Abstract

The reality of the crisis of aqidah and morals in Indonesia today still seems so alarming and it seems that the phenomena that occur in human life today are far from the basic values of Islam, namely the Qur'an and Hadith. As a result, deviations occur in the community. This study aims to 1) find out the opinion of the commentators regarding the QS. Al-An'am verses 151-153, 2) find the essence contained in the QS. Al-An'am verses 151-153, 3) find the educational implications contained in the QS. Al-An'am verses 151-153 about the morals of the easy way towards efforts to build aqidah and morals. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, while the method used is descriptive analysis method with the type of library research, namely by collecting data that is related to the researcher's discussion. Based on the results of this research analysis shows that the essence of QS. Al-An'am verses 151-153, 1) the importance of Aqidah for a Muslim in order to avoid deviant teachings, 2) a Muslim must have a good morality in fostering aqidah and morals, 3) Muslims are obliged to avoid deviant teachings of the Islamic religion. Educational Implications of QS. Al-An'am verses 151-153 namely: 1) stay away from polytheism to Allah, 2) do good to both parents, 3) protect children, 4) avoid evil deeds, 5) protect the soul, 6) love orphans, 7) perfecting measures and scales, 8) fair in speech and action, 9) keeping promises, 10) and being obedient and obedient to the rules. Efforts in fostering Aqidah and Morals are carried out by several methods, namely the first method, the exemplary method, the habituation method, the advice method, the story method, the Ibrah method, and the educating method.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the competence of teachers, student learning motivation, and the obstacle and support factors for Akidah Akhlak teacher competence in increasing student learning motivation at Madrasah Aliyah Tunas Cendekia Babakan Ciwaringin Cirebon. This study used a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation review. From this study it can be concluded that Akidah Akhlak teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Tunas Cendekia do not apply social competence and professional competence but only apply pedagogic competence and personality competence. Teachers of Akidah Akhlak at Madrasah Aliyah Tunas Cendekia have not fully mastered teacher competence. By examining students' learning motivation at Madrasah Aliyah Tunas Cendekia, it found out that student learning motivation is still quite high. The obstacle of Akidah Akhlak teachers in increasing student learning motivation at Madrasah Aliyah Tunas Cendekia comes from Aqidah Akhlak teacher’s lackness of teacher competence, especially social and professional competence. Keywords:Teacher Competence, Student Learning Motivation, Students.  AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi guru, motivasi belajar siswa, dan faktor penghambat dan pendukung kompetensi guru Akidah Akhlak dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Tunas Cendekia Babakan Ciwaringin Cirebon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi,wawancara dan tinjauan dokumentasi. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa guru Akidah Akhlak di Madrasah Aliyah Tunas Cendekia tidak mengaplikasikan kompetensi sosial dan kompetensi profesional melainkan hanya mengaplikasikan kompetensi pedagogik dan kompetensi kepribadian. Motivasi belajar siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Tunas Cendekia dalam kategori cukup tinggi. Penghambat kompetensi guru Akidah Akhlak dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di Madrasah Aliyah Tunas Cendekia berasal dari guru Akidah Akhlak yang kurang menguasai kompetensi guru, lebih tepatnya kompetensi sosial dan profesionalnya. Kata Kunci:Kompetensi Guru, Motivasi Belajar Siswa, Siswa.

Abstract

In the midst of an increasingly modern era, there is a phase of social and cultural transformation in the Islamic boarding school  environment, therefore this is a challenge that Islamic boarding schools must face in balancing tradition and modernity in the contemporary era, so Islamic bording schools must not eliminate traditional values which are this is the core identity of Islamic boarding schools even though times have developed rapidly. Especially now that Islamic boarding schools are in the midst of a society that continues to experience change, so it will be difficult to maintain the values contained in Islamic boarding schools. Therefore, students are required to be able to adapt to an increasingly modern and sophisticated world with increasingly modern technology and students can take advantage of this, for example information that would otherwise not be possible to obtain, so to prevent this from happening, students must be able to dig up information that is possible.  This information is important to apply in Islamic boarding schools. The aim of this research is to find out how Islamic boarding schools can balance the old traditions that exist in Islamic boarding schools in the current contemporary era. The method used in this research is the tazkiyatun nafs method, and the results of this research are that santri can balance tradition with the challenges of Islamic boarding schools which are supported by the increasing development of technology.

Abstract

The head of the madrasa has a role in improving the performance of all human resources in the educational institution he leads. The purpose of this study was to determine the profile and role of madrasah principals in improving madrasah-based management, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors in improving madrasah-based management. This study uses qualitative methods with in-depth observation data collection, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the profile of the madrasah principal had met the criteria as stipulated in the Minister of National Education Regulation Number 13 of 2007. The role of the madrasah principal in improving madrasah-based management is good, as an Educator, Manager, Supervisor, Leader, Innovator, and motivators. This madrasa-based management, improvement with curriculum management and program teaching, management of educators and education personnel, student management, financial and financial management, management of facilities and infrastructure, community roles, special service management have also improved and implemented well the indicators that have been determined in each management. Supporting and inhibiting factors in improving madrasa-based management include: madrasas on the main village route, having adequate facilities and infrastructure, the cohesiveness between teachers in supporting all policies made by the madrasa.

