Abstract

The aims of the research was to determine the improvement of the long-jump learning quality by using used-tireas the learning medium in Gedongkiwo primary school Yogyakarta. Classroom action research was used as themethod. The subjects were 31 students of the fifth grade. The research concluded that the long-jump learningusing used-tire gives good implication to the students learning. Proven with student motivation higher thanbefore and more active involve the learning.Keywords: long-jump, learning mediaAbstrakTulisan ini merupakan hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kualitas pembelajaranlompat jauh dengan menggunakan ban sebagai media pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar Gedong Kiwo KotaYogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitaspembelajaran pendidikan jasmani, olahraga dan kesehatan di SD Negeri Gedongkiwo Kota Yogyakarta. Subyekpenelitian adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Gedongkiwo Kota Yogyakarta berjumlah 31 siswa. Hasil penelitianmenyimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran lompat jauh dengan media ban memberi implikasi terhadap peningkatanproses pembelajaran lompat jauh siswa SD Negeri Gedongkiwo Kota Yogyakarta, dibuktikan dengan semakinmeningkatnya motivasi dan kemampuan siswa melakukan lompat jauh dan mendorong siswa lebih aktif danbersemangat untuk melakukan lompatan, dengan kalimat lain dapat dikatakan bahwa untuk meningkatkanproses pembelajaran lompat jauh siswa dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan media ban.Kata kunci: lompat jauh, media pembelajaran

Abstract

AbstractApplied Physical Education Curriculum called KTSP at school good should be understood not only merely adjustment of the substance of matter and format curriculum with the demands of developments, but the shift paradigm from approach physical education who oriented input into approach physical education who based on standards of competence. The implications of this curriculum are needed as a reference standard of competency graduation. This implies a need for an assessment reference criterion that is part and parcel of physical education learning. To carry out the assessment reference criteria using a performance-based assessment has the function to: (1) as a teacher feedback, (2) monitor the completeness study, (3) to monitor students’ progress, and (4) to motivate students. In the implementation of-based assessment of performance have to tread on on the principle-principles as follows: students demonstrate the knowledge, skills and strategy of with to create the answers, using a skill thinking high-level (such as solving problem and decision making skills),refers to situations or context of the world “real”, the assessment process must is an part that are not integral from the learning process, appraisal must is holistic that covers all the aspects the learning from the purpose of learning (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor).Keywords: Assesment, Performance, Physical EducationAbstrakDiterapkan Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan (KTSP) penjasorkes di sekolah hendaknya dipahami tidak hanya sekedar penyesuaian subtansi materi dan format kurikulum dengan tuntutan perkembangan, tetapi pergeseran paradigma dari pendekatan pendidikan jasmani yang berorientasi masukan ke pendekatan pendidikan jasmani yang beroriantasi standar kompetensi. Dalam implikasi kurikulum ini diperlukan standar kompetensi kelulusan sebagai acuan. Ini berimplikasi pada perlunya dilakukan penilaian acuan kriteria yang merupakan bagian yang tak terpisahkan dari pembelajaran penjasorkes. Untuk melaksanakan penilaian acuan kriteria menggunakan penilaian berbasis kinerja yang mempunyai fungsi untuk: (1) sebagai bahan umpan balik guru, (2) memantau ketuntasan belajar, (3) memantau kemajuan belajar siswa, dan (4) memberi motivasi siswa. Dalam pelaksanaan penilaian berbasis kinerja harus berpijak pada prinsip-prinsip sebagai berikut: siswa mendemonstrasikan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan strategi dengan mengkreasikan jawaban, menggunakan keterampilan berfikir tingkat tinggi (seperti pemecahan masalah dan pengambilan keputusan keterampilan), merujuk pada situasi atau konteks dunia “nyata”, proses penilaian harus merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari proses pembelajaran, penilaian harus bersifat holistik yang mencakup semua aspek pembelajaran dari tujuan pembelajaran (kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor).Kata Kunci : Penilaian, Kinerja, Penjasorkes

Abstract

This research was a clollaboration investigation among the Department of Physical Education-Yogyakarta State University, Learning Media Laboratory, and physical education teachers. The purpose of the research was to improve the use and the development of learning media in physical education teaching. This research was a partisipatory action research designed to solved problems about the use and the development of learning media in physical education class. Physical education teachers teaching in the neighborhood participated in this research. It employed three cycles which was decided by the paticipants themselves. In each cycle consists of such components as problem indentification, planning, acting, data collection, and reflection. Data were collected by observation and focus group discussion. Data analysis employed focused issues analysis. This result shows that teachers had a great appreciation on this research. Their understanding and ability in the development and the use of media have been improved. They also felt that the workshop really accomodated their needs on teaching as the research employed participatory approach. Kata kunci: media pembelajaran, guru pendidikan jasmani, penelitian tindakan partisipatori.

