Abstract

Conventional Arabic speaking instruction (Maharah Kalam) often faces significant challenges, including limited practice time, lack of interactive environments, and low student confidence. This study aims to analyze the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in developing Maharah Kalam, focusing on its implementation forms, effectiveness, and inherent challenges. Utilizing a qualitative approach with the library research method, data were gathered from reputable journals, books, and scientific publications, then processed through content analysis. The results reveal that AI integration via chatbots, speech recognition, and adaptive platforms such as Duolingo and ChatGPT provides a personalized, interactive, and non-judgmental environment for real-time feedback. These technologies significantly enhance pronunciation accuracy, speaking fluency, and student autonomy. In conclusion, while AI acts as a powerful catalyst for pedagogical innovation, its success relies on a balanced synergy with the teacher’s role in providing cultural context and ethical guidance. This study recommends an adaptive strategy to optimize digital tools for modern Arabic communication proficiency.

Abstract

The findings reveal that each culture possesses its unique communication techniques, shaped by its social and historical context. American culture values directness, originality, and efficiency in communication, whereas British culture prioritises politeness and indirectness. Canadian culture is a mixture of civility and multicultural awareness, but Australian culture is characterised by informality, humour and equality. Such differences have a real impact on how people use English in everyday life, including how they communicate their ideas, make requests, and relate to others. Ignoring cultural context when using language might lead to misunderstandings. Therefore, attaining effective communication requires cultural awareness. This study emphasises how crucial it is to incorporate cultural awareness into English language instruction to foster intercultural competency. In conclusion, English is not culturally neutral, and being aware of cultural differences can enhance communication in international settings.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the implementation of choir extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 37 Pekanbaru in the 2025/2026 academic year, which was motivated by the importance of extracurricular activities as a means of developing students’ talents, interests, creativity, and abilities in non-academic fields, especially music arts. This research used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, and the research subjects consisted of the choir extracurricular instructor, choir students, and the school staff. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis techniques were conducted through data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the research showed that the implementation of choir extracurricular activities at SMP Negeri 37 Pekanbaru had been carried out quite well and conducted regularly according to the predetermined schedule. The training activities included vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, articulation, intonation, voice division, and harmony practice. This activity gave positive impacts on students such as improving singing ability, self-confidence, discipline, responsibility, and cooperation. In its implementation, there were still several obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure as well as inconsistent attendance of some students during practice sessions, however, the choir extracurricular activity was still able to run well because of support from the school, instructor, and students’ enthusiasm in participating in the training activities.

Abstract

The rapid dvelopment of artifical intelligence (AI) has significanly influenced academic writing, particularly in argument construction and paragraph coherence. This study aims to examine the contribution of AI to argumentative quality and paragraph coherence in academic writing throught a systematic literature review. Data he were collected from peeriviewed articles published whitin the last five years, primarily from scopus indexed journal accessed throught google scholar. The study employed the Prisma fromework to select relevant literature base on inclusion and exclusion criteria, followes by thematic synthesis analysis. The findings reveal that AI assisted writing tools improve argumentative clatrity, idea organization and paragraph coherence by supporting structured argument development and revision processes. However, excessive dependence on AI may weaken critical reasoning skills. This study concludes that responsible and pedagogically guide AI integration can enhance academic writing quality while maintaining students critical and analytical thinking.

