Abstract

Students at SMP Negeri 6 Jepara are used to receiving lessons directly from the teacher. They at school can interact directly with their friends. However, the Covid-19 Pandemic changed the learning that has been lived so far. Students take online learning. This learning had caused unpreparedness. Some students need help understanding the material being taught. Limited interactions. This condition caused frustration among some students. Handling and avoiding students from frustration requires the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers. This study describes the strategy of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Jepara as a decisive step for handling and avoiding student frustration with online learning. The approach used in this research is field research. The study found that Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMP Negeri 6 Jepara made lesson plans according to the conditions of the Covid-19 Pandemic, maintained student learning comfort, controlled student learning activity, provided student learning motivation, and increased students' spiritual intelligence.Strategi Guru PAI SMP Menghadapi Siswa Frustrasi Pembelajaran Dalam Jaringan Saat Pandemi Covid-19.Siswa di SMP Negeri 6 Jepara terbiasa menerima pembelajaran secara langsung dari guru. Mereka di sekolah dapat berinteraksi secara langsung dengan teman-temannya. Namun, Pandemi Covid-19 mengubah pembelajaran yang selama ini dijalani. Siswa mengikuti pembelajaran daring. Pembelajaran ini sempat menimbulkan ketidaksiapan. Sebagian siswa kesulitan memahami materi yang diajarkan. Interaksi yang dijalani terbatas. Kondisi itu sampai menimbulkan rasa frustrasi di kalangan sebagian siswa. Penanganan dan menghindarkan siswa dari frustrasi membutuhkan peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan strategi guru Pendidikan Agama Islam SMP Negeri 6 Jepara sebagai langkah ampuh untuk penanganan dan menghindarkan siswa frustrasi dengan pembelajaran daring. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan. Hasil penelitian menemukan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMP Negeri 6 Jepara membuat rencana pembelajaran sesuai kondisi Pandemi Covid-19, menjaga kenyamanan belajar siswa, mengontrol keaktifan belajar siswa, memberi motivasi belajar siswa, dan meningkatkan kecerdasan spiritual siswa. 
The Dynamics of Stress and Discipline as Determining Factors of Job Satisfaction for Educators (A Case Study at SMK NU Miftahul Falah Kudus)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work stress and work discipline on job satisfaction of educators at SMK NU Miftahul Falah Kudus. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach and multiple regression analysis. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to the entire population of educators, a total of 33 respondents. The results showed that work discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance value of 0.033 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of 0.369. Work stress has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance value of 0.025 < 0.05 and a regression coefficient of -0.351. In addition, work stress and work discipline together have a significant effect on job satisfaction with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 and an R² value of 0.353. At the same time, both variables contribute 35.3% to the educators' job satisfaction. Although the level of work discipline is relatively high, job satisfaction still needs improvement, especially in the aspects of salary and financial benefits. This study recommends better stress management, strengthening the culture of discipline, and reviewing the compensation system to support educators' well-being and optimal performance.

