Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of non-test evaluation in moral learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews with one of the teachers, and library research. The results showed that the implementation of non-test evaluations, such as observations of worship practices, congregational prayers, muroja’ah, and observations of student behavior, provided a comprehensive picture of students' moral development. Moral learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta has also generally been implemented well, and the learning outcomes also show satisfactory achievements. However, there are several aspects in its implementation that need to be improved to improve the quality of the learning program such as the challenge of integrating moral values as a whole into students' daily behavior. This research recommends improving teacher competence, developing a comprehensive assessment rubric, and allocating adequate time and resources to support the successful implementation of non-test evaluation in moral learning. Similar research has also been conducted, for example by Ramadhan et al., (2024) which discusses non-test learning evaluation in morals subjects at SMP MUH 1 Karanganyar, as well as in the journal Natasya et al., (2024) which examines the implementation of non-test evaluation through microteaching practices in Aqidah Akhlak courses at UMS. Whereas in this study, it is focused on what and how the implementation of non-test evaluation in moral learning at SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Surakarta which has not been discussed in these studies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze whether the use of wordwall learning media as interactive media has an impact on students' interest in learning at SDN 36 Lubuklinggau. This study uses a qualitative research type where data is collected using observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation methods. The subjects of this study were all 15 students in class II B. The results of the observation revealed that the low interest in learning in class II B students was caused by students getting bored easily and being less active during learning so that students' understanding of the learning material given was less than optimal. However, by using this wordwall learning media, the results showed that class II B students became more active and enthusiastic in their learning process. This wordwall media can also increase students' interest in learning in class II B SDN 36 Lubuklinggau because wordwall media is an interactive media and can make the learning atmosphere fun because wordwall media combines sound and images so that students are interested and enthusiastic to participate in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to examine innovations in Indonesian language teaching methods in response to the challenges posed by information technology development and the digital era. The rapid growth of digital technology has transformed the learning environment, requiring Indonesian language teaching to move beyond conventional teacher-centered methods toward more interactive, collaborative, creative, and technology-based approaches. This study uses a library research method by reviewing relevant books, journal articles, policy documents, and academic sources related to Indonesian language learning, digital literacy, educational technology, TPACK, multimodal texts, and artificial intelligence in education. The data were analyzed using content analysis to identify key concepts, research trends, and theoretical perspectives relevant to the topic. The findings show that innovation in Indonesian language teaching can be implemented through digital literacy integration, blended learning, flipped classroom, project-based learning, gamification, multimodal text production, and the ethical use of artificial intelligence. These methods are considered capable of improving students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, critical thinking, creativity, and digital communication skills. However, the effectiveness of these innovations depends on teachers’ digital competence, infrastructure readiness, institutional support, and students’ ethical awareness in using technology. The study concludes that Indonesian language teaching in the digital era should not only focus on linguistic competence but also strengthen digital literacy, communication ethics, creativity, and critical thinking. Therefore, innovative teaching methods are essential to create adaptive, meaningful, and relevant Indonesian language learning in the context of technological transformation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of leadership as a trust (amanah) and role model from the perspective of hadith and its relevance to Islamic educational management. Leadership in Islam is not only understood as the ability to manage an organization, but also as a trust that carries moral, social, and spiritual responsibilities toward Allah SWT and human beings. This study employed a qualitative approach using library research. The primary data sources consisted of the hadiths of Prophet Muhammad SAW related to leadership, trustworthiness, justice, and exemplary conduct, while secondary data were obtained from books, scientific journals, and relevant previous studies. Data were collected through documentation techniques, and the data analysis employed content analysis. The findings reveal that leadership in Islam is founded upon the values of trustworthiness (amanah), justice, responsibility, exemplary conduct, and professionalism. The hadiths of the Prophet SAW emphasize that leadership is a great responsibility for which leaders will be held accountable before Allah SWT; therefore, leaders must possess integrity, competence, and noble character. In the context of Islamic educational management, the values of trustworthiness and exemplary conduct can be implemented through the functions of planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling, which are oriented toward justice, transparency, and professionalism. The implementation of these values has been proven to improve leadership quality, organizational culture, and the quality of Islamic education. Thus, leadership based on trustworthiness and exemplary conduct serves as an important foundation for establishing educational institutions that are ethical, professional, and characterized by Islamic values.

Abstract

This study discusses the use of the demonstration learning model in science learning to improve the activity and learning outcomes of elementary school students. Science learning in elementary school often involves abstract concepts that are difficult for students to understand without concrete learning experiences. The demonstration model allows teachers to present scientific processes directly in the classroom so that students can observe real events and better understand the concepts being taught. This study uses a literature review method based on relevant educational books to explore the concept, implementation, advantages, limitations, and impact of the demonstration model. The findings show that the demonstration model can increase student learning activity by encouraging observation, questioning, and discussion during the learning process. In addition, learning outcomes improve because students gain direct experience that helps them understand and retain scientific concepts more effectively. Although this model has limitations such as dependence on teaching aids and time allocation, it remains an effective approach when properly designed and implemented by teachers.

Abstract

This descriptive qualitative study aims to analyze the level of readiness and strategies of young teachers in Pecanbal in developing 21st-century competencies, particularly within the 4C framework (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity). This study specifically focuses on the use of digital infrastructure in elementary schools by teachers with less than five years of experience. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews conducted with six participants selected using purposive sampling. The data analysis process followed the Miles and Huberman model (reduction, presentation, and drawing of conclusions) and was verified through source triangulation. The research findings highlight conflicting realities in the field. Although young teachers demonstrate high technical proficiency in using digital devices, there are still significant shortcomings regarding pedagogical integration. These technical skills have not yet been fully integrated with effective pedagogical strategies to maximize the potential of technology in learning. These findings confirm that proficiency with digital tools does not always guarantee success in developing students’ competencies. Therefore, to ensure that young teachers’ technical preparation leads to significant and systematic pedagogical innovation in the classroom, there is a need for ongoing reinforcement of aspects related to technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK).
