Abstract

Background problem in this research is how the Komunikasi Oversharing representation contained in public service advertisement video "Saring Sebelum Sharing" produced by Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemdikbud RI). The analysis unit in this study is signifiers and signifieds that produce signs contained in every scene which are identified through Bernard F. Dick’s anatomy of film. This research method uses Roland Barthes’ denotative and connotative semiotic analysis. The results show that the Komunikasi Oversharing representations can be grouped into four meanings in each scene, that is teenagers’ tendency to do not think ahead, the speed of social media in spreading the information, surveillance capitalism, and the capability of algorithm system to targeting lookalike audiences.

Abstract

This study explores the communication business ethics of Sapto Darmo in Sukoreno Village, Umbulsari, Jember. These teachings rely on principles (honesty, autonomy, justice, mutual benefit and social integrity) and principles (unity, balance, free will and truth). The qualitative expert interview method was used to reveal this uniqueness. However, it turns out that this is still hampered by problems of lack of capital, the community's unpreparedness, the potential for business fraud and inadequate transportation.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the implementation of da'wah has various examples, one of which is through Islamic boarding schools. One of the strategies of Islamic da'wah is to civilize students in dressing, one of which is the Sunan Drajat female Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to answer several problem formulations: 1) How is the Islamic Boarding School's Da'wah Strategy in Cultivating the Islamic Dress Style of Santri at the Sunan Drajat female Islamic Boarding School? 2) What are the factors that support and hinder the Islamic Boarding School's Da'wah Strategy in Cultivating the Islamic Clothing Style of Santri at the Sunan Drajat female Islamic Boarding School? In this research, the researcher is a qualitative research type, the researcher collects and uses data analysis from interviews, observations and documentation of the Pengurs and Santri at Sunan Drajat female Islamic Boarding School. Dressing etiquette, and the supporting factor of this da'wah strategy is the cooperation of the administrators who make it easier for these activities to take place. In contrast, the inhibiting factor is the lack of communication from the boarding school administrators with the dormitories to report students who violate these regulations. From the results of this study, it is suggested that future researchers can develop other variables that have the effect of increasing da'wah

Abstract

Abstrak: Pesantren as the pioneer of Pancasila in stemming radicalism and accusations towards the state which have been irrelevant in implementing Pancasila. There are many hoax news that are spreaded in social media today for deceiving and undermining the country massively. The media is misused in indoctrinating digital society thougt today, by using social media freely, it is very easy to doctrin a society that was originally calm and peaceful to make a hard and challenging society that seems to be incompatible with the diversity and context of Islam. The formulation of the problem in the research is to analyze the use of social media (Facebook) as a means of dakwah at Pesantren Kiai Syarifuddin, further, the values of Islamic dakwah through social media (Facebook) at Pesantren Kiai Syarifuddin? This study used a constructivist approach. In this research, the researcher reveals and analyzes the reality of dakwah social at Pesantren which is a construction. The results of this research were: social media at Pesantren Kiai is active in spreading the values of dakwah. It can be seen on how the social media at Pesantren Kiai Syarifuddin spreads all activities that seek to raise awareness of the importance of dakwah through social media. All the activities which were conducted by Pesantren was posted in its social media, starting from reciting classical book, podcasts speeches and so on.

Abstract

This paper describes the empowerment model as well as the process and practice of empowering the STAPA community for child labor in tobacco plantations in the perspective of communicative action, from community empowerment practices measured from community participation in empowerment program services from the STAPA community in terms of planning, program action, decision making to evaluation with communicative action practices. The focus of this research object is tobacco plantation child labor in Jember Regency. The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the model of community empowerment from the perspective of communicative action, so from here the author's goal is to find a model of community empowerment in the practice of communicative action, therefore this study uses qualitative research methods, data collection methods are carried out by interviewing with the help of key informants, then the documentation method is collecting data from previous research and documentation from the government and the community. This study shows that the model of community empowerment in the perspective of communicative action that is practiced by the STAPA community is to use the concept of empowerment as an interjective communication as a stimulus for discourse in the target community so that the goal of community empowerment in tobacco plantation child workers can be achieved. Abstract

Da'wah on social media is a strategy carried out by preacher as a form of litera media and explore the period. With the form of language style, gestures, intonation, selection the theme to understand the character of each area that wants to be a place of preaching. Al-Qur'an and Hadith are guidelines in preaching. Therefore, the researcher did comparative research of national preacher who preaches on social media, especially YouTube media, namely KH Bahauddin Nursalim and Ustadz Syafiq Riza Basalamah. Both characters have characteristics in preaching, which is liked by the community ranging from teenagers, adults, to old people. Some of the aphorisms in the study that are spoken will be written by the public and even on the internet upload it on social media. The focus of the research is how the da'wah communication strategy of KH Bahauddin Nursalim and Ustadz Syafiq Riza Basalamah on the youtube channel and how the effect of da'wah on society.

