Cakrawala Pendidikan (CP) merupakan jurnal ilmiah kependidikan. Jurnal ini menerbitkan berbagai artikel tentang kajian ilmiah dan hasil penelitian pendidikan baik dalam pengertian luas (pendidikan secara umum) maupun khusus (menunjuk pada bidang-bidang studi tertentu). Pemuatan suatu artikel diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan konsep keilmuan dan aplikasinya atau pada pemahaman pendidikan di Indonesia. Jurnal CP terbit tiga kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu edisi Februari, Juni, dan November, diterbitkan oleh LPPMP Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta

The design activity in Indonesia has done for years ago, equal with development ofthis nation. Even traditional design education was educated before prehistory periods, then through to palaces periods in this Archipelago by personal activity in the villages or in workshop that palaces need. The institution of modem design education begin at Dutch Government, because based on "ethical politics" to support the society to get their development. After Indonesia got their freedom, especially institution oftop design education has to be growth and are path in all college that have fine arts subject. The competencies of vocational high school (VHS) graduates, especially in terms of character have not met its standards. This study aims to develop a character-based assessment model for VHS in the form of a guide and procedure. Borg Gall’s (1989) model with the following stages was utilized: (1) needs analysis, (2) planning, (3) development, (4) phase I trial, (5) phase II trial, (6) evaluation of model effectiveness, and (7) final product development. This study involved some experts in the model validation. Trials were done to teachers and principals in eight VHSs in Yogyakarta Special Province, Indonesia in 2017 (first trial), and those from 42 VHSs throughout Java island, Indonesia in 2018 (second trial). Data were collected by questionnaires and interviews and analysed by quantitative and qualitative descriptive statistics. This study suggest that, overall, the model is appropriate and feasible to use, proven by (1) the assessment guide is categorized as ‘very appropriate’ (Mean 3.55; SD .52); (2) assessment procedure achieves an ‘very appropriate’ category (Mean = 3.60; SD = .51); and (3) effectiveness of the assessment model in trial 1 is in the ‘very appropriate’ category (Mean 3.43, and SD .51), and in trial 2 is in the ‘appropriate’ category (Mean 3.38, SD .53).

Abstrak: Pembelajaran program produktif SMK memiliki posisi strategis dalam pengembangan kompetensi siswa, baik kompetensi teknis (hard competence) maupun kecakapan kewirausahaan (soft competence). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan model pembelajaran program produktif SMK mencakup materi ajar, metode pembelajaran, dan evaluasi hasil belajar yang dapat mengembangkan karakter kewirausahaan lulusan. Hasil penerapan pendekatan research and development, pada bidang keahlian Teknologi dan Rekayasa, Pariwisata, serta Bisnis dan Manajemen dapat dikembangkan model pembelajaran program produktif SMK yang mencakup tiga aspek, yakni materi pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, dan evaluasi hasil pembelajaran produktif. Materi pembelajaran perlu didesain dengan memfokuskan pada kegiatan produktif (membuat atau menciptakan produk baik barang maupun jasa) yang menekankan karakter kewirausahaan, metode pembelajaran bersifat penugasan atau project-work, dan evaluasi hasil pembelajaran perlu menerapkan teknik evaluasi unjuk kerja dengan menekankan evaluasi proses dan produk. Abstract: Professional Teachers’ Post-Certification Performances. This study aims to investigate professional teachers’ post-certification performances. It was an evaluation research study employing the goal-free evaluation model by Scriven. The sample, selected from a population of 548 teachers who have received professional incentives Sleman Regency, comprised 55 teachers (5 from kindergartens, 28 from elementary schools, 13 from junior high schools, 7 from senior high schools, and 7 from vocational schools), principals, and staff members of the Office of Education of Sleman Regency. The data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, focus group discussions, documents, and assessment sheets, and were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The results show that the post-certification performances of the majority of professional teachers are not satisfactory yet, shown by the fact that of the 17 indicators, 7 indicators are good and 10 other indicators are fair. This article is about a research aimed at finding out the correlationbetween parents' educational level and elementary schoolchildren's pattern of healthy living in Depok, Sleman, DaerahIstimewa Yogyakarta.The research population consisted of 1.600 parents of 5th gradestudents from 56 state elementary schools in Depok, Sleman, DaerahIstimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). As the research sample, 300 parentsfrom 9 public elementary schools were selected by usingproportional random sampling.The result of a descriptive analysis reveals that 86.3% ofelementary school children's pattern of healthy living in Depok,Sleman, DIY is categorized good and 42.7% of their fathers and38.3% of their mothers are senior high school graduates. The resultof a correlation analysis reveals a significant correlation betweenparents' educational level and state elementary school children'spattern of healthy living in Depok, Sleman, DIY.

