Abstract

Globalisation era is surely passed on and to lead the people of the world into social interactive one another and also economical competitiveness. How far is DKI Jakarta Government preparing to be up against the global competitiveness in the frame-work to manifest improving the standard of living like advanced of society. There are some of indicators to be used as well as criterion to measure an achievement level of effort to be advanced of society, i.e infrastructure which needed by entrepreneur like : permission, taxation, laboract, traffic road, customs and harbor, publics infrastructure servicing, landuse, security condition, business financial access, and business environment condition. It was the research analysis be done by using data gathering from entrepreneur opinion at the operational area. The aim of research analysis is to measure how level of each indicator value has DKI Jakarta Government prepared to be up against the global competitiveness ? The research conclusion says that : DKI Jakarta Government has well enough prepared to be up against the global competitiveness. The weakness indicator is just taxation because its category included in bad (goodless) while the other indicators are well enough. The measuring parameters due to weakness taxationare time necessity for servicing to arrange tax, amount and various of region retribution, amount and various of region tax, and clarity of tax arrangement prucedure.

Abstract

Mini tuber production aspropagulcultivars of potato (Solanumtuberusum L.) Granola, Atlantic and Cipanaswasdone in Kebun Percobaan Sub Balai Penelitian Hortikultura Cipanas for 4 months with 3 times replications. The design used is a Random Design Group (RAK) with two factors, namely the cultivar (Granola, Atlantik and Cipanas) as the first factor and volume pots, namely 43cm3, 86cm3, 11 cm3 and 134cm3 as the second factor. A total of 12 treatment combinations with the experimental unit consisted of 20 plants with four blocks. The variables observed include high plant, the number ofbook, number of tubers/plant, diameter bulbs, wet and dry weight of tuber, wet and dry weight of tuber/plant, was the amount of standard A bulbs (< 1.0 g/tuber), standard B (1.0– 10.0 g/tuber) and standard C (more than 10.0 g/tuber). Observation on vegetative variables is done every week since the second week up to eight weeks, while the independent harvesting is done at 10 MST. Mini tuber production experiment, cultivars and volume pot has no effect on the number of books and plant potatoes.Interactionbetween cultivars with the volume potaffectvariables the number of tubers/plant.Numberof bulbs are correlated positively with tuber standard B on all three cultivars, the number ofstandarsB/plant are obtained in combination treatment of cultivar Atlantic in volume pot 134cm3.Interactionbetween cultivars with the volume pot affects the weight of wet bulbs/plant. Wet weight/tuber crop cultivar Cipanas in volume pot 43cm3 and 86cm3 weights the same, whereas on the volume pot 134cm3 weight wet bulb cultivar Atlantik is the hardest. From the result concluded that cultivars Granola, Atlantik and Cipanasdeliversresults in accordance with the benefits and usefulness infullfieldthe need for potatoes for the people in Indonesia.Keywords : mini tuber, potato, Granola, Atlantik, Cipanas

Abstract

The growth responces of potato explant (var. Atlantic), under different temperatures (100C) between photoperiod and dark period air temperatures in culture room, in high intensity of light (7000 lux) and low intensity of light (3000 lux), cultured in 18 h light/dark cycle and incubated for 21 and 28 days wasobserved. The result shown that photoautotroph condition influence the explant growth to be planlet. After 28 days incubation the planlets growth better than in 21 days. Its because the photosynthesis process during 28 days incubation were more effective than in 21 days incubation. The dry weight per planlet, number of leaves, leaf area and dry weight per leaf were enhanced in photoautotroph condition with 7000 lux light intensity in all treatments. In 3000 lux light intensity, the high planlet with small diameter was performanced. The study indicates that the photoautotroph condition affect further growth of the in vitro potato planlet.

Abstract

Fluctuation of quantity and quality of forage for ruminant animal is a problem of forage availability in Indonesia. Cover crop under oil palm plantation is potential sources of forage for ruminants but it has not been used effectively. This study was conducted to evaluate nutrients quality and estimated energy available of cover crop in dry season in Pelalawan regency, Riau. Seven years old oil palm plantation was plotted by randomized destructive sampling method. Nutrients composition include proximate, modified van soest fraction and protein association with cell wall (NDICP or ADICP) were analyzed for nutrient quality of cover crop. In vitro true dry matter digestibility (IVTDMD) and estimated energy available in cover crop were calculated from in vitro batch culture daisyII Ankom method. The result showed that cover crop is fresh forage energy feed because it contains more than 40% BK of TDN. Limited nutrient quality of cover crop is high contains of Lignin (22.4%BK). Value of IVTDMD of cover crop is 568.41 g/Kg DM with NDF digestibility 21.05% DM. In conclusion, cover crop under 7 years old oil palm plantation had enough nutrients quality for ruminant but it would be better for complete the data in wet season.Fluktuasi jumlah dan kualitas pakan hijauan untuk ternak ruminanasia adalah salah satu permasalahan penyediaannya di Indonesia. Covercrop kebun sawit merupakan sumber potensial pakan hijauan ternak ruminansia tetapi belum dimanfaatakan secara efektif. Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengevaluasi kualitas nutrisi dan ketersediaan energy dalam pakan cover crop kebun sawit pada musim kemarau di kabupaten Pelalawan, Riau. Metode yang digunakan adalah destructive sampling method secara acak. Komposisi nutrisi proksimat, fraksi serat van soest termodifikasi, dan kandungan protein yang terasosiasi dalam dinding sel tanaman (NDICP atau ADICP) di analisis sebagai parameter kualitas nutrisi covercrop. Nilai kecernaan nyata bahan kering/ in vitro true dry matter digestibility (IVTDMD) dan estimasi energi yang tersedia didalam covercrop di hitung dari inkubasi covercrop dalam incubator DaisyII teknologi Ankom selama 30 jam. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa cover crop termasuk dalam pakan hijauan segar sumber energi karena kandungan TDN lebih dari 40%. Pembatas nutrisi pada cover crop adalah kandungan lignin yang besar (22.4% BK). Nilai IVTDMD dan kecernaan NDF cover crop sebesar 568.41 g/Kg BK dan 21.05% Kesimpulannya adalah cover crop kebun sawit umur 7 tahun mempunyai potensi sebagai pakan hijauan ruminansia dengan kualitas nutrisi yang baik tetapi juga memerlukan data kualitas nutrisinya pada musim hujan.Keywords: Nutrient quality, In vitro true dry matter digestibility (IVTDMD), cover crop, oil palm plantation, ruminants.

