Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of employee training policies on improving service quality and identify the inhibiting factors in the Moro'o District Office, West Nias Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the implementation of the training policy has not been running optimally and has not had a significant impact on improving the quality of public services. The form of training that is carried out is still general socialization, unstructured, and lacking in depth. The main inhibiting factors are budget limitations, less interesting and interactive methods of delivering materials, and weak support for the implementation of training results in the work environment. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Moro'o District Office design a training program that is more structured, sustainable, and in accordance with the real needs of employees, and supported by adequate budget allocation and participatory training methods.

Abstract

The sale of the starter pack of PT. Narindo Tap Mandrehe Telecommunication Solutions experienced a significant and fluctuating decline from April to December 2024, although it had increased at the beginning of the year. This indicates problems in the company's marketing strategy, such as unstable network/signals, less competitive prices, and slow marketing services in responding to customer complaints. This study aims to find out whether there is an influence of Telkomsel's marketing strategy on sales volume at PT. Narindo Telecommunication Solutions Tap Mandrehe West Nias Regency and how much influence it has. The method used by the researchers is qualitative, with the technique of a linear regression of the simplest line. The data collection technique used in this study was the distribution of questionnaires to respondents. In this study, which is a validity and reliability test, correlation coefficient test, classical assumption test with two tests used, namely normality test and linearity test, simple linear regression test, determination coefficient test and T test. This research was conducted at PT. Narindo which is located in Fadoro Village, Mandrehe District, West Nias Regency. The research results showed that the results for the hypothesis test results obtained by a calculation of 8,263 with a significant value of 0.000. Abstract

This study examines the role of leadership in improving administrative efficiency at the Community and Village Empowerment Agency (DPMD) of North Nias Regency. The research is motivated by initial findings indicating issues related to administrative efficiency within the agency, such as a lack of active supervision from leaders, hindered inter-division coordination that can lead to duplicated work, and a slow adaptation to technology. Additionally, a lack of staff initiative in managing data and information was found to lower productivity. Therefore, this study aims to analyze how the leadership styles and practices implemented by leaders can be a solution to these challenges. The research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data was collected through three main techniques: in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The findings from interviews show that leaders at the DPMD of North Nias Regency have implemented various innovative strategies to enhance efficiency. These strategies include structured work plans with balanced task distribution, the use of data processing technology, and routine coordination meetings. Furthermore, leaders have shown a proactive attitude in motivating staff to take initiative, enabling them to make relevant decisions within their scope of duties without always waiting for orders. The study also found that the applied leadership style not only focuses on managerial aspects but also on building strong interpersonal relationships. Leaders were successful in creating a conducive work environment through open communication with staff, where every input and critique is heard constructively. Staff members feel valued and involved in the administrative decision-making process, which in turn fosters a sense of ownership and responsibility for their work. The implementation of task and authority delegation has also been a key to success. Leaders give full trust to staff to complete administrative tasks, which not only enhances their independence but also encourages individual skill development. This approach has significantly contributed to increased productivity and morale. In conclusion, the role of leadership at the Community and Village Empowerment Agency of North Nias Regency is proven to have a substantial impact on improving administrative efficiency. Effective leadership, characterized by clear direction, good communication, active participation, and the ability to delegate tasks and authority, can create a more structured and productive work culture. This study recommends that the DPMD of North Nias Regency continues to strengthen adaptive and participatory leadership strategies to face increasingly complex administrative challenges in the future, as well as integrating continuous leadership training for all levels of leadership.

