Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Amsilati terhadap kemampuan baca kitab kuning santri di Pondok Pesantren Kanzul Ulum Langkap Burneh Bangkalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu dan desain posttest only control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen yang sudah menerapkan metode Amsilati hingga khatam dan kelompok kontrol yang menerapkan metode tersebut namun belum khatam. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes baca kitab kuning (kitab Safinatunnajah) untuk mengukur kemampuan nahwu, shorof, dan tarkib, serta lembar angket untuk mengetahui respon santri terhadap pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan metode Amsilati terhadap kemampuan baca kitab kuning santri, ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikansi uji t pada variabel X sebesar 0,003 dan variabel Y sebesar 0,000, lebih kecil dari taraf signifikansi 0,05. Dengan demikian, metode Amsilati terbukti efektif dalam keterampilan membaca kitab kuning pada santri di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of muzakki’s understanding of the benefits of zakat maal on social concern and compliance in paying zakat. The research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to 97 respondents in Burneh Village, Bangkalan. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, supported by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that muzakki’s understanding has a positive and significant effect on both social concern and zakat payment compliance, either partially or simultaneously. These findings suggest that a better understanding of zakat benefits, particularly in improving the economic productivity of mustahiq, can enhance social awareness and compliance behavior. Furthermore, the study highlights that muzakki’s understanding serves as a key factor linking cognitive, social, and behavioral aspects in zakat practices. This research provides important implications for zakat management institutions to strengthen educational and socialization strategies in order to optimize zakat collection and reinforce its role as an instrument for community economic empowerment.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low level of student participation and learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI), which are often caused by the dominance of passive lecture-based teaching methods. This quantitative study aimed to examine the effect of the Self-Directed Learning (SDL) model on the learning activeness and learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Al-Hikam Burneh Bangkalan. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a posttest-only control group design. Through purposive sampling, 75 students were selected as the sample and divided into an experimental group (n = 37), which applied the SDL model, and a control group (n = 38), which used the lecture method. The data were analyzed using statistical tests that showed significant results at the level of p = 0.000 (p ≤ 0.05). The findings revealed that the average activeness score of the experimental class (39.54) was higher than that of the control class (33.21). Likewise, the average learning outcome score of the experimental class (74.70) also exceeded that of the control class (64.36). This study concludes that the SDL model effectively improves students’ active engagement and cognitive achievement in PAI learning. Educators are therefore encouraged to adopt the SDL model as an alternative learning approach to foster learner autonomy in the contemporary era.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the At-Tartil Method on the Quranic reading ‎ability of students at BMQ At-Tartil Institution of Kanzul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in ‎the 2023–2024 academic year. The study employs a quantitative approach with an ex post ‎facto research design. Stratified random sampling was used to select participants, and data ‎were analyzed using simple linear regression. The independent variable (X) was the ‎application of the At-Tartil Method, and the dependent variable (Y) was students’ Quranic ‎reading ability. Results revealed t-value = 4.435 > t-table = 1.703 and F-value = 19.673 > F-‎table = 3.34, with a regression equation of Y = 29.032 + 0.642X. These findings confirm that ‎the At-Tartil Method has a significant positive influence on students’ Quranic reading ‎ability. This study contributes theoretically to the development of Quranic learning ‎methods in Islamic boarding school settings and provides practical recommendations for ‎Quranic education institutions.‎
