Abstract

The research is about basic skills of teaching of Islamic Elementary School Teacher Education (PGMI) Department of Samarinda. The research objective is to describe the ability of basic skills of teaching of PGMI students who have taught at elementary school and Islamic Elementary School of Samarinda in academic year 2017-2018. The skills include the skill of opening and closing the lesson, explaining, giving affirmation, having variation, asking and organizing the class. The research method is a descriptive method. The data collection technique is using the methods of observation, interview, and documentation. Then, the data is analyzed descriptively through percentage and the ideal average of each component of the basic skills of teaching. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the ability of basic skills of teaching are on a good criteria, they are: the skill of opening and closing the lesson (the average score is 26,25 or 72,91%), affirmation skill (the average score is 19,52 or 69,91%), asking skill (the average score is 17,75 or 73,95%), and the skill of organizing the class (the average score is 26,50 or 73,61%), and there are two skills in the category of enough, they are explaining skill (the average score is 17,37 or 62,03%) and having variation skill (the average score is 17,00 or 60,70%).  Next is needed a more comprehensive study related to the students’ skill at the department of PGMI, so that the information and the findings will be a consideration in the efforts of increasing the students competency of PGMI department of IAIN Samarinda.

Abstract

The research goal is to find out how the stakeholders evaluation toward the implementation of the PKL (Field Work Practice) of MPI students of STAIN Samarinda. The research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data sources are stakeholders evaluation that consist of headmaster, chief of Administration (TU) and tutor. Data is obtained by document and interview. The data collection technique that is used is analysis model of Miles & Huberman that is done by four activities, namely: data collecting, data reduction, data presentation, and summary drawing or verification. The research result shows that the stakeholders evaluation towards the PKL implementation of MPI students of STAIN Samarinda includes three evaluation aspects, namely evaluation in education and teaching aspect, school administration aspect, also public service aspect. Stakeholders evaluation towards thePKL of  MPI students of STAIN Samarinda for the aspects of education and teaching also school administration are dominant with a good qualification, means that has mastered or there is a suitability between planning with teaching and administrating implementation. While the public service can be concluded that the implementation of MPI students PKL of STAIN Samarinda is dominant to get the stakeholders evaluation with an excellent qualification, means that in the social relation of society and the communication is already excellent with the school people.

Abstract

The function of Ikatan Guru Raudhatul Athfal, or what so-called by IGRA is ideally as a forum for professional development of educators and educational members of Early Childhood Education or ECE institutions. This research is aimed to figure out challenges faced by IGRA in East Kalimantan in relation to principles of organizational management i.e, planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, or what so-called by POAC. In-dept interview was done to the head and members of IGRA in East Kalimantan in four different cities i.e, Samarinda, Balikpapan, Tenggarong, and Berau. Findings of this research indicate that principles of organizational management have not effectively been employed due to very crucial challenges, including leadership, organizational funding, IGRA members competency, government support, and some other critical barriers that trigger insufficient management implementation of IGRA in East Kalimantan. Research implications and suggestions are discussed further in this research.

