Abstract

Volcano monitoring is crucial, especially for a country with many volcanoes like Indonesia. One of the challenges faced in monitoring active volcanoes is the relatively large cost and the location of the volcano which is difficult to access. Geological structures can be identified and studied using imagery, including satellite imagery and aerial imagery. Although the images do not provide a direct picture of the lithological details of the rock, they can provide important information about the pattern and structural characteristics. Aerial photo acquisition for photogrammetry was carried out using a drone that was flown over the Anak Krakatau Volcano. The results of this photogrammetry can be used as a basis for assessing the Geological Structure of Anak Krakatau Volcano. The use of satellite imagery in monitoring volcanoes provides important information for public safety, scientific research, and understanding of volcanic processes. With advances in technology and the accessibility of satellite imagery data, we can gain a better understanding of volcanic activity, monitor changes, and provide early warning to people living in affected areas.

Abstract

Infinitess store in its production activities has been using computers, but still limited to spreadsheets. As its business grows, the limitations of spreadsheets become increasingly evident. All data collection is still done manually, starting from recording customer orders, inventory data collection of raw materials, scheduling production processes, and monitoring production processes. This research aims to design a web-based screen printing production information system at Infinitees store to improve service and facilitate information availability in the production process. The method used in the design is Prototype method. For the design, HTML and PHP are used, as well as MySQL as the database. The expected result of this research is to build and design a web-based screen printing production information system to facilitate data collection processes and present information related to the production process easily and quickly.

Abstract

Problems in construction projects can occur in various ways, the cause is due to increased implementation time and increased implementation costs. This is caused by several factors, namely the influence of weather, lack of manpower, inadequate or disrupted material supply and insufficient equipment used, as well as the owner himself. Work delays can be anticipated by accelerating the implementation and accelerating project completion with good planning. An alternative commonly used to support the acceleration of activities is to increase working hours and labor, so that it affects the total cost of the project. To speed up the duration of the project, you can use the time and cost exchange method by analyzing the relationship between activities and the duration of each activity, then calculating the crashing program for each alternative, namely adding working hours by 4 working hours, adding 25% of the workforce to get the value cost slope, and compressed project duration starting from the lowest cost slope value for activities that are on the critical path. The result is that the addition of labor is more profitable in terms of costs because there is an increase in total costs in a relatively small amount compared to the addition of working hours, while in terms of time the addition of working hours is more time efficient.

Abstract

The web-based Village Fund Management Accounting application has been designed to increase efficiency and transparency in managing village funds at the Muara Lematang Village Head's Office. This study aims to develop a system that facilitates the process of recording, reporting, and monitoring village finances in real-time. The research methods used include literature studies, needs analysis, system design, and implementation. A literature study was conducted to understand the existing accounting application models and features relevant to the needs of village fund management. At the needs analysis stage, data was collected through interviews with village finance officers and analysis of documents related to village fund management. From the results of the analysis, it was found that several important features that must be owned by an application, including recording transactions, preparing financial reports, budget management, and monitoring the realization of funds. Based on the needs analysis, a system design was carried out by developing an intuitive and responsive user interface design. In addition, a database was also designed to store and manage village financial data in a safe and structured manner. At the implementation stage, a web-based village fund management accounting application has been successfully developed and tested at the Muara Lematang Village Head's Office. The trial was carried out by involving users involved in managing village funds to evaluate the performance and usability of the application. The results of this study indicate that web-based village fund management accounting applications can increase efficiency and transparency in village fund management. The use of this application can assist the Muara Lematang Village Chief's Office in keeping accurate records, compiling financial reports quickly, and monitoring the allocation and realization of village funds more effectively.

Abstract

Tanjung Dalam Village is one of the government institutions located under the auspices of the Rambang Village, Muara Enim District. The method of processing data on cash social assistance, at this institution still uses the manual method which causes frequent errors, resulting in inaccurate data. In addition, the manual method must go through a long process and requires a relatively long time, as well as insecure data storage. The purpose of this research is to build an application using a website to make it easier for Tanjung Dalam Village to process cash social assistance, because well computerized and easy to use. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and literature study. The type of data consists of qualitative data and data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Methods of developing activity diagram tools. This application was built using a website with the PHP programming language and MySQL database, and to print reports using a pdf component.

