Abstract

This study aims to explore the efforts of school superintendents in managing the changes caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, which has led to a decline in the quality of process standards in schools, and to measure the results. Examining the issue of declining the quality of process standard by using change management strategy has not been conducted in earlier studies. This research used a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type. This research took place at elementary school in Ponorogo. The informants in this research consisted of school superintendents who are members of Ponorogo Branch of the Indonesian School Supervisors Association (APSI) as well as principals of elementary schools in Ponorogo. The results of this research revealed that: first, school supervisors have managed the changes that occur in their target schools through ADKAR steps combined with technology, namely: awareness, desire, knowledge, ability and reinforcement which are supported by using information technology. Second, the success of change management in improving the quality of process standards could be divided into three points, namely improvement, stagnation and decline.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang homeschooling dalam sudut pandang pendidikan islam dan undang-undang sisdiknas.  Berdasarkan hasil analisis kepustakaan,  diperoleh hasil bahwa homeschooling adalah sebuah kegiatan belajar yang dilakukan di rumah dan tidak di lembaga sekolah dengan sistem yang terprogram. Di Indonesia mempunyai pijakan yang sangat kuat yaitu berdasarkan undang- undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 Pasal 27 termasuk pendidikan informal, dasar lain yang bisa di jadikan pijakan adalah dasar filosofi yaitu pembukaan UUD 1945 dimana pemerintah diwajibkan melindungi seluruh rakyatnya.  Sedangkan  homeschooling berda- sarkan perspektif Pendidikan Islam mempunyai dasar dalam al- Qur’an dan as-Sunnah dan telah di lakukan oleh para penyebar agama Islam yang telah mendidik masyarakat Islam dengan nilai- nilai al-Qur’an di surau, masjid dan pondok pesantren.kata kunci: Homeschooling, Perspektif, Pendidikan, islamHOMESCHOOLING  IN THE PERSPEKTIVE  OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION AND SISDIKNAS RULES. This  study  aims  to examine about home schooling in islamic education and sisdiknas rules point of view. Based on the analysis of literature, the result showed that homeschooling  is a learning activity that is done at home and not in school institutions  with programmed  systems. Indonesia has a very strong foundation  to hold it.   That is based  on Law No. 20, 2003Article 27, including informal education. Another  foundation  is the basic philosophy of the opening of UUD 1945 in which the government is obliged  to protect all citizens. While  based on the perspective of Islamic Education, homeschooling has basis in the Qur’an and Sunnah and has been done by Muslim missionaries who have educated Islamic society with the values of the Koran in the mosque and boarding. Keywords: Homeschooling , Perspective, Islamic, Education

Abstract

This study reveals the role of MGMP SKI MA DIY in implementing KMA 183 and 184 in 2019. This research is a descriptive-analytical qualitative research. This study was conducted in Yogyakarta at the MGMP SKI MA DIY. Interviews, documentation, and observations were used to collect data. The study finds out that these roles include socialization, implementation, and monitoring of policies. Not only internal management meetings, but also management meetings with MGMP members are also held to socialize policy implementation. The policy is implemented in two ways: the determination of the work program as a guide for field activities, and the implementation of the work program as an MGMP progress report. Monitoring policy implementation uses two methods: extracting information from FGDs and distributing Google forms to track policy implementation. This research helps to develop MGMP MA SKI DIY in the future curriculum development.

Abstract

The research focused on the institutional transformation of Islamic religious education (PAI) in SMP Negeri 3 Dempet, Demak Regency. The purpose of the study was to determine the form of PAI institutional transformation at SMP Negeri 3 Dempet in Demak Regency, the design of the state Islamic school as a form of PAI institutional transformation, and the contribution of PAI institutional transformation to the academic quality of PAI. Methods of data collection were interviews, field observations, and documentation. Data were obtained from the principal, school committee, vice principal, PAI teacher, education staff, and students, with 30 respondents. The data were then analyzed using an interactive analysis model with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The study results revealed that 1) state Islamic school is a form of PAI institutional transformation at SMP Negeri 3 Dempet, Demak Regency, 2) state Islamic school was built through intracurricular, extracurricular, and co-curricular activities, and 3) to improve academic quality, the institutional transformation of PAI in SMP Negeri 3 Dempet, Demak Regency, was conducted through regular programs, regular tahfidz (memorization) programs, and tahfidz boarding programs. This research contributes to the finding of the state Islamic school as a model for PAI's institutional transformation in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the rejection of formal education by the Sedulur Sikep community. This study uses James Scott's theory of resistance to describe the forms and characteristics of resistance to formal education in Sedulur Sikep Kudus. This study employed qualitative research methods with an ethnographic approach to obtain data on community resistance to formal education. The data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results revealed that the forms of resistance carried out by the Sedulur Sikep Kudus community were closed forms of resistance. It can be interpreted as a conscious rejection of formal education through less systematic procedures. They consistently refuse to engage in formal education due to their commitment to upholding their ancestral traditions and teachings. Also, they harbor doubts about work-oriented formal education. Furthermore, the educational values taught by the Sedulur Sikep community align with Islamic educational values. This study limits its focus on the portrait of the Sedulur Sikep community's rejection of formal education and the relevance of Islamic educational values to the educational values of Sedulur Sikep Kudus. Consequently, further research is needed to complete this study.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan redefinisi ontologi aswaja dalam pendidikan ma`arif di era kontemporer. Pendekatan dalam peneltian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Makna Aswaja selalu mengalami pergeseran dari waktu ke waktu. Di sisi lain, konsep aswaja selalu memiliki makna yang berbeda ketika sudah berafiliasi dengan kelompok tertentu. Tak terkecuali, Nahdhatul Ulama sebagai organisasi kemasyarakatan juga memiliki konsep yang khas mengenai aswaja. Hal ini secara langsung berpengaruh pada lembaga-lembaga yang bernaung dibawahnya, seperti halnya Ma’arif. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, aswaja NU menjadi semakin ekslusif akibat dari pemahaman para pengikutnya. Banyak kritikan-kritikan dari para tokoh NU kontemporer yang muncul. Definisi aswaja kemungkinan besar akan kembali menjadi ekslusif di kalangan NU. Dari sini diperlukan definisi baru dari sudut pandang lain. Hasil dari kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sikap taat dan tunduk pada Allah secara total yang bermuara dari ilmu yang senantiasa diamalkannya adalah definisi baru dari Aswaja ditinjau dari sudut pandang ontologi yang penulis coba tawarkan dalam penulisan ini.Kata kunci: ontologi aswaja, pendidikan ma’arif, kontemporerREDEFINITION OF ASWAJA ONTOLOGY IN THE CONTEM- PORARY ERA OF MA’ARIF  EDUCATION.  This study aims to describe the redefinition of aswaja ontology in ma’arif education in the contemporary  era. The approach of this study is library research. The meaning of Aswaja has always experienced a shift from time to time. On the other hand, the concept of aswaja has always had a different meaning when it was affiliated with a particular group. No exception, Nahdhatul  Ulama as a civic organization   also  has a distinctive concepts regarding aswaja. It is directly influential on the institutions which take shelter below, as does Ma’arif. Along with the development of the times, aswaja NU are becoming increasingly exclusive as the result of understanding his followers understanding. Much of the criticisms from the contemporary proponents of NU has been appeared. The definition of aswaja will most likely return to being exclusive among NU. Consequently, it takes a new definition from another point of view. The result of this study sum that attitude of obedience and submission to God in total that rises from the science that always be applied is the new definition of Aswaja reviewed from the viewpoint of ontology that the writer tries to offer in this writing.Keywords: Aswaja ontology, ma’arif education, contemporary

