Abstract

The background of this research is to understand the curriculum development strategies of pesantren-based madrasahs at MTs Darussalam Ngoro, Jombang. Pesantren play a crucial role in Islamic education in Indonesia, yet integrating pesantren values with the formal curriculum remains challenging. This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies implemented in curriculum development at the madrasah and to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum in supporting both learning processes and character development of students. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, involving data collection through interviews with the head of the madrasah, the curriculum deputy, and teachers, as well as observations and analysis of madrasah documents such as the academic calendar and curriculum structure. Interviews are conducted in an unstructured format to gain in-depth information, while systematic observations are carried out to understand the dynamics of learning. Documentation is used to gather additional relevant data. The findings indicate that MTs Darussalam Ngoro has successfully integrated pesantren values into the formal curriculum, using strategies such as enhancing the teaching of traditional Islamic texts (kitab kuning), implementing Quran memorization programs (tahfidzul Quran), and developing pesantren-based extracurricular activities. This curriculum effectively supports both learning and character development, positively contributing to Islamic education in Indonesia, and may serve as a model for other pesantren-based madrasahs

Abstract

This article aims to explain the transformation of policy models and strategic planning in the education system which is studied theoretically based on the rules of writing scientific papers. The analysis method used in this article is a literature study and qualitative data analysis content regarding learning outcomes. The results of this study show that education policy is a product that is used as a guide for making educational decisions that are legal-neutral and moderately adjusted to the educational life environment. Meanwhile, strategic planning is the process carried out by an organization to determine a strategy or direction, as well as make decisions to allocate resources including capital and human resources. The model transformation of these two things includes institutional models, system models, investigation models, rational models, incremental models, policy analysis models, and public policy implementation approach models. The educational strategy planning models are divided into four, namely: Comprehensive planning model, Target Setting Model, Financing and cost-effectiveness model, PPBS (planning, programming, budgeting system) model

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of tazkiyatun nafs (purification of the soul) according to Imam Al-Ghazali and its relevance in the development of holistic character education in the era of disruption. This study uses a literature review method by analyzing relevant literature, such as books, scientific journals, and related articles. The results of the study show that the concept of tazkiyatun nafs has significant relevance in answering the challenges of character education in the era of disruption. Tazkiyatun nafs values, such as honesty, integrity, compassion, and concern for others, can be a solid foundation in shaping the character of students who have noble character, integrity, and have mental resilience in the face of rapid changes in the times. This study recommends the integration of tazkiyatun nafs values into the curriculum, the development of innovative learning methods, strengthening the role of teachers as role models, the involvement of parents and the community, and the wise use of technology in character education

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of administrative management in improving administrative services at MTs N 15 Jombang and identify supporting and inhibiting factors. The research uses qualitative methods with descriptive design. Data was collected through structured interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and verification techniques. The research results show that administrative management is carried out through planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up which involves assigning tasks according to expertise and improving performance through communication and motivation. Supporting factors include appropriate assignment of tasks and a harmonious work environment while inhibiting factors include a mismatch between tasks and skills and a less professional attitude.

Abstract

Islamic education ideology is a systemic concept based on the Koran, al-Hadith, and ijtihad which aims for the happiness of human life in this world and the hereafter. The curriculum includes material from religious studies (aqidah, syari’ah, and morals) as well as general subjects such as mathematics. The methods used are classical and modern methods. Meanwhile, conservative educational ideology places more emphasis on conventional teachings which assume that everything humans do is God's will. The curriculum places more emphasis on moral aspects and the methods used also tend to be conventional, such as lectures. This is different from the ideology of liberal education which prioritizes individual freedom to develop educational concepts. The curriculum places more emphasis on practical matters and the teaching methods are free to suit individual wishes

