Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has at least had a positive impact on the development of the Indonesian language. Many new words are used to convey information related to the Covid-19 pandemic. The vocabulary and terms used to inform about Covid-19 were originally in English. This is very reasonable because the covid-19 pandemic has not only attacked the country of Indonesia, but there are several countries that were first affected by the Covid-19 virus and have become cases of a global pandemic. The vocabulary and terms that were originally in English now have equivalent words in Indonesian, as an effort to avoid misunderstandings in receiving information related to the Covid-19 pandemic. At present, the use of foreign terms has begun to be reduced and replaced with new terms in Indonesian, although most of the Indonesian vocabulary is not yet in the KBBI. The use of the Indonesian language plays an important role in delivering information related to the spread of the Covid-19 virus among the Indonesian people. This shows that language is dynamic, that is, it can adapt to the current developments that are now very much changing in the global era by applying new Indonesian vocabulary during the Covid-19 pandemic as communicative information delivery among the Indonesian people

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui “Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Web terhadap Kemampuan Mengidentifikasi Teks Iklan, Slogan dan Poster Pada siswa SMP Swasta Harum Sentosa Perbaungan Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022.Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Swasta Harum Sentosa Jalan Laksana No 23 kecamatan perbaungan. Populasi Penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas VIII SMP Swasta Harum Sentosa. Berdasarkan pengambilan sampel maka ditentukan Kelas VIII yang berjumlah 25 siswa sebagai kelas yang digunakan. Metode yang yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode eksperimen One Group. Dalam Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes pilihan ganda soal Pretest dan Postest yaitu mengidentifikasi teks iklan, Slogan dan Poster. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji “Thitung.Pengolahan data dan analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus Analisis Ttes yaitu untuk mengetahui berapa besar pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Web terhadap Kemampuan Mengidentifikasi Teks Iklan, Slogan dan poster pada siswa Kelas VIII SMP Swasta Harum Sentosa Perbaungan. Setelah menghitung dan mengolah data dari penelitian yang dilakukan maka dioeroleh nilai rata-rata dari kelas eksperimen menggunakan Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Web adalah 90,28,51. Sedangkan Sebelum menggunakan Metode Belajar Berbasis Web nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh adalah 62,04.Dengan Demikian, dapat diketahui bahwa Thitung > Ttabel yaitu 2,075>1,668. Maka Maka ha diterima dengan hipotesis “adanya Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Berbasis Web Terhadap Kemampuan Mengidentifikasi Teks Iklan, Slogan dan Poster oleh siswa SMP Muhammadiyah 03 Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2021/2022.

Abstract

Indonesia mempunyai banyak perbendaharaan kata atau yang kerap disebut dengan kosakata. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman, kosakata pun kian bertambah dan mengalami perubahan, sesuai dengan sifat bahasanya yaitu dinamis. Hal ini pula yang melatarbelakangi penulis untuk dapat mengetahui dan memaparkan tentang suatu fenomena berupa penggunaan kosakata bahasa indonesia khususnya di kalangan Generasi Alpha. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Adapun partisipan dalam penelitian ini ialah 30 orang warga, di antaranya, 20 orang anak-anak dengan rentang usai 7 hingga 11 tahun, dan 10 orang dewasa dengan rentang usia 20 hingga 45 tahun yang berada di dusun IV Desa Cempedak Lobang, Kecamatan Sei Rampah, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar wawancara ataupun catatan yang berisi poin-poin yang ditanyakan, lembar angket, buku maupun jurnal, serta Handphone (HP) untuk mengambil gambar dan merekam data yang ditemukan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ada 120 kosakata bahasa baru yang digunakan di antara generasi alpha. Kosakata tersebut berupa bahasa gaul dan bahasa asing (Bahasa Inggris) yang terdiri dari akronim, singkatan, dan istilah. Peneliti mengelompokkan data berdasarkan jenis kata, padanannya, dan artinya. Perolehan kosakata bahasa gaul dan bahasa asing diperoleh melalui media sosial yang saat ini viral dan kemudian digunakan oleh anak-anak ketika berkomunikasi dengan teman sebayanya. Selain itu, peneliti juga menjelaskan terkait bahasa yang muncul selama pandemi COVID-19 yang saat ini sedang digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the mind mapping method on the conceptual understanding of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 064987 Medan. This type of research is a quasi experiment using a nonequivalent control group design. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 064987 Medan with the research subjects being students of class IVA and IVB, totaling 54 students. This study consists of the dependent variable, namely conceptual understanding and the independent variable, namely the mind mapping method. Data collection techniques and instruments used in research are tests. The data analysis technique used was a hypothesis test with a t-test to see differences in understanding the concept of the experimental group and the control group with a significant level of 5%. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of the mind mapping method on the understanding of the concepts of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 064987 Medan. This influence is proven by the results of the t-test in the posttest of the experimental group and the control group, namely sig 0.014 <0.05 and tcount 2.548 > ttable 2.006. So, it can be concluded that there are differences in conceptual understanding between students who are taught by the mind mapping method and students who are taught by conventional methods

