Abstract

Kajian penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran secara utuh bagaimana sebuah lembaga pendidikan terbuka SMP Alternatif Qoriyah Thoyyibah Salatiga dalam membangun budaya sekolah. Sebuah institusi yang dapat berdiri berdasarkan dukungan lingkungan dan mampu memberikan kontribusi kepada warganya dimana anak-anak mereka mendapatkan pendidikan yang murah, dekat, namun berkualitas.  Beberapa rumusan masalah yang akan dijawab diantaranya (1)  Bagaimanakah penyelenggaraan pendidikan SMP Terbuka Qoriyah Thoyyibah  Salatiga dalam membangun budaya sekolahnya?  (2)  Bagaimanakah  dampak budaya sekolah tersebut terhadap kehidupan akademisnya? (3) Gejala budaya manakah yang berdampak terhadap pembentukan sistem  kehidupan  akademis yang  kondusif ?   Penelitian    ini menggunakan jenis penelitian   deskriptif   kualitatif   dengan pendekatan etnografi. Metode etnografi adalah metode penelitian kualitatif yang mengkaji perilaku manusia dalam setting alamiah dengan fokus interpretasi budaya terhadap perilaku  manusia. Hal ini dpandang tepat menggingat setting sekolah merupakan komunitas budaya atau merupakan komunitas masyarakat yang terdiri dari berbagai macam responden.kata kunci: pendidikan, budaya, sistem akademisTHE IMPLICATION OF SCHOOL CULTURE TO ACADEMIC LIFE VALUE. This research study aims to obtain a full description about how an educational  institution  opened in SMP Alternatif Qoriyah Thoyyibah Salatiga to build a school culture. An institution can be established under the support of the environment and able to contribute to its citizens where their children get a cheap, close education and have high quality. The statements of the problem were: (1) How was the provision of SMP Alternatif Qoriyah Thoyyibah Salatiga in building a school culture? (2) What was the cultural impact of the school on academic  life? (3) Which  cultural symptoms that affect the establishment of a conducive  academic  life? This  research used descriptive qualitative  research with an ethnographic approach. It was a qualitative research method that examines human  natural attitudes focusing on the culture interpretation toward the human’s behavior. It is appropriate  since The school setting is cultural  community  which includes various respondents.keywords: education, culture, academic systems

Abstract

The implementation of learning Islamic Religious Education and Morals at Al Alif Blora Vocational School turns out to have entrepreneurial value in it which is the basis for carrying out this research. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach. Data obtained through non-participatory observation, semi-structured interviews and documentation with data analysis utilizing Miles and Huberman's theory. The results of this study indicate that the learning carried out at SMK Al Alif Blora contains several entrepreneurial values, namely the core activities in the form of the values of Independence, self-confidence, originality, creativity, and courage in taking risks. Then in the closing activity there are values of confidence, originality, and result oriented. Evaluation activities also have entrepreneurial values in them, namely self-confidence through assignments that must be done independently in the form of writing, photos and videos in order to bring independence to students. Human-oriented values, namely giving assignments by giving assignments in groups with the demand for cooperation between students in order to raise awareness that humans are social creatures and originality as seen from the follow-up activities given by the teacher to students.

