Abstract

General Background: Democratic education serves as a fundamental pillar in shaping the character, moral values, and civic competence required for active participation in a democratic society. Specific Background: Within the Indonesian context, Civics Education (PKn) in elementary schools acts as a strategic vehicle for internalizing these democratic principles, which are increasingly vital yet challenged by the complexities of the digital era. Knowledge Gap: Existing literature often focuses on specific learning models without comprehensively integrating democratic values, digital literacy, and digital citizenship into a unified framework for elementary-level students. Aims: This study aimed to analyze the concepts, implementation, challenges, and strengthening strategies for democratic education in primary Civics learning through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) covering publications from 2020 to 2026. Results: The findings reveal that integrating democratic values with digital literacy, collaborative learning, and project-based approaches significantly improves students’ critical thinking, responsibility, and decision-making skills, despite ongoing constraints related to educator digital competence and facility limitations. Novelty: This study provides a comprehensive synthesis that links democratic education, digital literacy, and digital citizenship specifically for primary education, offering an integrated conceptual framework for the 21st century. Implications: Educators and policymakers are encouraged to adopt innovative, technology-integrated pedagogical practices that foster well-characterized, critical, and responsible young digital citizens. Highlights Systematic synthesis confirms that participatory and project-based learning are essential for internalizing democratic attitudes in primary education. Digital literacy and responsible technology use are critical components for modern civic engagement and character development. Teacher digital competence and infrastructure gaps remain the primary barriers to effectively implementing technology-based civic learning. Abstract

General Background: Inclusive sports support social interaction, communication, attention, and emotional development in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Specific Background: Basketball requires trainers to adapt communication to diverse attention spans, emotions, and abilities. Knowledge Gap: Limited studies explain interpersonal communication strategies in mixed-group training for children with developmental conditions. Aims: This study analyzes interpersonal strategies and communication barriers during inclusive basketball training. Results: A descriptive qualitative study involved five informants (one head trainer, two assistants, and two parents) using interviews, observation, documentation, and literature review. Data were analyzed with the Miles and Huberman model and triangulation. Four strategies emerged: building rapport, providing motivation, adjusting targets fairly, and repeating instructions. Verbal communication was supported by gestures, demonstrations, eye contact, positive expressions, rewards, and light physical contact. Barriers included mood changes, limited attention, restricted eye contact, communication differences, trainer-student ratios, and trainer experience. Novelty: The study combines relational, motivational, equitable, and repetitive communication strategies in inclusive sports. Implications: Sports academies should provide specialized communication training and strengthen family coordination to support participation and learning continuity. Highlights: Four interpersonal strategies combined rapport, motivation, equitable treatment, plus recurring instruction. Gestures, demonstrations, eye contact, rewards, plus positive reinforcement supplemented verbal messages. Varying attention, mood, communication ability, staffing ratios, plus trainer experience formed principal barriers. Abstract

General Background Elementary education serves as a fundamental phase for character formation, yet many schools face severe challenges with aggressive behaviors among young learners. Specific Background At SDIT Al-Fadiyah in Gowa Regency, lower elementary students demonstrate limited social awareness and emotional regulation, frequently engaging in unrecognized aggressive actions during daily peer interactions. Knowledge Gap Despite the critical need for contextual moral education, current pedagogical practices predominantly rely on conventional lecture methods and lack interactive digital materials tailored to instil early social awareness. Aims This study develops a valid, practical, and functional digital tool integrating the Just and Civilized Humanity principle to advance academic achievement and social understanding among second-grade cohorts. Results Utilizing the ADDIE research and development model with 25 participants, the developed digital framework achieved exceptional validity and practicality ratings exceeding 96 percent across all expert assessments. Following implementation, cognitive test scores advanced from 78.12 to 95.00, and observational metrics progressed from 73.75 percent to 96.50 percent, supported by a significant Wilcoxon test result and a high N-Gain coefficient. Novelty This research distinctly integrates foundational civic principles into an interactive digital framework to specifically address early childhood aggression and cultivate structured prosocial development. Implications Educational institutions should adopt these contextual digital tools within civic curricula to sustainably foster inclusive, safe, and respectful school environments. Highlights Digital civic learning materials demonstrate exceptional validity and instructional practicality across expert evaluations. Integrating moral values significantly elevates cognitive achievement scores in early childhood education. Contextual multimedia simulations successfully promote prosocial behavior and emotional regulation among young learners. Abstract

