Abstract

Tradisi Yasinan dan Tahlilan merupakan praktik keagamaan yang mengakar kuat di masyarakat Muslim Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran Yasinan dalam pembentukan serta penguatan nilai ukhuwah islamiyah dan solidaritas sosial di Desa Bagorwetan, Nganjuk. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus deskriptif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui pengamatan langsung terhadap interaksi sosial masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Yasinan bukan sekadar ritual keagamaan melainkan juga berfungsi sebagai media dakwah, sarana silaturahmi, dan wadah untuk mengingat kematian serta mendoakan orang meninggal. Praktik Yasinan di Desa Bagorwetan dilakukan secara rutin diselenggarakan di rumah warga secara bergiliran. Selain itu, Yasinan juga dilakukan pada peringatan setelah meninggalnya seseorang atau saat akan bepergian jauh. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti kelelahan masyarakat setelah beraktivitas atau benturan dengan kegiatan keagamaan lain, Yasinan tetap kental dan relevan di era milenial.

Abstract

Nglayang Village is one of the villages with a majority of Muslim population and has a strong religious tradition. Although there is a strong religious tradition, the observation results actually indicate that there are issues related to the practice of purification (thaharah) that are not in accordance with sharia rules. Some residents still apply the wrong way of purification, both related to small and large hadas, which can potentially affect the validity of prayer. The implementation team carried out community service activities using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method through the fiqh taharah literacy program. This activity involves religious leaders, young people, and the wider community through training, discussions, and simulations of purification practices in accordance with Islamic teachings. The results of the activities show an increase in people's knowledge and skills in carrying out taharah, as well as increasing awareness of the importance of correct purification for the validity of worship and the preservation of spiritual values in daily life

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam mendorong perekonomian nasional, namun masih menghadapi tantangan dalam memperoleh legalitas usaha, khususnya sertifikasi halal. Di Desa Bandarkedungmulyo, Kabupaten Jombang, mayoritas UMKM bergerak di bidang pangan olahan tetapi belum memiliki Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB) dan sertifikat halal. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mendampingi pelaku UMKM dalam memperoleh legalitas usaha dan mendaftarkan sertifikasi halal, guna meningkatkan daya saing dan kepercayaan konsumen. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi koordinasi dengan perangkat desa, sosialisasi kepada pelaku UMKM, pendampingan pembuatan NIB melalui sistem Online Single Submission (OSS), serta pendaftaran sertifikasi halal melalui aplikasi SiHalal dengan dukungan Pendamping Proses Produk Halal (P3H). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan sebanyak 18 UMKM dari tiga dusun (Kedungasem, Bra’an, dan Kedunggabus) bersedia didampingi. Seluruh UMKM berhasil memperoleh NIB, menyelesaikan validasi dokumen oleh P3H, dan mengajukan sertifikat halal kepada Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH). Hambatan administratif seperti ketidaksesuaian Klasifikasi Baku Lapangan Usaha Indonesia (KBLI) dapat diatasi melalui pendampingan intensif. Monitoring dilakukan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan proses hingga sertifikat halal diterbitkan. Program ini terbukti meningkatkan literasi halal, mempercepat legalitas usaha, serta membuka peluang pasar yang lebih luas. Ke depan, UMKM perlu terus didampingi untuk menjaga standar halal serta memanfaatkan pemasaran digital agar mampu bersaing secara berkelanjutan di pasar lokal maupun global.

