Abstract

Animated films are part of literary works with a form of postmodern fiction. It is shown that animated films fulfill the requirements as literary works, which are fictitious, medium in language, and aesthetic. As a literary work, animated films have similar structures, such as characters, characterizations, settings, and plot. The problem of this study is what is comparion of colonialism trace between Isao Takahata Hotaru no Haka and Shigemichi Sugita Joppani no Shima. The purpose of this study is to compare the traces of American and Russian colonialism in both animated films by looking at their elements such as hybridity and mimicry. The research method that will be used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive research is research that aims to provide (describe) a condition or phenomenon that exists as it is. The shift in the meaning of "war" is shown from the transformation of the first film to the second film. The thing that needs to be raised is that the second film wants to restore the spirit of Japanese society. The identity of the Japanese people who easily rise from adversity is explored again. Another thing is a form of diplomacy with the Russian state. This is considering that Japan and Russia are two countries side by side. The film Jopanni no Shima wants to be a medium for the relationship between the two countries.

Abstract

Music is a branch of art that utilizes sound or sound carriers to convey the works it produces. Although it may appear limited to vibrations or sounds, in reality, the art of music is closely related to human thoughts and emotions. Music has an artistic nature, where the definition of artistic in music is a product of thought transmitted through elements of vibration in the form of frequencies processed by the nerves in the mind into different components. These elements include sound, tone, melody, and pitch.Music encompasses a wide variety of streams or genres, each with its unique characteristics and cultural significance. One notable genre is Dangdut, which is an adaptation of the Malay music stream that has developed rapidly in Indonesia over time. Dangdut has become a significant part of Indonesian culture, often characterized by its rhythmic and melodious elements that appeal to a broad audience. The genre integrates traditional musical instruments with modern sounds, creating a distinctive and captivating style. From a semiotic study perspective, music is rich with signs and symbols that can be analyzed and interpreted. Semiotics, the study of signs and symbols and their use or interpretation, allows us to understand how music can convey meanings and emotions beyond the mere sounds. In society, music can influence various aspects of life, including cultural identity, social interactions, and personal expression. This research focuses on the semiotic analysis of Dangdut music, particularly its presence in Japanese-language songs. The study aims to explore how Dangdut elements are incorporated into these songs and how they convey elements of cheerfulness and joy. By examining the signs and symbols in the music, we can gain insights into how cultural elements are blended and how music serves as a medium for cross-cultural communication.Furthermore, this research highlights the role of music in society, emphasizing its power to bring people together and bridge cultural gaps. Dangdut music, with its lively and engaging rhythm, serves as an example of how music can transcend cultural boundaries and resonate with people from different backgrounds. Through this study, we aim to contribute to a deeper understanding of the cultural significance of music and its impact on human emotions and social interactions.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze effective learning strategies in improving the quality of the early childhood learning process at Al Azhar 43 Gorontalo Islamic Kindergarten. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with observation techniques to explore learning practices implemented by teachers in the classroom. The results show that the learning strategies applied are based on Islamic values and integrated thematic approaches, such as worship habituation, role play, Islamic storytelling, and Project-Based Learning. These strategies not only increase children's learning motivation, but also build character, social skills, and understanding of moral and religious values. However, there are limitations in the variety of learning models and the sustainability of the projects implemented. This study recommends the development of alternative strategies such as Beyond Centers and Circle Time (BCCT) and active story repetition to improve the stimulation of children's overall development. The findings are expected to serve as a reference in designing more effective and meaningful ECD learning.

Abstract

Children with Special Needs (ABK) require different attention, approaches, and educational strategies compared to children in general. In the process of ABK education, the role of parents is an important factor that influences the success of learning and child development. This article aims to examine the role of parents in dealing with and accompanying children with special needs during their education at school. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of several ABK parents. The results of the study indicate that parents have a role as companions, motivators, facilitators, and partners in collaboration with the school. In addition, the challenges faced by parents include lack of information about inclusive education, economic limitations, and psychological burdens. These findings emphasize the importance of support from schools and the government, such as counseling, training, and access to special services, to empower parents in optimally accompanying the education of ABK children.

Abstract

Teachers play a pivotal role in shaping the character of early childhood through directed and loving education. At this critical developmental stage, foundational values such as honesty, responsibility, empathy, and discipline begin to form. Teachers serve not only as educators but also as role models who exemplify positive behavior. Through daily interactions, teachers help children understand social norms, manage emotions, and build healthy relationships with peers and the environment. Character education is often delivered through play, storytelling, or engaging group discussions, making moral values accessible and understandable for children. Teachers also create a supportive learning environment where children feel safe to explore, learn, and interact, fostering self-confidence and resilience.

Abstract

The development of physical motor skills in early childhood is an important foundation that supports learning readiness, optimal growth, and the ability to adapt to the environment. This study aims to identify and analyze factors that influence the development of motor skills in early childhood through the implementation of project-based learning (PBL) in the school environment. Furthermore, this study evaluates the effectiveness of the PBL approach in improving gross and fine motor skills. The study method is based on a descriptive analysis of the implementation of projects designed by considering the relevance of activities, the level of challenge, and suitability to children's developmental abilities. The results show that project-based learning is proven to strengthen children's motor skills, especially when project activities involve physical exploration, problem solving, and the use of concrete media. Competent teacher support in designing and facilitating PBL activities is a key factor in the program's success. In addition, the availability of diverse and safe learning materials contributes significantly to sustainable motor stimulation. Overall, the PBL approach is considered effective in supporting the physical motor development of early childhood and can be adopted as an innovative, child-centered learning strategy.

Abstract

The intensity of parental learning assistance refers to how deeply parents are involved in accompanying the child's learning process according to their age, so that all aspects of child development can develop optimally. This study aims to analyze the influence of parental assistance in the classroom on early childhood emotional development. Early childhood, namely children aged 0–6 years, is in a very rapid period of development, which is often referred to as the golden age. This period illustrates how quickly early childhood develops in all aspects of life. In this phase, children need consistent guidance, a stable emotional presence, and positive stimulation from their immediate environment, especially parents. Assistance that is carried out intensely and according to the needs of children is believed to be able to form a sense of security, improve emotional regulation skills, and encourage children to express their feelings in a healthy way. In addition, parental involvement in the classroom not only supports the formal learning process, but also strengthens parent-child relationships so as to increase children's confidence and social readiness in interacting with peers. This approach is expected to provide a strong emotional foundation for the child's development at the next stage.
