Abstract

Pencak Silat subject that was taught by coach at SMP Negeri I Susut wasn’t effective. Bbecause the coach had a lessattention to the ability of the students. This research aimed to compare between two learning styles of Pencak Silatsubject through the test results of jurus tunggal. This research used 2 x 2 factorial. Two way anova used to analyzethe data. The results showed that the normality test and homogenity was normal and homogenous distribution. Thetwo way anova showed a significant differences between four groups then followed by LSD test. LSD test showedthat: (1) learning outcomes of the students that used mastery learning styles have the best result between others(2) learning outcomes of the students who was taught by mastery learning style was similar to the students that wastaught by inclusion style with low cardiovascular endurance, (3) learning outcomes of the students who had highcardiovascular endurance, was higher than students who had low cardiovascular endurance that was taught bymastery learning styles, (4) learning outcomes of the students who had a high cardiovascular endurance, similar tothe learning outcomes of students who had low cardiovascular endurance on inclusion style, and (5) there was aninteraction between learning styles and cardiovascular endurance on pencak silat learning outcomes.Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Jurus Tunggal Pencak Silat, Mastery Learning, Inclusion, Cardiovascular.

Abstract

AbstractEducation is a very important matter. In order to obtain good education required fit and healthy human resources.Student’s physical condition affects his physical fitness, and nutrition status along with motivation to learn areanother important factor can also affect the physical fitness. This research is aimed to observe the contributionof nutrition status and motivation to learn to the phisical fitness of Students of Sport and Health Education ofJambi University (Porkes Unja). Type of research used correlation, where nutrition status and motivation to learnas the independent variables, and physical fitness as a dependent variable. The population of this research is awhole of forth-semester male students of Porkes Unja as many as 122 students. The sampling technique isProportionate Random Sampling, where the number of samples is 50% of population that is 61 students. Theresearch data taken in two ways, nutrition status variable using IMT formula, while motivation to learn variableusing questionnaire method, and physical fitness variable using Cooper/Nuhasan physical fitness test. Then,the data was analyzed by simple and double correlation, using 16.00 version SPSS tools. Analysis resultshowed that first hypothesis accept means that there is a significant contribution between nutrition status tophysical fitness, and it contributes of 10.64 percent. Second hypothesis accept means that motivation to learnvariable 9.16 percent significantly influence the physical fitness. The third hipothesis accept means that variablesof nutrition status and motivation to learn simultaneously influence the physical fitness of the students significantly,and the contribution is 45.83 percent. From this research result, writer infered that nutrition status and motivationto learn are the important factors that contribute to the physical fitness of the students.Keywords: Nutrition, Motivation, Learning, Student of PE.AbstrakPendidikan adalah masalah yang sangat penting. Dalam rangka untuk memperoleh pendidikan yang baikdiperlukan sumber daya manusia bugar dan sehat. Kondisi fisik siswa mempengaruhi kesegaran jasmani, danstatus gizi bersama dengan motivasi untuk belajar adalah faktor penting lain juga yang dapat mempengaruhikebugaran fisik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati kontribusi status gizi dan motivasi belajar untukkesegaran jasmani Mahasiswa Pendidikan Olahraga dan Kesehatan Universitas Jambi (Porkes Unja). Jenispenelitian yang digunakan korelasi, di mana status gizi dan motivasi belajar sebagai variabel independen, dankesegaran jasmani sebagai variabel dependen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa laki-lakiPorkes Unja sebanyak 122 siswa. Teknik sampling adalah Proporsional Random Sampling, dimana jumlahsampel adalah 50% dari populasi yang 61 siswa. Data penelitian diambil dengan dua cara, variabel status gizimenggunakan rumus IMT, sedangkan variabel motivasi belajar menggunakan metode kuesioner, dan variabelkesegaran jasmani dengan menggunakan Cooper / Nurhasan tes kesegaran jasmani. Kemudian, data dianalisisdengan korelasi sederhana dan ganda, menggunakan alat SPSS versi 16.00. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwahipotesis pertama menerima berarti bahwa ada kontribusi yang signifikan antara status gizi dengan kesegaranjasmani, dan menyumbang 10,64 persen. Hipotesis kedua menerima berarti bahwa variabel motivasi belajar9,16 persen secara signifikan mempengaruhi kesegaran jasmani. Pada hipotesis ketiga menerima berarti bahwavariabel status gizi dan motivasi belajar secara simultan mempengaruhi kesegaran jasmani siswa secara signifikan,dan kontribusi adalah 45,83 persen. Dari hasil penelitian ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa status gizi dan motivasibelajar adalah faktor penting yang berkontribusi terhadap kesegaran jasmani para mahasiswa.Kata kunci: Nutrisi, Motivasi, Belajar, Mahasiswa.

