Khadimul Mujtama’: Journal of Community Service focuses on publishing the results of community service activities that are grounded in Qur’anic and Hadith studies. The journal emphasizes community engagement initiatives that are derived from and developed through the values, principles, and teachings of the Qur’an and the Prophetic Sunnah in addressing societal needs and challenges. The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, activities related to Qur’anic and Tafsir studies, Hadith studies, and broader Islamic studies that intersect with community needs. It also covers interdisciplinary approaches that integrate education, economics, social sciences, health, environment, and technology in the context of Islamic community service. Submitted articles must demonstrate a clear and explicit connection between the community service activities and Qur’anic and/or Hadith studies as their conceptual and methodological foundation.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted in Marga Mulya Village with a focus on assisting nagham Qur’an learning as an effort to improve the quality of Qur’anic recitation and spiritual appreciation within the community. The program was motivated by the limited ability of community members to recite the Qur’an with well-structured melodies, despite their basic reading competence. In addition, low self-confidence and the lack of systematic guidance have become challenges in strengthening the art of Qur’anic recitation at the community level. This community service aimed to enhance the quality of Qur’anic recitation through the reinforcement of tajwid and nagham Qur’an, while fostering awareness that the beauty of recitation is an integral part of worship. A participatory approach was employed, involving initial observation, gradual recitation assistance, and collective reflection with community members. The results indicate improvements in participants’ ability to recite the Qur’an with more organized melodies, increased self-confidence in recitation, and the development of a supportive and participatory learning environment. Furthermore, the activity strengthened social interaction and opened opportunities for the sustainable continuation of nagham Qur’an learning within the community. Overall, this community service demonstrates that contextual and empathetic nagham Qur’an assistance is effective in strengthening the religious quality of community life.

Abstract

Niat memiliki posisi fundamental dalam ajaran Islam sebagai penentu sah atau tidaknya amal ibadah dan sebagai pembedaan antara perbuatan bernilai ibadah dan sekadar aktivitas duniawi. Namun, dalam praktik kehidupan sehari-hari, masyarakat sering kali melupakan pentingnya niat, sehingga banyak amal tidak disertai kesadaran spiritual. Artikel ini membahas upaya edukasi dan implementasi hadis tentang niat, khususnya hadis pertama dalam Arba’in Nawawi, kepada masyarakat Desa Kayu Agung, Kecamatan Sepatan, Kabupaten Tangerang. Kegiatan dilakukan dalam kerangka pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam kajian dan praktik. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, serta studi literatur yang relevan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman dan pengamalan hadis tentang niat mampu meningkatkan kesadaran spiritual masyarakat, memotivasi mereka untuk lebih ikhlas dalam aktivitas sosial maupun ibadah, serta memperkuat nilai kebersamaan dalam kehidupan desa. Artikel ini menegaskan bahwa internalisasi hadis tentang niat merupakan strategi penting dalam penguatan pendidikan Islam nonformal di tingkat masyarakat.

Abstract

Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi TPQ Al-Ikhlas dan TPQ Nurul Ahmad Desa Gunung Sari adalah lemahnya kualitas bacaan Al-Qur’an santri, khususnya dalam aspek makhraj, tajwid, dan kelancaran membaca. Hal ini terjadi karena keterbatasan guru dalam menguasai metode tahsin secara komprehensif dan kurangnya pendampingan sistematis dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan meningkatkan kualitas qiroatul Qur’an santri melalui pendampingan tahsin. Metode yang digunakan meliputi talaqqi, musyafahah, dan pendekatan partisipatif dalam halaqah Al-Qur’an. Evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan membaca santri, baik dalam aspek tajwid maupun kelancaran bacaan. Selain itu, guru TPQ juga memperoleh pemahaman baru dalam mengajarkan metode tahsin dengan lebih sistematis dan aplikatif. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi terhadap penguatan kualitas pendidikan Al-Qur’an di tingkat masyarakat serta memberikan model pemberdayaan berbasis majelis ta’lim yang dapat direplikasi di tempat lain