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of education quality assurance in improving PAI learning at MA At-tadzkir Kaliaren Grobogan. This research uses a type of descriptive qualitative research. Data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and document reviews. While data analysis is used, interactive analysis models include data reduction, data delivery, and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the quality mapping carried out by the madrasah to improve PAI learning, in general, has been carried out well. The preparation of quality fulfillment plans carried out by the madrasah is quite good. The implementation of quality fulfillment carried out by madrasah to improve PAI learning is quite good, meaning that 8 national standards of education have been fulfilled in the implementation of madrasah, namely fulfillment of content standards, fulfillment of process standards, fulfillment of graduate competency standards, fulfillment of standards of educators and educational personnel, fulfillment of standards of facilities and infrastructure, fulfillment of management standards, fulfillment of financing standards and fulfillment of educational assessment standards.  The quality evaluation/audit conducted by the madrasah to improve PAI learning is quite good, shown by the implementation of formative evaluation referring to process indicators, summative evaluation referring to indicators of output, outcome, and impact, and auditing the SNP fulfillment process according to a previously set plan

Abstract

This research has two main objectives, namely describing the implementation of the Nyadran tradition and analyzing its implications in preventing radicalism and intolerance in Sirkandi Village, Banjarnegara Regency. The Nyadran tradition is carried out before the month of Ramadan, precisely in the month of Sha'ban, and these activities take place in village cemeteries and local mosques. This tradition is the result of harmonious acculturation between Javanese culture and Islamic teachings. In its implementation, Nyadran involves various activities, such as visiting graves, praying together, cleaning graves, and sharing food, to strengthen social ties and maintain the values ??of togetherness in society. The implications of the Nyadran tradition are very significant, especially in maintaining social stability and preventing the emergence of radicalism and intolerance. By encouraging healthy and inclusive social interactions, Nyadran helps create a safe and harmonious environment. This tradition also strengthens the values ??of multiculturalism, contributing to the creation of social harmony not only at the local level but also more broadly, both at the national and global levels. Nyadran is not just a cultural ritual but also plays a vital role in building a tolerant and respectful society

Abstract

Learning motivation has a position that is quite urgent in supporting the success of the learning process. In general, the problems faced by students who study in two educational institutions such as the world and pesantren, in the case raised in the community service, are low motivation to learn and low time management. Learning activities using the Peer Teaching method turned out to make a positive contribution to improving achievement motivation among students of the Ar-Rohmah Grobogan Islamic Boarding School. Education that involves peers as supervisors and supervisors can also create a conducive and pleasant learning environment. However it is not without challenges at all. Mass media such as television and increasingly open internet access are problems that must be solved in the future so that the atmosphere of santri learning can be better conditioned

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of digital media in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Through literature analysis, this study found that digital media has great potential to improve the quality of Islamic Education learning. The use of technologies such as e-books, learning videos, interactive applications, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) can improve students' accessibility, interactivity, learning motivation, and digital competence. However, the research also identified several challenges, including technology infrastructure readiness, teacher competency, and safety and ethical aspects of technology use. To overcome these challenges, proposed solutions include strengthening technology infrastructure, improving teachers' digital competencies through continuous training, developing digital ethics policies and guidelines, and close supervision during learning. The findings of this study make an important contribution to the development of the theory and practice of Islamic religious education in the digital era and can serve as a reference for educators, policymakers, and researchers. Further research is needed to explore unreached aspects and assess the effectiveness of the proposed strategies

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the academic supervision program in improving teaching skills and teacher performance at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sangatta Utara. Using a quantitative approach and experimental design, the study involved 30 teachers as respondents, where 60% had less than 5 years of teaching experience, and 40% had more than 5 years of experience. Data were collected through standardized observation instruments and analyzed using t-test and regression analysis. The results showed a significant increase in teachers' teaching skills by 23.08% (from a score of 65 to 80) and teacher performance by 21.43% (from a score of 70 to 85) after the implementation of the supervision program. The statistical analysis produced a t-value of 5.67 with a p-value <0.05 and a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.62, indicating that 62% of the variation in teacher performance can be explained by the supervision program. The majority of teachers expressed high satisfaction with the supervision program in providing an understanding of learning objectives (85%), improving teaching skills (90%), providing constructive feedback (88%), encouraging creativity (87%), and increasing collaboration between teachers (80%). Factors supporting the effectiveness of supervision include the frequency of periodic supervision, collaborative supervision methods, school management support, and teacher self-reflection. This study has important implications for the development of an adaptive supervision model for vocational education and can be an empirical reference for similar educational institutions in designing effective and sustainable teacher professionalism improvement programs
