Abstract

The aim of this descriptive qualitative research is to describe how the implementation of neuroscience learning is used to stimulate children's moral abilities. The subjects in this research were the school principal and class teacher RA Assa'adah. Data collection techniques that is used was structured interviews. The research results show that education in early childhood is carried out through play activities, because it is in line with the natural nature of a child who likes to play. By playing, children gain knowledge spontaneously without feeling pressured or burdened. Neuroscience learning fits children's learning needs when it is done in a fun way. The media used is appropriate to the child's interests. The activity begins by conditioning the children through reading Iqra, Latin reading books, reading the pledge when lining up, moving and singing or playing simple games, as well as reading short letters together. This is done to prepare the children to be enthusiastic about learning, focus on learning, and receive learning material well. Activities to stimulate children's morals were carried out by singing Islamic songs, reciting hadiths, and telling stories of the prophet. The teacher will give a warning by reading a hadith if a child breaks the rules at school. Teachers assess children's moral development every day. The development results of each child are different because of the differentiation of the character and background of each child. The teacher will evaluate the activities that have been carried out and improve them for the next learning year, especially in terms of children's moral development.

The inhibiting factors are primarily internal, originating from the students themselves as memorizers. These internal factors include laziness, drowsiness, homesickness, lack of discipline, and other personal challenges. 3) The outcomes of the Tahfidzul Qur’an learning process at Ma'had Al-Askar demonstrate that students not only succeeded in memorizing the Qur’an but also acquired additional skills, such as leading congregational prayers, performing the adhan and iqamah, and interacting effectively with the community.

Abstract

To ensure that schools continue to exist and operate effectively, the role of the principal is crucial. Principals play a vital role as they are responsible for overseeing the progress and setbacks of the school. They must also contribute to improving the quality of education. According to Permendikbudristek Number 15 of 2018, principals are entrusted with numerous duties and responsibilities, including planning school programs, managing operations, conducting supervision and evaluations, overseeing teachers' teaching responsibilities, and managing school administration and finances. This study employs a library research or literature review method, collecting literature from various sources such as e-books, journal manuscripts, newspapers, papers, articles, reports, magazines, and relevant journals. The principal's roles can be categorized as follows: educator, manager, administrator, innovator, motivator, supervisor, and leader. The principal’s role in improving the quality of education is critical, as they significantly influence the quality of education itself. Principals are required to develop teaching program plans, student activity plans, staffing plans, financial plans, and equipment plans. Principals have two main areas of responsibility: school administration and professional development of teachers. The success of a principal largely depends on their leadership abilities.