Abstract

The society growth of the digital world into a double-edged blade in the dakwah. The da 'i one side becomes easier on broadcasting the dakwah and can cover more mad’u. Unfortunately, it makes the lowlifes in this case a little neglected. So there is a need for upscale communication strategies to the marginal, as do the Sekolah Marginal Community (KSM). The study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study method. Data collection methods involve interviews, observation, documentation, and case studies. The KSM uses the children's educational channel as a communication strategy for entry and preaching. In addition to education, the KSM also uses emotional approaches, changes mindset, serving various aspects of life, and performs evaluations.

Abstract

Indonesia whitout dating (ITP) is a movement of the dakwah whose vision of removing dating in Indonesia in 2024. But, many peoples and critics who view this movement encourage youth to get an early marriage without preparation. As a result of this unrest, the vision of the Nikah Institute is likely to be able to build a good marriage. The method used is a desktop qualitative research using a Stuart Hall reception analysis. Stuart Hall narrated that reception had attention to analysis in the social and political contexct where media content was produced (encoding), and media content (decoding) in daily living outputs. Stuart Hall divided the reception positions of people in three parts, that are dominant-hegemonic reading, negotiated reading and opositional ‘counter’ hegemonic reading. This research resulted in a finding that one informant occupies a dominant-hegemonic reading position in the ITP da’wah discourse, while the other four occupy a negotiated reading position. It is different with ITP, in understanding and interpreting the Da’wah of Nikah Institute, four informants occupy a dominant-hegemonic reading position, while one informant occupies an negotiated- reading position. From both the discourse of the preaching of ITP and Nikah Institute, there were no informants who held an oppositional-reading position. This shows that ITP and Nikah Institute da’wah discourse can be generally accepted, altough there are some negotiations in interpreting it.

Abstract

Islamic business competition always presents a competitive rivalry. Today, besides business being carried out in established companies and start-ups, business is also carried out by Islamic institutions. With the existence of the business world in Islamic institutions, there will also be a combination of Islamic institutional marketing communication models and corporate marketing communications by incorporating the values of marketing communications. The focus of the study are 1.) How is the Implementation of Personal Selling as a Marketing Communication Mix in a Sales-Oriented Approach at Pesantren Darun Najah and Pesantren Al-Haromain? 2.) How is the Implementation of Personal Selling as a Marketing Communication Mix in a Customer-Oriented Approach at Pesantren Darun Najah and Pesantren Al-Haromain? This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach, while data collection uses in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The informant data collection technique was carried out by purposive sampling. Data analysis used induction analysis method and interpretation in the study. The results showed that the sales and customer-oriented approaches at Pesantren Darun Najah and Pesantren Al-Haromain were carried out with presentations by salespeople explaining as best they could. Those are about product information and not lying by applying the values of the Prophet Muhammad in trading, such as being honest sales-oriented approach held at alumni meetings, local communities, and bazaar activities. The customer-oriented approach places the customer at the sales process's beginning, middle, and end. Islamic boarding schools do this by gathering alumni to research market needs with deliberations to find information on customer needs about products so that they can satisfy customers.

Abstract

As technology develops, Tiktok has become an application that is in great demand by people of all walks of life, especially teenagers. Indonesia is the 4th largest user in the world. This application provides various kinds of short videos such as funny videos, about education, motivation and so on. The duration of using Tiktok exceeds the duration of other social media users such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and so on. The purpose of this study, the first to determine the effect of Tiktok on the low morality of adolescents at IAIN Madura, the second to find out how to overcome these problems. The research method used is a qualitative method, because the data from this research are included in descriptive form. The results of this study indicate that Tiktok is very influential on the low morale of IAIN Madura teenagers, namely the fading of etiquette in dressing, as well as the deterioration of the morals and morals of teenagers. The solution is to have self-awareness, limit the time to use Tiktok, increase religious knowledge and finally have parental supervision. Tiktok not only contains bad things, good things are also available in it, but dominant teenagers get the negative influence.
