Indonesian Language Education and Literature
Indonesian Language Education and Literature also known ILEaL (2502-2261) is a journal of research publication. The scopes of this research are Indonesian language and literature teaching, either as the first, second, or foreign language. The research can be conducted in elementary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, and/or university. The journal is regularly published on July and December in collaboration with the cooperation Asosiasi Dosen Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (ADOBSI) Ikatan Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (IKAPROBSI) and Perkumpulan Pengelola Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia serta Pengajarannya (PPJB-SIP). ILEaL is registered in Science and Technology Index (SINTA 2), Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Garba Rujukan Digital (Garuda), Ministry of Religious Affairs Reference (MORAREF), Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia (PNRI) or National Library of The Republic of Indonesia, and several indexing services with e-ISSN: 2502-2261. We receive articles in Indonesian. All the requirements and guidelines are available at Author Guidelines or downloaded from the Template.

Connectionism theory view that learning occurs by experimenting and making mistakes, as well as language learning in early childhood. Each early childhood initially tries to speak and make mistakes before they become accustomed to the pronunciation and correct. Any child's vocabulary has increased and finally to convey the intent and purpose to his interlocutor well. The process can be seen from the process of learning a second language in early childhood. In second language learning is done by younger children show conformity of laws and principles of learning connectionism theory. Giving the prize being a stimulus of children to learn and motivated to recite the words proposed as a form of positive response. Reduced average number of repetitions of the first week as many as seventeen times to three times in the fourth week is a proof of principle trial and error learning proposed by Edward Thorndike. Factors second language learning is strongly influenced by age, first language, language development and motivation. Â

Use appropriate teaching methods teachers' creativity. Learning foreign languages, especially Arabic Arabic Intensification Program IAIN Sheikh Nurjati Cirebon using various methods. Inquiry method, question and answer, and the group is a method of teaching according to the constructivist approach. Constructivist theory of learning understood as the process of formation (construction) knowledge by the learners themselves. Interest in constructivist theory encourages authors to observe the application of constructivist theory in a group of 28 Intensification Program Arabic IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Results observation is that the Arabic language learning in a group of 28 Intensification Program Arabic IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon approach constructivism theory.

This study aimed to determine whether there is (a) the relationship between the ability to develop paragraphs and report writing skills, (2) the relationship between achievement motivation and skills to write reports, and (3) the relationship between ability and achievement motivation arrange paragraphs together with the skills write reports. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo, January to June 2010. The research method used is survey method with correlation techniques. The population was eleventh grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Sukoharjo. The sample of 60 people taken by simple random sampling. Instruments to collect data is a test of skills to write reports, prepare ability test paragraph, and achievement motivation questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used are statistical techniques of regression and correlation (simple and double). The results showed that: (1) there is a positive correlation between the ability to develop paragraphs and report writing skills (r = 0.79 Y.1 the real level α = 0.05 with N = 60 where rt = 0.254), (2) there was a positive relationship between achievement motivation and report writing skills (r = 0.68 at Y.2 real level α = 0.05 with N = 60 where Avg. = 0.254), and (3) there was a positive correlation between the ability to develop paragraphs and achievement motivation, together with the skills to write reports (R y.12 = 0.87 at α = 0.05 significant level with N = 60 where rt = 0.254). From the above results can be stated that individually or jointly develop the ability and achievement motivation paragraphs made a significant contribution to the skills to write reports. This indicates that these two variables can be a good predictor for the skills to write reports.

Classroom action research was conducted with the aim of: 1. To enhance the learning process for students tell the class VII A junior Bhayangkari Karangpandan, 2. To improve the ability to tell the students of class VII A junior Bhayangkari Karangpandan. Execution carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four (4) steps of activities, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. Prior to the first cycle begins with the initial research activities to find out the condition of the subjects. Based on preliminary research results compiled in the form of research, planning learning implementation plan. First cycle of action as an effort to improve the conditions stated lack of or low on the initial research. Activity Cycle II, the efforts to repair/ improvement of a state which is still less in the first cycle. The result of study shows that low-ability students to tell based on initial research, one of which caused no/ not use the GCC appropriate learning media to achieve the expected competencies. In this study, the actions taken to improve the process and learning outcomes using instructional media telling picture. After doing the action over the past two cycles, the results showed that by using media images as well the ability to tell the students can be improved.Â