Abstract

This article discusses the culture of instilling religious character. This research was conducted at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Sejangkung Sambas Regency. This research was focused on (1) curriculum, (2) student development, (3) educators and education staff management. The research approach used was qualitative. The analysis results show that (1) the curriculum used nationally refers to Ministry of Religion which is then developed with the students' learning development needs, (2) student coaching to develop their religious character through the habituation method by instilling religious values, discipline, and honesty, and ( 3) related to the management of educators and education staff, Tsanawiyah Madrasah carried out training programs, workshops, teacher meeting. These activities are efforts of madrasah to increase the educators and education staff knowledge and competencies.

Abstract

BUILDING BEHAVIOR AWARENESS OF MADRASA STUDENTS BY STRENGTHENING THE SPIRITUAL VALUES. The age of the students at the madrasa level is in the education age phase where students still have the nature of dependency on the authority of adults in the process of its development. Students as human are essentially have a good nature and always want to do good. However, sometimes they face a variety of challenges and barriers that affect them in behave. Strengthening spiritual values become important in the effort to protect the students’ character towards the formation of positive character. The purpose of this study besides to knowing how to build awareness of the Madrasa Ibtidaiyah students behaved through the inaugural spiritual, as well as to find out the steps in building awareness of the students to behave. Methods in this study focused more on the study of library research where researchers browse some literatures that discuss the consciousness in behave and spiritualism in building awareness of student behavior through spiritualism reinforcement of students in Madrasa Ibtidaiyah. The results of the study leads to a discussion of how student behavior much influenced by the state of one's soul and spirituality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the designed model fits the empirical model and whether attitudes toward social media use, subjective norms, self-efficacy, and intentions to use social media are factors in the social media use behavior in Madrasah Tsanawiyah students. The population in this study was all Madrasah Tsanawiyah students in Central Java. The sampling technique in this study was systematic sampling. It was conducted by taking each subject in the population until the number of the desired sample was met. The technique of analysis employed the structural equation model. Based on the analysis results, the requirements criteria were Chi-Square 165.472 (DF= 81, p=0.000), CMIN/DF=2.043, GFI= 0.947, AGFI= 0.922, TLI= 0.940, and RMSEA= 0.051. Then, the proposed model could be said to be fit or fulfilled. Thus, it can be stated that the proposed model design was not significantly different from the empirical data. Under the study results, the determination coefficient (R²) of the social media use intention (R²) was 0.03, meaning that only 3% could be explained or predicted through the variables of attitude toward using social media, subjective norms, and self-efficacy. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R²) of social media use behavior was 0.29, indicating that 29% could be explained or predicted through the variables of social media use attitudes, subjective norms, self-efficacy, and intentions.

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the institutional profile at the Miftahul Khoir University Student Islamic Boarding School, Bandung in implementing Islamic education. This study employed a qualitative approach and descriptive method. In this study, the researchers acted as the instrument. The techniques of collecting the data were carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Then, the techniques of analyzing the data covered data reduction, data display, coding, and drawing conclusions. In order to test the validity of the data, the researchers conducted a credibility test by conducting research persistence, triangulation, adding references, and member check. Based on the results of the study, the vision, mission and objectives of Islamic education in this Islamic boarding school are to integrate the life of the world and the hereafter. The education curriculum in this Islamic boarding school consists of the syllabus programs and non-syllabus programs. In addition, the teachers also have different scientific chain of narration or sanad, the majority of students are university students, and the education staff consists of the boarding school administrators and students or santri. In relation to the infrastructure, it is quite complete and the education evaluation is also quite comprehensive. The Miftahul Khoir University Student Islamic Boarding School, Bandung is considered as a boarding school that is capable of carrying out Islamic education because it is equipped with the adequate educational components.