Abstract

This community service program was implemented in Gunung Sari Village, Mauk District, Tangerang Regency, with a focus on developing a community-based Qur’an memorization (tahfidz) program. The program was motivated by limited Qur’anic reading accuracy among children, inadequate learning facilities, and the absence of an effective and educational evaluation model for memorization. The objective of this community service was to improve the quality of Qur’an memorization learning through tahsin and tahfidz mentoring, strengthening learning facilities through the waqf of Qur’an manuscripts, and organizing Musabaqah Hifdzil Qur’an as a means of evaluation and motivation. The implementation employed a participatory approach by involving Qur’an teachers, mosque administrators, parents, and children as the main subjects of the activities. The results indicate an improvement in the quality of Qur’anic recitation and memorization, increased learning motivation among participants, and stronger community awareness and involvement in supporting the tahfidz program. The waqf of Qur’an manuscripts contributed to a more conducive and consistent learning environment, while Musabaqah Hifdzil Qur’an functioned as an educational evaluation and strengthened social participation. This program demonstrates that the development of village-level tahfidz programs requires a collaborative and sustainable approach.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan sekaligus mengimplementasikan metode Hamidiyah dalam pembelajaran menulis huruf hijaiyah di Majlis Nurul Hidayah, Desa Marga Mulya, Tangerang. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat mitra adalah masih rendahnya keterampilan menulis huruf hijaiyah, terutama di kalangan anak-anak dan remaja, serta kurangnya media pembelajaran yang inovatif untuk meningkatkan literasi agama sekaligus melestarikan seni Islam. Program ini dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan partisipatif dengan tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, survei, serta analisis dokumen. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode Hamidiyah mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis huruf hijaiyah, menumbuhkan minat belajar santri, dan memperkuat peran Majlis Nurul Hidayah sebagai pusat pendidikan Islam berbasis masyarakat. Selain itu, metode ini juga memberikan kontribusi dalam pelestarian seni kaligrafi khot Naskh sebagai salah satu warisan budaya Islam. Dengan demikian, metode Hamidiyah dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran yang inovatif, relevan, dan inklusif bagi lembaga pendidikan Islam nonformal.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan makna QS. Adz-Dzariyat: 56 dalam kehidupan masyarakat Desa Kedung Dalem, Kecamatan Mauk, Kabupaten Tangerang, khususnya dalam kegiatan majelis ta’lim ibu-ibu. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya pemahaman bahwa ibadah tidak hanya terbatas pada aspek ritual, tetapi juga mencakup aktivitas sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode pendampingan, ceramah, diskusi kelompok, praktik ibadah, serta evaluasi partisipatif. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang makna ibadah secara holistik, penerapan nilai QS. Adz-Dzariyat: 56 dalam aktivitas keluarga dan sosial, serta penguatan peran ibu sebagai pendidik agama dalam rumah tangga. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mempererat silaturahmi antar anggota masyarakat dan membangun kesadaran kolektif bahwa aktivitas keseharian dapat bernilai ibadah jika diniatkan dengan ikhlas. Dengan demikian, majelis ta’lim di Desa Kedung Dalem dapat menjadi model pengembangan spiritual masyarakat berbasis pengabdian kepada Allah.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented in Gunung Sari Village, Tangerang Regency, with a focus on strengthening community Islamic understanding through an Ushuluddin-based approach. The program was motivated by limited public understanding of Islamic teachings in a comprehensive manner, particularly in relation to Islamic creed and the application of Islamic values in social life. The objective of this community service was to enhance religious literacy and Islamic understanding through participatory and contextual Islamic mentoring and dialogue. The implementation employed a participatory approach by involving religious leaders, mosque administrators, and community members as the main subjects of the activities. The activities included thematic Islamic discussions, mentoring on Islamic creed, and strengthening moderate and inclusive Islamic values. The results indicate an improvement in community Islamic understanding, the growth of critical awareness in responding to religious information, and increased community participation in religious activities. This program demonstrates that an Ushuluddin-based approach plays a strategic role in building balanced and contextual Islamic understanding at the village level.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out at the Ummahat Class of Rumah Qur’an Tanah Merah as an effort to promote religious empowerment among housewives through assisted Qur’anic learning. The program was motivated by the limited Qur’an reading ability of adult learners, particularly in the articulation of Arabic letters, the application of tajwid rules, and low self-confidence when reciting the Qur’an in public. The aim of this community service was to improve participants’ Qur’anic reading quality while strengthening the role of Rumah Qur’an as a community-based center for religious development. A participatory approach was employed, consisting of preliminary observation, learning assistance, and reflective evaluation. The assistance integrated the Tilawati method for classical learning to enhance reading fluency and the Talaqqi method for individual guidance through direct correction. The results indicate a gradual improvement in participants’ Qur’anic reading accuracy, increased self-confidence, and the creation of a more supportive and sustainable learning environment. Overall, this community service demonstrates that appropriate and empathetic Qur’anic learning assistance can effectively enhance the religious quality of adult learners.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted at Mushalla Uswatun Hasanah, Kayu Bongkok Village, Sepatan Subdistrict, Tangerang Regency, focusing on mentoring the recitation of Ratib al-Haddad integrated with religious discussions on supplication (du‘a) and prayer (salat). The main issue faced by the community was the limited understanding of the meaning and content of Ratib al-Haddad, as well as the lack of integration between collective dhikr practices and reflective understanding of prayer and supplication in daily religious life. This program aimed to strengthen the community’s religious understanding, improve the quality of worship practices, and enhance the role of the mushalla as a center for community-based religious development and empowerment. The activity employed a participatory approach, including preliminary observation, collective recitation of Ratib al-Haddad, short religious lectures, interactive discussions, and qualitative evaluation. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of dhikr, supplication, and prayer, increased enthusiasm and participation among congregants, and strengthened social cohesion, particularly through the active role of women as key drivers of religious activities. Furthermore, the program encouraged the sustainability of religious practices managed independently by the congregation and mushalla administrators. Overall, this community service demonstrates that mentoring religious traditions rooted in local practice can serve as an effective instrument for spiritual and social empowerment within the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi metode Kaidah Daqu dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an para santri di Pondok Pesantren Ashabus Syuffah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi santri, ustadz/ustadzah, dan pengelola pondok pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kaidah Daqu yang mencakup metode pembelajaran berbasis talaqqi, nadzhom, serta pembiasaan membaca Al-Qur'an secara intensif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca Al-Qur'an santri. Faktor-faktor pendukung keberhasilan implementasi kaidah Daqu meliputi dukungan penuh dari pengasuh pesantren, serta komitmen santri dalam belajar. Adapun tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi perbedaan latar belakang kemampuan santri, kurangnya media pembelajaran,dan keterbatasan waktu belajar. Akan tetapi seiring dengan berjalannya waktu kekurangan yang ada akan tertutupi dengan semangat dari para pengajar dan para santri dalam proses pembelajaran.Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran Al-Qur'an di pondok pesantren untuk membentuk generasi yang unggul dalam pemahaman dan pengamalan Al-Qur'an.