Abstrak: Untuk mendukung pembangunan ekonomi, Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional membuat kebijakan yang signifikan tentang proporsi jumlah siswa SMA dan SMK dari 57,85%:42,15% pada tahun 2007 dan menjadi 30%:70% pada tahun 2014. Kebijakan tersebut diharapkan mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi dan mengurangi pengangguran. Kebijakan tersebut hanya didasarkan atas asumsi dan bukan data. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk: (1) menemukan proporsi jumlah siswa SMA dibanding siswa SMK tahun 2007 dan tahun 2014; (2) menemukan besarnya dukungan perbanyakan jumlah siswa SMK terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi; (3) menemukan kontribusi ekspansi jumlah siswa SMK terhadap pengurangan pengangguran; (4) menyusun konsep proporsi jumlah siswa SMA dan SMK yang selaras dengan kebutuhan pembangunan ekonomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah diskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa: (1) proporsi jumlah siswa SMA:SMK pada tahun 2014 adalah 51%:49%; (2) peningkatan jumlah siswa SMK tidak mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi; (3) peningkatan jumlah siswa SMK menyebabkan tingkat pengangguran lulusan SMK makin tinggi; dan (4) idealnya, proporsi jumlah siswa SMA dan SMK didasarkan atas kebutuhan tenaga kerja. Kata kunci: proporsi, konstribusi, pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan pengagguran THE CONTRIBUTION OF POLICY OF INCREASING THE NUMBER OF VOCATIONAL STUDENTS TO ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN INDONESIA Abstract: To support economic development, The National Education Ministry made significant policy regarding the ratio of general secondary school students to vocational secondary school students from 57.85%:42.15% in 2007 to 30%:70% by 2014, supposedly. It is expected that the policy can support economic growth dan reduce unemployment. This policy change was decided based on assumption only and not based on accurate labor information. The objectives of this study were to find out: (1) proportion of general and vocational school students in 2007 and 2014; (2) the support to economic development from increasing the number of vocational secondary school students in 2007 and 2014; (3) to find out the contribution of increasing the number of vocational school students to unemployment reduction; and (4) the concept of link & match between vocational school and the world of work in terms of quantity.The research method used to achieve the objectives of research was descriptive quantitative. The research found that: (1) the ratio of general and vocational secondary school students was 51%:49% in 2014; (2) increasing the number of vocational school students did not support economic growth; (3) increasing the number of vocational school students increased unemployment of vocational school graduates; and (4) ideally, proportion of general and vocational students must be based on the needs of labor. Abstrak: Pengaruh E-learning untuk Meningkatkan Daya Matematik Abstrak: Pengaruh E-learning untuk Meningkatkan Daya Matematik Mahasiswa. Peran integrasi teknologi pada pembelajaran modern cukup penting guna terjadinya proses percepatan dalam peningkatan daya matematika (mathematical power) secara optimal. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan pengaruh e-learning untuk meningkatkan daya matematika. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester IV pada dua level LPTK yang berbeda. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan tes dan teknik analisis data dengan statistik anova dua jalur. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh bahwa daya matematika mahasiswa yang pembelajarannya melalui blended learning lebih baik dibandingkan melalui full e-learning dan konvensional. Tetapi, daya matematika mahasiswa yang pembelajarannya melalui full e-learning kurang baik dibandingkan melalui pembelajaran konvensional. Dengan demikian, peran guru dalam pembelajaran matematika tidak dapat tergantikan oleh teknologi informasi. Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara daya matematik dengan pengetahuan awal, tetapi tidak terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara daya matematik dan durasi login. Kata Kunci: e-learning, daya matematik, blended learning Abstract: Influence of E-learning to Improve Students’ Mathematical Power. The role of technology on modern learning is essential to the acceleration process in the improvement of mathematical power. This research describes the influence of elearning to improve mathematical power. The subject is the fourth semester students at two Universities. The results show that students who learned through blended learning method are much better in mathematical power than students who learned through full e-learning or conventional approaches. Furthermore, students who learned through e-learning are worse than students used conventional method. Therefore, this indicates that the role of teachers in the mathematics learning process can not be replaced by information technology. In addition, there is a significant correlation between mathematical power and pre-knowledge, on the other hand there is no a significant correlation between mathematical power and login duration. Pembangkit tenaga listrik dengan menggunakan bahan bakar fosil seperti minyak bumi, batu bara dan gas alam telah menyebabkan meningkatnya suhu atmosfir bumi, terjadinya hujan asam dan pengaruhi pencemaran lingkungan lainnya. Di lain pihak, kebutuhan energi listrik di Indonesia terus meningkat seiring dengan laju pembangunan. Pusat listrik tenaga nuklir (PTLN) merupkan salah satu jenis pembangkit tenaga listrik alternatif yang prospektif karena mempunyai potensi sebagai pembangkit energi yang besar, hemat bahan bakar, dan juka dibuat dengan teknologi yang memadai akan memiliki tingkat keamanan yang tinggi bagi kehidupan manusia maupun bagi alam lingkungannya.
