Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to scrutinize the curriculum and learning methods in pesantren (Islamic boarding school)-based madrasahs in order to accomplish tafaqquh fi ad-din for students. This article also aims to identify the portion and balance between religious and general materials in the applied curriculum structure. In addition, this study explores the learning methods employed and their effectiveness in reinforcing an in-depth understanding of religion. The locus of the research is in Madrasah Aliyah Qudsiyyah Putri, a pesantren based madrasah. The approach used is qualitative with a case study design and descriptive analysis type. Data collection techniques encompass observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of the study show that Madrasah Aliyah Qudsiyyah Putri creates a balanced curriculum between religious and general education, which seeks to produce graduates who are intellectually intelligent and have noble morals. By integrating modern approaches, yellow books, and technology, this pesantren shapes students who are ready to face the challenges of the times and become agents of social change.

Abstract

Proses perkembangan sistem pembelajaran yang diterapkan di STAIN Kudus sepenuhnya diarahkan ke dalam transformasi menuju kepada pola-pola dasar yang yang telah dikonstitusikan. Dalam konstitusi keilmuan yang ingin dikembangkan, perspektif tentang Islam Transformatif menjadi landasarn utama pengembangan keilmuan yang dirumuskan.  Berpijak kepada beberapa kebijakan yang telah  dirumuskan oleh pemerintah, penelitian ini menelaah  landasan filosofis evaluasi pembelajaran dalam perspektif pengembangan keilmuan STAIN. Dari rumusan penelitian  ini, diperoleh hasil bahwa landasan  filosofis evaluasi yang dikembangkan di  STAIN Kudus dirancang seutuhnya bersandar kepada Pola Ilmiah Pokok yang telah ditetapkan. Usaha transformasi dari teks ke konteks, individu ke sosial, dari teoritis ke wilayah praksis menjadi lokomotif dasar dalam pengembangan kurikulum STAIN Kudus.Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, Pembelajaran, Kurikulum, FilosofisEVALUATION OF LEARNING SYSTEM (Reviewing Philosophic Evaluation of Teaching and Learning in STAIN Kudus). In the process of teaching and learning development,  a learning system that is applied in STAIN Kudus  fully geared towards the transformation  into the basic patterns that have been constituted. In the science constitution, a perspective on Transformative Islam becomes a major foundation in formulated  scientific development. Based on some policies that have been formulated  by the government, this research reviewed philosophy fondation of learning evaluation in the science development perspective of STAIN. This research revealed that the philosophical foundation of evaluation  developed  in STAIN Kudus is  designed  completely rely on the pattern of Principal Scientific predetermined. Abstract

 This study aims to determine Indonesian Islamic values' integration and internalization in building students’ personalities as teacher candidates. The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological approach. The data source comes from the head of FTIK Salatiga State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN), five lecturers, and 25 students. The study concludes: (1) stage of value transaction is conducted in every college activity either inside the class or in the campus environment by considering laws, social regulations, and obligations attached to every student in preparing them to return serving the community and state as well as religion. (2) Stage of the social contract. In this stage, the student has acted by considering that they have certain obligations toward society and certain obligations to them. (3) Trans-internalization stage; students have found values, and they regard them as universal values that influence an individual’s character. In all the steps, the more measures developed will be instilled within the student to take a strong effort and relatively-long enough time to reach the desired outcome.

Abstract

INTERNALIZATION OF SOCIO-CULTURAL VALUE BASED ON ETHNO-RELIGIOUS IN MAN YOGYAKARTA III. The phenomenon of violence in the name of religion, ethnicity, and culture has shown that humans have failed to understand heterogeneity, diversity, and plurality as main characteristics of the Islamic educational institutions, such as Madrasa. For responding that phenomenon, MAN Yogyakarta III (Mayoga) believes that they will create the humanist and inclusive education. This research with phenomenological approach and qualitative descriptive method was focused on best practice done by Mayoga, humanist and inclusive education. The results showed that the values of diversity in Mayoga were internalized in learning activities by integrating the values of religion, culture, and diversity. The integration generates socio-cultural values, such as appreciating ‘mazhab’ differences in religious practices, cultural assimilation and regional languages, tolerance and human rights, and social coherence among the school communities. Thus, the social values that grow in Mayoga can keep the values of social cohesion among people in Madrasa.

Abstract

Teachers' beliefs regarding multimedia learning are essential. This study aims to explore teachers' beliefs about multimedia learning in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Senior High School in Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. This research employed the mix-method QUAN-QUAL, the exploratory sequential design. Nine teachers were involved based on a purposive sampling technique. Twenty-three questionnaire items were constructed to collect the quantitative data. An interview guide was used to collect the qualitative data. The quantitative data was collected through a cross-sectional survey, and the qualitative data was collected through a semi-structured interview. The SPSS version 26 was utilized to analyze the quantitative. Moreover, thematic or coding analysis was used to analyze qualitative data. Multimedia learning was shown to have excellent potential to improve students' learning experiences. With proper implementation and adequate support, multimedia learning could effectively improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education. However, some challenges must be faced to achieve optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