General Background Digital transformation actively drives the Islamic financial sector to adopt advanced online marketing strategies. Specific Background Customer relationship management and social media platforms function as essential interactive communication channels that build consumer trust alongside business sustainability. Knowledge Gap Previous literature frequently examines relational strategies and digital networks in isolation, leaving their combined mechanisms on buyer retention relatively underexplored. Aims This quantitative study evaluates how customer relationship management and social media determine client loyalty, positioning consumer gratification as a mediating variable within Sharia institutions. Results Data collected from 214 qualified customers in Batam City and analyzed via SmartPLS 4 reveal that relational frameworks and digital networking positively dictate user satisfaction and devotion. Furthermore, customer satisfaction actively mediates the structural linkage connecting these interactive channels to long-term buyer retention. Novelty This research integrates relational management and digital operations into a unified structural model, specifically localized for the Batam City demographic. Implications Financial institutions must continuously deploy transparent digital services and responsive communication to sustain long-term client devotion in competitive markets. Abstract

General Background The uneven territorial distribution of primary care facilities creates structural barriers to equitable public access. Specific Background Bungo Regency faces geographical challenges across its vast territory of 4,769.60 km², resulting in unequal accessibility to its 19 medical facilities. Knowledge Gap While prior research explored mobile-based applications, a systematic geographical evaluation using standardized analytical methods remains absent for this region. Aims This study evaluates the geographical reach of 19 medical facilities across 17 sub-districts utilizing QGIS software to plan equitable service distribution. Results Applying a uniform 5 km radius, findings reveal that only 25.2% of the total regency area falls within the service range. Among the 17 sub-districts, three are fully reached, and fourteen are partially reached, with Limbur Lubuk Mengkuang and Bathin III Ulu recording the lowest accessibility at 9.0% and 10.9%, respectively. Novelty The research utilizes a homogeneous comparative Euclidean distance approach without urban-rural classification to uncover precise regional distribution disparities. Implications These findings provide foundational evidence for urgent policy interventions, specifically the development of auxiliary posts and mobile programs in critically underserved sub-districts to achieve regional equity. General Background Language serves as a crucial pragmatic tool for human communication and societal interaction. Specific Background Expressive utterances specifically function to communicate a speaker's psychological attitude toward various daily situations. Knowledge Gap While previous pragmatic studies extensively explore language in formal contexts, media, and literature, natural conversational dynamics within rural communities remain largely undocumented. Aims This qualitative descriptive study aims to describe the forms and functions of expressive speech acts within everyday community conversations in Tulo Village. Results Observational and conversational data analysis reveals five primary forms of psychological expressions: thanking, congratulating, apologizing, blaming, and praising. The dominant occurrence of apologizing signifies a community characterized by active efforts to preserve societal relationships and resolve communication discomfort. Functional applications include expressing gratitude, offering appreciation, conveying regret, and delivering constructive criticism. Novelty This research provides distinct empirical documentation of localized pragmatic characteristics in Tulo Village, shifting the analytical focus from formal discourse to authentic rural interactions. Implications These findings demonstrate the critical role of linguistic politeness in maintaining relationship cohesion, offering a foundational reference for understanding culturally responsive pragmatic frameworks. Highlights The pragmatic analysis identifies apologizing as the most dominant linguistic behavior. Residents frequently utilize thanking, congratulating, praising, and blaming to convey psychological attitudes. General Background Indonesian language education is fundamental for developing communication and literacy skills within the national curriculum. Specific Background However, fifth-grade students at SDN Doda currently exhibit low attention, involvement, and enthusiasm during instruction, largely due to teacher-centered conventional methods. Knowledge Gap While cooperative pedagogical approaches are widely recognized, specific evidence regarding the application of collaborative frameworks utilizing audiovisual media to address low student engagement in elementary subjects remains limited. Aims This study investigates the application of a targeted collaborative model on student engagement in fifth-grade subjects at SDN Doda. Results Utilizing a Pre-Experimental One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with 16 pupils, the analysis revealed a statistically significant difference (Sig. 2-tailed of 0.002 < 0.05), with the mean score rising from 42.25 to 47.06. Novelty This research demonstrates the specific utility of combining a structured interactive syntax with targeted audiovisual stimulus to actively engage elementary pupils in intrinsic story elements. Implications These findings suggest that providing structured opportunities for independent thought, paired discussion, and public sharing serves as a highly supportive alternative pedagogical strategy for fostering active classroom participation and sustained engagement. Highlights Pre-test and post-test assessments of fifth-graders revealed a statistically significant score progression from 42.25 to 47.06. The applied pedagogical strategy successfully stimulated active classroom participation during intrinsic story element lessons. Abstract

