Abstract

General Background: Language attitudes developed in early childhood are foundational to social integration and identity formation. Specific Background: In culturally rich regions like Aceh, local values are often underrepresented in formal early childhood education. Knowledge Gap: Limited research explores the pedagogical impact of integrating Acehnese culture into language development strategies for young learners.Aims: This study aims to examine the effectiveness of a fusion culture-based learning model in improving language attitudes among early childhood students through the integration of Acehnese cultural elements.Results: Using a case study approach with data gathered via observation, interviews, and document analysis, the study found that embedding traditional games, regional songs, and folklore into thematic lessons significantly enhanced students’ ability to greet, thank, request permission, and interact politely. Novelty: The pedagogical innovation lies in the contextualization of early childhood learning through a fusion of traditional Acehnese cultural expressions and modern educational techniques. Implications: These findings demonstrate that local culture-based learning not only nurtures positive language attitudes but also strengthens cultural identity from an early age, offering a replicable model for culturally responsive early childhood education. Abstract

General Background: The cultivation of moral and religious values is a critical component of early education, particularly in faith-based institutions. Specific Background: Muhammadiyah Elementary School 13 Makam Bergola emphasizes religious habituation as part of its character education agenda. Knowledge Gap: However, limited studies have examined how structured school programs integrate with home environments to sustain value-based education. Aims: This study aims to explore the implementation and effectiveness of moral and religious value habituation at the school through a descriptive qualitative approach involving interviews with teachers, students, and parents. Results: Findings reveal that six core indicators—religious habituation, worship practices, praying, polite behavior, positive conduct, and greeting etiquette—are effectively embedded in daily school routines through strategies such as routine programming, teacher modeling, and reward systems. Novelty: The study highlights the innovative integration of parenting education and home-school collaboration to address the inconsistency of value practice between school and home environments.Implications: These results underscore the necessity of a holistic, school-family partnership model for sustainable moral and religious development in elementary education. Abstract

General Background: The quality of education fundamentally hinges on teacher performance, as educators are central to the learning process. Specific Background: Despite widespread acknowledgment of their significance, systemic efforts to enhance teacher effectiveness remain fragmented. Knowledge Gap: There is limited integrative analysis that systematically categorizes the full spectrum of internal and external factors influencing teacher performance. Aims: This study aims to identify and categorize the key determinants that shape teacher performance using descriptive analysis of empirical data. Results: Five primary factors emerged: personal characteristics, systemic structures, team collaboration, leadership, and contextual influences. Emotional stability was the most critical personal trait, while organizational systems and teamwork directly impacted task performance and student outcomes. Leadership supported ethical professionalism, and unaddressed contextual pressures risked performance decline. Novelty: The study’s novelty lies in its multidimensional synthesis of performance drivers, emphasizing the interplay between internal traits and external systems. Implications: Findings advocate for holistic educational policies that concurrently strengthen individual, structural, and contextual supports to sustainably elevate teaching quality. Highlights: Emotional stability is the most influential personal trait. School systems and teamwork enhance performance quality. Contextual pressure must be managed to avoid performance decline. Abstract

General Background: The rapid development of digital technology, particularly blockchain, has transformed the financial sector by enhancing transaction security and transparency. Specific Background: However, in Indonesia, this advancement faces significant challenges, especially in curbing illegal activities such as online gambling, which infiltrate banking systems, including sharia banks. Knowledge Gap: Despite existing sharia supervisory mechanisms, online gambling transactions still manage to bypass detection in some cases, raising concerns about the effectiveness of current monitoring systems. Aims: This study investigates the implementation of blockchain technology at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) KC Binjai to enhance transaction supervision and prevent unlawful fund flows while maintaining sharia compliance. Results: Using a qualitative descriptive-explorative approach, findings reveal that blockchain has improved real-time monitoring, transparency, and the ability to detect and block suspicious transactions, particularly those linked to online gambling. Novelty: The integration of blockchain with smart contracts, coupled with collaboration among sharia supervisory boards and financial regulators, presents a new systemic approach to reinforcing Islamic banking integrity. Implications: The study highlights the strategic value of blockchain in safeguarding sharia financial systems and offers a replicable model for other Islamic banks to enhance compliance and counter financial crimes.Highlight : Blockchain improves real-time detection and blocking of suspicious transactions, including online gambling. Abstract

General Background: Capital markets are widely recognized as critical drivers of economic growth through efficient resource allocation and investment mobilization. Specific Background: In Indonesia, the extent to which capital markets contribute to growth may be contingent on the inclusiveness of the financial system.Knowledge Gap: However, limited research systematically explores the mediating role of financial inclusion in this relationship within the Indonesian context. Aims: This study conducts a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to evaluate existing literature on the interconnection between capital markets, financial inclusion, and economic growth, with particular attention to financial inclusion as a mediating factor. Results: The synthesis reveals that capital markets can significantly influence economic growth, but their effectiveness is moderated by the depth and accessibility of financial inclusion. Novelty: This review highlights the dual importance of market development and inclusive access to financial services, offering a nuanced understanding of how capital markets can equitably support national growth. Abstract

