Abstract

This research paper presents a case study analysis of the experiences of master's degree students during online classes amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on participants from Butwal, Nepal and various other regions. The study involved interviews with ten students and five teachers who actively engaged in online learning during this period. The findings reveal that the COVID-19 pandemic had a profound impact, leading to widespread disruptions, including significant economic challenges that continue to affect many nations. The pandemic altered nearly every aspect of human life, bringing about substantial changes in people's lifestyles. The study highlights that a majority of students encountered difficulties related to internet connectivity, which hindered their ability to participate in classes effectively and grasp key concepts. Moreover, many students reported lack of adequate knowledge of online learning tools, further complicating their educational experience. Similarly, teachers reported facing challenges in managing online classes, primarily due to issues with internet connectivity. The insights gained from this study underscore the need for enhancing teachers' technical proficiency and call for improved regulation of internet and electricity services to better support online education in future crises.

Abstract

This study explores the differences between kernel intersections and individual kernel spaces in Hilbert spaces. These differences are crucial for understanding the relationship between linear operators and their compositions. The main findings establish necessary conditions for the inequality dim (Ker (AB)) ≥ dim (Ker(A)) + dim (Ker (B) ∩ B′) to hold, where A and B are bounded linear operators, Ker denotes the kernel, and B′ is the image of B. The proofs rely on Hilbert space properties, closed subspaces, and operator ranges. Although the results are presented in the context of Hilbert spaces, the authors discuss potential extensions to other spaces with similar properties. The paper concludes by emphasizing the broader relevance of these inequalities in various fields of mathematics, including functional analysis, optimization, and potentially other disciplines that deal with continuous quantities.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the alleviation program of uninhabitable houses (RTLH) and identify supporting factors, obstacles, and implementation efforts. The research was conducted in Kepanjen Sub-district, Malang Regency. The data analysis technique used qualitative analysis. The findings show that the RTLH assistance program in Kepanjen Sub-district significantly benefits people experiencing poverty, such as improved building quality, health, and welfare. The program was implemented with the active role of the village and neighborhood group governments in collecting data on residents in need and supported by good socialization that facilitated the implementation process. The main supporting factors include cooperation between related parties, clear regulations, and active participation of residents. However, there are obstacles in the complicated procedures for distributing assistance, limited funds that cause some residents not to be covered, long bureaucracy, and land issues that do not belong to residents. Efforts are needed to overcome these obstacles. It is hoped that related parties will simplify overlapping regulations and increase funding allocations so that the RTLH program can cover more poor people to alleviate poverty.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of the School Operational Assistance Fund management policy and identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research was conducted at Public Elementary School 1 Brotonegaran, Ponorogo Regency. The data analysis technique used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The findings in the study show that implementing the BOS Fund management policy at Public Elementary School 1 Brotonegaran has been running quite well, although it still faces various challenges. Analysis based on the Edward III theory revealed that communication between school principals and the management team was quite evident through training and technical guidelines. However, socialization to student guardians is still not optimal. Regarding resources, limited funds, and untimely disbursements are the main obstacles. School principals, BOS treasurers, and operators' commitment to managing the funds was relatively high, but coordination with external parties was less effective. In addition, the bureaucracy in the verification and validation process of the funds often delayed the disbursement, which impacted the smooth implementation of school programs. The results of this study will contribute to providing recommendations for increasing the transparency of communication with student guardians, optimizing the budget, improving the disbursement of funds, training managers, and periodic monitoring and evaluation for the effectiveness of BOS fund management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the regional regulation policy on Edu Sampah Cipta Kerja, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. The research location was the Reduce-Reuse-Recycle Integrated Waste Management Site (TPST 3R) in Mulyoagung Village, Dau District, Malang Regency. The data analysis technique uses a qualitative method that collects, reduces, presents data, and draws conclusions interactively and continuously. The results showed that implementing the Edu Sampah Cipta Kerja program in Mulyoagung Village increased community understanding and participation in community-based waste management. Effective communication and policy transparency strengthened community involvement despite initial resistance. The bureaucratic structure in the TPST 3R managed by the Community Self-Help Group (KSM) is running well but requires operational consistency. Dispositional factors reflect the high commitment of relevant institutions, but policy sustainability still depends on financial and labor management. The main supporting factor is the synergy between the government and the community, while the biggest challenge is the limited operational workforce. Continued support and improvement of human resources are key to the sustainability of waste management in Mulyoagung Village. It is expected that the results of this study contribute to improving the effectiveness of the Edu Sampah Cipta Kerja program through continuous socialization, financial transparency, evaluation of the payroll system, and participatory monitoring for the sustainability of waste management in Mulyoagung Village.

Abstract

The relationship between public revenue, public expenditure, and economic growth has been a subject of extensive debate in economic literature. This study investigates the dynamics between public revenue, public expenditure, and economic growth in Nepal over the period from 1975 to 2022, utilizing co-integration and Granger causality tests. The results of the analysis reveal a unidirectional causal relationship from nominal GDP to government revenue, suggesting that nominal GDP is a significant determinant of government revenue in the short run. The study underscores the importance of economic growth in forecasting public revenue, providing valuable insights into fiscal policy formulation and economic planning in Nepal.