Abstract

Abstract Early Childhood Islamic Education (PIAUD) in Yogyakarta is faced with political and academic and even theological dilemmas. On the one hand, PIAUD is required by the community to conduct reading, writing and numeracy (Calistung) reading, including Read Al-Qur'an (BTAQ), but on the other hand the Directorate General (Dirjen) of PAUD prohibits it. The purpose of this study is to describe the types of learning calistung and BTAQ in Yogyakarta in the study of neuroscience, both from the side of teachers, students, learning materials, strategy and evauasi. This research was conducted throughout 2017 involving nine PIAUD institutions in Yogyakarta. The research approach used is qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation and documentation. The collected data are analyzed descriptively, interpretatively, and comparative based on neuroscience learning theories. The results showed that PIAUD in Yogyakarta can be placed into three, namely PIAUD robotik, academic and scientific. PIAUD robotik is PIAUD at risk of damaging the brains of children for doing the malls of learning practices (calistung & BTAQ). Academic early childhood is PIAUD risky membonsai brain of children because all learning activities only oriented to the mastery of calistung and memorizing Alqur'an. PIAUD Scientific is PIAUD oriented to the optimization of brain potential of children, because all learning activities are structured based on the characteristics of development and workings of the child's brain. Abstrak Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD) di Yogyakarta dihadapkan pada dilema politis dan akademis bahkan teologis. Di satu sisi PIAUD dituntut masyarakat untuk menyelenggarkan pemebelajaran membaca, menulis dan berhitung (Calistung), termasuk Baca Tulis Al-Qur’an (BTAQ) namun di sisi lain Direktorat Jenderal (Dirjen) PAUD melarangnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendiskripsikan tipe-tipe pembelajaran calistung dan BTAQ di Yogyakarta dalam kajian neurosains, baik dari sisi guru, siswa, materi pembelajaran, strategi dan evauasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan sepanjang tahun 2017 dengan melibatkan sembilan lembaga PIAUD di Yogyakarta. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data-data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif, interpretatif, dan komparatif berlandaskan teori-teori pembelajaran neurosains. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PIAUD di Yogyakarta dapat dipetakkan menjadi tiga, yakni PIAUD robotik, akademik dan saintifik. PIAUD robotik adalah PIAUD yang beresiko merusak otak anak karena melakukan mal praktik pembelajaran (calistung & BTAQ). PAUD akademik adalah PIAUD yang beresiko membonsai otak anak karena semua kegiatan pembelajaran hanya diorientasikan pada penguasaan calistung dan hafalan Alqur’an. PIAUD Saintifik adalah PIAUD yang berorientasi pada optimalisasi potensi otak anak, karena semua kegiatan pembelajaran disusun berdasarkan karakteristik perkembangan dan cara kerja otak anak.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of ecosufism-based learning in pesantren and its role in shaping environmentally conscious students while achieving mental balance. This research was conducted at Al Mawaddah Islamic Boarding School in Kudus and Edi Mancoro Islamic Boarding School in Salatiga. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive thematic approach. The Al-Mawaddah Islamic Boarding School integrates the agricultural sector as a medium to cultivate students with spiritual, intellectual, leadership, and entrepreneurial excellence. Students uphold agricultural environments through eco-friendly practices as devotion to Allah. Meanwhile, the Edi Mancoro Islamic Boarding School incorporates ecosufism into the curriculum of its Islamic boarding school and affiliated educational institutions.  Creating aesthetically pleasing surroundings while preserving a rural atmosphere reflects the institution's commitment to upholding eco-conscious and traditional practices. An Islamic-based environmental curriculum should address global challenges, promote environmental appreciation, and align with Islamic principles in education.

Abstract

Pendidikan islam semakin berkembang. Hal ini ditandai dengan eksistensi Sekolah   Islam,  khususnya Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah yang membuka program tahfidz. Dalam penelitian  ini, peneliti menganalisis (1)  Bagaimana pelaksanaan  pendidikan Islam di MI Tahfidz Al-Qur’an  Krandon Kudus?; dan (2)  Bagaimana keberhasilan pendidikan Islam di MI Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Krandon Kudus, yang di dasarkan pada tahfidz (penghafalan) Al-Qur’an?. Penelitian  kualitatif ini menggunakan beberapa metode dalam memperoleh datanya. Yaitu dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi.  Hasil  penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pelaksanaan pendidikan Islam di MI Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Krandon Kudus menggunakan beberapa metode, yaitu ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab, demonstrasi atau eksperimen, resitasi dan drill; (2) keberhasilan pendidikan Islam di MI Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Krandon Kudus, yang di dasarkan pada tahfidz (penghafalan ) Al-Qur’an dibuktikan dengan  prestasi siswa dan terwujudnya lingkungan masyarakat  yang mendukung pembelajaran  di pesantren dan madrasah.Kata kunci: Keberhasilan, Tahfidz, al-Qur’an, pendidikan, islamANALYSIS OF THE SUCCESS DIMENSIONS OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION IN MI TAHFIDZ AL-QUR’AN KRANDON KUDUS. Islamic education always develops. It can be seen from the existence  of islamic  school, especially Islamic  Elementary   Schools (MI) which have tahfidz (learning Qur’an by heart)  program. In this research, the researcher analysed (1) how is the implementation of islamic education in MI Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Krandon Kudus?; and (2) how is the success of islamic education  in MI Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Krandon  Kudus?. This qualitative  research used some methods  to get data.  Those are observation, interview, and documentation. The result showed that (1) the implementation of islamic education in MI Tahfidz Al-Qur’an  Krandon  Kudus used  some  methods,  like observation,  discussion,  asking  and answering ,  demonstration   or experiment, recitation and drill; (2) the success of islamic education in MI Tahfidz Al-Qur’an Krandon Kudus is proved by the students’ achievement and the environment which supports the teaching and learning process in pesantren and islamic schools.Keywords: Success, Tahfidz, Al-Qur’an, education, islam

Abstract

Teachers are obliged to possess authority to increase pedagogical interaction effectivity. However, there has been a shift in the meaning of authority so that an in-depth study is carried out on the dimensions of teacher authority, factors that influence the teacher authority, and the dynamics of teacher authority in Madrasah based of Islamic boarding school (pesantren). This research is a qualitative research by using interview, observation and documentation methods to collect the data. The data analysis includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results show: 1) Authority is defined as strength to be admired accompanied by respect so as to bring obedience. The dimensions of teacher authority include spiritual, cognitive, affective, skills, social and physical: 2) There are at least 3 (three) factors that can increase the teacher authority, namely assertiveness, responsibility and patience; 3) The teachers authority from inside the pesantren (ndalem) is in the form of traditional authority, while teachers from outside the pesantren must strive to gain authority in the form of charismatic authority or even legal rational authority.