Background: International tourism has undergone profound changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic, significantly affecting global and regional travel flows. Specific Background: Uzbekistan, with its rich cultural heritage and strategic location, has seen evolving patterns in tourism development, especially in the post-pandemic context. Knowledge Gap: Despite the global attention to tourism recovery, limited studies have focused on Uzbekistan's unique trajectory and adaptive strategies in this period. Aims: This study aims to analyze the trends and prospects of international tourism in Uzbekistan from 2012 to 2023, with an emphasis on post-pandemic structural transformations. Results: The findings reveal that digitalization, sustainable practices, and personalized travel have become central to the sector's revival. Abstract

Background: Mathematics learning in elementary schools often faces challenges in fostering student interest and understanding due to abstract concepts and lack of contextualization. Specific Background: Traditional classroom methods may limit engagement, leading to passive learning and superficial comprehension. Knowledge Gap: There is limited research exploring the systematic integration of Outdoor Learning as a strategy to enhance mathematical understanding at the elementary level. Aim: This study aims to examine the implementation of Outdoor Learning in mathematics education and its effects on elementary students’ interest and conceptual understanding. Results: The findings reveal that Outdoor Learning significantly enhances students’ learning interest and deepens mathematical understanding by providing active, hands-on, and contextual experiences. Students engage more meaningfully when mathematical concepts are connected to real-life contexts through outdoor activities. Novelty: This study presents an in-depth case study approach in exploring how Outdoor Learning promotes meaningful learning in mathematics, filling a gap in current educational research. Abstract

Background: Tax avoidance remains a critical concern in fiscal policy, as taxpayers seek to minimize tax obligations through strategies that often comply with legal frameworks.Specific Background: Among these strategies, transfer pricing, capital intensity, leverage, and liquidity are frequently cited as potential determinants, though empirical findings remain mixed. Knowledge Gap: Prior research has yet to fully explore the moderating role of firm size in the relationship between these variables and tax avoidance.Aim: This study investigates the influence of transfer pricing, leverage, liquidity, and capital intensity on tax avoidance, with firm size as a moderating variable. Results: Findings reveal that leverage and liquidity significantly affect tax avoidance, while transfer pricing and capital intensity show no direct effect. Firm size moderates the effect of transfer pricing, liquidity, and capital intensity on tax avoidance, but not the effect of leverage. Novelty: The integration of firm size as a moderator offers new insights into the conditional impact of financial and operational factors on tax avoidance behavior. Implications: These results contribute to the literature by highlighting firm-specific characteristics in tax planning strategies and can inform regulatory policy to better address aggressive tax practices. Abstract

General Background: Poetic language has long functioned as a distinctive form of artistic and emotional communication. Specific Background: Despite a detailed understanding of poetic techniques, there remains limited clarity about how these elements function as mechanisms of communication and artistic evolution. Knowledge Gap: Existing studies often overlook the specific communicative structures and socio-aesthetic functions that enable poetry to mediate individual and collective experiences. Aims: This study investigates the expressive language of poetry as a communicative tool, analyzing how metaphor, symbolism, sound, rhythm, and ambiguity shape artistic discourse. Results: Through interdisciplinary methods combining literary theory, linguistics, and cultural criticism, the study demonstrates that poetry communicates multilayered meanings—emotional, intellectual, and political—beyond what practical language can convey. Abstract

General Background: Managing spare parts inventory is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency in manufacturing industries. Specific Background: PT ABC experienced overstocking of steel plate materials, causing increased storage costs and exceeding warehouse capacity. Knowledge Gap: Current company methods lack optimization under space constraints, leading to inefficiencies. Aims: This study aims to determine the optimal order quantity that minimizes total inventory costs while considering warehouse space limitations. Method: The Lagrange Multiplier approach was applied to optimize inventory levels under capacity constraints, using data on demand, ordering and holding costs, and storage volume. Results: The proposed method reduced total inventory costs to Rp46,259,547, compared to Rp185,458,780 using the company’s approach, achieving a 75.05% reduction. Novelty: Unlike standard EOQ-based systems, this study integrates Lagrange Multipliers to handle physical constraints, producing feasible and cost-effective solutions. Implications: Implementing this approach in similar manufacturing contexts can significantly reduce storage costs and prevent inefficiencies caused by overstocking.Highlights: Lagrange Multiplier reduced inventory costs by over 75%. Optimal inventory levels aligned with warehouse limits. Forecasting enhanced ordering precision for future cycles.
