Jurnal ini menerima naskah dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, kualitatif, maupun metode campuran (mixed methods), termasuk penelitian eksperimen, penelitian tindakan kelas, studi kasus, kajian literatur sistematis, serta penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) model atau perangkat pembelajaran berbasis STEM. Fokus kajian mencakup integrasi sains, teknologi, rekayasa, dan matematika dalam pembelajaran; pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21 (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, dan communication); inovasi media dan teknologi pembelajaran; evaluasi dan asesmen pembelajaran STEM; pengembangan kurikulum STEM; serta implementasi pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning), Problem-Based Learning, dan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pendidikan STEM. Jurnal Edukasi dan Pembelajaran STEM diterbitkan secara berkala dua kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu pada bulan Juni dan Desember, dan berkomitmen untuk menyebarluaskan hasil penelitian pendidikan STEM berkualitas tinggi kepada akademisi, peneliti, guru, dan pemangku kepentingan pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by Canva on physics recognizing consequences in the situation of momentum and impulse material for the sophistication of X MIPA SMA Mulia Pratama Medan Academic Year 2022/2023. The type of research is a quasi-experimental study. The population is Class X MIPA semester 1 SMA Mulia Pratama Medan Academic Year 2022/2023. The research pattern was taken from general sampling, which consists of training, namely the experimental class of 30 students carrying out the STAD version of learning assisted by Canva, and the control class of 30 students carrying out the Direct education (DI) model. Research notes were obtained using a tool in the form of an essay test which includes 10 questions that have been tested beforehand to see the validity of the questions, reliability, stages of the questions and discriminating power. Based on the results of the study for the experimental class, received an average pretest of 50.50 with a trendy deviation of 9.45 and an average post-test rating of 85.07 with a desired deviation of 6.06. For the splendor of manipulation, the average pretest value became 49.57 with a standard deviation of 9.18 and the average posttest value became 79.89 with a popular deviation of 5.48. both trainings have been declared generally disbursed (obtained L0 Fcount statistical test (two-tailed t test) for α = 0.05 and dk 58 obtained tcount < ttable, especially 0.418 < 2.002, this shows that the initial abilities in both classes are the same. Then the two classes were given different treatments and at the end of the learning a post-test was given. From the results of the statistical test of the data (one-tailed t test) obtained tcount> ttable, especially 6.143> 1.671, this final result shows that there is a broad influence of the STAD type cooperative learning model assisted by Canva on physics learning in gaining knowledge about the effects in the problem of calculating the amount of momentum and impulse of class X MIPA students semester I SMA Mulia Pratama Medan 2022/2023 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Canva Assisted Mission Based Learning Version on students' Physics learning outcomes on the Measurement material of class X Semester I of SMA Parulian 2 Medan in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study. The population of this study was all students of class X MIA semester I of SMA Parulian 2 Medan which includes 2 subjects with a total of 30 students. Sampling was carried out by General Sampling where the number of samples was equal to the number of populations, so that the sample in this test changed to 15 students of class X MIA 1 as an experimental model, who were taught to use Canva. Assisted efforts based on the purchase of model information and 15 students of sophistication X MIA 2. as beauty manipulation were taught with a direct introduction model assisted with Canva. The research device used a multiple-desire view at along with 14 items with five choices (a, b, c, d, and e) which had been tested beforehand to determine the validity, reliability, level of difficulty, and item differentiation. Before examining the hypothesis, the normality and homogeneity of the records were checked first. The results show that the general pretest score for the test is 43.20 with a complete deviation of 8.23 and for the ordinary one is forty-two.75 with a standard deviation of seven, sixty-four. For preliminary competency tcount = 0.329 and ttable = 2.05. shows that tcount < ttable, then the initial talent of both classes is identical. After getting knowledge about ending, the post-test changed to finished for both lessons and the average trial cost changed to 80.79 with an average difference of 8.68 while for the elegance of manipulation the publication test cost became 72.67 with a current deviation of 8.15. Based on the pre-test homogeneity test, it was obtained Fcount = 1.162 along with Ftable = 2.48. because Fcount (1.162) < Ftable (2.48), then the pretest research fact turned out to be homogeneous, then the publish-check homogeneity test obtained Fcount = 1.213 along with Ftable = 2.48. because Fcount (1.213) < Ftable (2.48) then the post-test research data is homogeneous, then the statistical test (one-tailed t-test) obtained tcount = 2.67 and ttable = 1.70 at a significance level of α = 0.05, with dk as much as 28. Because tcount > ttable, being unique (2.67 > 1.70), this indicates that there may be a very large effect of the Canva Assisted learning-based task version on Physics students gaining knowledge about the results in the problem of interweaving of sophistication X Semester I personal strengths of the Parulian 2 Medan faculty in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the broad impact of the use of the Jigsaw cooperative mastery model assisted by PheT on the results of students' attention recognition on the greatness of XI SMA Gajah Mada Medan Academic Year 2022/2023. The form of this research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study was all students of class XI MIPA at SMA Swasta Gajah Mada Medan Academic Year 2022/2023. The sample in this study was taken using cluster random sampling, namely the experimental class of 30 students implemented to the Jigsaw cooperative mastery model assisted by PhET and the control class of 28 students implemented to the DI version. This observation tool uses an essay test with ten proven questions used in this study. The average pre-test score of the experimental class is 32.89 with a normal deviation of 2.99 and the average post-test score is 84.33 with a normal deviation of 2.72. These figures are based entirely on research findings. The suggested pretest ratings and desired deviations for the manipulation style were 35.44 and 3.82, respectively , and the intended posttest ratings were 71.33 and 5.93. Lcount Ltable was accepted for each instruction with a daily distribution, even as Fcount obtained Ftable for homogeneous elegance. The results of the statistical test (t-party test ) and dk 56 found that the initial abilities of the 2 lessons were the same because tcount < ttable, or -0.84 1.94, is true. Furthermore, exclusive treatment has been applied to 2 lessons and towards the end of the lesson a publication test was given. From the results of the statistical test of the fact (one-celebration t check) it was obtained tcount > ttable, namely 2.41 > 1.94, this indicates that there is a possibility of a Jigsaw type cooperative learning model that has a large influence with the help of PhET on student learning outcomes. resulting in excessive magnificence of Gajah Mada's personal XI questions, faculty of 2022/2023 academic year .

