Abstract

This research develops PowerPoint-based FI-SI (Fiqh Animation) learning media with hyperlink features for learning Fiqh on Zikir and Prayer material for class VII students at MTs Al-Asy'ariyah Banjarsari. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, comprising the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, validation by two media experts and two subject matter experts, and a response questionnaire administered to 17 students. Media expert validation scores reached 85% and 90% (averaging 87.5%), while subject matter expert validation scores reached 98% and 100% (averaging 99%). Based on the established criteria, both average scores fell into the "highly feasible" category. A limited trial yielded an 82% positive response from students, placing it in the "good" category. The findings show that FI-SI is very feasible based on expert validation and is well received by students as a supporting medium for Fiqh learning. As the study did not utilize a pretest-posttest design or a control group, the results demonstrate feasibility and user acceptance rather than causal effectiveness regarding motivation, comprehension, or learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study develops SMAQ (SMART AKIDAH), a hyperlink-based learning medium for Grade 10 Islamic Religious Education on Akidah Akhlak at SMAN 1 Ngimbang, Lamongan. The study responds to the limited use of interactive media in teacher-centered instruction and the difficulty of presenting abstract religious concepts. Using a Research and Development design and the ADDIE model, needs were identified through observation and interviews; the product was then designed, developed, validated, implemented in a limited classroom trial, and evaluated. SMAQ was developed in Microsoft PowerPoint and integrates structured learning materials, images, videos, practice exercises, evaluation activities, Wordwall quizzes, and navigational hyperlinks. Validation produced feasibility scores of 87.3% from the subject-matter expert and 90.67% from the media expert, both categorized as highly feasible. Students’ responses reached 85.64%, categorized as very interesting. These findings show that SMAQ is feasible and well received as a supporting medium for Akidah Akhlak instruction. Because the study did not employ pretest–posttest measurement or a comparison group, the findings establish product feasibility and user acceptance rather than causal effectiveness in improving learning outcomes.

Abstract

Vocational education must prepare graduates who are technically competent, ethically grounded, adaptable, and ready to enter the workforce. This study analyzes how religious character and vocational orientation are integrated into student affairs management at SMK Al Islam Joresan, Ponorogo, Indonesia, and how this integration contributes to character formation and career readiness. Using a qualitative single-case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, observations, and document analysis involving school leaders, teachers, program coordinators, 15 students, 10 student council members, parents, alumni, and five industry partners. The data were analyzed thematically and iteratively. The findings show that integration occurs longitudinally through religious-value internalization, habituation, vocational learning and practice, student participation, career exploration, industrial internships, evaluation, and career transition support. Honesty, trustworthiness, discipline, responsibility, and integrity are translated into professional behavior through compliance with standard operating procedures and occupational health and safety requirements, as well as through communication, collaboration, independence, and accountability. The study proposes an integrative student development management framework that connects eight developmental components through a value–competence integration mechanism. The framework demonstrates the importance of aligning character formation, vocational competence, authentic work experience, school–family–industry collaboration, and transition evaluation to develop principled, competent, adaptable, and career-ready graduates.

Abstract

Vocational education is expected to produce graduates who are not only professionally competent but also demonstrate religious values in their daily behavior. This study examines how the principal of SMK Negeri 1 Ponorogo, Indonesia, interprets and enacts leadership in developing a religious school culture and transforming ‘stated values’ into ‘lived values.’ Using a qualitative single-case study design, data were collected through semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis involving the principal, vice principals, teachers, students, parents, and alumni. Data were analyzed thematically, and credibility was strengthened through source and method triangulation. The findings identify five interconnected leadership roles: value interpreter, cultural architect, moral and religious exemplar, institutionalizing agent, and community mobilizer. Value transformation occurs through interpretation, role modeling, institutionalization, role distribution, habituation, student participation, evaluation, leadership succession, and continuity between school and family. The study shows that religious culture operates as a socio-organizational process that shifts student behavior from supervision-based compliance toward value internalization while reproducing shared values across actors and generations. Its sustainability depends on institutionalization, collective ownership, and the integration of religious values with the moral and professional dispositions required in vocational education.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the need for digital media to help elementary school students learn salat in a visual, interactive way. The study aimed to develop a learning medium called SKIDS (Sholat for Kids Digital System) and to assess its feasibility and user response. A Research and Development (R&D) approach was employed using the ADDIE model, comprising analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product was validated by subject matter and media experts, followed by small-scale testing with 10 students and large-scale testing with 25 students at SDN 3 Pulolor. Validation results indicated a feasibility level of 85.3% from subject matter experts and 96% from media experts; both ratings fall into the "highly feasible" category. User testing yielded a response rate of 72%. The findings demonstrate that SKIDS is suitable for use as a supporting medium for saalat instruction. However, because the study did not use pretest-posttest measurements or a control group, the results reflect feasibility and user acceptance rather than the medium's causal effectiveness on learning outcomes.