Abstract

Islam is a religion that upholds the concept of purity. Purification or also called taharah has a broad meaning not only limited to ablution, taharah is to purify oneself, clothes, and places of worship from hadas and najis according to Islamic law. This study aims to determine whether Muslim women know about istihadah, the kinds of blood istihadah in Islamic law and its implications in worship. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research type with a survey approach to analyze female students' level of knowledge regarding the concept of taharah in cases of istihadah. Data collection techniques are carried out through questionnaires. The collected data is then analyzed using descriptive statistics, such as frequency and percentage.. The results showed that female students' understanding of the concept of taharah, especially istihadah, was at a sufficient level, not too low but also not optimal. It is hoped that with this research, more women will realize the importance of delving further into the concept of taharah, especially istihadah.

Abstract

This research explains the concept of Syekh Nawawi's Islamic educational thought and its relevance today.  Sheikh Nawawi al-Bantani himself is a great scholar from Banten who is famous for his work in the field of Islamic religion.  This research uses a type of library research that uses descriptive analysis with the aim of systematically describing the facts found.  The results of his findings can be seen from the thoughts on Islamic education that he conveyed.  His thoughts include the essence of Ta'lim, Tarbiyah and Ta'dib, then the objectives of Islamic education, sources of Islamic education, principles of Islamic education, educators and students.  Apart from that, the results of this research show that Syekh Nawawi's thoughts about Islamic education are still relevant today.  The objectives, values and methods can be a guide for educators and students in realizing quality Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of the Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani paradigms in shaping a holistic and adaptive concept of Islamic education. These three paradigms—Bayani, which emphasizes religious texts; Burhani, which emphasizes logic and rationality; and Irfani, which focuses on intuition and inner understanding—are complementary epistemologies within Islam. The study employs a qualitative method with a literature review approach, where various relevant sources are analyzed in depth to understand how these paradigms can be integrated to develop an Islamic education system that meets modern challenges while preserving fundamental Islamic values. The findings indicate that the integration of the Bayani, Burhani, and Irfani paradigms produces an Islamic education concept that is not only relevant to contemporary contexts but also supports the holistic development of students' intellectual, emotional, and spiritual character. Through this integration, Islamic education can serve as a foundation for developing an adaptive, inclusive educational system aligned with Islamic identity.

Abstract

This study discusses the educational thought of Imam Shafi'i, exploring the fundamental concepts he offered and analyzing their implications for contemporary Islamic education. The research employs a qualitative approach with a literature review method. Imam Shafi'i emphasized the importance of a curriculum that fosters noble character, beneficial knowledge, and the integration of knowledge with faith. He stressed the need for educators to possess total commitment and integrity, for students to respect their teachers, and for a supportive environment for the educational process. He also advocated for a systematic approach to understanding the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as the development of intellectual and ethical capacities. The implications of these thoughts include the importance of a curriculum based on authentic sources that are relevant to the needs of the times and the role of educators as role models in ethics and morality. The relevance of Imam Shafi'i's thought in addressing the challenges of Islamic education in the modern era and globalization lies in his systematic approach, which can be adapted to modern educational technology, as well as his emphasis on the integration of knowledge and religion, character building, and the balance between worldly and spiritual knowledge. This abstract demonstrates that Imam Shafi'i's educational thought remains relevant and provides a strong foundation for the development of Islamic education amidst global dynamics.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in shaping students’ spiritual intelligence at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Cirebon. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, the study was conducted among Grade VII students. The results indicate that teachers play three main roles in developing students’ spiritual intelligence, namely as role models, religious guides, and motivators. As role models, teachers provide tangible examples through their behavior and acts of worship. As religious guides, they help students understand and practice Islamic teachings. As motivators, teachers encourage students to enhance their faith and piety. Moreover, students’ spiritual intelligence is also influenced by external factors such as family support, the students’ own willingness, and habitual practices in daily life. Thus, an optimal teacher role, supported by a conducive environment, significantly contributes to the strengthening of students’ spiritual intelligence.

Abstract

This study analyzes the challenges and opportunities in developing the competencies of Islamic religious education (PAI) teachers in the 21st century, focusing on using technology in learning. In the digital era, PAI teachers need to improve digital literacy and relevant pedagogical competencies. The research method used is library research with a descriptive-critical approach, collecting data from various academic sources regarding the competencies of PAI teachers in the 21st century. The results of this study indicate that the main challenges include limited digital literacy, teachers' reluctance to change traditional teaching methods, and minimal access to technology-based training. However, there are great opportunities for competency development through access to digital educational resources and online training programs. This study emphasizes the importance of digital literacy for teachers and their role as facilitators in creating an interactive and responsive learning environment to students' needs. By implementing an innovative approach to learning, it is hoped that the PAI teaching process will be more effective and relevant for students in the digital era. These findings provide recommendations for education policies to improve teacher training and technology integration in the PAI curriculum.
