Abstract

The process of learning activities is an important factor in determining the success of students' learning achievements. Therefore, teachers must be able to sort and choose and determine learning approaches that are appropriate to the learning material and student characteristics in the learning process and learning objectives. The application of an appropriate learning approach is assumed to influence students' physics learning achievement. The aim of this researcher is to find out how teachers apply experimental models to increase understanding of the concept of changes in substances for class V students in one of the elementary schools in Bajing Village, Kroya District. This research is a qualitative research. The population of this study was a fifth grade teacher at one of the elementary schools in Bajing village, Kroya subdistrict. This data collection technique uses interviews with one of the class V teachers at one of the elementary schools in Bajing village, Kroya sub-district. Based on the results of this research, the suitability of learning shows that the teacher uses experimental methods on material changes in substances so that students understand it better. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that learning using the experimental method can increase students' understanding of the material on changes in substances. This can be seen from the students' ability to carry out the experiments given.

Abstract

The indigenous Papuan Muslim community until now is famous as a community that embraces minority religions. So in some places, they seem to be isolated and get less attention. There is a fairly close relationship between ethnography and society and culture as a result of its creativity. Therefore, this relationship needs to be applied positively, where it is necessary to use ethnographic studies as an alternative form in carrying out research on culture in society. The problem of education is also one of the important problems that must be solved and know the cause and effect of the educational problem.

Abstract

National identity is an integral aspect in building unity and diversity in a country. Citizenship education is considered a key instrument in strengthening and developing awareness of national identity among the younger generation. This research aims to explore and analyze the role of citizenship education in forming the national identity of the Indonesian nation. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The research results show that citizenship education has a significant impact in shaping the national identity and character of Indonesian citizens. Through the implementation of a curriculum that focuses on understanding the values of Pancasila, democratic principles, cultural diversity, as well as Indonesia's history and natural wealth, students are able to develop a sense of national awareness, tolerance, and be critical of social and political issues. Citizenship education has also succeeded in fostering a sense of love and pride for the homeland, which is an important factor in strengthening Indonesia's national identity. Therefore, the results of this research provide empirical support for the vital role of citizenship education in shaping the character and national identity of students in Indonesia.

Abstract

Media has the power to influence the way people perceive things, as of why, there is the term “media portrayal”. Prior works have attempted to investigate on media portrayal, particularly how women are depicted in the media. Hence, this study examined the media portrayal of female singers in Elvis Duran and The Morning Show. Descriptive qualitative method was applied in this study. The data was gathered from Elvis Duran and The Morning Show’s official YouTube channel, and three interviews with different female singers were chosen. The analysis was conducted using a critical discourse analysis approach, namely Three Dimensional Approach. In addition to that, this study focuses on the lexical choices used by the radio hosts when interviewing the female singers. The findings were further analyzed by referring to gender-related theories. Based on the results, it is evident that there are certain words that are oftentimes associated with female singers, some of which are “feeling”, “relationships”, and “breakup song”. These portrayals of female singers support genderlect theories that women tend to use language to express their feelings and build intimate relationships with others.

Abstract

This article explores the current state of asa and ede in the Yoruba language with a view of employing the library as a tool for the recovery of the lost glory. Some of the undermining factors working against the Yoruba language that were established in this study are globalization and westernization, urbanisation and migration, educational policies, socioeconomic pressures and the impact of colonial legacy. However, ‘libraries’ employed in a wide range of contexts, from digital libraries to physical public libraries play crucial roles in cultural heritage preservation through collection and preservation, digitization initiatives archiving, oral traditions education and literacy Programmes, community engagement and outreach research and scholarly support and leveraging technology. Some successful organizational, institutional and individual cultural preservation programmes were equally highlighted.

Abstract

This research discusses the use of technology in homeschooling and its impact on children’s learning processes. By adopting a literature review approach, we identify, evaluate, and synthesize current research findings related to technology-based homeschooling. This study outlines the benefits of technology as a source of information and a learning tool, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation, such as accessibility, parental technology skills, and data security. Additionally, we investigate the social and emotional impacts experienced by homeschooling students who utilize technology in their learning. Through a combination of systematic literature review and traditional review, this research aims to provide deeper insights into the potentials and challenges within homeschooling education, as well as recommendations for developing more effective homeschooling practices in the future.

Abstract

The era of digitalization and technological developments that accompany humans in this century have certainly resulted in various kinds of polemics in society, especially in religious communities, the threat of orthodoxy, radicalism and pluralism in the midst of the various religions embraced by humans and bridges between generations that are not yet connected to each other which results in the delivery of religious teachings among young people that they consider as old-fashioned teachings that do not follow the development of the times and seem monotonous. Therefore, it is important for religion to also follow the development of the times, especially the delivery that includes contemporary modernization in conveying religious teachings.

Abstract

This articles explain the Factors of Student Difficulty in Learning Arabic at MAN 1 Medan. This research is very important to carry out to find out the various factors that become obstacles for MAN 1 Medan students in learning Arabic and find solutions . This study uses a qualitative method . Research participants were students of MAN 1 Medan. Data collection methods and techniques were in the form of questionnaire distributed to students at MAN 1 Medan and interviews conducted with several students and teachers teaching Arabic subjects . The findings from this research show that students ' difficulties in learning Arabic is influenced by five factors consisting of internal and external factors, namely, first , the students ' lack of memorizing Arabic vocabulary . Second , the lack of student interest in learning Arabic . Third , students come from various different elementary school educational backgrounds . Fourth , the teacher factor , which can be seen from teaching methods that is less attractive and the abilities to manage the class that is not optimal. Fifth , environmental factors , for example the use of regional languages at home which is more dominant than Arabic.

Abstract

In the Islamic world in the Middle Ages (1250-1800 AD) ideas of renewal and efforts to purify the faith emerged. Which is a reaction to political conditions and ideology monotheism among the people Islam. On the peninsula Arabia, appear to on the historical stage of a prominent figure, Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhâb, who had great attention to the issue of purifying faith and reform in Islam. Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhab's full name is Abu 'Abd Allâh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Wahhâb ibn Sulaymân Abu 'Ali b. Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Rashid al-Tamimi He born in Nejd, a country Which located in heart field sand that is still pure in its Islam. History books generally reveal that he lived between 1703 and 1787 AD. In the character, knowledge, and life experiences of Muhammad ibn 'Abd al- Wahhâb collected potential For spark his ideas. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the educational program using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model to assess the career services provided by the Career Center at INSTIKI and to evaluate the effectiveness of these services. The effectiveness of career counseling services is measured by how well the program's objectives have been achieved. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytic method, applying the CIPP evaluation model to assess each component: Context, Input, Process, and Product in the implementation of the career counseling program. The data sources for this study are the Career Center and alumni of INSTIKI. Data collection techniques involved interviews and observations with the Career Center, while additional data were gathered through questionnaires and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using triangulation techniques. The research findings indicate that the implementation of career planning and evaluation, career development, graduate placement, tracer studies, language services, and language development have a positive impact on the career advancement of graduates.
