Abstract

Increasingly fierce competition in the retail business has prompted companies to improve service quality and strengthen promotional strategies in order to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study aims to analyse the influence of service quality and promotions on customer satisfaction at Azko LP Puri PX. The research method employs a quantitative approach using descriptive associative techniques, with a population of all customers recorded in December 2023, totaling 9,583 individuals. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations, and interviews, then analysed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results of the study indicate that service quality has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction, while promotions also have a positive impact, though to a lesser extent than service quality. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant impact, contributing 69.2% to customer satisfaction. These findings confirm that improving service quality is a dominant factor in building customer satisfaction and loyalty, while promotions remain important in supporting the company's appeal amid market competition.

Abstract

Mata uang Digital Bitcoin (BTC) menjadi tren dikalangan investor dan trader terkhusus di Indonesia, hal ini menjadi penguat pertumbuhan yang sangat cepat dan signifikan pada tahun terakhir, mata uang digital ini terkenal dengan pergerakan atau volatilitas yang tinggi sehingga membuat keputusan investor atau trader harus sangat hati-hati dalam menjalankan bisnis tersebut karena sangat potensial tinggi dengan risiko yang dihadapi, hal ini sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian yang ditulis, bahwa dapat diminimisasi dengan algoritma pergerakan atau dikenal oleh masyarakat umum adalah Moving Average (MA), maka sebelum para investor dan trader melakukan transaksi, hal ini dapat menggunakan Simple Moving Average (SMA) ataupun Exponential Moving Average (EMA). Dalam hal ini penelitian juga menggunakan data pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penggunaan data histori transaksi mata uang digital yang tren seperti BTC periode 2020-2025, dari pengalaman data histori dilakukan dengan model pengetesan backdate dari mata uang digital BTC tersebut. Adapun data backdate yang dipergunakan adalah dengan jangka waktu tertentu yang dikenal dengan kode n=50 sebagai petunjuk periode terpendek serta penelitian ini mempergunakan data dengan periode terlama yaitu diberikan kode n=200, artinya hari yang dipergunakan 50 dan 200 hari untuk mengetahui adanya traksi Golden Cross ataupun deatch cross. Penggunaan data histori menunjukan hasil analisa yang sangat signifikan adanya respon terhadap perubahan fluktuasi harga mata uang digital BTC dalam penentuan keputusan dan kebijakan para trader dan investor mata uang digital BTC tersebut, sehingga dapat disimpulan bawha model pendekatan analisa SMA dan EMA dapat membantu para trader dan investor. administration still dominates organizational document management and creates various obstacles such as slow distribution, difficulties in archive retrieval, weak interdepartmental coordination, high operational costs, as well as low transparency and data security. This condition contradicts the demands of modern administration, which emphasizes the use of information technology. This study aims to design a digital-based application to improve administrative efficiency, analyze the application’s contribution to interdepartmental coordination, identify the capability of digital systems in overcoming the weaknesses of manual management, and assess the alignment of the application with e-Government and SPBE (Electronic-Based Government System) principles. The research applied a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with key informants and document studies, with thematic analysis based on modern administration theory, digital coordination, and SPBE regulations. The findings show that administrative digitalization through digital correspondence recording, integrated archive search, automatic notifications, data backup, and audit trail can overcome the weaknesses of the manual system. Digitalization has been proven to accelerate document distribution, simplify archive retrieval, enhance transparency, strengthen accountability, reduce operational costs, and improve interdepartmental coordination. The implementation of digitalized administration results in a significant transformation from a manual system that is slow, wasteful, and less accountable to a digital system that is faster, more efficient, transparent, secure, and cost-effective. The success of implementation is determined not only by technical aspects but also by compliance with SPBE regulations. Digitalization has been proven to positively impact the improvement of public service quality and organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

The phenomenon underlying this research is the limited effectiveness of spiritual guidance programs for inmates at the Class IIB Penitentiary (Lapas) of Gunungsitoli, which function not only as a means of religious development but also as a medium for social reintegration. The main problem addressed in this study is how the control system and the implementation of spiritual guidance programs are carried out, as well as the extent to which these programs are able to enhance inmates’ religious awareness, moral values, and social behavior. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using interviews, observation, and documentation to collect data from correctional officers, religious leaders, and inmates. The findings indicate that the implementation of spiritual guidance in Lapas Class IIB Gunungsitoli has been conducted in line with established procedures; however, its effectiveness is still influenced by limited facilities, the level of officer involvement, and the participation rate of inmates. The control system applied through regular evaluations and spiritual mentoring has proven helpful in fostering discipline and increasing religious awareness among most inmates. Thus, spiritual guidance plays a significant role in the correctional process, although improvements are still required in terms of facilitator quality, the provision of adequate worship facilities, and the strengthening of control systems to achieve optimal outcomes.