Abstract

The development of technology is getting faster and faster, especially information and communication technology. Information systems are no longer a foreign thing today. Utilization of this technology is also very useful and needed in producing information regarding musrenbang in Jungai Village. The problem that occurs in musrenbang activities in Jungai village is the relatively low level of community involvement and lack of community participation in musrenbang activities. In addition, the office has not been optimal in accommodating community proposals and aspirations in village development. In conducting this research using qualitative research whose purpose is to describe what is currently happening. So that the data will be obtained to support the preparation of the research report. While in this study the method used by the author is a qualitative descriptive method which is a research method that utilizes qualitative data and is described descriptively with the aim of describing or describing the results of existing research. The software development method that the author uses is the Waterfall model. While the analysis and design tools use UML (Unified Modeling Language) consisting of use case diagrams, class diagrams and activity diagrams. This application can make it easy for people with circumstances or conditions who are unable to come directly to the Jungai Village office to carry out musrenbang activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a promotion effect on consumer decisions to buy shoe products at Rise and Risk online stores during the Covid 19 pandemic. The background of this research is considering that this pandemic is quite detrimental to business people and promotion through social media is the main thing to determine its effect on purchasing decisions. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods, namely research methods conducted by selecting samples through the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study also went through a process, namely the distribution of questionnaires to respondents who were the subjects of this study. Respondents in this study were Instagram followers of the online store Rise and Risk, a sample of 100 respondents was taken. The data processing used in this research is using SPSS. The results obtained indicate that promotion has an influence on consumer purchasing decisions to buy shoe products at the Rise and Risk online store. The results of this study are to contribute in the field of communication, especially business communication.

Abstract

The management of physical archives into digital formats is a crucial aspect in enhancing the operational efficiency of government agencies, particularly the DPMPTSP of Samarinda City. This research proposes and implements a web-based record management system using the Laravel framework to facilitate this process. The primary focus is to simplify employees' tasks in transforming and managing archives digitally, reducing dependence on physical archiving that often consumes time and resources. Laravel framework is chosen for its reliability in web development and ease of integration with other technologies.The implementation of this system not only transforms how employees store archives but also streamlines the file borrowing process. The system allows employees to easily search for and borrow archives electronically, overcoming traditional barriers in information retrieval. The implementation results show a significant improvement in archive management efficiency, creating an innovative and relevant solution to administrative challenges in government agencies. The success of this implementation creates opportunities to further modernize public administration processes, making technology utilization a key factor in improving productivity and service quality. Thus, this research makes a positive contribution to the transformation of public administration through technology implementation, paving the way for more effective and integrated archive management.

Abstract

The increase in traffic accidents which cause major consequences, such as injuries and fatalities, can be caused by an increase in population and the need for vehicles in a certain area. It is difficult to predict the time and location of traffic accidents, which are increasing as road length and vehicle movements increase. In the Samarinda Police area, the rapid growth of urbanization and vehicle mobility is a significant challenge in reducing the number of accidents. Statistics show an alarming number of accidents, requiring more effective handling to prevent them from increasing every year. The K-Means clustering algorithm is used in this research to identify accident-prone hours and group road accident data. Six variables including accident rate, number of fatalities, serious injuries, minor injuries, type of accident, and weather were taken from data collected in 2023 by the Samarinda Police Traffic Unit. After data collection, preprocessing and K-Means Clustering stages were carried out using RapidMiner. The results of the analysis help design more effective prevention strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to observe the teaching methods used by teachers and the learning strategies implemented in schools. Students can observe various teaching techniques, the use of learning media, interactions between teachers and students, and the effectiveness of the learning strategies used. Material validation aims to determine the opinion of material experts regarding the suitability of e-module-based Discovery Learning learning media. The results of the research showed that the presentation media was 93.35%, then based on the practicality data processing, the e-module presentation level was 98.3% and the percentage of student practicality was 83.37%. So based on the research results above, it can be concluded that all of the practicalities in the percentages above are very practical and suitable for use because the practicality category of 81-100% is stated as "practical".
