Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are many cases of intolerance in the name of religion. Intolerant cases do not only involve adults but also involve teenagers and students as perpetrators and occur in schools. Education as a fundamental aspect is also one of the solutions to overcome this by providing an important religious moderation framework for managing religious life in a plural and multicultural Indonesian society. Religious moderation is an effort to mediate the existing diversity, both concerning ethnicity, religion, language, gender, race, social class, age, and so on, into something that has more potential and is easier in the context of learning and education. This research is library research. The purpose of the research is to comprehensively describe the concept of religious moderation in education and describe the implementation strategy of religious moderation in the learning process in classrooms. In analyzing the data, researchers used Jacques Derrida's deconstruction theory. The result of this study is that the concept of religious moderation in education is a form of internalization of religious moderation values, namely through the determination of educational policies and objectives, through curriculum formulation, and through the delivery of values hidden in the hidden curriculum. In schools, the values and attitudes of religious moderation are realized in classrooms that involve teachers as facilitators and students as subject learners

Abstract

The art of reading the Koran is less attractive because the learning medium used by the teacher concerned does not match the love of students; as a result, this learning cannot achieve maximum results. Therefore, every teacher needs to have interesting tricks and styles in every lesson that is carried out, and it is very important to understand and adjust to the tastes or interests of the students based on their era, namely millennials, who are characterized by the function of technology in all aspects, including learning media, which should be technology-based. The research method carried out on the case study above is to take a participatory approach (action research) to the instructor who is directly related to the problem, and the results show a clear perspective based on the fact that it is very important to have an appropriate and interesting learning medium for every teacher, especially in the art of reading the Qur'an; otherwise, the learning results cannot be maximized according to the target expected in every school. The method of reading the Qur'an with an interesting art or style can significantly affect the interest in learning of each student, which is the key to success for students, especially in the group of readers of the Qur'an. Besides that, it will make the work of each teacher easier and maximized, as well as students following the lessons with relaxed happiness and full of enthusiasm. In this case, it is necessary to have productive and good cooperation between the management of the institution, the teachers as teaching staff as well as educators, and it is also necessary to have closeness between all parties to students who are under the supervision of an Islamic Boarding School. The school supervisor always conducts monitoring on the course of learning, ensuring the achievement of student learning outcomes, as has become the hope of the institution based on the vision and mission of the Nurul Falah Airmesu Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This research examines the leadership and work motivation of kiyais on the performance of teachers at the Hidayatussalikin modern Islamic boarding school in Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung, which was established in 1973 until now. Ahmad Ja'far Shidiq M.Pd who comes from the island of Java. The Hidayatussalikin Islamic Boarding School itself, at the beginning of its transformation into a boarding school in 2008, has accepted more than one hundred (100) new students who live in the boarding school with a total teaching staff of twenty-five (25) ustad and ustazah. Therefore, it is important to conduct research on the leadership and work motivation of kiyai on teacher performance in the modern Islamic boarding school Hidayatussalikin Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung to study more deeply the influence of the leadership and work motivation of kiyai on teacher performance in the Islamic boarding school Hidayatussalikin Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung. This type of research is in the quantitative genre, and when combined with the research approach used, it is descriptive-quantitative. The population was taken from all teachers (ustad and ustazah) with the criteria of teachers who have worked for more than two (2) years, for a total of forty-two (42) people. The technique used in sampling in this study used a purposive sampling method, so that the number of populations became a reference for researchers to determine as many samples as the population, namely the number of samples as many as forty-two (42) respondents. Based on the study's results, the Kiyai Leadership variable has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at the Hidayatussalikin modern Islamic boarding school Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung. This is shown by a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and a tcount value of 7.760 > ttable 1.681, which equals 61.1%. At the Hidayatussalikin modern Islamic boarding school in Pangkalpinang Bangka Belitung, the Kiyai Work Motivation variable has a positive but not significant effect on teacher performance. This is shown by a significance value of 0.071 <0.05 and a tcount value of 1.858 > ttable 1.681, which is a percentage of 7.9%. The results are not normally distributed. Furthermore, in terms of obtaining the test results simultaneously or together, the two variables above have a positive and significant effect on the teacher performance variable. In terms of obtaining a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, it is found that the acquisition of an fcount value is 30.689 > ftable 3.238 with a percentage of influence of 61, 1%.

