Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of guided inquiry methods in accounting education and their impact on students' analytical abilities through library research. A qualitative research was conducted by examining relevant literature, including books, articles, and journals. The analysis technique employed literature study by identifying, collecting, and analyzing library sources related to guided inquiry methods. Research findings indicate that guided inquiry methods provide significant contributions in improving learning outcomes, student interest, and analytical thinking skills in accounting subjects. This method encourages active student participation in the learning process with teacher guidance, developing positive character traits including fairness, honesty, discipline, creativity, independence, responsibility, and tolerance. The research concludes that the guided inquiry approach is effective in enhancing the quality of accounting education and comprehensive student potential development.

Abstract

In Indonesia, attention is focused on the phenomenon of low academic achievement among children, which is often associated with the role of parents in education. The aim of this research is to identify the relationship between parental roles and children’s academic achievement in the village. The research method employed is qualitative, with random sampling of four parents whose children are attending school. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation to understand parental involvement and children’s academic performance. The collected data was then analyzed descriptively. The results of the analysis revealed a significant positive relationship between active parental involvement and children’s academic achievement. These findings underscore the importance of parental support in improving children’s learning outcomes in the village.

Abstract

Adjustment became a problem for new students of Islamic boarding school, especially those who didn’t have experience living in a dorm. This research was conducted to see the correlation between self efficacy and adjustment of the new students in Islamic Boarding School Hidayatullah Berau. This research was done using a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were 53 new students of Islamic Boarding School Hidayatullah Berau which were chosen using Total Sampling method. The datas were collected using self efficacy scale and adjustment scale. Then, the collected datas were analyzed using pearson correlation product moment method. This research showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between self efficacy and adjustment of the new students in Islamic Boarding School Hidayatullah Berau with the value of calculated r > r table = 0.623 > 0.2706 dan p = 0.000 < 0.05. It means that if someone has high self-efficacy, they have the high ability to adjust, and vice versa

Abstract

Studi ini akan menjelaskan bagaimana motivasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis masalah di SMP Negeri 2 Passi. Inti dari eksplorasi tersebut adalah untuk mengetahui inspirasi pembelajaran siswa dalam pembelajaran ujian IPS melalui pembelajaran berbasis isu pada siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Passi. Strategi eksplorasi subjektif, metode pengumpulan informasi khususnya persepsi, dokumentasi dan pertemuan. Saksinya adalah guru ujian sosial, dalam hal ini tiga orang guru geologi, dengan pemeriksaan subjektif menurut Miles dan Hubberman. Hasil eksplorasi menunjukkan bahwa kemajuan awal yang dilakukan pendidik ujian ramah dalam memberikan inspirasi belajar kepada siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Passi Kota Bintau, Daerah Passi Barat, Rezim Bolaang Mangondow, melalui model pembelajaran berbasis isu, meliputi beberapa latihan seperti menyusun rencana pembelajaran, menyusun latihan, mempersiapkan kelas dan siswa, danerencanakan model pembelajaran. Kedua upaya untuk meningkatkan inspirasi pembelajaran meliputi; memahami manfaat pick up berdasarkan isu, membuka pintu terhadap anggapan, dan memperkenalkan materi yang menarik. Faktor-faktor yang menghambat upaya guru dalam membangun inspirasi belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran berbasis isu antara lain rendahnya inspirasi dan minat belajar, faktor lingkungan yang tidak mendukung siswa dan terbatasnya konsentrasi waktu di sekolah.

Abstract

Expository is a type of writing that aims to provide an in-depth and clear explanation of a topic, with an emphasis on facts and analysis. Expository articles avoid personal views and use a logical and organized writing structure, so that readers can easily understand the content. This type of article is often found in scholarly journals, textbooks, and mass media, and usually covers a variety of topics such as social issues, technology, science, and culture, all of which are based on relevant evidence and data. Expository writing requires skills in organizing ideas clearly, managing data accurately, and presenting arguments objectively. This article will explain the basic principles of expository writing, including its structure, writing style, and how to effectively convey information to readers. As an informative form of writing, expository helps readers understand the topic better without the influence of the writer's personal views.

Abstract

Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is an effective approach for enhancing students' critical thinking skills by promoting active engagement through collaboration and real-world problem-solving. This study employs a literature review method to analyze previous research on PBL, focusing on data collection from secondary sources such as academic journals and research reports. The findings indicate that PBL significantly improves students' critical thinking abilities, despite challenges in implementation, such as time constraints and teacher preparedness. The PBL process involves several stages, including problem orientation, fact gathering, authentic investigation, action planning, and evaluation. This approach not only enhances critical thinking but also prepares students to face real-life challenges, fostering resilience and adaptability

Abstract

Democracy is applied not only at the national level but also in schools as a foundation for character building among students. The OSIS election at SMA Negeri 5 Halmahera Timur serves as a tangible implementation of democratic principles, with the aim of analyzing the role of Pancasila education in shaping students' democratic character through participation in the OSIS election. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that the student council elections were conducted transparently and systematically, involving students in the processes of debate, campaigning, and voting. This activity helps students apply the values of Pancasila democracy, especially the fourth principle regarding wisdom in deliberation. In addition, the student council elections enhance students' leadership, participation, and critical thinking skills. Overall, this activity proves that Pancasila education through OSIS elections can shape students' democratic character, preparing them to become future leaders, despite the presence of several supporting factors and challenges in integrating Pancasila values.

Abstract

Problem Based Learning (PBL) is a learning model that takes and uses examples from real life. With this method, learners are trained to solve a problem through discussions, problem exercises, or scientific activities. This research was conducted to see the role of Problem Based Learning in developing students' critical thinking skills. In this research, a literature study was conducted by collecting explanations from various sources such as books and articles that discuss PBL. The researcher's findings revealed the success of the Problem Based Learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills. Problem Based Learning trains learners to think in real terms, and consider various views in the decision-making process. This problem-solving-oriented approach not only deepens the learning experience, but also makes it more relevant to everyday life.

Abstract

This study discusses the social construction of the drama Layangan Putus as social learning for housewives in Bara District, Palopo City. The purpose of this study is to understand how the Layangan Putus drama constructs the reality of housewives in Bara District, Palopo City. To understand the social learning from the Layangan Putus drama for housewives in Bara District, Palopo City. This study is a descriptive qualitative research using a communication approach with social construction theory and social learning theory. The informants used were eight housewives. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the drama Layangan Putus generates discourse about spousal relationships and domestic conflicts. The drama Layangan Putus has constructed housewives up to the stage of internalization dialectics, Society has now developed a broader understanding of how to address external realities and does not immediately create new realities. By observing the scenes in the Layangan Putus drama and evaluating each event and the course of Aris's affair, culminating in Kinan's proof of her husband's infidelity, and ultimately ending in the divorce between Aris and Kinan. The social lesson learned by housewives after watching the drama Layangan Putus is that romantic gestures, previously considered a sign of a partner's loyalty, are in fact the opposite. The drama shows that a husband's romantic gestures are actually a factor that triggers him to cheat on his wife, covering up his infidelity with romantic gestures towards his wife

Abstract

A significant change in the field of education is marked by the shift from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Belajar (Independent Learning) Curriculum. At SMP Negeri 2 Tondano, student engagement in Social Studies (IPS) remains relatively low, as evidenced by minimal active participation and low learning motivation. Observations indicate that students tend to be passive and lack focus during the learning process.This study employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach involving eighth-grade students. The findings reveal that the use of appropriate teaching methods, such as group discussion, can enhance students’ learning outcomes and foster positive collaboration among group members during the learning activities.