SD Muhammadiyah Sumberejo adalah salah satu sekolah berbasis Islam dan juga merupakan sekolah inklusif di Kecamatan Karangmojo, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Studi ini bertujuan untuk  mengungkap : 1) Dinamika  pendidikan inklusif SD Muhammadiyah Sumberejo,  2) interaksi sosial para siswa SD Muhammadiyah Sumberejo , dan 3) Kerjasama sekolah, orangtua dan masyarakat dalam pengembangan pendidikan  inklusif di SD Muhammadiyah Sumberejo. Penelitian ini adalah jenis kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pendidikan inklusif di SD Muhammadiyah Sumberejo secara formal dimulai saat sekolah ini dijadikan salah satu sekolah untuk uji coba terbatas pendidikan terpadu oleh Puslitjak Balitbang, Depdiknas pada akhir tahun 90-an bersama 6 sekolah lain di gugus SDN Karangmojo III, Kecamatan Karangmojo, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Secara umum, sudah ada upaya dari sekolah agar tercipta  interaksi sosial yang baik antara siswa reguler dan siswa berkebutuhan khusus, namun kadang masih muncul praktik “eksklusif” dari siswa reguler terhadap siswa berkebutuhan khusus,  dan terjalin Kerjasama sekolah-orang tua-masyarakat yang membantu pengembangan pendidikan inklusif di sekolah misalnya dalam bentuk komunikasi dan sosialisas, komite bersama, dan kegiatan keagamaan bersama

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplanasikan perkembangan pendidikan Islam dan perannya dalam proses humanisasi di Gorontalo awal abad ke-20. Eksplanasi yang dihadirkan adalah ekpslanasi sejarah, sehingga metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian sejarah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkembangan pendidikan Islam di daerah Gorontalo pada awal abad XX sangat pesat dan dilatarbelakangi oleh 3 hal yakni pertama akses pendidikan, transportasi dan informasi yang semakin terbuka, kedua pandangan internal dari Islam itu sendiri tentang pentingnya ilmu, dan ketiga  sebagai respon terhadap masifnya penyebaran agama Kristen oleh pemerintah kolonial Belanda. Keberadaan sekolah-sekolah Islam telah memberikan kontribusi yang besar dalam kemanusiaan. Semakin banyaknya sekolah-sekolah yang didirikan oleh organisasi-organisasi Islam di Gorontalo, telah memberikan kesempatan kepada kelompok pribumi untuk memperoleh pendidikan. Implikasi dari semua itu adalah terbentuknya kesadaran masyarakat Gorontalo tentang arti penting persamaan derajat manusia, sehingga pada perkembangan selanjutnya lahirlah elite-elite lokal Gorontalo yang memperjuangkan kemerdekaan melalui organisasi-organisasi Islam sebagai bentuk proses humanisasi.       Kata Kunci : Pendidikan Islam, Humanisasi, Gorontalo

Abstract

Higher education institutions have a heavy task in carrying out the educational mandate, as they must be able to realize a unity between the knowledge, personality, and skills of students in carrying out religion in society. This study, thus, aims to determine the influence of students' religious experiences in schools on increasing their religious awareness and social concerns. This research employed a descriptive quantitative method with a correlation design. The research instrument was in the form of a questionnaire, with data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics and inference statistics. The results uncovered that students' religious experiences at school exerted a significant influence both on students' religious awareness, with a correlation value of 0.658 and on students' social concern, with a correlation value of 0.590. Students' religious experience at school had an influence of 43.29% on students' religious awareness and 34.8% on students' social concerns.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengajarkan agama menggunakan nilai-nilai etika dengan contoh dari keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat melalui  praktek ibadah, seperti puasa bersama, membaca dan memahami kitab suci Al-Qur’an. Dalam bahasan ini digunakan metode pustaka dengan menggunakan deskripsi analisis. Puasa akan menyebabkan orang untuk memiliki prinsip yang kuat, kesabaran, dan keikhlasan tidak menyerah dan memiliki solidaritas dan saling mencintai.  Ketika nilai dari sifat manusia kembali, maka nilai kesetaraan dan solidaritas akan mewarnai hari- hari siswa, puasa memiliki dimensi horizontal dengan kehidupan sosial yang kuat seperti amal, disajikan makanan anak-anak yatim, menjadi sabar ketika mendapat cobaan. Setelah bulan Ramadan, siswa diajarkan kegiatan Sunah puasa bersama dua kali seminggu yaitu Senin-Kamis. Ide Sunah puasa adalah menjadi pengaruh yang sangat efektif pada pembentukan karakter siswa. kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, puasaAbstract STUDENTS’ CHARACTER EDUCATION TROUGH  THE FASTING. This study examine how the way to teach a religion using ethical values by example from the family,  school and community through the practice of worship, such as fasting together, reading and understanding the Qur’an. In the discussion, this study uses library risearch throught  analytical descriptive approach. Fasting will cause people to have strong principles, patience, and sincerity does not give up and have the solidarity and love each other. The result of this study show that the fasting is able to return, so at thet time. When the value of human nature came back, then the value of equality and solidarity will color the days of the student, fasting has a horizontal dimension with a strong social life such as charity, served meals the orphans, be  patient in accepting the  problem.  After  Ramadanin,  students are taught the activities of Sunnah  fasting together twice a week on Monday-Thursday. The idea of Sunnah  fasting is to be very effective influence on the formation of student character.Keywords: character education, fasting

Abstract

Scientific attitude in Islamic education learning is a demand in the newest curriculum. Psychological factors that determine it is self-efficacy and social support. This study aims to examine correlation between self-efficacy and social support with students' scientific attitudes in Islamic education learning, partially and simultaneously. Subjects were 152 Madrasa Ibtidaiyah students. Instruments used are scientific attitude, self-efficacy, and social support scales. Data analysis techniques used regression analysis. Results showed that there’s a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and students’ scientific attitude in Islamic education learning with r=0.367 and p=0.000 (p<0.05). There’s a significant positive correlation between social support and scientific attitude in Islamic education learning with r=0.381 and p=0.000 (p<0.05). There’s a positive and significant correlation between self-efficacy and social support simultaneously with scientific attitude in Islamic education learning with F=18.222 and p=0.000 (p<0.05).
