The objective of this scholarly journal is to publish empirical research, theory, and concepts developed in management studies. The Comprehensive research methods including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed method research in accordance to enrich the scientific articles are welcome. The scope of article published addressing management issues from multidiscipline point of view of research that reflect the diversity of the management studies. Review articles are published biannually in February and August. The blind reviewed paper processed from expert chosen by journal editors, with aim in improving the quality content for the journal. Abstract

Many researchers are unsure which software to use for quantitative research data analysis because there is no research comparing different software options. This study aims to compare the results of using Smart-PLS and SPSS software for analyzing quantitative data in the field of supply chain management. The study analyzed data from 231 respondents using questionnaires with three variables: lean supply chain strategy, agile supply chain strategy, and sustainable performance. The analysis focused on hypothesis testing and regression analysis, which measures the influence of independent variables on dependent variables. The study found that both Smart-PLS and SPSS software produced significant results in terms of p-value, t-value, determination value, and correlation value. This research is unique because it provides a comparative analysis of Smart-PLS and SPSS software.

Abstract

Local authority has the imperative rules to obtain community satisfaction through its performance. Quality services delivered to community driving prosperous local authority to delight community. Therefore, this research attempt to develop framework on community satisfaction through service quality dimensions. Important satisfaction analysis is deployed to measure community satisfaction towards service quality provided by local authority. The gap from this analysis enables to cater the level of importance and satisfaction of service quality provided by local authority. This method proposed in this study facilitates local authority to perform service excellence for the community.

Abstract

CSR is one of the drivers of employee engagement is a trend and the attention of researchers in the business world today. Experience proves that Employee engagement helps organizations to increase profits, commitment and loyalty reduces attrition, reduce absenteeism, and accidents which in turn adds up to the revenues of the firm. This study seeks to investigate whether the model of transactional, relational, and developmental approaches is an effective approach in applying the concept of CSR as a tool for employee engagement.

Abstract

This paper aims to obtain empirical insight of the factors promoting foreign workers mobility in Asian integration, particularly within ASEAN plus Three countries. Using questionnaire as a qualitative research tool, this study tries to capture general perspective of Asian integration and common market idea as being implemented in European case. Motivation of this study is to provide a preliminary picture whether workers will start to another country if Asian integration start soon and what are the affectig factors. All of the finding results are consistent with several previous studies Study results demonstrate that almost all of respondents believe that foreign workers mobility is affected in Asian Integration by more job opportunity supplies. The most important factors in both foreign workers inflow and outflow is technology spillover Moreover, most respondents also agree that all foreign workers are being treated equally or even higher in some cases, compare to other local workers

Abstract

Leadership is a person's ability to provide good role models and performance. Leadership is also a person's ability to move staffs to achieve organizational goals. A leader is required to create innovations that can give birth to strategic policies in running the wheels of the organization. Ahok is known to many as a controversial leader. Ahok's arrogant attitude in the eyes of some people was considered negative. Ahok's attitude was also considered bad in the eyes of the Moslems regarding his statement of the Al-Maidah verse 51. However, Ahok was also known as an innovative leader. The media had highlighted Ahok's actions in leading Jakarta. One of Ahok's strategic policies was the Jakarta Smart Card which is expected to provide access to education at a minimum of up to high school / vocational school for Jakarta residents who are less able. The green open space program was also Ahok's strategic policy that functions ecologically and as a place for social activities in public spaces. Both programs were considered positive and even continued and developed by the next Governor, Anies Baswedan. This research method uses descriptive qualitative analysis. The author seeks literature from literature studies and seeks Ahok's strategic programs from online and printed news media. In conclusion, Ahok is a controversial leader, but he is also an innovative leader.

