The purpose of this study is to explain the perceptions of the working class, both in the formal and non-formal sectors, about the forms of corruption, and to what extent is the significance of differences in personal characteristics and job characteristics on the perceptions of the working class about the forms of corruption. This research uses a survey method to explain the perceptions of respondents in terms of their attitudes, values and beliefs on the phenomenon of corruption, through sampling of those who work in both the formal and informal sectors in Malang Raya.   of this study consisted of 140 respondents. The sampling techniques used were cluster sampling and convenience sampling. This research uses questionnaires, interviews and secondary data. The data were analyzed using cross tabulation method, also known as Lazarsfeld technique. The results showed: (1). The level of knowledge or understanding of the respondents on attitudes and behaviors classified as corruption is still relatively low (2). There are three reasons that cause corruption, namely First, corruption occurs due to economic reasons, political factors, and social factors. Abstract

This study examines the influence of village governance, security, social variables, and infrastructure on the sustainability of tourism villages in South Sumatra, Indonesia, solving a significant research gap in the comprehension of rural tourism development dynamics. The study seeks to assess the influence of these elements on sustainable practices in tourism villages, especially in regions facing socio-economic difficulties. A mixed-methods approach was employed, utilizing bivariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses on data from the Indonesian Village Potential Census (Podes) 2021. Critical findings indicate that competent governance, strong security frameworks, social capital, and infrastructure, including communication and transportation services, substantially improve village sustainability. Nonetheless, obstacles like as governance discrepancies and inadequate security persist. This research highlights the necessity for robust governance structures, community engagement, and infrastructure investments to guarantee sustainable tourism in the long term. Future strategies must prioritize the rectification of these deficiencies to bolster the resilience of tourism settlements.

Abstract

Water scarcity is a global issue with serious impacts on health, food security, and the environment. In West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Indonesia, deforestation and land degradation have reduced water availability, leading to decreased agricultural productivity and increased disease risks. This study employs a qualitative approach through Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to analyze the role of NTB's local wisdom, such as Leka Dana in Dompu and Parafu in Bima, in supporting spring protection policies and contributing to the FOLU Net Sink 2030 target, which aims to make the forestry sector a net carbon sink. The SLR method involved identification, selection, and critical appraisal of scholarly articles, research reports, and other relevant sources. Findings reveal that these traditional practices have effectively maintained water resource sustainability and ecosystem balance. However, integration of local wisdom into national policies remains limited. Based on these findings, the study recommends three strategic measures, first, increasing community participation; second, strengthening customary institutions; and third, integrating traditional knowledge into modern environmental policies. Implementation of these recommendations is expected to support sustainable water resource management in NTB.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the effect of Klampid New Generation innovation diffusion on population administration awareness. The research approach uses a quantitative approach to statistically test the effect of innovation diffusion attributes on population administration awareness. The analysis utilizes multiple linear regression to assess the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. Conducted in Karah Village, Jambangan Subdistrict, Surabaya City, the research involved 100 participants selected from the population of family heads using a non-probability sampling technique with a quota sample strategy. The results showed that the Klampid New Generation characteristics did not affect the population administration awareness. This explains that the technical superiority of service innovation does not necessarily increase population administration awareness. The adoption of innovations for change needs to involve stakeholders and the suitability of innovations to the needs of the social system

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of land acquisition policy for the construction of the Yogyakarta–Bawen Toll Road in the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY), with particular attention to the challenges arising from the region's special autonomous status. The main focus is on the application of Law No. 2 of 2012, which must take into account the distinctive land tenure structure in DIY, especially the existence of Sultan Ground. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach and is conducted in Kalurahan Tirtoadi, Kapanewon Mlati, Sleman. The conceptual framework views policy implementation through three key dimensions: process, output, and outcome. The findings reveal that although the output namely land provision was nearly achieved through compensation schemes and the granting of pisungsung for the use of Sultan Ground, the implementation process remains suboptimal. Key obstacles include issues related to inherited land and the limited mechanisms for replacing endowed (waqf) land. Furthermore, the policy outcomes show multi-dimensional impacts, including economic, psychological, and environmental effects.

Abstract

Village financial management is an important aspect of village development in Indonesia.  In realizing the transparency and accountability of village governance, the Village Financial System Application (Siskeudes) was developed as a technological innovation to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and accountability in village financial governance.  This study aims to analyze the accountability of village financial management through the application of the Village Financial System Application (Siskeudes) in Keper Village, Krembung District, Sidoarjo Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews and observations.  The results showed that the implementation of Siskeudes has improved village financial accountability in three main aspects, namely timely routine reporting, financial accountability in the form of measurable nominal, and proof of governance in accordance with regulations. These three indicators show that the use of Siskeudes in Keper Village is running very well. However, there are still obstacles in the form of lack of integration between the Siskeudes application and BPR Delta Artha Bank in Sidoarjo Regency.

Abstract

Inclusive education policies in Indonesia mandate equal learning opportunities for students with disabilities and marginalized backgrounds. However, implementation challenges persist, often linked to the organizational operational capacities of educational institutions. This study examines SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar (secondary level) and Universitas Warmadewa (tertiary level) in Denpasar, assessing their capacities across five indicators: organizational commitment, resource availability, internal coordination, performance management, and administrative accountability. Using qualitative methods and semi-structured interviews with 11 informants, the study found that SMA Negeri 2 Denpasar demonstrated operational capacity across all indicators, driven largely by compliance with government mandates. Conversely, Universitas Warmadewa showed partial capacity, with strengths in resources but lacking in other indicators. These findings underscore the need for more integrated and institutionalized approaches to inclusive education to improve accessibility and equity for all students.

Abstract

The tourism sector serves as a fundamental pillar of Indonesia's economic development. Bali, as the nation's premier tourist destination, faces critical challenges regarding negative destination image, adversely affecting its competitive positioning. This study examines the structural relationships between memorable tourism experiences (MTEs) and destination image on tourist loyalty in Bali, incorporating tourist satisfaction as a mediating variable for sustainable tourism development. Utilizing a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM analysis of 353 respondents, results demonstrate significant positive effects of both MTEs and destination image on loyalty. Theoretically, this research contributes to experiential tourism literature by identifying robust loyalty predictors. Practically, findings suggest destination managers should: (1) enhance experiential authenticity, (2) implement strategic image management, and (3) optimize satisfaction-driven engagement to maximize Bali's tourism potential. These evidence-based strategies aim to improve destination competitiveness while supporting local community welfare through sustainable tourism practices.

Abstract

The increasing competition among higher education institutions (HEIs) has driven them to enhance their competitive advantage by fostering student loyalty. When students perceive high service quality, they are more likely to feel valued and remain loyal. This study employs Importance-Performance Map Analysis (IPMA) to identify key areas for improvement in higher education service quality and student satisfaction to enhance student loyalty. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling of the students of Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta per study program. The IPMA results, based on survey data from students, highlights service quality as the primary area requiring improvement. At the indicator level, seven keys are identified, including student skill development, infrastructure, safety, employment quality, management and staff support, teacher’s profile, and satisfaction with university choice. These findings provide strategic insights for HEIs to enhance student loyalty by prioritizing service quality improvements. Future study could extend the analysis to multiple HEIs for boarder insights.
