the population of this study was 94 students of class XI. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires, observation, documentation and interview. Dara were analyzed using the Correlations Product Moment formuIa and t-test using IBM SPSS 25. The result related to the influence of ProbIem based Iearning modeIs on higher order thinking SkiIIs by testing the product moment correlation test obtained an rcount value of 0,733 > rtabIe 0,20 indicating a strong relationship level. And the results of test-t stated that there was a significant effect because 0,000<0,05 and the t count 10,332> t tabIe 1, 986 which means Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The coefficient of determination test shows that the significant influence of variable X on variable Y is 73,3%, so it can be concluded that the better the application of the PBL modeI. used, it will increase students' higher order thinking SkiIIs/HOTS.

Abstract

This research investigates the role of organizational culture in the context of educational institutions through a literature study approach. Through a thorough analysis of the relevant literature, we outline the core elements of organizational culture, organizational functions, goals, and benefits of organizations in an educational context. We explore how organizational culture shapes the identity and unique characteristics of educational institutions, influencing interactions between staff members, students, and other stakeholders. In addition, we discuss the implications of organizational culture on the effectiveness of educational institutions, including performance improvement, innovation, and adaptation to environmental change. Our analysis also highlights the impact of organizational culture on students' learning experiences, social interactions and the quality of educational services. The results of this study underscore the importance of a deep understanding of organizational culture in shaping productive and inclusive learning environments in educational institutions and provide directions for further educational management research and practice.

Abstract

This school has started implementing a holistic integrative early childhood development program (PAUD HI) ranging from education, health, nutrition and care, care, protection and welfare services. The aim of the research was to find out the implementation of holistic integrative early childhood development and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in the Silmi Samarinda Islamic KB and Kindergarten. This type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data validity technique used is triangulation. The process of data analysis is data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are that the Silmi Samarinda Islamic KB and Kindergarten have carried out five services namely education, health, nutrition and care, parenting, protection and welfare services properly. This can be seen from the fulfillment of the components and indicators of the success of PAUD HI, although some indicators are not optimal in care and protection services. The supporting factors are collaboration with the education office, health centers and parents, IGTKI, adequate infrastructure and using appropriate learning approaches and methods, careful preparation, agreement with children, understanding, caring, parenting, communication with parents who well, there are teacher pickets, operational funding assistance and accepting children with special needs. The inhibiting factors are the lack of preparation, participation and busyness of parents, unfavorable weather, inadequate outdoor games and lack of cooperation with the police and the population and civil registration services.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh peran guru kelas yang sangat penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa madrasah ibtidaiyah karena guru kelas memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mengajarkan nilai-nilai moral dan etika, membimbing siswa dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi sosial, serta membantu mereka mengembangkan keterampilan sosial dan emosional yang penting untuk sukses dalam kehidupan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran guru kelas dalam membentuk karakter siswa, untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat mendukung dan menghambat guru kelas dalam proses pembentukan karakter siswa, dan untuk mengetahui langkah yang dapat dilakukan guru kelas untuk mengatasi hambatan yang terjadi dalam proses pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru, siswa dan kepala sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah dikumpulkan melalui tiga teknik tersebut kemudian diperiksa keabsahan datanya dengan melakukan cek kredibilitas melalui triangulasi teknik. Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan keabsahan data, maka data dianalisis dengan cara kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru kelas dalam membentuk karakter siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sullamul Hidayah Antasari Samarinda, meliputi beberapa kegiatan seperti: membina karakter budi pekerti siswa, membina kepribadian siswa dan membina kedisiplinan siswa. Dengan nilai pendidikan karakter yang dibentuk yaitu nilai religius, nilai disiplin dan nilai bertanggung jawab. Adapun yang menjadi faktor pendukung adalah lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung dan kesadaran dalam diri siswa itu sendiri. Adapun faktor penghambatnya adalah kurangnya dukungan orang tua di luar sekolah, lingkungan tempat tinggal atau tempat bermain siswa dan kurangnya kesadaran siswa terhadap apa yang mereka lakukan. Maka, langkah yang bisa dilakukan untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut adalah dengan mengkomunikasikan mengenai pentingnya dukungan orang tua dalam proses pembentukan karakter dan bagi siswa dengan diberikan lembar yang berisi kolom tentang kebaikan yang telah mereka lakukan sebagai pengingat diri mereka

Abstract

Penggunaan metode nasoro memungkinkan siswa mempelajari nahwu. Di samping pelajaran nahwu diperoleh dari kitab yang lain seperti nahwul wadih dan matan al-jurumiyah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) Mengetahui peran metode nasoro dalam meningkatkan kemahiran ilmu nahwu kelas VII Ponpes Salsabila (2) Mengetahui efektivitas metode yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemahiran ilmu nahwu kelas VII Ponpes Salsabila. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Dan merupakan penelitian Pre Eksperimen One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, pretest dan posttest, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sample yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas VII Ponpes Salsabila yang berjumlah 27 siswa. Untuk mengetahui efektitas metode nasoro dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara siswa peneliti menggunakan uji t-hitung. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data T-test dengan software SPSS 15.0, terlihat bahwa sig = 0,00. Nilai sig <0,05, maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Jadi, metode nasoro efektif dalam meningkatkan kemahiran ilmu nahwu siswa.