Abstract

The spirit of national commitment that has been built in MAN Pangkalpinang still needs strengthening. It can be seen that there is still a gap between the ideals initiated by the government, especially in terms of strengthening national commitment, and what happens in the education process and does not reflect the value of national commitment. The purpose of this study is to describe how national commitment is implemented as part of strengthening religious moderation and describe the efforts of MAN 1 Pangkalpinang in order to strengthen national commitment in students. The method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, using descriptive analysis that focuses on the object of strengthening the value of national commitment that is studied in depth to reveal the reality in the field. The findings demonstrated that MAN 1 Pangkalpinang's national commitment initiative has been operational, but that some components still require reinforcement to instill a sense of national commitment in students. MAN 1 Pangkalpinang's efforts in strengthening the value of national commitment include, in addition to equalizing the perception of religious moderation, the need to build attitudes of national commitment in students, monitoring the use of cellphones, and being exemplary. This is the essence of strengthening national commitment, which is expected to build a nationalist, tolerant spirit and open the horizons of thinking of the millennial generation in attitude and opinion as an embodiment of Islam as a religion that is rahmatan lil alamin.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the differences in curriculum structure, teaching and learning processes, and assessment of the 2013 Curriculum and Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 6 Pangkalpinang. This research is field research with a qualitative descriptive research type. The research subjects were the principal, teachers, and students of SD Negeri 6 Pangkalpinang. The data used by researchers are primary and secondary. The methods used in data collection are observation, interview, and documentation. In this study, researchers used the Miles and Huberman model data analysis procedure. The data obtained were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Based on the research, it is concluded that (a) the structure of the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 6 Pangkalpinang has differences in terms of lesson hours, hour-setting policies, and subject groupings. In addition, the basic competencies in the 2013 Curriculum are quite dense, covering the basic competencies for knowledge and skills with themes that have been determined by the government. Meanwhile, the subject matter in the Merdeka Curriculum is essential material, with a more flexible allocation of hours arranged by the school. (b) The teaching and learning process in the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 6 Pangkalpinang has differences. The 2013 Curriculum is implemented thematically with an assessment per lesson, while the Merdeka Curriculum is implemented with a subject approach. The learning methods and media used are quite varied, both in the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum. (c) Assessment in the 2013 Curriculum and Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 6 Pangkalpinang has differences. The 2013 Curriculum uses minimum completion criteria with the principle of completeness in learning where aspects of attitude, knowledge, and skills are differentiated in assessment. Meanwhile, the Merdeka Curriculum uses the criteria for achieving learning objectives with a differentiation strategy based on a combined assessment of attitudes, knowledge, and skills. In the 2013 Curriculum, there is one report card containing attitudes, knowledge, and skills, while in the Merdeka Curriculum, there are two report cards, namely the lesson value report card, which is a combination of attitude, knowledge, and skills values and the project report card for strengthening the Pancasila student profile

Abstract

Education is a teacher's guidance and coaching effort towards helping students understand, appreciate, and practice their religious teachings so that they become devoted and virtuous human beings. Forming religious experience in students can be done early by instilling a deep-rooted religious experience so that it can form akhlakul karimah as the mouth of the nation's national education goals. By making SD Negeri 24 Muntok West Bangka as a research location, this research seeks to focus on the questions: 1) How is the implementation of religious activities in shaping akhlakul karimah at SD Negeri 24 Muntok West Bangka?; and 2) How is the implementation of religious activities in shaping akhlakul karimah at SD Negeri 24 Muntok West Bangka? This research is descriptive qualitative research conducted at SD Negeri 24 Muntok West Bangka. The process of collecting data involves observation, documentation, and interviews with predetermined informants. The validity of the data is determined by triangulating sources and analyzing the data using interactive methods, starting with the collection, condensation, and presentation of the data and drawing conclusions or verifications. The results of this study indicate that first, the implementation of the formation of akhlakul karimah through religious activities at SD Negeri 24 Muntok West Bangka is in accordance with the school's vision and mission and is elaborated through the Madrosati Jannati project with daily, monthly, and annual activities. Daily activities consist of 3S1J, memorization of short chapters, congregational prayers (dhuha, dhuhur), literacy in reading and writing the Qur'an, and infaq. Annual activities are carried out through the implementation of PHBI activities consisting of Maulid Isra Mi'raj, flash pesantren, joint prayers, and syawalan. Second, the results of the implementation of religious activities at SD Negeri 24 Muntok West Bangka have proven to be effective in shaping students' akhlakul karimah, as evidenced by the behavior of students after participating in religious activities, where there is a better pattern of behavior change in accordance with the religious teachings that are guided and a strong awareness of acting according to religious teachings.