Abstract

Benambahnya jumlah penduduk dari rabun ke tahun mengakibatkanpembangunan perumahan yang terus menerus. Hal iru dilakukanuntuk memenuhi kebutuhan manusia yang berupa perumahan karenakualitas lingkungan ridak baik. Hal iru disebabkan karena perencanaandan pembangunan perumahan ridak berdasarkan konsep perumahanyang berwawasan lingkungan. Oleh karena iru, membangunperumahan diburuhkan strategi. Strategi tersebut adalah Melakukanproses desain dan studi AiVIDAL, melakukan pemilihan lokasi danpembebasan tanah, melakukan perencanaan fasilitas umurn danfasilitas rekreasi. Strategi ini sebaiknya digunakan oleh pemerintahkota dan pengusaha perumahan dalam membangun perumahan.Kata Kunci: perumahan, berwawasan linglrungan.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah Proses pembelajaran merupakan hal pokok dalam pendidikan yang akan dijadikan salah satu penentu dalam peningkatan mutu sekolah, maka akan dibutuhkan kinerja yang efektif dari guru, kinerja guru yang terjadi dilapangan sesuai dengan keahlian dan latar belakang pendiidkan masing-masing guru sehingga sekolah dapat berkembang yang awalnya hanya memiliki satu jurusan saja yaitu manajemen akuntansi menjadi dua jurusan yaitu bertambah jurusan TKJ, serta mendapat akreditasi B. Namun kurangnya kedisiplinan waktu dari beberapa guru menyebabkan kelas menjadi kosong dan gaduh. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran kepemimpinan kepala seklah dalam peningkatan kinerja guru serta mengetahui faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, pendekatan penelitian ini adalah fenomenologi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data skunder, data primer adalah kepala sekolah, waka kesiswaan dan beberapa guru. dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan mengikuti model analisis miles and huberman yaitu yang dilakukan secara terus menerus sampai tuntas, sehingga datanya jenuh. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam peningkatan kinerja guru di SMK Miftahul Ulum penuh rasa tanggung jawab, dengan menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis, yang dapat menciptakan suasana kerja yang nyaman sehingga guru dapat menjalankan tugasnya sesuai dengan bidang pekerjaannya masing-masing. Adapun faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalm peningkatan kinerja guru di SMK Miftahul ulum Yaitu: faktor pendukung: semangat guru, motivasi dari kepala sekolah, sedangkan faktor penghambat adalah Manajemen waktu, kurangnya kedisiplinan guru, terbatasnya SDM.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 berdampak pada multisektor, salah satunya adalah sektor pendidikan, yang mengubah sistem pembelajaran menjadi pembelajaran dari rumah. Peran guru harus digantikan dengan peran dari orang tua selama pembelajaran daring sehingga membutuhkan kerja sama yang baik diantara keduanya, untuk terus mendampingi anak disemua pembelajaran terutama pada mata pelajaran matematika yang bersifat abstrak membutuhkan arahan guru dan orang tua dalam proses pendampingan belajar daring pada anak. Maka peneliti ingin mengetahui peran serta kesulitan orang tua dalam pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika di MI Al-Muna Samarinda. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MI Al-Muna Samarinda dengan menggunakan pendekatan Kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui 1.Wawancara mendalam, 2. Observasi, dan 3. Dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pemeriksaan data menggunakan Triangulasi. Dari analisis data diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa peran orangtua dalam pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran matematika sebagai berikut : 1. Memberikan Perhatian, 2. Mendidik, 3. Sebagai Fasilitator, 4. Memberi Motivasi. Adapun kesulitan orang tua dalam mendampingi anak belajar matematika yaitu : 1. Orang tua masih kurang memahami materi matematika yang guru berikan, 2. Orang tua mengeluhkan tugas yang terlalu banyak 3. Adapun orang tua yang masih tidak mengerti akan teknologi. Kata kunci : Daring, Matematika

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah diterapkannya permendikbut No 719 pelaksanaan kurikulum pada satuan pendidikan dalam kondisi khusus. Penerapan kurikulum 2013 di masa pandemi ini merupakan hal baru bagi dunia pendidikan. Pelaksanan kurikulum tersebut menimbulkan kesulitan di kalangan pendidik dalam penerapannya. Dimana dalam sistem pebelajarannya di lakukan secara dalam jaringan (daring) dengan menggunakan teknologi seperti handphone dan laptop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi kurikulum 2013 di masa pandemi di MI Al-Mujahidin Samainda serta apakah hambatan implementasi kurikulum 2013 di MI Al-Mujahidin Samarinda di masa pandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif jenis, lapangan dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa : (1). Dalam proses pembelajaran di MI Al-Mujahidin Samarinda sudah menggunakan kurikulum 2013 dalam kondisi khusus. Akan tetapi dalam proses pembelajaran menggunakan sistem daring terlaksana dengan cukup baik. Meskipun belum seperti yang diinginkan dalam penilaian akhir pada siswa hal tersebut dikarenakan masih terbatasnya pengetahuan pada teknologi. (2). Hambatan yang terjadi banyaknya siswa dalam menggikuti pembelajaran selama daring terkendala tidak adanya handphone pribadi harus berbagi dengan orang tua yang bekerja. Pengajar harus bekerja dua kali dikarenakan ketika pembelajaran siswa di tes langsung disekolah banyak siswa yang tidak bisa menjawab sehingga pengajar harus dengan sabar menjelaskan kembali materi pembelajaran.
