Abstract

The development of the Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Program (PAMSIMAS) has improved the welfare of the community, particularly in the health sector. Although this program has made the community happy by providing easy access to clean water at home, research has identified distribution issues in Desa Tabing, such as pipe damage, irregular water distribution, and differences in water pressure due to the elevation of the houses. The aim of this study is to assess the effectiveness of water distribution in PAMSIMAS in Desa Tabing, Koto Kampar Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, and the factors influencing it. This study uses Gibson's theory to measure effectiveness, including productivity, efficiency, satisfaction, excellence, and development. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study were selected using purposive sampling, and data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of the Community-Based Drinking Water and Sanitation Program (PAMSIMAS) in Desa Tabing, Koto Kampar Hulu Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, has been implemented well, although it has not yet fully achieved 100% of its targets. Several factors that influence this effectiveness include community awareness and geographical differences.

Abstract

This research was conducted at the Pangkalan Kerinci District Office, Pelalawan Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of Organizational Culture on Employee Performance at the Pangkalan Kerinci District Office, Pelalawan Regency. The population in this study were employees of the Pangkalan Kerinci District Office, Pelalawan Regency. The sample in this study was 37 employees using the Total Sampling technique. The research method used in this study was the saturated sample method (census) in non-probability sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through questionnaires and interviews. Technical data analysis used Simple Linear Regression Analysis using the SPSS 25 program. Data validity was obtained through validity tests and reliability tests. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant influence of Organizational Culture on Employee Performance. Based on the calculation, the regression Y = 26,000 + 0.392 + e means that every increase in the Organizational Culture variable (X1) will be followed by an increase in employee performance with an R square value of 11.2% while the remaining 88.8% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

In relation to achieving organizational goals, every superior is required to always be careful in making decisions and paying attention to employees, especially in dealing with work family conflict and work discipline of nurses so that good performance and a decrease in turnover rates are created. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work family conflict and work discipline partially and simultaneously on nurse turnover. This study was conducted at Eria Bunda Hospital located at Jl. Ahmad Dahlan Number 163, Kampung Tengah, Sukajadi District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. The population in this study was 76 nurses, and the sample was 76 people using the census method or saturated sample. The results of the study explained that partially and simultaneously the variables of work family conflict and work discipline had a significant effect on the turnover variable in nurses at Eria Bunda Hospital Pekanbaru, with an R Square value of 0.734 explaining that work family conflict and work discipline can affect turnover in nurses at Eria Bunda Hospital Pekanbaru by 73.4% while the remaining 26.6% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research was conducted on employees of the Population and Civil Registration Services Of Dumai City, Riau Province. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of organizational culture and professionalism on work incivility among Population and Civil Registry employees in Dumai City District. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire. The type used in this research is the quantitative type regarding the influence between variables. Research data was analyzed using SPSS version 23. The sample in this study were 32 employees of the Dumai City Population and Civil Registry Service using the purposive sampling method. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative using the multiple linear regression method. Based on the research results, it shows that Organizational Culture and Job Demands influence Workplace Incivility both partially and simultaneously. The results of the Coefficient of Determination (R2) show that the influence of the two independent variables together on the dependent variable is 53,9%. Meanwhile, the remaining 46,1%  was influenced by other variables not observed in this study.

Abstract

Competition in the digital world is currently increasing rapidly, which is marked by the many innovations that have emerged. This requires the broadcaster RRI Pro 2 Pekanbaru to innovate as well and implement effective broadcasting strategies in order to continue to attract and retain its listeners. Therefore, this study aims to determine the Broadcaster's Skills in Presenting the Literacy Chat Rotation Program on Radio Republik Indonesia (Rri) Pro 2 Pekanbaru. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the strategies implemented by RRI Pro 2 Pekanbaru broadcasters include thorough preparation, the use of persuasive language, and adjusting the broadcasting style according to the characteristics of the sources and listeners. With Ben G. Henneke's Theory, several important things have been compiled in announcing, , eloqutio to choose appropriate and interesting communication styles and physical styles, memoria to remember important points, and pronuntiation to convey messages with the right intonation and expression. The overall implementation of Ben G. Henneke's Theory in the broadcasting skills of the Rotation Program contributes to the listener's experience in listening to radio programs.