Abstract

The objective of this reseach was evaluated the Resistance of four Hot pepper to antracnose on pre harvested and (2) evaluated the best method to needed inoculated of the resistance antracnose and (3) to findthe superior genotipe of resistance antracnose. The research was conducted in the Greenhouse of the Departement of agronomy and Laboratory of the Departement of Plant Pest and Disease, Faculty of Agriculture, Bogor Agriculture University, until 12 mount. Resistance evaluation evaluation on pre-harvesting fruits was done in the Greenhouse with “spray” inoculation method of 106 spore/ml Colletotrichum gloeosporioides suspension at flowering stage and fruit-set stage. The research were set in a Factorial and Completely Randomized Design with four replication and five plants per experimental unit. The genotipes evaluated were UPM, Tit Super, Yogya and Jatilaba. Observations were done on disease sevarity, disease incidence and percentage fruit damage. The results showed that resistance level of all genotypes were lower when inoculated at fruit-set stage compared to at flowering stage. The best method of evaluation for resistance to antracnose on hot pepper was the Greenhouse test inoculation at fruit-set stage with variable of disease incidence. All genotipes tested were considered very susceptible to Colletotrichum gloeosporioides (Antracnose).

Abstract

Involving small and medium enterprise (SME) to supply or become partner of big scale industries by outsourcing mechanism can increase both’s performance.It can increase the quality of products since they can focus on their specific activity. It can be realized if both of them located nearby or in the same industrial estate. The main problems are barrier to entry and the difficulty to fulfill the standard. There is barrier to entry for SME to become partner of big scale industries and to move into industrial estate since more expensive cost to operate in there. This paper assessed SME’s possibility to move into industrial estate and also how to optimize the outsourcing area in industrial estate, using SWOT, location theory, BCR, and policy analysis. The results are scenario, policy and strategies to enable SME move into the outsourcing area and how to optimize the outsourcing areadevelopment.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country having a big biomass potential. This is proven by the fact tahat experts from many developed countries have visited Indonesia to explore and to utilize biomass waste. Utilizing biomass waste as a substitute for fossil fuel is one of the valuable opportunity to implement CDM project for energy sector in agro industry in Indonesia. In this paper eight kinds of biomass wastes potential in Indonesia were theoretically analyzed, then the results were compared with real condition of the biomass waste in sites. Several sites were explored to investigate eight kinds of biomass waste.The utilization and availability of those biomass waste potential as a fuel for power generation in recent conditon is discussed and then the opportunity level for utilization of the biomass wastes is qualitatively described in this paper.

Abstract

The study was carried out to observe the influence of semen collectiontime toward the copulation behavior and the movement of massspermatozoa of garut rams. The semen of seven Garut rams wascollected twice a week. It indicates that the difference of semen collectiontime causes the difference of air temperature. The semen collected at6:00 am showed better mass sperm movement than at 12:00. Thesemen collected at 06:00 am; 9:00 am and 12.00 am did not show anyeffect toward the preejaculation copulation behavior. Otherwise thesemen collected at 06:00 am delivered longer intromisi period than at12:00 am.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that contains by some large islands and thousand small islands. It means a communication very important. Increasing in the market demand, especially communication serves make some vendor to produce aninstrument called Base Transceiver Station (BTS). BTS is very important in network telecommunication because it connect telecommunication operator with its costumers. But the problem to operate BTS in far region is electrical power supply. For handling its problem is by using BTS with SESF, or often called Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya Fotovoltaik (PLTS Photovoltaic), where it claimed need less energy. Because it took a lot cost for photovoltaic instrument, this paper will descript how to design hybrid system, a union of photovoltaic and diesel.

Abstract

Bencana lahan di kawasan budidaya di lereng Gunung Sindoro dan Sumbing sering dipicu oleh kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan pola budidaya tanaman pangan/hortikultura monokultur (single commodity). Dalam rangka mitigasi bencana lahan perlu dilakukan kajian alternative dan pola budidaya yang sesuai baik dari segi lingkungan biofisik lahan, ekonomi dan sosial budaya masyarakat. Metoda yang digunakan untuk kajian ini yaitu dengan metoda skoring dan pembobotan. Parameter-parameter yang dipertimbangkan meliputi aspek luas lahan yang sesuai (20 %), aspek budidaya dan pengelolaan (20 %), aspek produksi (10 %), aspek keberadaan komoditas (5 %), aspek konservasi (15 %), aspek pola budidaya (15 %), dan aspek pasar (15 %). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tanaman keras (hutan) menempati skor tertinggi, baru kemudian berturut tanaman perkebunan, hortikultura dan tanaman pangan. Rekomendasi dari hasil analisis ini adalah untuk membuat pola budidaya dengan memadukan tanaman strata tinggi (tanaman keras) dengan tanaman strata menengah (perkebunan) dan tanaman strata rendah (hortikultura/pangan).