Abstract

This development research project aims to (1) Develop animated video media using Animaker application on Weather theme learning, (2) Know the feasibility of animated video media using Animaker application on Weather theme learning. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) development research using the 4D model developed by Thiagarajan. In this study, researchers carried out the 4D development procedure only up to stage 3, namely Development, because the focus of this study was only to develop and determine the feasibility of animated video media using the Animaker application on weather theme learning. The subjects in this study were media expert validators, material experts and teacher responses. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis technique. Based on the results of validation from media experts, a percentage of 85.3% was obtained with the criteria "very feasible". from the results of the validation of material experts, a percentage of 81.3% was obtained with the criteria "very feasible" and from the results of teacher response validation obtained at 90.6% with the criteria "very feasible". From the assessment obtained, it can be said that the animated video media using the weather theme Animaker application developed is "very feasible" to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Makanan jajanan yang sehat dan baik dikonsumsi terutama bagi anak sekolah dasar adalah makanan jajanan yang tidak hanya memenuhi standard gizi, tetapi juga memenuhi standard kesehatan. Dari hasil penelitian tim PKM yang dilaksanakan terhadap 25 responden pada tanggal 29 November 2024 di SD Nurul Hasaniah Percut Sei Tuan, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara, maka dapat diambil kesimpulan yaitu: Pengetahuan siswa tentang Pengetahuan siswa tentang jajanan sehat yang layak konsumsi sesudah diberikan edukasi sebagian besar berubah menjadi kategori baik. Ada pengaruh yang bermakna positif dari edukasi tentang jajanan sehat terhadap tingkat pengetahuan anak dalam memilih jajanan yang sehat dan tidak sehat.

Abstract

The use of Indonesian in teaching and learning interactions is a form of communication. Interactions carried out by students to lecturers can be in the form of conversations, dialogues, or questions about everything related to what students are feeling or complaining about. The speech acts used in discussions vary widely because they generally come from different regions. It is this impression that makes researchers interested in studying illocutionary speech acts in the lecture process. This study specifically aims to describe the use of illocutionary speech acts between students and lecturers of the Indonesian language and literature education study program at UMN Al Washliyah. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were students and lecturers in learning interactions in Indonesian language and literature education study program classes. The object of research is speech acts, especially illocutionary speech acts which are forms of student speech to lecturers. In this study, data collection was carried out using two methods, namely (1) the listening method and (2) the speaking method. The results of the study show that illocutionary speech acts between lecturers and students during the teaching and learning process take place in the form of declaration, representative, expressive, directive and commissive speech acts.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to develop a suitable Interactive Whiteboard for teaching mathematics on the topics of time and duration for second-grade students, to assess students' responses to the developed media, and to evaluate the improvement in students' learning outcomes using this media. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The results of material validation in the first phase yielded an 89% rating, indicating it was suitable. In the second phase, it received a 95% rating, indicating it was very suitable. The media content validation results in the first phase yielded a 55% rating, indicating it was fairly suitable, and in the second phase, it received a 93% rating, indicating it was very suitable. Teacher response to the developed media was 83%, and student response, based on questionnaires distributed to 24 students, was 77%. There was an increase in student learning outcomes using the Interactive Whiteboard for the mathematics subject on time and duration.

Abstract

This research aims to document and analyze semiotic studies in Serdang Malay Ethnomedicine mantra texts, especially regarding signs and markers which are believed to have spiritual power in Kuala Lama Village, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra. This research uses a qualitative approach with field data obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that in the old Malay Serdang mantra, there are two main signs, namely the sound or phrase "Bismillahirrohmanirrohim" which always appears at the beginning or above the mantra sentence. The two words "Hu" have a social meaning as a place to express requests for desires, recognition of human helplessness, and special sentences in begging. The research conclusion shows that the semiotic social meaning of the old Malay Serdang mantra lies in the sound "Bismillahirrohmanirrohim," which is an expression of a request for healing to God. In the context of ethnomedicine treatment, the use of this mantra also reflects cooperation and mutual assistance between the Serdang Malay community.