Abstract

Digital data security has become a crucial aspect in an era where information exchange is increasingly open, especially within government institutions that handle sensitive internal documents and messages. In the context of the Military Court III-15 Kupang, a security mechanism is required to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of messages during internal data transmission. This study applies a combination of the Least Significant Bit (LSB) steganography method and the Advanced Encryption Standard 256-bit (AES-256) cryptographic algorithm to enhance the security of text messages. The text message is first encrypted using AES-256 to generate ciphertext, which is then embedded into a Portable Network Graphics (PNG) image by manipulating the least significant bits of its pixels using the LSB method. The result of this research is a web-based application implementing LSB steganography and AES-256 cryptography for securing image files, specifically designed to support the internal information security needs of the Military Court III-15 Kupang. The combination of both methods provides a dual-layer security mechanism, ensuring that the hidden message remains protected even if the image file is transferred or accessed by unauthorized parties.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), and Return on Assets (ROA) on Price to Book Value (PBV) in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2021–2024. A quantitative approach with causal design was employed. The population comprised 98 companies, and 36 companies were selected as samples through purposive sampling, yielding 144 total observations. Data were sourced from annual reports published at www.idx.co.id and analysed using multiple linear regression via SPSS. The results show that: (1) DER has a positive and significant effect on PBV (t = 2.100; sig. 0.020); (2) CR has a positive and significant effect on PBV (t = 2.507; sig. 0.013); (3) ROA has a positive and significant effect on PBV (t = 7.541; sig. 0.000); and (4) simultaneously, DER, CR, and ROA significantly affect PBV (F = 19.825; sig. 0.000). The Adjusted R Square of 0.683 indicates that the three variables explain 68.3% of the variation in PBV.

Abstract

One of the keys to a company's success is human resource management. This study aims to analyze the influence of competence and work motivation on the performance of logistics employees at PT. Lex Indonesia Hub Sukamaju. This study uses a descriptive research methodology with a quantitative approach. Data collection for this study uses questionnaires supported by documentation studies. There were 80 employees who participated in this study. This study found that competence and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The regression analysis produced a simultaneous correlation coefficient of 0.927, which indicates a strong relationship between competence and work motivation and employee performance. In addition, the coefficient of determination value of 0.859 indicates that the two variables can describe 85.9% of the influence on employee performance, while the remaining 14.1% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. The results of the simultaneous hypothesis test produced an Fcount value of 234.673, indicating that competence and work motivation together significantly influence the performance of logistics employees at PT. Lex Indonesia Hub Sukamaju.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a significant influence between product quality and customer loyalty at Toko Makmur Tani. The research method used in this study was quantitative research. The results of data analysis indicate that product quality has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. The regression coefficient value of 0.740 with a t-value of 6.022 and a significance level of 0.000 (<0.05) indicates that every increase in product quality will significantly increase customer loyalty. Based on the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.531, this means that product quality has a 53.1% effect on customer loyalty, while the remaining 46.9% is influenced by other factors not examined, such as price, service quality, brand image, and promotion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of social media strategies in increasing brand awareness of products at UD. Tanda Setia, Gunungsitoli City. The research employs a qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the business owner, marketing staff, and customers. The results indicate that social media platforms—particularly Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok - play a significant role in building communication between the company and consumers. The applied strategies include creating engaging content, maintaining posting consistency, actively interacting with users, and utilizing digital promotional features. The use of social media has proven effective in expanding market reach, strengthening brand image, and enhancing customer trust in the products. However, the study also identifies several obstacles, such as limited human resources for content management, lack of creative design variations, and suboptimal use of digital data analytics. Overall, the social media strategy implemented by UD. Tanda Setia is considered effective in increasing brand awareness, although improvements are still needed in content consistency and the development of more professional and targeted digital marketing strategies.

Abstract

Infrastructure development is one of the main indicators of a region’s overall development success. Adequate infrastructure plays a strategic role in enhancing regional connectivity, accelerating the distribution of goods and services, and expanding public access to essential facilities. Various efforts have been made by the local government to improve work systems and accelerate development; however, several challenges remain, such as inadequate planning, limited human resources, and suboptimal supervision effectiveness. Based on these conditions, this study aims to analyze the change management strategies implemented, identify the challenges encountered, and examine the efforts made to improve infrastructure services by the Department of Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUTR) of Gunungsitoli City. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research informants consist of leaders, structural officials, and community members who benefit from infrastructure services. The results indicate that the change management strategies implemented by the PUTR of Gunungsitoli City have shown positive progress, although not yet fully optimal. Constraints such as limited planning data, delays in material distribution, and gradual adaptation of employees to digital systems still occur. Improvement efforts are carried out through strengthening cross-sector coordination, utilizing data-based information systems, and continuous human resource development to ensure infrastructure services become more effective and well-targeted.