Abstract

Scarlett whitening is one of the local skincare brands founded in 2017. Scarlett whitening is produced by PT. Opto Lingkar Sejahtera, Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of price perception, product quality and word of mouth of Scarlett Whitening Skincare product on consumer purhasing decisions in Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City. The population in the study was the Tuah Madani District Community who used Scarlett Whitening Products. This type of research is quantitative research using the multiple linear regression method which was selected using the purposive sampling. The result of this study indicate the partially price perception, product quality and word of mouth have an effect on purchasing decisions. The results of the determination coefficient (R2) show that simultaneously the influence of the three independent variables on the dependent variable is 67.3% and the remaining 32.7% are other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

The digital transformation has shifted business promotion strategies from conventional methods to Business Intelligence (BI)-based advertising management systems on e-commerce platforms. This study aims to examine the perceptions of students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau regarding the effectiveness of BI-based advertisement and promotion systems, focusing on their understanding, relevance, and the impact on purchasing decisions. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, questionnaires were distributed to 40 active students who are regular users of e-commerce platforms. The findings reveal that most students have a positive perception of the recommendation system's accuracy, the relevance of ads to personal needs, and the influence of ads on their shopping behavior, with average scores above 3.7. However, students’ understanding of how BI systems work remains moderate, with an average score of 3.2. These results highlight a gap between technology usage and digital literacy. Therefore, educational efforts are necessary to enhance users’ comprehension of the systems they interact with. This study contributes to the development of more human-centered and educational e-commerce promotional systems.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction is a key factor in determining the quality of a business, particularly in the culinary industry. Rumah Makan Pak Abbas is one of the well-known restaurants among the people of Pekanbaru City. It is famous for its traditional Malay dishes, such as asam pode baung sungai (a sour river catfish dish), fried free-range chicken, and cincang daging (minced meat stew). The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of product quality, price perception, and taste on customer satisfaction at Rumah Makan Pak Abbas. This research uses a quantitative approach with the multiple linear regression method. The research sample consisted of 95 respondents, selected using the purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to customers. The results of this study indicate that product quality, price perception, and taste each have a significant partial effect on customer satisfaction at Rumah Makan Pak Abbas.

Abstract

UPT Balai Monitor Pekanbaru Class I Radio Frequency Spectrum is a technical implementing unit under the Directorate General of Resources and Equipment of Post and Information Technology (Ditjen SDPPI), responsible for monitoring and controlling radio frequencies in the Riau region. This study aims to analyze the influence of work-family conflict and work motivation on organizational commitment. The research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach, using questionnaires distributed to 35 out of 47 employees through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using SPSS. The results indicate that work-family conflict does not have a significant partial effect on organizational commitment, while work motivation has a significant effect. Simultaneously, both independent variables influence organizational commitment. These findings underscore the importance of addressing employee motivation and considering the potential impact of work-family conflict on organizational commitment.

Abstract

Traffic congestion in Pekanbaru City has become a serious problem along with the growth in the number of vehicles and low awareness of road users. This study aims to analyze the policy of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Agency in overcoming congestion, by emphasizing three main indicators: legitimate government authority in formulating public policies, general policies for the benefit of the community, and the role of the government in ensuring that policies can be implemented effectively. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, documentation, and interview techniques. The results of the study indicate that the Transportation Agency's policy has reflected the three indicators, although it still faces obstacles such as limited personnel and coordination between institutions. Therefore, strengthening institutions and increasing public awareness are important factors in realizing smooth traffic in Pekanbaru City.
