Abstract

Population growth and increased community mobility have contributed to high traffic density in Bekasi, which has also driven the growth of online transportation services such as online motorcycle taxis. Online motorcycle taxi drivers face various work demands, such as income targets, time pressure, and heavy traffic conditions, which can cause job stress and affect their driving behavior. The purpose of this study is to assess the links between job stress and aggressive driving in online motorcycle taxi drivers at the Bekasi Station  Shelter. This study was conducted using a quantitative, correlational design. The study respondents were 107 online motorcycle taxi drivers at the Gojek Shelter at Bekasi Station, selected using total sampling. The research instruments consisted modified of a job stress scale and aggressive driving scale. Data were analyzed using Spearman’s rho correlation. The results indicated a significant positive relationship between job stress and aggressive driving (r = 0.381; p < 0.05). This means that the higher the level of job stress experienced, the greater the tendency for drivers to engage in aggressive driving, and vice versa. These findings may serve as useful input for both companies and online motorcycle taxi drivers in developing strategies and policies to manage stress and ensure driving safety.

Abstract

Passenger density on commuter trains during peak hours creates conditions that may influence individuals' social behavior. Although time pressure and crowded environments have the potential to reduce prosocial behavior, some passengers continue to demonstrate helping behaviors toward others. One factor that is assumed to contribute to the development of prosocial behavior is individuals' tendency to conform to the social norms prevailing in their surroundings. This study aimed to examine whether conformity influences the prosocial behavior of commuter train passengers at Bekasi Station during peak hours. A quantitative approach was employed using a simple linear regression design. The participants consisted of 113 commuter train passengers at Bekasi Station selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a conformity scale and a prosocial behavior scale and were subsequently analyzed using SPSS version 25. The regression analysis indicated that conformity had a positive and significant effect on prosocial behavior (F = 12.387; p = 0.001). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.100) showed that conformity accounted for 10% of the variance in prosocial behavior. These findings suggest that higher levels of conformity to prevailing social norms are associated with a greater tendency to engage in prosocial behavior.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by obstacles in communication and social interaction as well as limited and repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, and activities. The success of intervention programs is greatly influenced by the involvement of parents as the child's main companion. This study aims to explore the experiences of parents in assisting intervention programs for children with ASD. The research uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological design. Three parents were selected through purposive sampling technique as participants. Data were obtained through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The results of the study showed five main themes, namely the initial emotional response to diagnosis and intervention, the form of parental involvement during the intervention process, the challenges faced, the adaptation strategies developed, and expectations for intervention services. Parents play an active role by implementing therapy exercises at home, establishing communication with professionals, and providing emotional support to children. However, time constraints, costs, emotional exhaustion, and lack of understanding of intervention techniques are obstacles. These findings confirm the importance of a family-centered approach through the collaboration of parents, therapists, educators, and other professionals to improve the effectiveness of interventions as well as child development.

Abstract

Religion teaches various virtues to its adherents, encouraging them to worship God consistently and avoid all prohibited actions. As modern life becomes increasingly demanding, many individuals, particularly university students involved in student organizations, tend to experience a decline in their enthusiasm for maintaining regular religious practices due to the numerous schedules and responsibilities they must fulfill. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of micro-secularization among students at Universitas Negeri Jakarta after participating in student organizations. The research employed a qualitative approach, with informants selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with five informants and supported by observations. The study was conducted from June 2025 in Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Data were analyzed using the interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that several Universitas Negeri Jakarta students involved in organizations have experienced changes in their worship practices, such as performing prayers individually rather than in congregation, postponing prayers and making them qada when necessary, or utilizing online platforms. Nevertheless, they reported continuing these religious practices because they have been deeply embedded in their lives since childhood, and they feel a sense of incompleteness when they neglect them. The primary reasons for these changes include demanding schedules, mental and physical fatigue, and the burden of balancing academic responsibilities with organizational commitments simultaneously.