Abstract

This research discusses the relationship between politics and educational ethics and its implications in the learning process in schools. The purpose of this research is to analyze the role of education policy and ethical values in creating effective and quality learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with a type of library research which is strengthened through observation and simple interviews with teachers in schools. Data were obtained from journals, books, scientific articles, and interview results regarding the application of school ethics and policies in learning. The results of the study show that education politics is related to the policies and rules that govern the educational process, while educational ethics are a moral guideline in shaping the attitudes and behaviors of students. Student ethics have been proven to affect the quality of learning in the classroom. Teachers and school policies have an important role in instilling discipline and positive behavior. In conclusion, the balanced application of politics and educational ethics is very important to create an effective, fair, and conducive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Social-emotional skills are a child's ability to recognize, understand, and manage their own emotions while interacting positively with others. At an early age, this skill is crucial. Some children experience issues such as shyness in speaking in front of their peers, a lack of confidence in speaking and answering questions, impolite behavior, and difficulty controlling their emotions, often harassing their peers, and damaging their belongings. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Jambi culture-based storytelling using wayang puppets on the social-emotional development of 5-6-year-old children at Al-Azka Kindergarten in Jambi City. This research was an experimental study using a one-group pre-test-posttest design. The population was 49 children. Purposive sampling was used, selecting 14 children from class B3. Data collection techniques included observation and documentation. The research instrument used was an observation sheet in accordance with the observation guide. Data analysis techniques included normality tests and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results of the study showed that Thitung > Ttabel, namely 21,649 > 1,770, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Jambi Culture-Based Storytelling Method Using Wayang on the Social Emotional Development of Children Aged 5-6 Years at TK IT Al-Azka, Jambi City.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of educational policies in the digital era to improve learning quality at MTs Integral Luqman Al-Hakim Bojonegoro. The research aims to determine the implementation of digital-based educational policies, the use of technology in learning, and their impact on learning quality. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and school representatives, especially Mr. Suryadi as the interview source. The results showed that the school had implemented digital learning policies through the use of LCD projectors, PowerPoint, learning videos, Google Classroom, and internet-based learning media. The implementation of digital learning policies improved students’ learning motivation, activeness, and understanding of learning materials. However, several obstacles were found, such as limited facilities, unstable internet networks, and differences in teachers’ digital competencies. Therefore, improving facilities and digital literacy is necessary to optimize learning quality in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of educational politics and ethics in fostering student discipline at SMP Negeri 1 Trucuk Bojonegoro. The study employed a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection included observation, interviews, and reference studies. The results indicate that the implementation of educational politics is implemented through school regulations, such as mandatory punctuality, uniform checks, restrictions on cell phone use, and providing guidance to students who violate the rules. Meanwhile, the implementation of educational ethics is evident through the culture of greetings, politeness, communal prayer, morning assembly, and congregational prayer activities, which aim to foster religious character and student discipline. The implementation of educational politics and ethics has a positive impact on student discipline, such as increased compliance with school rules and a sense of responsibility. However, obstacles remain, such as a lack of awareness among some students and inappropriate communication methods by some teachers when reprimanding students. Overall, the implementation of educational politics and ethics has created an orderly and conducive school environment and supports the development of disciplined and well-mannered students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of observational data analysis as the basis for reflection in classroom action research thourgh a systematic literature review (SLR). The study examines how observational data contribute to reflective practice, intructional improvement, and teacher professionalism. This research employed a qualitative approach using the SLR methos by analyzing national and international journal articles published within the last five years. The review process included literature identification, selection, evaluation, data extraction, and thematic synthesis. The findings indicate that observation serves as the primary empirical data source in classroom action research because it provides factual information about classroom activities, student participation, and intructional affectiveness. observational data analysis supports objective and evidence based reflection, enabling teachers to evaluate learning strategies and improve subsequent instructional actions. The novelty of this study lies in its integrative analysis of observation and reflection as a unified mechanisin that contributes to sustainable intructional improvement and teacher professional development.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the rapid development of information technology, which demands innovation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to make it more relevant, interactive, and aligned with learners’ characteristics in the digital era. Technology integration not only transfers materials into digital formats but also creates meaningful and contextual learning experiences. This study employs a qualitative approach with a library research design, collecting data from scientific journals, books, and relevant regulations, and analyzing them using content analysis techniques. The findings show that innovations in PAI learning include the use of interactive digital media, learning applications, and e-learning systems that enhance students’ understanding, motivation, and engagement. In addition, the protection of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) plays an important role in maintaining originality and value, while publication strategies through journals, seminars, and digital media expand product utilization. Thus, the synergy of innovation, IPR, and publication improves the quality of PAI learning and supports adaptive, sustainable, and competitive education.