General Background Learning instructional tools serve as crucial technological bridges for delivering educational content and stimulating student engagement in the modern digital era. Specific Background However, third-grade pupils at SDN Donggala Kodi currently demonstrate low numerical comprehension due to passive classroom participation, lack of focus, and the reliance on conventional, non-engaging instructional tools. Knowledge Gap While previous studies have independently examined visual platforms or educational games, research combining both presentation software and gamified evaluation tools to address low numerical proficiency remains limited. Aims This study investigates the application of combined digital platforms on the learning progress of third-grade pupils at SDN Donggala Kodi. Results Utilizing a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design with 21 participants, data analysis revealed a significant mean score progression from 58.90 to 82.42 (p < 0.001), alongside a moderate N-Gain score of 0.3169. Novelty This research demonstrates the specific utility of integrating visual presentation capabilities with interactive game-based evaluations to actively engage pupils in learning whole numbers up to 1000. Implications These findings suggest that integrating multimedia visualization with gamified assessments provides a highly supportive and student-centered alternative pedagogical strategy for fostering fundamental numerical education. Highlights Pre-test and post-test assessments of third-grade pupils demonstrated a significant score progression from 58.90 to 82.42. Abstract

General Background Educational strategies increasingly prioritize environmental awareness and ecological capacities to ensure sustainable natural habitats. Specific Background In a seventh-grade setting, learners exhibit low ecological empathy and curiosity due to minimal direct interaction with nature, inadequate laboratory facilities, and a reliance on conventional problem-based instruction. Knowledge Gap Although environmental teaching methods exist, their integration with spiritual ethics to foster a holistic sense of ecological responsibility remains under-explored within biological science education. Aims This study investigates the application of an ecopedagogy learning model integrated with Islamic values on the naturalistic intelligence of junior high school pupils during environmental learning. Results Utilizing a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design with 48 participants, analysis revealed that the experimental cohort achieved a nine percent pretest-posttest score increase, compared to a five percent increase in the control group. Furthermore, a Mann-Whitney test confirmed statistical significance (p = 0.033), while the calculated effect size (r = 0.307) indicated a small but meaningful practical contribution. Novelty This research uniquely merges an interactive syntax with environmental ethics, specifically framing ecological conservation as a spiritual obligation derived from religious texts. Implications Integrating religious principles within participatory environmental education serves as a highly supportive alternative pedagogical framework for cultivating ecological empathy and sensory awareness. Highlights Pre-test and post-test assessments of seventh-graders revealed a nine percent score progression for the experimental group. The participatory environmental strategy successfully stimulated active classroom involvement and ecological empathy during biological science lessons. Abstract

General Background Education aims to develop literacy foundations, particularly reading skills that are essential for elementary school subjects. Specific Background Fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 027/II Sungai Arang currently experience difficulties in vocabulary acquisition, identifying main ideas, and maintaining focus due to monotonous instructional methods. Knowledge Gap While guided reading frameworks exist, specific empirical studies observing the systematic application of guided questioning to resolve specific fourth-grade textual comprehension deficits remain limited. Aims This research investigates the application of a structured reading strategy to build text comprehension skills among fourth-grade pupils at SD Negeri 027/II Sungai Arang. Results Utilizing Classroom Action Research across two instructional cycles with 20 pupils, the analysis demonstrated an increase in the mean score from 64.2 to 84.6, alongside a learning mastery progression from 45 percent to 85 percent. Novelty This study details the progressive resolution of elementary literacy challenges through tailored pre-reading predictions, structured question guidelines, and guided text exploration. Implications Incorporating systematic reading guidelines serves as a highly supportive pedagogical approach for cultivating active student participation and achieving mastery of textual information. Highlights Classroom action research spanning two instructional cycles demonstrated a mean score progression from 64.2 to 84.6. Pupil learning mastery rates climbed significantly from 45 percent to 85 percent following targeted textual interventions.
