Abstract

Persaingan pemasaran produk yang ketat dalam industripermesinan telah mendorong teknologi, manufacturing yangdigunakan berkembang demikian pesat. Akibatnya, pergantiansistem dan perangkat manufacturing untuk tujuan perbaikano dan penyempurnaan, berlangsung dalam suatu periode waktuyang semakin singkat. Sasaran akhir yang dituju adalahpemakaian suatu sistem ··dan perangkat manufactur;-ing yangmampu meningkatkan produktivitas, fleksibilitas danotomatisasi yang terpadu di berbagai bidang produksi sehinggamampu menghasilkan produk dengan biaya yang tetapmurah dan cepat.Pada saat ini telah banyak industri permesinan menggunakansistem dan perangkat manufacturing terpaduCADCAM. Pengertian sistem dan perangkat manufacturingini membawa· 'konsekuensi pada pergeseran keahlian dasartenaga kerja yang dib'utuhkan. Semu~a keahlian dasar yangdibutuhkan adalah keahlian dan keterampilan langsung mengoperasikanmesin. Pada saat ini, yang dibutuhkan selainkeahlian langsung, juga keahli-an tidak langsung yang mendukungoperasionaI sistem terpad'-l CADCAM secara optimal,misalnya keahlian membuat program NC, merencana perkakasproduk~i, merencana alat potong, merencana proses, dansebagainya.Lembaga pendidlkan, khususnya yang menghasilkanlulusan untuk bekerja di industri permesinan, harus di tantanguntuk membekali lulusannya dengan seperangkat kompetensi,seperti pemrograman NC, merencana perkakas bantu (jig danFixture), merencana alat potong, merencana proses, dansebagainya "dengan menggunakan bantuan komputer sehinggamereka mampu menangani sistem manufacturing terpaduCADCAM. Salah satu alternatif yang bisa ditempuh adalahmemasukkan sistem terpadu CADCAM ke dalam kurikulum'pendidikan.

Abstract

This analysis is performed to give a description concerning the role of emotions in teaching ofphysical education and sport. Description early with definition ofemotion expressed with results from the perception ofsome happening and described also as a state of physiological and psychological imbalance. Fear, love; and rage are the three "classical" emotions. Emotional arousal is necessary for peak pertormance, however, it is conceded that too much emotional stimulation tend to interfere with the early stages of motor learning. Emotions are involved in any situation, not only in sports situation. The right kind and the approproate amount ofemotional arousal can truly help a student to reach peaks ofachievement, which would not have been possible without it. Measuring success and failure by the number ofwins and losses parameter representing inadvisable action, because too many frustration and too many failures can be debilitating and disorganizing.The true measure ofsuccess for a student must be his achievement in term of his potentials and the degree ofself-fulfillment achieved through participation.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan beban pada kekuatan otot kaki dan kemampuan menendang pemain sepak bola. Subjek yang berjumlah sebelas orang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Lima pemain kelompok eksperimen melakukan latihan beban tiga kali per minggu selama sepuluh minggu yang dilakukan secara bersamaan dengan latihan sepak bola. Enam pemain kelompok kontrol hanya melakukan latihan sepak bola tanpa latihan beban yang berlatih bersama kelompok yang melakukan latihan beban. Pengaruh latihan beban tidak hanya meningkatkan secara signifikan pada kekuatan otot kaki, tetapi juga meningkatkan kecepatan dari pergelangan kaki dan kecepatan bola. Kelompok kontrol yang hanya melakukan latihan sepak bola, tidak menunjukkan peningkatan yang berarti baik pada kekuatan otot kaki maupun kecepatan bola. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan otot kaki merupakan salah satu faktor penting di dalam kemampuan menendang. Kata Kunci: latihan beban, kekuatan otot kaki, kecepatan linier pergelangan kaki, kemampuan menendang bola THE EFFECT OF WEIGHT TRAINING ON THE LEG MUSCLE STRENGTH AND KICK PERFORMANCE OF SOCCER PLAYERS Abstract: This study aimed to investigate the effect of weight training on the leg muscle strength and kick performance of soccer players. The subjects consisting of eleven players were divided into two groups. Five players belonging to the experimental group performed a ten-week weight training (three times per week), along with their regular soccer training. Six players belonging to the control group maintained their regular soccer training, without any additional weight training. The weight training not only improved the leg muscle strength significantly but also improved the angkle joint velocity and the ball velocity. The control group with the regular soccer training did not show any significant improvement on the leg muscle strength and the ball velocity. The findings of this study indicated that the strength of the leg muscle is a very important factor in the kick performance. Abstract

