Abstract

It is felt that the availability ofhigh quality human resourceshas become an urgent needinrelation to the challenges that wouldbe faced by the Indonesian nation in times to come.Thejuniorhigh school is a partofthe nine-year basic school­ing which is the required minimum education for all Indonesians.Therefore, the position and roleofthe teaching ofthe physicalsciences there in the courseof developing human resources isextremely strategic. For a numberofits graduates, the juniorhighschool is the last partoftheir formal education. After graduating,they generally choose working rather thari continuing their school­ing. Meanwhile, a partofthose who can continue their schoolingmay enter the fieldof the social sciences, a field which is nolonger related to the physical sciences.In relation with the mission that the junior high school bears,the basic knowledge and skills students learn there should beflexibly useful for both future work and further study. Therefore,the teachingofthe physical sciences at junior high school shouldbe c.onducted accordingly efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Improvements on traditional foods in the society of their origin have been made by processing them in certain ways, giving them particular treatments, and mixing them with specific flavour. Each of such foods has a typical taste and appearance, fits in with some regional condition, and already becomes the daily consumtion of acertain part of society but, as they frow side by side with various foods from other countries, their existence in the present era of flobalization has lately become almost laborius due to such factors as a fhanging lifestyle, economic growth, the intensive promotion of various foreign foods, and the availability of such foods from abroad in the native country of the aforesaid traditional foods.

Abstract

Essentially, the issues of collegian activities guidance werein increasing of their qualities. The impowennent of collegianfor the academy were belong to the important way,to did. As thestrategically institution that producing the nation leader candidates,besides providing the academically insight in its field, inthe right way that the institution was creating a conducive environmentthat aimed in the growing of collegian's social fife inthe scientifically insight cultural.In the academy, learning process that containing the regularlycollege activities that included in the field of academicallyactivities were becoming a primary service in collegian activitieswhich were pressed in point of the agile of intelligently collegian.In addition, there were~hek ind service that provide byacademy that was providing the vehicle for the collegians in theirorganization activities to actualize of their talent, interest andability that was belonged that aimed of their optimal development.The optimalization of collegian activities or extracurricularactivities was implemented in the way of (1) determining of col-Iegian acttsrities priority with ,ha?ljiical Hierarchy Process toobtain the rationaily activities and properly implemented. Abstract

This article concerns a research aimed at explainingideology was ......._A................'.......a staterelevant educational programs in the course shaping ageneration of modern students still retaining the Balinese character.The research was an educational ethnographical one, llSillginformants selected purposively by means of a snowball samplingtechnique. The data, collected by making observationsinterviews, studying compiled documents, and giving tests tostudents, were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the researchindicate that the school above is a school with Hindu nuances and,relevant with its vision, mission, and goal, has developed certaineducational programs to participate in making a success of the moralmovement in the Balinese society to actualize a Bali remainingBalinese.The movement to remain Balinese was defined by theteachers and students as a moral one made to retain the Balinesepeople's characteristic religious and socio-cultural living, preservedon the basis of the implementation of tri hita karana values.Accordingly, the school has developed educational programsempowering students in taking part in actualizing those values atschool, not meaning that the school has abandoned the nationaleducational vision, mission, and goal.

Abstract

Relief isonenf the decorations which was carved on the wall of temple.Themost of the relieves of East Java style have rather flatform as wayang, differentfrom the relieves of Centre Java style whichhave realistic form. There was the reliefnarrative Atjunawiwahawhich was carved on the wall of Selamangleng Cave,which havean education values which was necessary to the continue generation toface the epoch challange globalisation. Thismatter to remember the educationvalues of Indonesianmore pale. Although properly the .,ducation values whichwas still relevancewith the epoch development 2006/2007 percisted weredefended, and the culture which not relevance with the need of Indonesian societycould be left.In the asceticism scene contains belief in One God element, becausethe reached ofpurpose asceticism of was determined by the One God. It waslocation of the education value which was necessary planted to the children early.In the Goddess scenewas expressed freely and naturally. The describe of femalepersonwho tempts a male person, conform with the character of East Javaneseinclude the female person,who has the extrovert character. It's different from theCentre Javanesewho has the introvert character. There was also the ethic andaesthetic value, that was described in the Goddess scene with low level, it meansthey honor Atjuna. In the Bethara Guru scene gave a Pasopati heirloom to Arjunato killed Newatakawaca, indicated that Arjuna was responsible to reach thepurpose. The scene of Arjuna and Dewi Supraba went together to k.iIIedNewatakawaca, indecated there were an union and unit value between the Arjunaand Supraba. Abstract

Kebugaran adalah kesanggupan tubuh untuk melakukan kerja secara efisientanpa menimbulkan kelelahan yang berarti. Kondisi tersebut merupakan tuntutan setiaporang agar dapat menikmati hidup secara sehat, dinamis dan produktif.Dan hasil penelilian menunjukkan bahwa, status kebugaran masyarakat saat inipada tingkat kurang baik. Status kebugaran seseorang ditentukan oleh pola hidup, yaknipengaluran makan, kesempatan istirahat dan kebiasaan berolahraga.BeroLahraga untuk meningkatkan kebugaran secara aman dan efektif perlumemperhatikan azas latihan, takaran latihan, model latihan dan tatacara latihan yangbenar. Tulisan ini akan mengkaji cara berlatih olahraga yang benar, sehingga dapatmeningkatkan kebugaran secara aman dan efektif, yang dapat dilakukan semua orang.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research was to investigate the effect of a method of green chemistry practicum on students’ learning outcomes. The study used a quasi-experimental research with non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group design. The population of the study is all students of mathematics and natural sciences of senior high schools in Bali Province. For the aim of the study, it took two parallel classes from one of the senior high schools in Bali Province. In the study, each class consisted of 40 students. One class as a control group was taught by a method of conventional chemistry practicum and another as an experimental group was taught by a method of green chemistry practicum. The results showed that the method of the green chemistry practicum is more effective than that of the conventional practicum in improving students’ learning outcomes. Keywords: green chemistry practicum, conventional chemistry practicum, learning outcomes, reaction rate METODE PRAKTIKUM KIMIA HIJAU UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA TOPIK LAJU REAKSI Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki pengaruh medote praktikum kimia hijau terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan non-equivalent pre-test post-test control group design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa MIA SMA di Provinsi Bali. Untuk keperluan penelitian ini, diperlukan dua kelas paralel dari salah satu SMA yang ada di provinsi Bali. Pada penelitian ini, masing-masing kelas terdiri atas 40 orang siswa. Salah satu kelas sebagai kelompok kontrol yang diajar dengan metode praktikum kimia konvensional dan satu kelas yang lain sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang diajar dengan metode praktikum kimia hijau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode praktikum kimia hijau lebih efektif daripada metode praktikum konvensional dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dalam memahami kemiskinan terdapat perbedaanpendapat yang disebabkan karena konsep kemiskinan memilikidimensi yang luas. Hal tersebut berimplikasi penanganannyapun memerlukan strategi khusus yang berorientasi padasebab.,.sebab kemiskinan yang dimiliki oleh suatu daerah yangmenjadi kantong-kantong kemiskinan.Kebijaksanaan dalam hal kemiskinan betapa pun baik"ya, tanpa didukung oleh partisipasi masyarakat dan sistemadministrasi yang tepat, hanya merupakan slogan saja.Partisipasi masyarakat dalam program pengentasankemiskinan ini tidak sebatas sebagai keterlibatan penerimaprogram bantuan, namun keterlibatan dalam seluruh prosespembangunan mulai dari perencanaan proyek. implementasiproyek;' sampai dengan pengawasan proyek pembangunan.