Abstract

This study aims to determine the significant effect of the use of the inshot-assisted inquiry learning model using the main material of work and energy in class X MIPA, even semester, Gajah Mada Mandiri Private High School, Medan, Academic Year 2022/2023. This kind of research is basically experimental. All students of class X MIPA, even semester, Gajah Mada Mandiri Private High School, Medan from both classes constitute the majority of the population in the essay. Cluster random sampling was used to collect samples, with X MIPA1 and X MIPA2 acting as the experimental and control groups, respectively, with a total of 32 participants each and a teaching model that emphasizes in-depth learning with short lessons. The instrument used in this study was an essay test with approximately 10 validated topics. Data analysis of Lhitung-Ltabel and Fhitung-Ftabel showed that both data sets had a normal and homogeneous distribution. Analysis of two similar government agencies will be carried out next. The results of both classes were normally and uniformly distributed. Because tcount > ttable, the results of the one-tailed t-test for alpha = 0.05 and dk 62 produced tcount = 21.27 and ttable 1.99. This shows that there are significant benefits from using interdisciplinary learning with an inquiry model to support the student process in semester X of Mathematics and Natural Sciences in the academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the improvement in performance and learning outcomes of Physics with the Google Form Assisted Inquiry Learning Model for Class X SMA Asuhan Daya Medan. The type of research used is classroom action research which aims to determine whether there is an increase in performance and learning outcomes of the subjects, namely students. The population of this research is all students of Class X SMA Asuhan Daya Medan. The sample is class X-IPA, totaling 25 students, who are taught using the inquiry learning model based on the concept of freedom of learning. This type of research is carried out using two cycles to achieve good learning outcomes. The instrument in this question consists of 14 multiple-choice questions with options (a, b, c, d and e) which are tested for validity, reliability and level of test difficulty. Learning outcomes are obtained using the Gain value according to the results of the hypothesis test, learning outcomes increase from ???? ̅ pre-cycle = 36.36 to ???? ̅ cycle I = 68.91 N-Gain = 0.44 and is classified as neutral. learning improvement from ???? ̅ diaphragm = 36.36 ???? ̅ cycle II = 85.09 with N-Gain = 0.74 is classified as high. The increase in learning activity ???? ̅ cycle I meeting 1 = 40.94 to ???? ̅ cycle and I fulfill the first N-Gain = 0.19 less classified as meeting 2 = 52.00, then the learning activity increases ???? ̅ cycle I 1 = 40.94 to meeting II = 66.06 seconds N With - Gain = 0.42 is classified as moderate, and the increase in active learning ???? ̅ cycle I meeting 1 = 40.91 to ???? ̅ cycle II meeting 2 = 85.09 with the third N-Gain = 0.85 is classified as high. The results of this research show an increase in performance and higher learning outcomes in the learning process using the Google Form Assisted Inquiry Learning Model for Class X of SMA Asuhan Daya Medan in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Pembelajaran geometri bangun datar pada jenjang sekolah dasar berperan penting dalam membentuk kemampuan berpikir spasial, visualisasi, dan pemahaman struktur matematis siswa. Dalam praktiknya, penyampaian materi masih sering berfokus pada penerapan rumus dan prosedur perhitungan sehingga siswa kurang memperoleh pemahaman terhadap makna konseptual dari setiap bentuk geometri. Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah etnomatematika, yaitu pendekatan yang memanfaatkan unsur budaya sebagai konteks dalam menjelaskan konsep matematika formal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis konseptual terhadap pembelajaran geometri bangun datar melalui pendekatan etnomatematika di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan berupa studi literatur dengan menelaah berbagai artikel ilmiah nasional yang relevan dengan tema kajian. Analisis difokuskan pada landasan teoretis, bentuk implementasi pembelajaran berbasis budaya, serta tantangan yang muncul dalam penerapannya. Hasil sintesis menunjukkan bahwa berbagai artefak budaya, seperti struktur bangunan tradisional, kerajinan anyaman, motif tekstil daerah, dan permainan tradisional, memiliki keterkaitan dengan konsep bangun datar dan dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana untuk memperdalam pemahaman konseptual siswa. Meskipun demikian, keberhasilan penerapan pendekatan ini bergantung pada kemampuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang sistematis dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pemahaman konsep bangun ruang melalui pembuatan jaring-jaring kubus dan balok dalam proses pembelajaran. Pembelajaran bangun ruang pada mahasiswa PGSD membutuhkan cara yang dapat membantu mereka memahami bentuk secara lebih nyata dan mudah dibayangkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif yang bersumber dari kajian literatur serta pengalaman pembelajaran di kelas. Pembuatan jaring-jaring kubus dan balok digunakan sebagai kegiatan belajar yang membantu mahasiswa memahami hubungan antara sisi, rusuk, dan titik sudut dengan lebih runtut. Melalui aktivitas ini, mahasiswa tidak hanya mempelajari konsep bangun ruang secara teori, tetapi juga melihat secara langsung bagaimana bentuk tiga dimensi dapat dibentangkan menjadi dua dimensi. Pembahasan dalam artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan jaring-jaring sebagai media pembelajaran dapat membantu memperkuat pemahaman konsep, membuat mahasiswa lebih aktif saat belajar, serta menjadikan proses pembelajaran geometri terasa lebih bermakna. Dengan demikian, pembuatan jaring-jaring kubus dan balok dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif cara mengajar yang efektif untuk memperdalam penguasaan materi bangun ruang pada mahasiswa PGSD.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media Busy Book pada pembelajaran IPS materi kegiatan ekonomi untuk peserta didik kelas IV MI Al Hidayah dan menguji kelayakan, kepraktisan, serta efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Subjek penelitian adalah 26 peserta didik kelas IV MI Al Hidayah Banjarsari. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar validasi ahli media dan materi, angket respon peserta didik, dan tes pemahaman konsep. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) media Busy Book yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria sangat valid berdasarkan validasi ahli media (97,2% dan 91,6%) dan ahli materi (94,4%); (2) media sangat praktis berdasarkan respon peserta didik sebesar 95,8%; dan (3) media efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran dengan rata-rata pemahaman konsep peserta didik 96,79% dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 80%. Media Busy Book layak digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran IPS materi kegiatan ekonomi di sekolah dasar karena mampu menjembatani konsep abstrak menjadi konkret melalui aktivitas manipulatif, meningkatkan motivasi belajar, dan mendukung pembelajaran tematik yang berpusat pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang memiliki tujuan untuk mengatahui adanya pengaruh kecemasan matematika terhadap koneksi matematika, pemahaman konsep matematika, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika peserta didik SMP kelas VII pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII SMP se- Kecamatan Kebomas tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 yang berjumlah 816 peserta didik dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus slovin yang dilakukan secara proportionate claster random sampling dengan taraf kesalahan sebesar 5% sehingga jumlah sampel penelitian yang dipilih sebanyak 268 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner kecemasan matematika dan tes koneksi matematika, pemahaman konsep matematika, dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh negatif yang siginifikan antara kecemasan matematika terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika. (2) Terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara kecemasan matematika terhadap koneksi matematika. (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara pemahaman konsep matematika terhadap koneksi matematika. (4) Terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan antara kecemasan matematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. (5) Terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara koneksi matematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. (6) Terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara pemahaman konsep matematika terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika.

Abstract

Praktik penilaian pembelajaran saat ini masih didominasi tes tertulis dan cenderung mengukur hafalan serta pemahaman konsep, sehingga belum mampu merepresentasikan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan proses sains siswa secara utuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas asesmen autentik dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses pembelajaran biologi siswa SMA. Penelitian  ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode meta-analisis. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menganalisis 20 artikel penelitian eksperimen yang dipublikasikan dalam rentang tahun 2020–2026. Data dianalisis menggunakan perhitungan effect size untuk mengetahui kekuatan pengaruh asesmen autentik terhadap keterampilan proses sains siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar asesmen autentik penelitian memiliki nilai effect size pada kategori besar dengan nilai rata-rata di atas 1,78, yang mengindikasikan asesmen autentik memberikan pengaruh yang kuat terhadap peningkatan keterampilan proses pembelajaran biologi siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan penerapan asesmen autentik efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA dan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif penilaian yang lebih komprehensif dalam pembelajaran biologi.