Abstract

Improving student affection abilities needs effective learningdesign. By David Kolb’s learning style models, this study aimedto determine the effect of the use of the ability of affective learningstyles of students. Data revealed by questionnaire with 75respondents at MTs Nurul Ulum Tanjunganyar. The results showedthat the use of learning styles David Kolb positive effect on students’affective skills, evidenced by Freg value 16.946 is greater than theF table for a significance level of 1% and 5% (7.00 3.97). Regression equation formed is Y = 85,825 + 0,526 X. Results showed the calculation of the coefficient of determination 0.188 or 18.8%, indicated that 18.8% of students level of affection influencedthe use of student learning styles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kurang optimalnya kegiatan Kepala Madrasah dalam mensupervisi guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab permasalahan: (1) bagaimana pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh Kepala Madrasah, (2) bagaimana faktor pendukung kegiatan Supervisi Akademik dan hambatannya, serta (3) bagaimana peran Kepala Madrasah sebagai supervisor. Penelitian ini mengikuti model studi multi kasus, dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Berlokasi di MAN 1 Pati dan MAN 2 Pati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) pelaksanaan Supervisi Akademik meliputi tiga kegiatan, yaitu perencanaan program (b) strategi Supervisi Akademik, (c) evaluasi menggunakan instrumen penilaian baku mengacu aturan Kementerian Agama, dengan tindak lanjut memberikan penguatan dan penghargaan serta pembinaan dan pelatihan. (2) Faktor-faktor pendukung meliputi jadwal supervisi akademik, kesediaan guru  disupervisi, sikap guru senior yang kooperatif, kelengkapan administrasi pembelajaran, kontinyuitas pelaksanakan  Supervisi Akademik. Faktor-faktor penghambat terdiri dari keterbatasan waktu Kepala Madrasah dan guru, beban guru mengajar yang tidak sesuai dengan latar belakang Pendidikan (3) Peran Kepala Madrasah sebagai Supervisor memiliki kompetensi:  merencanakan program, melaksanakan dan melakukan evaluasi serta menindaklanjuti hasil Supervisi Akademik.This research is motivated by the less optimal activities of the Madrasah Head in supervising teachers. This study aims to answer the problem:(1) how the implementation of academic supervision by the Head of Madrasa (2) how the factors supporting Academic Supervision activities and their obstacles, and (3) how the role of the Madrasah Head as a supervisor. This research follows a multi-case study model, with a descriptive qualitative approach. Located in MAN 1 Pati and MAN 2 Pati. The results showed: (1) Implementation of Academic Supervision includes three activities, namely: (a) program planning, (b) Academic Supervision strategy, and (c) evaluation using standard assessment instruments referring to the rules of the Ministry of Religion, with follow-up giving reinforcement and appreciation as well as coaching and training. (2) Supporting factors include the schedule of academic supervision, the willingness of supervised teachers, fellow teaching professions, the attitude of the cooperative senior teachers, completeness of the administration of learning, continuity of the Madrasah Head in carrying out Academic Supervision. The inhibiting factors consist of the limited time of the Madrasah Head and the teacher, the burden of the teacher teaching that is not following the educational background. (3) The Role of the Madrasah Head as a Supervisor has competence: planning programs, implementing and evaluating, and following up on Academic Supervision results. Implementation of Academic Supervision includes three activities, namely: (a) program planning, (b) Academic Supervision strategy by setting targets focused (c) evaluation using standard assessment instruments. (2) Supporting factors. (3) The Role of the Madrasah Head as a Supervisor has competence.

Abstract

This research aims to elucidate the influence of service quality against the satisfaction and loyalty of students’ parents in MI NU Miftahul Huda 02 Piji Dawe Kudus year 2015/2016. The respondents in this study are 87 of students’ parents. The analysis used is the path analysis with the help of SPSS 17. The research and discussion results showed that: (1) the service quality in MI NU Miftahul Huda 02 Piji Dawe Kudus Year 2015/2016 according to researcher it was assessed quite well with the average value is 3.39; (2) satisfaction and loyalty of students’ parents in MI NU Miftahul Huda 02 Piji Dawe Kudus year 2015/2016 according to researcher it was assessed quite well and good with average value of 3.23 and 3.57; (3) influence of the service quality against the satisfaction and loyalty of students’ parents in MI NU Miftahul Huda 02 Piji Dawe Kudus year 2015/2016 according to the researcher it influential directly. It can be seen from the coefficient value of the service quality variable towards the satisfaction of parents 49.7% and the coefficient value of the service quality variable against the loyalty of parents 7.8%. This shows that the service quality can increase the parents’ satisfaction and loyalty against the institution.