Abstract

Pancasila is our philosophy and guideline in nation and state. In realizing the values ​​of Pancasila, it is very difficult because this nation is very large. Therefore, the State really needs help from civil society. Philanthropy is an activity to do good or give charity to others so as to bring prosperity to the community. A philanthropic activity is needed to flatten the welfare of the people. This paper contains the actions of one of the Islamic Philanthropy institutions namely Lazismu in combating poverty evenly throughout Indonesia. Lazismu is an Islamic Philanthropy organization under the auspices of Muhammadiyah. The institution is helping the government to realize social welfare as mandated by Pancasila. This paper uses qualitative methods and descriptive analysis. Lazismu's role in the distribution of people's welfare in its strategic programs is very helpful for the government. As a result, the Government and Lazismu along with other social movements can ground Pancasila values ​​in Indonesia, especially the 5th principle.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of empirically examining the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), partially on stock prices with the intervening variable interest rates in the banking company (Bank Rayat Indonesia Tbk). In addition, this study empirically examines the effect of ROA, CAR, and interest rates simultaneously on the stock price of Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk. In this study the authors used quantitative research with an associative approach. Types of secondary data from Quarter I 2010- Quarter IV 2020 data taken from Bank BRI's website on the IDX. Data analysis used classical assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing and path analysis. For the coefficient of determination (R2), where it is found that the greatest direct contribution is the interest rate variable to the stock price of 50.1%, while the indirect contribution is ROA and CAR to stock prices through interest rates of 0.513 or 51.3%.

Abstract

Every organization aims to have the best performance, therefore, the quality of employees greatly determines the progress of the organization. Employees who are happy with their work routines will be more productive, while those who are dissatisfied with employees will be less productive and are more likely to want to quit their jobs. This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline and job promotion on job satisfaction. It determines the effect of work discipline and job promotion on employee performance. It determines the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance while determining the effect of work discipline on employee performance through job satisfaction and job promotion on performance. LLP-KUKM employees are involved through job satisfaction. The number of samples in this study was 80 employees. The data analysis technique uses path analysis. The results of the analysis show that work discipline and promotion have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction. Work discipline and promotion have a significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction has an effect on employee performance. Work discipline affects employee performance through job satisfaction of LLP-KUKM employees. Job promotion has an effect on employee performance through job satisfaction at LLP-KUKM.

Abstract

Today, in our global era, the rate of return on investment is a benchmark for companies in making business decisions, where the rate of return on investment is one of the factors for making these decisions. In addition, the exchange rate is another important factor to analyze in the manufacturing business world, because the exchange rate is closely related to purchase raw materials organizing from exports and imports. In addition, profitability is the company's measuring power in terms of getting profits. Besides that, the manufacturing companies contained in LQ45 are very dependent on the stock price which is the measuring power in making the company's management decisions. For this reason, this study aimed to determine the magnitude of the partial and simultaneous effect of ROI, exchange rate on stock prices including LQ45 in the manufacturing sector through profitability on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, where the level of influence between ROI, exchange rate on profitability is 0.741 or 74.1%, where there is a strong relationship between ROI, exchange rate on profitability. Then, the level of influence between ROI, the exchange rate on stock prices where the calculation results are 3.537 or 35.37%, namely there is a fairly strong relationship between ROI and the exchange rate on stock prices. Then, there is a strong relationship between profitability and stock price of 0.692 or 69.92%. Meanwhile, between ROI on stock prices through profitability where the direct influence of ROI on stock prices is greater than the indirect effect (3.290> 1.564) meaning that profitability is not an intervening variable in this study, as well as for the exchange rate on stock prices through profitability where the value of the direct effect is greater than the indirect effect (3.537> 1.222), which means that profitability is not an intervening variable in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of information technology on the effectiveness of accounting information systems at PT Seraphim Karya Agung. Phenomena used to test the effectiveness of accounting information systems include: data security, time, accuracy, variety of reports or output, and relevance. The inhibiting factors that exist in the implementation of accounting information systems are human resources, time and completeness of data. The solutions provided to increase the effectiveness of the accounting information system at PT Seraphim Karya Agung are: (1) improving HR soft skills, namely time discipline, by giving warnings and harsh reprimands to undisciplined employees, (2) increasing the ability of accounting information systems to overcome crash down condition of the system which can slow down the process of making financial reports, (3) related to data completeness, the accounting department of auxiliary expenditures that processes financial data that still uses a manual system to immediately transfer its use to accounting information systems by providing education and training.