In the Indonesian language there is one type of sentence, that sentence inversion. Inversion sentence is sentence structure subject precedes predicate function (P-S). Based on the results of data analysis, there are several types of sequence patterns syntactic function contained in the phrase inversion Indonesian namely (1) PS, (2) POS, (3) P-Pel-S, (4) PO-Pel-S, (5) PS with Specification, (6) POS with Description, (7) P-Pel-S with the description, and (8) PO-Pel-S with a description. Also there are different types of sentences in the sentences Indonesian inversion which consists of: (1) sentence declarative inversion which is divided into two types of patterns that can be converted into the S-P and type that can not be converted into P-S; (2) The inversion of interrogative sentences are divided into two inversions interrogative sentences that require yes or no answers and inversion interrogative sentences that require answers explanatory; (3) sentence inversion imperative which is divided into two inversions imperative sentences with active diathesis and passive sentences with inversion imperative diathesis; and (4) the sentence exlasamative.Â

The aims of the research are to describe and explain the characters love expressions in her novel “Bidadari Bidadari Surgaâ€. The characters love expressions in the novel as an intense modal to develop the potencial in theirs family, the characters love expressions are as follows (a) giving love and secure feelings, (b) giving attentions to the family members, (c) building the nature behavior of the family members, and (d) giving the family identities.Â

This study aims to improve students' skills in writing short stories. Discovery learning can improve students' ability to generate stories. This study uses a Class Action Research (PTK). The results are as follows. In prasiklus use the lecture method with media Charta with KKM 75. In the aspect of knowledge is only 55% of students who completed and only 66% skill aspect. The results of the first cycle of learning by using discovery learning strategies in preparing the text of the short story nilail obtain an overall average of 76. In the knowledge that acquired skill aspect nilail overall average of 77. Although it has exceeded KKM, but have not reached the targets set in the classical style, ie 80. The observation of posture is 2.88. Activities teachers earned an average of 3.11. Weakness in the first cycle is fixed in the second cycle, both related to the design of learning, learning, and assessment. In the second cycle, student achievement related knowledge reached an average of 79.16. Students who have completed a total of 36 people (100%). Aspects acquire skills nilail overall average, that student attitudes 81. Observations 3.21. Results of teacher activity observation was 3.47 including both categories.

“Mataraisaâ€, a novel written by Abidah El Khalieqy is interesting to be analyzed. This novel gives strong image of an intellectual woman who are dare to ekspress their idea about women’s right. The research focuses on discussing the feminist idea and action in “Mataraisa†novel by Abidah El Khalieqy.The purpose of this research is to describe the feminist ideaand action of the female characters in “Mataraisa†novel by Abidah El Khalieqy.This research used descriptive method and feminism analysis. The technique of collecting data is library research through studying the literatures discussing feminism. The research conclusion isthe feminist idea and action of female characters are purposed to get gender equality in their society. Concretely, it is shown in the field of freedom of speech, education, workload, and social life.

This research aims to know the application of traditional games based on local culture to develop honesty character and its supporting and obstructing factors at TK Pancasila. The researcher used qualitative descriptive research. The research analysis used was qualitative analysis using the following steps: (1) Collecting the data through observation, interview, and attitude scale test, (2) Reducing the data, (3) Presenting the data, and (4) Concluding and verifying. The research result at TK Pancasila showed that the stages of traditional games application included: (1) Planning stage, (2) Applying traditional games stage in three activities (opening, main activity and closing), and (3) Evaluating stage. The result from pretest and posttest can be concluded that the result of traditional games in developing honesty character for young learners at TK Pancasila was the changing of individual character shown from the increase of honesty character quality as the effect of learning process from experience in playing traditional games. The supporting factors of applying traditional games at TK Pancasila included: (1) Structured curriculum, (2) Fairly high playing motivation from young learners, (3) Conducive facilities and environment to support the process of applying traditional games. The obstructing factors included: (1) The unstable young learners concentration, (2) The minimum time used for traditional games activity, (3) Limited knowledge from teachers about kinds of traditional games used in teaching especially to improve honesty character development from young learners.