Abstract

Desa Carangrejo di Kecamatan Kesamben, Kabupaten Jombang, sering mengalami banjir akibat keterbatasan kapasitas saluran Afvour Watudakon dan tingginya debit Sungai Ngongseng saat musim hujan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi elevasi tanah serta merumuskan langkah teknis pengendalian banjir. Survei dilakukan sepanjang 1,8 km dengan metode pengukuran elevasi menggunakan theodolit digital, aplikasi pemetaan (Avenza, QField, QGIS), citra Google Maps, dan data DEMNAS. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa saluran Afvour Watudakon memiliki kedalaman lebih dangkal dibanding Sungai Ngongseng dengan selisih rata-rata 0,71 meter, sehingga lebih berpotensi meluap ke area persawahan. Berdasarkan analisis, dua strategi direkomendasikan, yaitu peninggian tanggul jalan setapak dengan kebutuhan tanah urug sekitar 2.860 m³ dan pengerukan saluran Afvour Watudakon sepanjang 690 meter dengan volume galian 1.469,7 m³. Tanah hasil pengerukan dapat digunakan kembali untuk penambahan tanggul. Strategi ini dinilai efisien dan realistis karena memanfaatkan sumber daya lokal untuk meminimalisir risiko banjir.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat budaya literasi anak melalui penerapan model play date sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan partisipatif. Sasaran kegiatan ini adalah anak-anak usia 5–10 tahun di Karasidenan Madiun. Model play date dilaksanakan melalui serangkaian kegiatan membaca bersama, membaca nyaring (read aloud), permainan berbasis cerita, serta diskusi ringan yang melibatkan orang tua dan pendamping. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama tiga kali setiap akhir pekan selama bulan September dengan metode pendampingan langsung. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan minat baca anak, kemampuan memahami isi bacaan, serta antusiasme mereka dalam kegiatan literasi. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua akan pentingnya dukungan lingkungan keluarga dalam menumbuhkan budaya literasi sejak dini. Dengan demikian, model play date dapat menjadi alternatif strategi efektif dalam penguatan budaya literasi anak di masyarakat. The target participants are children aged 5–10 years in the Karesidenan Madiun area, which includes several districts with diverse social backgrounds. The Play Date model was carried out through a series of activities such as shared reading, story-based games, read aloud, and light discussions involving parents and facilitators. The program was conducted over one month through several direct mentoring sessions. The results showed an increase in children's reading interest and active engagement in literacy activities, as well as improved parental awareness of the importance of creating a family environment that supports literacy habits. This activity demonstrates that the Play Date model is effective in strengthening children's literacy culture in the community and in fostering collaboration among families, schools, and local communities to cultivate a love of literacy from an early age. Abstract

Abstract. This community service program aims to strengthen the role of mothers as emotional therapists for early childhood through psychoeducation and emotional support practices. The activity was held at the Cukir Sugar Factory Kindergarten, Jombang Regency, on December 17, 2025, targeting 34 participating mothers. The method used was practice-based psychoeducation, which included the delivery of material on early childhood emotional development, interactive discussions, simulations, role plays, and direct practice in using emotional therapy sentences when accompanying children. The activity was evaluated through pre- and post-measurements of the mothers' understanding, observations during practice, and joint reflection with the participants. The results of the activity showed an increase in mothers' understanding of the functions and types of children's emotions, an increase in their ability to respond to children's emotions empathetically, and an increase in their skills in using emotional therapy sentences. In addition, mothers' confidence in accompanying their children's emotions also increased after participating in the activity. The impact of the community service was seen in the change in the pattern of interaction between mothers and children, which became warmer, more responsive, and more supportive of children's emotional regulation. This activity also strengthened the synergy between the school and parents in supporting the social-emotional development of early childhood. This community service program is expected to become a model for simple, applicable psychoeducational interventions that can be replicated in other early childhood education units.

Abstract

Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) merupakan identitas resmi bagi warga negara Indonesia. Proses pengajuannya harus mudah diakses, efektif, dan efisien.Kesesuaian jam operasional layanan seringkali tidak selaras dengan waktu luang masyarakat,Khususnya bagi meraka yang mempunyai kesibukan lain di pagi hari. Penelitian pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan mesin anjungan yang terpasang di “Rumah Rakyat” Desa Carangrejo, Kesamben, Jombang, sebagai sarana layanan publik mandiri untuk mencetak formulir pengajuan KTP. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi masalah, analisis kebutuhan, perancangan solusi, pembangunan sistem, dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan identifikasi, masalah utama adalah rendahnya pemanfaatan mesin anjungan. Solusi yang diusulkan adalah pengembangan sistem informasi bernama “Aminduk” (Administrasi Kependudukan) menggunakan HTML dan JavaScript, yang memungkinkan masyarakat mencetak formulir permohonan KTP secara mandiri, kapan saja, tanpa terbatas oleh waktu operasional insatnsi. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem Aminduk berhasil dibangun, diinstalasi pada mesin anjungan, dan diuji coba. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah optimalisasi mesin anjungan melalui sistem Aminduk merupakan terobosan inovatif yang meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik, menciptakan efisiensi waktu bagi masyarakat, dan memperkuat transparansi serta sinergi antara pemerintah desa dan warganya. Abstract