Abstract

Implementation of Multicultural Education through the Contextual Teaching and Learning Model of Islamic Religious Education for Elementary School Students (a Literature Review). This study aims to explain how to implement learning to foster multicultural values with a Contextual Teaching Learning approach in Islamic Religious Education, and also to explain its urgency and relevance to Islamic teachings. This research is qualitative and uses literature study methods. In the search, it was found that plurality is a logical consequence of the diversity of cultures, ethnicities, races, religions, that Indonesia has. The implementation of cultural elements is considered to be a bridge to the presence of a peaceful life. However, to make this happen, it is a tough challenge that must be faced. In fact, until now Indonesia still often faces problems in accepting diversity, especially in the midst of increasing complexity of life.Multicultural education is important to be taught to students in pluralistic Indonesia. PAI plays a role in instilling inclusive and contextual Islamic teachings using a contextual teaching and learning model that has proven successful in the process of transferring knowledge and values, so that students are able to understand and practice multicultural values that are in line with Islamic values in life such as mutual respect, respect, help, tolerance, democracy, inclusion in a heterogeneous society. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana mengimplementasikan pembelajaran untuk menumbuhkan nilai-nilai multikultural dengan pendekatan Contekstual Teaching Learning dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam, dan juga untuk menerangkan urgensi dan relevansinya dengan ajaran Agama Islam. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dan menggunakan metode studi literatur. Dalam pencarian tersebut ditemukan bahwa pluralitas merupakan konsekuensi logis keragaman budaya, suku, ras, agama, yang dimiliki Indonesia. Implementasi unsur kebudayaan dianggap dapat menjadi jembatan hadirnya kehidupan yang damai. Namun, untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, merupakan tantangan berat yang harus dihadapi. Kenyataannya sampai saat ini Indonesia masih kerap menghadapi masalah dalam menerima keberagaman terutama di tengah kompleksitas kehidupan yang semakin tinggi. Pendidikan multikultural penting diajarkan kepada peserta didik di Indonesia yang pluralistik. PAI berperan menanamkan ajaran islam yang inklusif dan kontekstual dengan menggunakan model contekstual teaching and learning terbukti berhasil dalam proses transfer ilmu dan nilai, sehingga peserta didik mampu memahami dan mengamalkan nilai-nilai multikultural yang senapas dengan nilai-nilai Islam dalam kehidupan seperti saling menghormati, menghormati, tolong menolong, toleran, demokratis, inklusif di tengah masyarakat yang heterogen.

Abstract

Sejak awal karir perlu dipersiapkan para remaja, dan perlu dibantu dalam menyusun perencanannya, memutuskan pilihan karirnya baik berupa studi lanjut ataupun pekerjaan dengan harapan hari depannya lebih baik. Salah satu lingkungan yang bisa membantu para remaja berada di lingkungan sekolah dalam hal ini bimbingan dan konseling yang merupakan salah satu media kedekatan dan kepercayaan bagi remaja (peserta didik). Pertanyaannya sejauhmana peran guru bimbingan dan konseling sekolah mengelola layanan bimbingan dan konseling dari segi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Untuk mengetahui hal itu, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, dengan pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik yang dilakukan pada kondisi alamiah. Informan penelitian berjumlah 10 orang terdiri dari Kepala Sekolah, Wakasek, Koord Guru BK, Guru BK, dan 6 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data Manajemen, Bimbingan, Konseling, Karirmenggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Analisis data berpedoman pada teknik analisis interaktif Miles dan Hubberman.Untuk lokasi penelitiannya di SMP 1 Gebog Kudus.Hasil temuan; 1)Perencanaan terlaksana dengan baik hal ini ditunjukkan dengan adanya program BK. Namun manajemen BK belum bisa mengelola anggarannya secara mandiri. 2)Pengorganisasian terlaksana baik dan sesuai dengan aturan permendiknas Nomor 27 Tahun 2008. Penilaian kinerja guru BK pada pasal 22 ayat 5 Permendiknas dan BKN Nomor 14 Tahun 2010 sudah sesuai.Namun untuk koordinasi antara guru BK kurang maksimal, hal ini terlihat tidak berjalannya MGBK sekolah. 3)Pelaksanaan BK berlangsung baik. Namun belum bisa meminimalisir anggapan peserta didik bahwa BK sebagai “polisi sekolah”. 4)Evaluasi BK.Evaluasi secara proses berjalan, namun evaluasi hasil yang menggambarkan keefektifan layanan BK dan berapa banyak masalah yang berhasil ditangani BK belum ditemukan. 5)Bimbingan karir setiap kelas sudah terencana.Namun dalam pengevaluasian tidak adanya data yang berkaitan dengan out put peserta didik.
Internationalization of Indonesian Islamic Higher Education in the Digital Transformation Era: Opportunities and Challenges