Abstract

Gender equivalence gives opportunity to woman to compete in work withman. That is still conducted up to the grade of managing the family, so that they are asparents still having some times for much more different outdoors activities. As itsconsequences, they have a different style of nursing children. Based on the statementthat ideal education ought to be done by parents themselves in the family, whereas inthe family there are different patterns in taking care of children, thereby the writermeans to study the parents’ role as educators in family, which is focused in physicaleducation.The physical education in family represents the condition or situation that has to becreated or has to be done. To realize the activity, there are three elements required,that are: doer, time, and location or place. Parents’ role of creating the physical educationin the family’s environment present in their willing to provide times and to chooselocations for the continuity of forms of the physical education activity.Keyword: Physical education, children of early ages, family

Abstract

Play is an activity that is done with excitement, satisfaction without compulsion, by the perpetrators. Creativity is a result of human thinking to resolve pressure and problem. This paper wants to reveal the relationship between play, creativity, and teaching physical education. Playing rough to develop muscle and smooth muscle, improve reasoning, and understand the existence of their environment, shaping the imagination, the fantasy, and creativity. Playing any culprit will be able to make do creatively. Actually, everyone would love to play. Playing basically always use physical activity and psychological, so play can be made for learning, especially learning of physical education. Physical education learning enables submitted with the form of play. Physical education learning approach to play will be able to foster creativity for students through games that they do. Abstract

This research was grounded on the principle problems related to the low performance on the teaching physical education. Teachers performance itself is influenced by such factors as supervision service, principal leardership, and the availability of adequate learning facilities. With this support, teachers performance could be expected to gradually increase. In connection with this central issue, the authors try to identify specifically factors that contribute towards middle school PE teachers which will be the variable of the research. Theoritically, to improve PE teachers performance needs various efforts. The influential variables on the teachers performance are supervision service, principal leardership, and the availability of adequate learning facilities. This research was a descriptive research which means an inverstigation telling, analyzing, dan classifiying data collected using survey, interview, questionaire, or test. A number of 21 mixed sex PE teachers participarted in the research. They were choosen using a purposive sampling technique. It concludes that supervision service had 73,45% of the contribution, principal leadership had 31,36% of the contribution, and facilitities had 33,29% of contribution. This means that variables that have been the factors provide contribution to PE teachers performance. That is why, it needs institutional efforts from elementary schools in the Cimahi City by providing information to principals to work more optimally. Abstract

In the vast development of civilization there is a big space for technology totake part. In the process, not all of the development has come to a positive influence.One of the example is a children world, playing which pressured by the technology.Traditional games have been replaced by new games with technology that makechildren are less physically active. In the end, many physical problems for childrenoccurred. This problem has been an obstacle to have optimum growth for the childcause by minimum movement such as overweight and obesity.Physical education is an alternative solution to the problems occurred. Physicaleducation has become a compensation to stimulate, motivate and accommodatechildren motor needs.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Jasmani, Kompensasi, Gerak.

Abstract

Korfball are the only game that involved man and women on each team. Nowadays peopleleft Korfball games as a sport in the high school. Although it offers many advantages: it’scheap, easy to play, simple equipment, and entertaining. High school age is a puberty age,a period in search of identity include they start to falling in love. Therefore, this game isgiving an appropriate timing to teach it in the high school. As a sport, Korfball requireddiscipline, teamwork, manners, sportsmanship and physical fitness. Abstract

For the last two decades the teaching games for understanding (TGFU) approach has caused considerable debate in games teaching. The TGFU focuses upon teaching students tactical understanding before dealing with the performance of skills, as such the TGFU offers a tactical approach to games teaching emphasizing game performance before skill performance. The aim of a tactical approach is to improve students game performance, which involves combining tactical awareness and skill execution. Tactical awareness, critical to game performance, is the ability to identify tactical problems that arises during a game and to select the appropriate responses to solve them. In tactical approach, students are placed in a game situation that emphasizes maintaining possesion before identifying and practicing passing, ball control, or support as solution to the problem. Abstract

Physical education is an educational process through physical activities to achieve the goalof education, so that by means of teaching process it is hoped that the change of pupil’sbehavior will be occurred. In a framework of children education as a totality, it must cover upthe unity between physical and spiritual aspects. There are no subject of lesson with ascompound and complete goal as physical education. Unfortunately, this goal hasn’t entirelyachieved yet because its realization isn’t in accordance with it hopes. There are manyproblems occurred such as the limitedness of its means and infrastructure, the number andquality of teachers which is insufficient, etc. until now, such constraints are not overcome.Therefore, writer is attracted to examine the compurgation of physical education betweenIndonesia and Japan. Why Japan ? Abstract

The study is aimed to map the researches on Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU). The researches mappedare those conducted in 2000-2010. Design of the study is descriptive, with survey method and using quantitativeapproach. The subject is 25 researches on Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) in 2000-2010. Techniquefor collecting data is by using documentation technique. Instrument used is documentation guideline. Validation ofthe instrument is by using expert judgment. In documentation guideline, there is a coding in assisting the analyticalprocess. The coding is the title, researcher (name of researcher, institution, and country), year, purpose, approach,design, and sample/subject, method for collecting data, analytical data technique, and conclusion. Analytical datatechnique is a document analysis which is then quantitatively made it into percentage. Result of the mapping showsthat researches on TGfU has been conducted many times in many countries. 245 of the researchers come fromAustralia. 28% of the researches are conducted in 2003. 68% of the approaches used in the research are qualitativeapproach. Design of researches on TGfU is in variation. Survey and case study method is used in 28% of theresearches. 24% of the researches use experiment and 20% of researches use contain analysis. Researches usingstudents as sample/subject is 48%. 20% of collecting data methods uses test and observation. For analytical datatechnique, 72% uses qualitative descriptive.Keywords: Mapping, Research, Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU)