This community service research is entitled "Mentoring Critical Opinion Writing and Ethical Communication on Social Media for Students of SMAN 3 Denpasar." The goal is to respond to the phenomenon of intensive social media use that is often not balanced with adequate critical thinking skills and communication ethics. Through structured mentoring, this research aims to improve students' ability to write structured, fact-based, and responsible opinions, while also strengthening ethical awareness when communicating on social media. The method used is a community service approach with a series of activities: socialization, critical opinion writing workshops, ethical social media simulations, and reflections with teachers and students. The results of the implementation show that this mentoring was able to significantly increase students' understanding, as evidenced by the pre-test and post-test questionnaire results which showed a 45% increase in the understanding of social media ethics (from an initial average of 40% to 85%). In addition, this mentoring helped students distinguish facts from opinions, reduce provocative comments, and develop more polite and ethical communication habits in the digital space. This research emphasizes the importance of the role of schools in designing digital literacy and communication ethics mentoring programs so that social media can become an educational space, not just a space for entertainment without reflection. In addition, this mentoring activity also provided students of SMAN 3 Denpasar with the opportunity to participate in a student journalism competition held by Jawa Pos Radar Bali, where they won third place in the hard news category and first place in the feature category.

Abstract

Village cooperatives play a strategic role in supporting the rural economy, yet many still face challenges in developing business programs. The Merah Putih Village Cooperative, a new cooperative in the community, is one such cooperative that will require management to understand how to plan its business effectively. A well-developed business program will optimize cooperative performance. This community service activity aims to improve the cooperative's management's ability to develop the Merah Putih cooperative's business program. The implementation method includes data collection through interviews and observations, training and evaluation, and ongoing mentoring. The results indicate that the Merah Putih jombang city Village Cooperative management has improved its understanding of business planning, as well as its understanding of the village's potential, enabling it to create more organized, structured, and accurate cooperative plans. Developing a cooperative business plan will help guide the development of the cooperative, achieving optimal results and providing benefits to members and the community. This mentoring activity is expected to improve the knowledge and human resources of the Merah Putih Village Cooperative management, enabling the cooperative to progress and provide added value to the village community.

Abstract

Pandansili Tourism Site in Ngampungan Village, Bareng District, Jombang Regency, is a bathing tourism destination developed by the village-owned enterprise and Tourism Awareness Group since 2019. The situational analysis indicates that the partner requires renewable-energy innovation to reduce operational costs, strengthen educational tourism, and improve management capacity. This community service program utilizes spring-water overflow through a picohydro power plant design using an axial turbine. The technical data refer to the ZD760-LM-(18-20) axial-flow turbine-generator with 220 V AC rated voltage, 2 kW rated power, 1-5 m operating head, 0.02-1.0 m3/s water-flow range, and continuous-duty operation. At a nominal head of 3 m with turbine efficiency of 0.65 and generator efficiency of 0.85, the discharge required to produce 2 kW is approximately 0.123 m3/s. The implementation method consists of partner coordination, discharge and head survey, SWOT analysis, intake-turbine-generator-control-panel design, operation-maintenance training, and energy-utilization evaluation. The SWOT analysis shows an IFE score of 5.56 and an EFE score of 5.01, placing Pandansili development in Quadrant I with an aggressive/offensive strategy. The energy output is directed to tourism-area lighting, renewable-energy educational information boards, simple sensor/monitoring loads, and demonstration loads. The program is expected to improve energy independence, add educational tourism value, and strengthen Pokdarwis competence in managing appropriate technology based on local potential.
