Abstract

Free sex among adolescents is a growing and alarming phenomenon. This behaviour not only poses health risks, such as sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies, but also has psychological and social impacts on adolescents. This study aims to analyse the factors that influence free sex among adolescents based on literature review and empirical studies. The factors examined include the influence of peers, social media, lack of sexual education, and family relationships. The results indicate that peer influence and access to sexual content on digital media are the primary triggers, while inadequate sexual education exacerbates the situation. Recommendations are provided for the active role of parents, schools, and the community in providing healthy education and supervision.

Abstract

Malnutrition in early childhood is a global health problem that has a wide impact on physical growth, cognitive development, and the immune system of children. Children with poor nutritional status tend to experience growth retardation, are susceptible to infectious diseases, and experience impaired brain development that can affect intelligence. This study aims to examine the factors causing malnutrition in early childhood, the impacts caused, and solutions that can be applied. This study uses a literature review method by reviewing various scientific journals that discuss malnutrition in early childhood. The study results indicate that malnutrition is caused by factors such as low nutritional intake, family socio-economic conditions, lack of parental education about healthy eating patterns, and limited access to health services. The impacts of malnutrition include impaired growth, decreased immune system, and impaired cognitive development that can have long-term impacts on children's productivity in the future. Solutions that can be done to overcome this problem include educating parents, increasing access to nutritious food, and implamanting more comprehensive health policy interventions. With the right intervention, the rate of malnutrition in early childhood can be reduced so that their quality of life can improve.

Abstract

This research explores the diversity of celestial views and their relationship with spirituality practices in different cultures around the world. Cosmology, as an understanding of the origin and structure of the universe, as well as mythologies that explain natural phenomena, are the main focus of this analysis. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through a systematic literature study, the research covers five to seven representative cultures from the continents of Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and Oceania. The results show that each culture has a unique way of understanding and interpreting celestial phenomena, reflecting not only astronomical knowledge but also inherited values, beliefs and traditions. Moreover, the relationship between the view of the sky and the practice of spirituality across different cultures shows that the sky serves as a source of inspiration, knowledge and spirituality. The research also highlights the importance of historical documentation in understanding human interactions with their environment, as well as how sky views shape cosmological systems and mythological narratives. The findings provide deeper insights into cultural diversity and encourage constructive dialogue between different communities, as well as reduce conflict due to cultural misunderstandings.

Abstract

Human resource (HR) recruitment is an important aspect of HR management that aims to obtain workers that are in accordance with the needs of the organization. An effective recruitment process ensures that the organization has individuals who are competent, committed, and able to contribute to achieving goals. In the era of globalization and tight competition, recruitment strategies must continue to be adjusted to technological developments and labor market dynamics. This article discusses the concept of HR recruitment, including the stages and methods that can be applied in the recruitment process. Various recruitment methods, both internal and external, have their own advantages and challenges that need to be adjusted to the needs of the organization. In addition, the use of technology in the recruitment process, such as artificial intelligence (AI) and online recruitment applications, further increases the efficiency of candidate selection. A deep understanding of recruitment will help organizations increase their effectiveness in obtaining quality workers. With the right strategy, organizations can create a productive work environment, increase competitiveness, and ensure long-term growth.

Abstract

This paper explores the role of the Jawi script as a cultural heritage that functions not only as a writing system but also as a medium of social narrative within the Malay community. The study adopts a qualitative approach, incorporating both sociolinguistic and historical methods to trace the development of the Jawi script, its functions in social life, and efforts to preserve it within the context of Malay culture. The findings reveal that Jawi played a crucial role in the dissemination of knowledge, the construction of identity, and the preservation of Islamic values in the Nusantara region. The social narratives embedded in Jawi texts reflect the thoughts, values, and societal structures of traditional Malay society. Jawi script served not only as a tool for communication but also as a medium for conveying religious knowledge, customs, and political discourse in the past. It shaped and sustained the community's understanding of its own identity, making it a key component in the formation of the collective Malay-Islamic discourse. However, the forces of modernization, changes in the education system, and the dominance of the Romanized (Rumi) script have led to a significant decline in Jawi usage, especially among the younger generation. Therefore, ongoing and future efforts—particularly in education, digitization, and cultural promotion—are essential to ensure the continued relevance and survival of the Jawi script as a vital element of Malay identity that deserves to be preserved and strengthened over time.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse diversification strategies as an effort to build competitive advantage in educational institutions. Amidst the challenges of globalisation and competition between institutions, strategies are needed to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of educational institutions. Diversification, whether related or unrelated, is one strategic solution to reduce dependence on a single source of funding and encourage innovation in educational services. This study employs a literature review method by examining various scientific sources and relevant documents. The analysis reveals that the implementation of diversification strategies enables educational institutions to expand their service reach, increase value added, and strengthen their position in the competitive landscape. Diversification carried out in a planned manner can enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability of educational institutions in the long term.

Abstract

Psychological assessment in education is a process to determine the psychological state of students, support diagnosis, and design appropriate interventions. The basic concepts of psychological assessment include various theories from figures such as Carl Rogers, who emphasized the importance of individuals' subjective experiences in assessment, and Raymond Cattell, who developed a psychological model based on factor analysis to measure dimensions of intelligence and personality. In Indonesia, educational assessment underwent a significant transformation, especially with the implementation of Curriculum 2013, which focuses on higher-order thinking skills and the all-round development of students' abilities. This change is also reflected in the introduction of the National Assessment (AN), which replaces the National Exam (UN) and aims to assess students' literacy, numeracy and character. Assessment is no longer just an evaluation of academic achievement, but a tool that supports the continuous learning process. The assessment methods used, such as formative and summative assessments, provide constructive feedback to improve and optimize learning. In addition, national assessments provide a broader picture of the quality of education in Indonesia. This assessment approach includes various instruments, such as written tests, oral tests, observations, interviews and portfolios, which aim to evaluate students' social, emotional and academic dimensions