Pada akhir-akhir ini berkembang gejala bahwa pada umumnya program pendidikan nonformal cenderung diselenggarakan dalam format belajar-kelompok melalui kelompok-kelompk kecil. Pendekatan melalui kampanye massal dan pendekatan klasikal sudah mulai banyak ditinggalkan oleh para praktisi, termasuk kecenderungan yang sedang berkembang di Indonesia.Sehubungan dengan ini Hanson menjelaskan bahwa pendekatan belajar-kelompok ini banyak dipilih bukan hanya karena dapat dipergunakan sebagai alat terapi, tetapi juga dapat dipergunakan secara efektif untuk kepentingan usaha perubahan sikap dan tingkah laku melalui program-program latihan baik dalam bidang pembangkitan motivasi, pengambilan keputusan, pemecahan maslah, managemen untuk mengatasi konflik dan kepemimpinan.

Abstract

Kestabilan inti mempakan p e ~ a l a n energi. Energi yang rerkail denganmasalah tersebut adalah energi pengikat inti. Energi pengikat inti adalah energi y n gdilepas mar nukleon bebas membentuk inti. Energi pengikat inti dibagi jumlah nulrleondisebut energi pengikat inti rau-rata pernukleon. Energi pengikal inli dan energipengikat rau-rats pernukleon dapat menjelaskan kestabilan relalif nultlida. Nuklidakurang stabil dapat melumh menjadi nultlida lain, yang energi pengikat rata-talapernukleonnya lebih kecil. Di samping itu energi pengikal inti dan energi pengikalrata-rala pernukleon dapal rnemperttirakan bgarnya energi yang tedibal dalam realtsispantan inti (peluruhan) realtsi fisi, fusi, dan reaks/ penembakan inti.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to find out the gene inheritance pattern of the gembel hair in afamily in Solomerto Village, Solomerto District, Wonosobo Regency, to design alocal phenomenon based module for genetics learning, and to investigate thereadability of the learning module. This study was based on the data of the familytree map of a family with the gembel hair inheritance that could be traced to threegenerations so that this fulfilled the requirements to trace the gene inheritance. Thedata on the gembel hair inheritance were collected through observations andinterviews. The data were then analyzed to find out the characteristic inheritanceby making a map of the family tree and determining the genotype possibility ofeach family member. To investigate the readability of the module, 20 students ofSMA Negeri 8 Yogyakarta were selected as the sample. The data were analyzedusing the qualitative descriptive technique. The results of the study on the basis ofthe family tree map showed that the gembel hair gene inheritance was determinedby the recessive autosomal gene. The students gave positive responses to the localphenomenon based learning module in terms of the material coverage, the materialexplanation, the number of test items, the item difficulty level, the instruction, andthe key answers.Keywords: genetics, local phenomenon, learning module, gembel hair

Abstract

This article is based on an evaluative research intended todetermine the quality profileof the educational radio programsproduced by PUSTEKKOM DIKBUD, a center for communicationtechnology for education, from the pointof view of instructionalaspects, the popularityof the media, and the listeners' level ofunderstanding.Thirty-two pre-recorded educational programsin the format ofaudiocassettes were selected for field evaluation/testing. For thepurposeof the field evaluation, sixty elementary school teachersfrom three provinces (Central Java, Central Kalimantan,and EastNusa Tenggara), with twentyfrom each province, were selected assubjects for the field evaluation. For three days, each group oftwenty teachers were assigned to listen to 10- I2 of the radioprograms. After listeningto each program, they were asked to fill outa questionnaire and interviewedin order that information of theiropinions, impressions, and understandingof the programs could beobtained.The findings show that in general the qualityof the radioprograms from the pointof view of their instructional aspects wasgood enough (that is, the instructional objectives were clearly stated,the contentsofthe lessons were relevant with the achievement oftheobjectives, etc.). From the pointof view of the instructional media, the programs were interesting (the musical background wasinteresting and the presentations were helpful enough for theunderstandingof the contents of the lessons). Only some of theprograms were considered low in quality and in needofrevision.On the basisof the results of the evaluation, it is suggested thatbefore being broadcast nationally, eachof the radio programs shouldbe field testedto get information about its strengths and weaknessesso that the program developer and producer can revise and improvethem

