Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan is concern in publishing the original research articles, review articles from the contributors and the current issues related to multidisipline of education. Edumaspul: Jurnal Pendidikan focuses on the following topics: Curriculum development, teacher education and professional development, teacher training, cross-cultural studies, learning, evaluation, English language teaching, counseling, management, quality of education, and the use of communication and information technology, at various levels of education and how to deliver learning. It provides an academic platform for teachers, lecturers, and researchers to contribute innovative work in the field. Abstract

Desa Maraje memiliki beragam agama yang dianut oleh masing-masing masyarakat dengan Islam sebagai mayoritas agama yang dipeluk oleh masyarakat dan disusul oleh Kristen sebagai minoritas. masyarakat desa Mareje sejak dahulu hidup aman tentram dan damai tanpa adanya konflik yang berlatar belakang karena agama. Bagaimana tokoh agama di desa Mareje menggunakan pola komunikasi dalam misinya masing-masing. Penellitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seperti apa pola komunikasi antarumat beragama dalam membangun toleransi yang baik di desa Mareje Nusa Tenggara Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah analisis data deskriptif kualitatif. Teori yang digunakan ialah teori komunikasi interpersonal, teori komunikasi kelompok, serta toleransi dalam perspektif Al-Quran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, ditemukan bentuk-bentuk toleransi antara lain menghargai dan menghormati agama yang dianut oleh orang lain, tidak mengganggu ibadah dan jalannya kegiatan keagamaan orang lain, menerima perbedaan orang lain, berbuat baik dan menjaga silahturahmi dengan tetangga yang berbeda agama dan menghargai dan menghormati perayaan hari besar keagamaan orang lain. Sehingga membentuk ikatan-ikatan sosial yang tidak individualis dan menjadi satu kesatuan yang utuh dibawah peran ketiga tokoh Agama Islam, Kristen, Hindu serta tokoh masyarakat yang ada di desa Mareje tersebut.

Abstract

Students who are adjusting themselves have obstacles or barriers faced by individuals characterized by an attitude of not respecting teachers and friends, acting as they please, not doing assignments, and committing violations in the school environment. One effort that can be made to improve the ability to adjust can be done with group guidance using problem solving techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of group guidance services using problem solving techniques to improve adjustment in high school students in grade X. This type of research is an experiment with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research design. The population of this study was 213 students in grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Jalaksana, sampling was carried out using the Random Sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 16 students consisting of 8 students in the control group and 8 students in the experimental group. The research instrument was in the form of a scale of adjustment given during the pretest and posttest. The analysis used the two-sample t-test formula. The data was first tested for analysis prerequisites, namely normality and homogeneity tests. The results of the hypothesis using the independent t-test showed sig. (2-tailed) of 0.002 < 0.05, so the research results show that there is a difference in the effectiveness of using group guidance services using problem solving techniques and group guidance services using discussion techniques on students' self-adjustment.

Abstract

Islam Wasathiyah, a concept that emphasizes moderation and balance in the understanding and practice of Islam, has become an increasingly important religious discourse in the context of contemporary global geopolitics. This paper aims to explore the central role of al-Azhar University, Egypt's leading Islamic educational institution, in developing and promoting Islam Wasathiyah amidst complex socio-political dynamics. Using historical and analytical approaches, this paper examines the internal and external factors that drive the emergence of the concept of Islam Wasathiyah, and analyzes al-Azhar's involvement in political contestations in Egypt and the Islamic world in general. Furthermore, this paper outlines the strategies implemented by al-Azhar, especially under the leadership of Grand Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, in campaigning for Islam Wasathiyah through various initiatives, such as international conferences, scientific publications, institutional cooperation, and religious diplomacy. By analyzing al-Azhar's role in facing the challenges of religious extremism and radicalism, this paper contributes to the discussion on the future of moderate Islam and the significance of religious institutions in shaping inclusive and peaceful Islamic discourse and practice. The findings of this study emphasize the importance of al-Azhar's role as a key actor in the global geopolitical landscape, as well as its potential in promoting a balanced and contextual understanding of Islam in facing contemporary challenges.