Abstract

THE HUMANIZATION OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION THROUGH TRANSENDENTAL ANTROPOLOGY OF HAMZAH FANSURI. Every educational plan surely has an accurate basic assumption about humanity. The failure in determining the accuracy of humanity ontology and epistemology will certainly make the failure of the initiated education implementation. Therefore, every educational implementation must have a humanity philosophical concept in accordance with its ontological and epistemological realities. Islamic education today has not have a clear ontological and epistemological foundation yet. As a result, there are many philosophical issues that arise in the implementation of Islamic education especially dehumanity. This paper examined the philosophical foundations and practices of Islamic education through the transcendental anthropology of Hamzah Fansûrî. The constrtuction of Islamic education humanization was done through Ruba'i Hamzah Fansûrî’s Syair (traditional poetry) which has been explained by his student, Syams al-Dîn al-Sumatra'î. This paper reveals that transcendental anthropology of Hamzah Fansûrî is very suitable with the values of humanity in Pancasila (the philosophical basis of the Indonesian state), therefore, it is worth being the ontological and epistemological basis for the theory and practice of the implementation of Islamic Education in Indonesia. The paper suggests that the teachings of Hamzah Fansûrî be embodied in the basis of various segments of the social sciences, especially Islamic education, in order to create a peaceful and inclusive Islam that fits the noble values of Pancasila.

Abstract

This article examined the strengthening of Aswaja An-Nahdliyah’s understanding as an effort to anticipate radicalism for Islamic education teacher candidates at the Faculty of Tarbiyah, Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya. The type of this article was qualitative with a Participatory Action Research approach and the method of extracting initial condition data and coaching related to Aswaja An-Nahdliyah material as an effort to anticipate radicalism for Islamic education teacher candidates in the fifth semester of the Academic Year 2021-2022. The results demonstrated that strengthening Aswaja An-Nahdliyah provides an understanding of the map of radical groups and movements; Aswaja An-Nahdliyah teachings and attitudes teach religious moderation as a basis for anticipating and avoiding radicalism teachings and attitudes; Aswaja An-Nahdliyah’s teachings are full of religious tolerance, which helps to block radicalism. This issue is very important considering that even though Sunan Ampel State Islamic University Surabaya, as an Islamic university, is not free from radical infiltration, strengthening Aswaja is necessary to anticipate this, especially for Islamic education teacher candidates.

Abstract

Gunung Kemukus is one of the most sacred regions in Sragen, Central Java. In that area, there is tomb of Pangeran Samudera who is known as an Islamic disseminator of Majapahit descent who received religious guidance from Sunan Kalijaga. However, the spiritual sacredness is damaged by the practice of rituals of self enrichment with committing seven times of sexual adultery rituals on Jumat Pon. Ironically, this practice was responded to fairly by the community that knows the religion values well. This condition is caused by the mindset formed so that the grave pilgrimage ritual followed by the practice of prostitution is a legitimate activity and does not conflict with social and religious norms. This research examined more about how the reconstruction of Islamic education held in the region so that the later generation has begun to change their mindset in response to the rituals on Gunung Kemukus. It is expected that this Islamic education model will support the policy of Sragen Regency government that tries to control the tourist sites of Gunung Kemukus which are often used as prostitution locations covered by grave pilgrimages and self enrichment rituals.
Integration of Theology, Education, and Activism: Exploring Eco-Theological Discourse and Muhammadiyah’s Environmental Engagement

Abstract

Environmental degradation and climate change are urgent ethical and theological challenges prompting faith-based responses. In Islam, the principles of tauhid (oneness), khilafah (stewardship), and amanah (sacred trust) are reframed into an ecological ethic affirming environmental care as a religious duty. This study aims to explore how Muhammadiyah constructs its eco-theological discourse by analyzing peer-reviewed works from 2021 to 2024 through an integrative literature review and summary matrix. The analysis identifies three core dimensions: theology, education, and activism. Muhammadiyah expands al-Ma’un theology to include ecological justice, embeds environmental values in educational institutions, and promotes activism through legal advocacy, fatwas, and grassroots movements. These efforts position Muhammadiyah as an ethical force in environmental governance. Findings reveal a holistic, replicable model integrating theology, education, and civic action. The study also acknowledges limitations, including limited institutional resources and the absence of empirical evaluation of long-term impacts.