Abstract

This conceptual article examines the internationalization of Islamic universities in Indonesia in the context of digital disruption. Although previous studies have addressed the general topic of higher education internationalization, little attention has been given to how Islamic universities can globalize while maintaining their unique integration of science, religion, and Islamic moderation. Employing a library research method and utilizing a SWOT analysis approach, this study examines relevant laws, ministerial regulations, and policy documents. The findings indicate that Islamic higher education institutions (PTKI) have strategic strengths in integrating science and religion and have a moderate Islamic identity that distinguishes them from other universities worldwide. From an opportunity perspective, PTKIs can leverage digital transformation, international cooperation policies, and the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program to expand their global academic networks. However, the study also revealed fundamental weaknesses: the absence of regulations for the internationalization of PTKIs, dual authority between ministries, and internal limitations in human resources, international publications, infrastructure, and funding. PTKIs also face serious challenges, including the risk of pseudo-internationalization, tension between Islamic identity and secular academic standards, and global competition and geopolitical dynamics that can hinder academic mobility.

Abstract

The evaluation system is an important part of the curriculum component used to measure achievement of learning objectives. In learning at STAIN Kudus, each lecturer has different models and forms of learning evaluation. This study aims to examine the model of learning evaluation conducted by lecturers in Sharia Business Management Program (MBS) in 2014. As a result, the evaluation system consists of two types, test and non test. In the type of evaluation the test consists of written tests, oral and deeds. In the written test, there is an objective test form and a description test. While non-tests can be done through observation, portfolio, attitude instruments and so on. Evaluation system used by lecturers on MBS STAIN Kudus Prodi in general is a form of written test type description. Although there are some lecturers who use objective writing tests and oral tests.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the concept of HOTS based assessment to improve students critical and creative thinking skills, the implementation of HOTS based assessments in improving students critical and creative thinking skills, results of HOTS-based assessments in improving students abilities. critical and creative thinking of students in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education at the Junior High School level in Kudus Regency. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using Milles and Huberman analysis models include data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Results of this study indicate that the HOTS based assessment concept consists of analyzing the Basic Competencies; compiling a grid of questions; choosing a stimulus; write question items; and make scoring guidelines. Implementation of the HOTS based assessment consists of the dominance of the cognitive aspect in making questions; cognitive level creates, evaluates and analyzes as a reference in making questions; and making questions oriented towards measuring the metacognitive dimensions of students. Results of the HOTS based assessment can be seen from the mastery of the material with a higher level, and the ability to think systematically, learn to analyze a problem from various aspects and educate students to be confident. Thus, HOTS based assessment is important to be implemented in learning activities, with the aim that students are able to think creatively, critically, innovatively, argue, solve problems, and have expertise in making decisions, especially on Islamic Religious Education and Character Education materials.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep penilaian berbasis HOTS untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif peserta didik, implementasi penilaian berbasis HOTS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif peserta didik, dan hasil penilaian berbasis HOTS dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran PAI dan Budi Pekerti di tingkat SMP Kabupaten Kudus. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis Milles dan Huberman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa konsep penilaian berbasis HOTS terdiri dari menganalisis KD; menyusun kisi-kisi soal; memilih stimulus; menulis butir pertanyaan; dan membuat pedoman penskoran. Implementasi penilaian berbasis HOTS terdiri dari dominasi aspek kognitif dalam membuat soal; level kognitif mencipta, mengevaluasi dan menganalisis menjadi rujukan dalam membuat soal; dan pembuatan soal berorientasi mengukur dimensi metakognitif peserta didik. Hasil penilaian berbasis HOTS terlihat dari penguasaan materi dengan level yang lebih tinggi, dan kemampuan berpikir secara sistematis, belajar menganalisis suatu masalah dari berbagai aspek dan mendidik peserta didik percaya diri. Dengan demikian penilaian berbasis HOTS penting untuk diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, dengan tujuan agar peserta didik mampu berpikir kreatif, kritis, inovatif, berargumen, menyelesaikan masalah, dan keahlian dalam mengambil keputusan, khususnya pada materi PAI dan Budi Pekerti.