Abstract

Using a bibliometric approach, this study analyses trends and problems in inclusive education research from 2018 to 2023. The data was taken from the Scopus database, with 200 publications found, sorted into 159 relevant articles, and then analyzed using the Biblioshiny software. The results showed a significant increase in the number of publications related to inclusive education, with the most significant spikes occurring in 2019 and 2020, with 46 articles each. The most frequently emerged keywords were inclusive education, special needs, disability, and inclusive pedagogy, which reflected the main focus on special needs and inclusive pedagogy. Geographical distribution shows that the research is dominated by developed countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, while developing countries still contribute relatively little. The network of collaboration between researchers is strong among developed countries, but cross-country collaboration with developing countries is still limited. The main problems identified in the literature are lack of teacher training, limited resources, and cultural resistance. In addition, there is a research gap in inclusive education at the university level and a lack of concrete solutions to address existing problems. This research provides important insights into the development of inclusive education research. It identifies areas that still need further exploration, especially in developing countries and in the context of higher education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini difokuskan pada evaluasi program "Live In Dakwah" untuk meningkatkan moral siswa menggunakan model evaluasi Context, Input, Process, Product(CIPP). Program "Live In Dakwah" adalah inisiatif yang diimplementasikan oleh SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta untuk mengatasi penurunan karakter moral siswa, yang ditandai dengan isu-isu seperti perkelahian mahasiswa, penggunaan narkoba, dan pelecehan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) dan dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan model evaluasi CIPP. Model CIPP akan digunakan untuk menilai konteks, input, proses, dan produk program untuk menentukan efektivitasnya dalam meningkatkan moral siswa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukan bahwa Live In Dakwah dinyatakan berhasil karena hasil nilai rapot mata Pelajaran Akidah Akhlak siswa mencapai kriteria ketuntasan 90%. Hasil evaluasi ini menunjukan bahwa program live in dakwah cukup efektif jika ditinjau dari hasil kegiatannya.Hasil evaluasi ini diharapkan akan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan program "Live In Dakwah" dan meningkatkan dampaknya pada perkembangan moral siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman membaca suku kata tunagrahita ringan jenjang SMP dengan menggunakan aplikasi solite kids sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pre eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan rancangan One Grup Pre-test and Post-test lalu diolah dengan uji Wilxocon, subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang siswa tunagrahita ringan jenjang SMP di SKh Madina Kota Serang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang diambil adalah berupa tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan uji Wilxocon menunjukan bahwa Thitung = 6 pada tingkat signifikansi 0,05 dengan jumlah n = 3, diperoleh Ttabel = 0, maka H0 ditolak karena Thitung > Ttabel, artinya hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian diterima. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan dalam kemampuan pemahaman membaca suku kata pada siswa tunagrahita ringan jenjang SMP di SKh Madina Kota Serang setelah menggunakan aplikasi Solite Kids

Abstract

This study aims to improve the speaking ability of 5-6 year old children in Raudhatul Athfal Alaika, Kemingking Dalam Village, Taman Rajo District, Muaro Jambi Regency, by using a demonstration method based on animated videos. This method involves teachers showing certain steps directly in front of children, so that the learning process becomes more interactive and enjoyable. The main challenge faced in teaching is the lack of interesting methods, which results in children feeling bored and having difficulty understanding the subject matter. The research design uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach with two cycles, each cycle includes the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through careful observation of children's participation and responses during the learning process. The data were then analyzed using the average test and learning completeness to measure the improvement in children's speaking ability. The results of the pre-cycle showed that only 10 children were included in the BSH category in answering questions and constructing simple sentences, with a distribution of values ​​consisting of 4 children in the BB category, 5 children in the MB category, and 1 child in the BSB category in expressing ideas. After cycle I, all children showed improvement, entering the MB and BSH categories in each language skill indicator. In cycle II, all children achieved the BSB criteria, were able to answer more complex questions, express ideas better, and understand the concepts contained in the storybook. The conclusion of this study shows that the animated video-based demonstration method is very effective in improving children's speaking skills, expanding vocabulary, and providing an understanding of language use in a more real context. This method also creates a fun learning atmosphere, so that children are more motivated to actively participate in learning

Abstract

Library digitization is key to enhancing accessibility and the utilization of information in order to improve educational literacy in the digital era. South Sulawesi, as part of Indonesia’s rapidly developing region, needs to strengthen its information infrastructure, such as digital libraries, to address users' behavior towards technological advancements. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of the library digitization system in South Sulawesi by evaluating implementation strategies, identifying success factors and challenges, and understanding its impact on library services and public access to information. This research employs a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative data analysis in parallel. Quantitatively, surveys (both offline and online) were conducted to collect data on implementation strategies, success factors, and barriers to library digitization. Qualitatively, in-depth interviews and document analysis were used to explore the impact of library digitization on services and public access to information. The results show that the level of library digitization implementation in South Sulawesi remains low. Existing digitization strategies vary but are generally hindered by limited infrastructure and human resources. Success factors include government support and collaboration with other institutions, while the main challenges involve insufficient funding, resistance to change, and low digital literacy among the population. The positive impacts of digitization include improved access to information and better quality library services, although there are still challenges in maintaining the systems. Key recommendations include improving infrastructure, staff training, and increasing public digital literacy.

Abstract

Motivasi guru merupakan hal yang penting bagi peningkatan kualitas pendidikan karena mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi guru, salah satunya kepemimpinan transformasional. Kajian komprehensif mengenai pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap motivasi guru dilakukan di berbagai negara, termasuk Indonesia. Penelitian, terutama literature review mengenai pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi guru masih sangat terbatas. Sehingga artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review. Artikel yang diulas diperoleh dari Google Scholar dengan kata kunci “The Influence of Principal’s Transformational Leadership on Teacher Motivation”. Terdapat 20 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria untuk dilakukan ulasan lebih lanjut. Temuan dari literature review mengungkapkan bahwa sebagian besar artikel (17 artikel) menyatakan kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan sebagian besar dikatakan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi guru di berbagai negara, sedangkan 3 artikel lainnya menyatakan kepemimpinan transformasional tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi guru.

Abstract

The curriculum significantly influences the direction of classroom learning activities. In an era where adapting to rapid change is essential, the Kurikulum Merdeka (emancipated curriculum) has been introduced to address educational needs. This article explores how teachers implement strategies for teaching English writing based on the emancipated curriculum, along with the challenges they encounter. The research involved two English teachers from Islamic junior high schools, both teaching seventh graders. Data was gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that students were highly engaged in English writing due to the teaching strategies employed, making the learning experience more enjoyable and engaging. In the application of the emancipated curriculum, teachers acted primarily as facilitators, guiding students to take a more active role in their learning. The study suggests that the teachers' strategies were well-suited to the students' abilities and learning needs.