Abstract

Gadgets have become a device that is commonly used, even by elementary school-age children. As a form of addressing the phenomenon of the use of devices by children in depth, researchers conducted research at SD Negeri 10 Pangkalpinang. This research aims to: 1) know the form of character building in students at SD Negeri 10 Pangkalpinang through the wise gadget program; 2) know the significance of wise habituation in using gadgets with the character of students at SD Negeri 10 Pangkalpinang. This research uses qualitative methods; data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Reducing, presenting, verifying, and validating the collected data are all parts of data analysis. The results showed: 1) The form of character building in SD Negeri 10 Pangkalpinang students through the wise program includes vision and mission, curriculum, lesson plans, learning activities, self-development, P5, and extracurricular activities; 2) The significance of wise habituation in using gadgets with the character of students of SD Negeri 10 Pangkalpinang, including the support of facilities and infrastructure, school achievements, educators and education personnel, and the condition of students who are quite good at using gadgets. The use of technology-based devices can still balance good character so that students are wiser when utilizing devices in everyday life. The characters that are realized in the wise gadget program include religion (morals), integrity, and independence. Researchers see that the school has made efforts to overcome the negative impact of gadgets. Bijak Bergawai at SD Negeri 10 Pangkalpinang has been able to address the negative impact of gadgets that have an influence on student character, so researchers conducted further research with the title Significance of Schools in Realizing Students with Character through Bijak Bergawai at SD Negeri 10 Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to obtain systematic, authentic, and accurate information about the facts related to the application of differentiated learning to increase student activity at State Elementary School 10 Pangkalpinang and efforts to overcome obstacles to differentiated learning. This research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects were the principal, teachers, library staff, and students at SDN 10 Pangkalpinang. The researcher used both primary and secondary data. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. In this study, researchers used the Miles and Huberman model data analysis procedure. The data obtained were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that (a) students are more active and involved in the learning process, which is reflected in their participation in discussions, questions, and group work. (b) Different teaching methods in differentiated learning, such as presenting content with videos, projects, or creative assignments, can positively affect students' learning activities. (c) Efforts to overcome obstacles include involving class associations, alumni, and companies to help implement an activity, providing training to teachers to better understand differentiated teaching strategies, and providing additional time to students who need help. This research is very important for educators and education policymakers to consider the importance of implementing differentiated learning strategies in an effort to improve the quality of education at a higher level. It also highlights the need for teacher training in implementing this approach effectively so that it can provide maximum benefits for all students in the higher grades.

Abstract

The increasing prevalence of many types of child violence serves as a convincing rationale for the necessity of protecting children's rights. To ensure the fulfillment of children's rights, it is imperative to establish an education system that can effectively generate a conducive learning environment. SD Negeri 30 Pangkalpinang and SD Negeri 37 Pangkalpinang are educational institutions that have adopted the Child Friendly School program in order to ensure that children have access to high-quality education and their rights are upheld. The objective of this study is to analyze the implementation mechanism and endeavor to meet the components of child-friendly schools in SD Negeri 30 Pangkalpinang and SD Negeri 37 Pangkalpinang with more scrutiny. This study employed a descriptive-qualitative methodology. Data collection employed approaches such as observation, interviews, and documenting. In addition, the acquired data was evaluated utilizing the Miles and Huberman analytical model, which encompasses data gathering processes, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion derivation. The data validity test employed both source triangulation and technique triangulation methodologies. The present investigation yielded the subsequent findings: (1) The implementation process of the Child-Friendly School program in SD Negeri 30 Pangkalpinang and SD Negeri 37 Pangkalpinang consists of four stages: preparation through socialization, planning by creating an innovative program, implementation by executing the innovative program, and monitoring and evaluation by engaging the school's internal team. (2) SD Negeri 30 Pangkalpinang and SD Negeri 37 Pangkalpinang have successfully met all six indicators of child-friendly schools. However, in terms of educators and education personnel being trained in children's rights, teachers and staff in both schools still require ongoing training in this area.

Abstract

This study examines the use of the ISMUBA (Islam Muhammadiyah Arabic Language) curriculum at SMA Muhammadiyah Pangkalpinang. Regarding the challenges encountered by the education sector in the age of globalization and substantial technical advancements, The implementation of a curriculum approach is essential in order to effectively address the advancements in globalization, democratic society, and the proactive response to the progress of information and science. The implementation of a curriculum is crucial in education to foster a productive, efficient, and innovative learning experience. The objective of this study was to assess the teacher's comprehension of the ISMUBA curriculum in the context of the teaching and learning process. In Islam, religious knowledge (IMTAK) and general science (science and technology) are not considered independent entities, as they both originate from the same source, which is Allah SWT. Religious knowledge is direct knowledge bestowed by Allah SWT. Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan Arabic Education (ISMUBA) is a distinctive feature and benefit exclusive to Muhammadiyah schools and madrasahs. The advancement of Muhammadiyah education is structured through an integrated and holistic system of modern Islamic education.