Abstract

Public service is a crucial indicator in realizing good governance, particularly administrative services that directly interact with the community. The sub-district (kecamatan), as the frontline of local government administration, plays a strategic role in providing efficient, effective, and accountable correspondence and administrative services. This study aims to analyze the problems in administrative correspondence services at the Gunungsitoli Utara Sub-District Office and to examine the urgency of implementing a digital-based service system as a solution to improve the quality of public services. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through preliminary observations of administrative service processes. The findings reveal that correspondence services are still conducted manually with lengthy procedures, heavy reliance on physical documents and photocopies, conventional archival systems, and dependence on the physical presence of authorized officials, which collectively result in low efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery. Furthermore, the absence of a digital service system limits transparency and accessibility, particularly for communities living in geographically remote areas. The implementation of the PADUKA (Integrated Sub-District Service) application is considered a viable solution to streamline service procedures, enhance service speed, transparency, and accountability. However, the success of service digitalization requires adequate human resources, technological infrastructure, and improved digital literacy among the community. Therefore, the transformation toward digital-based administrative services in Gunungsitoli Utara Sub-District is a strategic step to enhance public trust and ensure sustainable improvement in public service quality.

Abstract

The phenomenon underlying this research is the ineffectiveness of the centralized AMEL application previously used for procurement reporting at the Regional Secretariat of Nias Regency. Issues such as delays in data presentation, low report accuracy, generalized reporting, and the absence of real-time information made it difficult for leaders to make data-based decisions. In response, the local government developed the SIMONIBARJAS application, a locally based and integrated system designed to provide faster, more detailed, accurate, and real-time reporting. The research problems focus on: (1) the effectiveness of the SIMONIBARJAS application in supporting procurement reporting; (2) the extent to which it addresses AMEL’s weaknesses; (3) users’ perceptions of its ease of use, speed, and reliability; and (4) the role of human resources in supporting its implementation. The findings indicate that SIMONIBARJAS is effective in improving reporting quality by accelerating data presentation, increasing accuracy, providing more detailed reports, and supporting real-time information access for decision-makers. Moreover, inter-unit integration has improved, enabling faster and more accountable decision-making processes. However, challenges remain, including limited user understanding of some features and technical issues such as internet stability, which require further improvement

Abstract

Promotion is an activity designed to influence consumers so they become familiar with the products offered by the company, thus becoming interested and purchasing them. Purchase intention is a consumer behavior that underlies a purchasing decision. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of promotion on consumer purchase intention at PT ZPAY Komunika and to determine the extent of the influence of promotion on consumer purchase intention at PT ZPAY Komunika. The research method used was quantitative research with 30 respondents. The results of the data analysis showed that the calculated t-value for the variable 6.099 was >2.054, thus concluding that Ha was accepted and that promotion had an effect on the variable consumer purchase intention. Based on the Adjusted R Square value of 0.672, this indicates that the promotion variable can influence consumer purchase intention by 55.5%. The remainder is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Sales forecasting is an important aspect of inventory management, especially for products with a limited shelf life such as eggs. Inaccurate demand estimation can lead to excess inventory resulting in losses or insufficient stock that causes missed sales opportunities. This study aims to analyze egg sales patterns and examine the importance of implementing sales forecasting as a basis for inventory management at CV. Monalisa Mitra Makmur, Gunungsitoli City. The data used in this study consist of egg sales data from 2023 and 2024. The results of the analysis show that egg sales experienced significant fluctuations due to seasonal factors, changes in economic conditions, and religious holiday periods. Sales in 2024 showed a substantial decline compared to 2023, indicating challenges in inventory planning. The main problems faced by the company are unstable demand patterns and limitations in utilizing historical sales data as a forecasting basis. Therefore, the implementation of appropriate sales forecasting methods is expected to help the company determine optimal inventory levels, minimize the risk of losses, and improve operational efficiency and competitiveness.

Abstract

This research is titled The Effectiveness of Fingerprint Implementation in Improving Employee Discipline at the Inpatient Health Center (UPT Puskesmas) of Mandrehe Subdistrict, West Nias Regency. The aim of this study is to examine how the fingerprint system is implemented within the health center, to what extent it contributes to improving employee discipline, performance, and service delivery, and to identify the challenges encountered during its implementation. This study employs a qualitative approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results reveal that the fingerprint system has been implemented in accordance with established procedures and has had a positive impact on employee discipline, particularly in terms of attendance and punctuality. Furthermore, it has encouraged greater individual responsibility in carrying out public service duties. However, several challenges were identified, such as technical issues with the fingerprint device, limited technical understanding among some employees, and inadequate supporting infrastructure.