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to (1) describe in depth the causes of low reading interest of the community, especially the younger generation of school age, (2) to diagnose various causes of low reading interest, and (3) to find a model of reading activities that can encourage people to read so that the culture especially in the young generation of school age in the Village of Tabongo, district Tabongo, District East of Gorontalo. The methods used in this study qualitative method in the form of case studies by examining events or events related to reading interest and culture literacy. The technique of collecting data through observation, interviews, recording of data and images. Data analysis techniques, namely present, analyze, decompile, and exposes the data as is associated with the interests and culture of reading society. The research results showed that the reading interest in the community is still classified as low, because not yet available the means to read, educational level of the average graduate community primary school, dropping out of school, and lack of knowledge in literacy. To increase interest in reading in order to foster a culture of literacy needs to be carried out various strategies program that can reach out to all levels in society, namely the provision of means of library the village-based IT, student involvement KKN to teach how to read and write for two or three months, will need to work closely with nearby schools to grant access to the community dropped out from school in order to get a chance to learn.Keywords: interest in literacy, culture, reading, Gorontalo PENUMBUHAN BUDAYA LITERASI MELALUI PENINGKATAN MINAT BACA MASYARAKAT DESA Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mendeskripsikan secara mendalam penyebab rendahnya minat baca masyarakat khususnya generasi muda usia sekolah; (2) mendiagnosis berbagai penyebab rendahnya minat membaca masyarakat; dan (3) menemukan model kegiatan membaca yang dapat mendorong masyarakat agar mau membaca sehingga terwujud budaya literasi khususnya pada generasi muda usia sekolah di Desa Tabongo Timur, Kecamatan Tabongo, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Pedekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dalam bentuk studi kasus dengan meneliti kejadian atau peristiwa terkait dengan minat baca dan budaya literasi. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan rekaman data. Teknik analisis data dilakukan lewat penyajian, analisis, uraian, dan pemaparan data terkait dengan minat dan budaya membaca masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa minat membaca masyarakat masih tergolong rendah karena belum tersedia sarana untuk membaca, tingkat pendidikan masyarakat rata-rata tamatan sekolah dasar, putus sekolah, dan buta aksara. Untuk meningkatkan minat baca guna menumbuhkan budaya literasi perlu dilakukan berbagai strategi program yang dapat menjangkau seluruh lapisan masyarakat, seperti penyediaan sarana perpustakaan desa berbasis IT, pelibatan mahasiswa KKN untuk mengajar baca tulis selama dua sampai tiga bulan, perlu kerja sama dengan sekolah terdekat untuk memberikan akses kepada masyarakat putus sekolah guna mendapatkan kesempatan belajar.Kata Kunci: minat baca, budaya, literasi, Gorontalo

Abstract

A number ofphysical activities are classified as sports. Sport exercises give somebenefits to the people actively and physically involved. RegullIT exercise in such act.\yities as walking, jogging, swimming, and playing games like'temUs, football, and badmintonis associated withbetterphysical and mental fitness. Sport exercises get people ready to avoid manymajordiseases and to live healthier, less stressful, and more productive lives than those led bypeople who live sedentary lives. Whenhealth is somehow absent, all the technological advances are useless. Thus there is a direct link between participation inregularphysical activity and good health. Sport exercises prepare people for lifelong health. It is indeed true that such exercises can very much help those with physical and mental problems. Such exercises are good for the body and the brain because the motion ofthe body influences the mind. Physical fitness is not only one ofthe most important keys to a healthy bodybut also the basis ofdynamic and creative intellectual activity. Intelligence and skill could only function at the peak of their capacity when the body is strong. Hardy spirits and tough mindsusually inhabit soundbodies. Sport exercises mayalso enhance neurotransmitter activity in the brain and increase oxygen transport to the brain: By means ofsport exercises people gain opportlmities to develop all their intelligence, whether it is bodily-kinesthetic, spatial, interpersonal, intrapersonal, musical, linguistic, logicalmathematical, of nati.rraJ.istic. . .' - One ofthe amazing fuets to come out ofall the recent research is that the same amount ofexercise helps both the physical selfand the brain. Inessence, this article merely points out what we have already strongly suspected people have experienced: sport exercises are good for both the body and the brain. Through regular, active use ofthe body, one can discover a greater sense ofwell-being, far greater vi­ tality, and a calmer, more relaxed attitude toward daily pressures. Abstract

Alam sebagai terna lukisan naturalistik secara lebiheksplisit di Indonesia tampak pada masa Hindia Molek (19251938).Akan tetapi, objek pemandangan alam tidak hanyamenarik seniman pada masa itu saja, melainkan dari RadenSaleh sampai Dullah dan seniman-seniman yang lebih muda.Persoalan pokok bagi Naturalisme ini adalah pemindahankenyataan alam (realitas) ke dalam bidang kanvas yangdua dimensional. Ruang yang sungguh (virtual space) dipindahkanmenjadi ruang semu yang tergambar di atas kanvas.Demikian pula soal waktu dan gejala-gejalanya.