Abstract

Achieving a meaningful of life in broader terms can be defined as human efforts to actualize themselves, in order to gain confession in their environment freely without separated by social structures which is becoming human rights. Disability person caused by congenital factors or the effect from an incident which resulted disability is also a part of the society who have equal rights to improve the meaning of life in the social environment. Physical activity is one of the appropriate tool for disability people to actualize theirself. By doing physical activity, people with disablities are able to socialize, improve their self- confidence an also learn the value of tolerance, cooperation, sportsmanship as a moral attitude that is necessary to being a part of the social environment. The form of physical activity should be appropriate. The appropriate form of physical activity will allows disability people to perform unhampered, therapy and rehabilitation to generate a belief that they can raise the meaning of their life even having physical limitations. Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menstimulasi suatu diskusi tentang kolaborasi interprofesiuntuk pembinaan pemuda melalui program olahraga, latihan, dan pendidikan jasmanidalam konteks kemitraan sekolah-keluarga-komunitas. Sebagai pembuka, artikel inidimulai dengan paparan singkat asumsi kunci tentang kolaborasi. Kemudian, paparantersebut diikuti oleh bagaimana munghubungkan kemitraan antara sekolah-keluargakomunitasyang memampukan integrasi pelayanan. Artikel ini juga menekankan inovasiyang melibatkan pembahasan tentang hambatan dan fasilitator. Bagian akhir dari tulisanini mengidentifikasi implikasi kebijakan ataupun praktis.Kata Kunci: Interprofessional Collaboration, Youth Development, Sport, Exercise, andPhysical Education.Many efforts have been made by schools to encompass and facilitate youth to promotinghealthy adolescent development. This includes the integration of instilling students with asense of belonging and purpose in life, development a positive self-image and the ability tobecome productive citizens. As educational leaders, we look forward to building aneducational institution where we could have committed leaders and administrators, well -trained teachers, sophisticated curriculums, and adequate facilities and textbooks.Nevertheless, with all these facilitators, what can we expect from schools as a home foryouth development if those young people grow up in families and community characterizedby poverty, violence, lack of health care, high unemployment rates, low-wages, singleparentfamilies, and crime? Under these circumstances, any devotion to school’simprovement without involving simultaneous efforts to address the problems occurred inthe family and community will likely remain undesirable outcomes.

Abstract

The idea that physical education is to improve physical fitness is impossible because the limited time provided in secondary high school curriculum. Therefore, the policy to have sports as extracurricular is important which are driven to provide programs based on students interest, talents, situation, and needs. Basketball as an extracurricular contributes to improve students physical fitness and also talent scouting. Regular and systematic exercise will improve physical fitness components such as : (1) cardiorespiratory endurance, (2) muscle strength and endurance, (3) flexibility, (4) body composition. Basketball as an extra curricular program functions as development of basketball elite athletes. Kata kunci : ekstrakurikuler bolabasket, pembibitan, kesegaran jasmani.

Abstract

Abstract: The structure of S-1 PJKR programme study curriculum in 2002 FIK curriculumshows that it doesn’t reflect the importance of physical education teacher’s competence andit has not been facilitate society need (stakeholders). The existance of several law tools andbasic reference in formulating LPTK curriculum shows that there is need to form a curriculumbased on the competence and society need. Establishment of teacher and lecture law (UUGuru dan Dosen) has given significant meaning of competence and society need in theprocess of creating a curriculum for future teachers. Therefore, there is a concern to restructurethe S-1 PJKR programme study curriculum to contextualize with competence and societyneed. It can start with changing the name of the programme study into S-1 physical educationprogramme study. In afterwards the process of programme study has to be contextualizingwith the education degree (elementary, middle, etc). Vision, mission and goals of eachprogramme still need to be reviewed. Abstract

Abstract Among the spreading of shopping centers bring amenity for amount of people; not aside from Physical Education teacher who interested for a business. Someones shopping activity in fulfilling daily need, reading news, listening radio, television, transport service and also private vehicle for transportation fluency; all those represent activity of business for the existence of service provider and consumer side. Some needs of that human being represented business field to others so that the interaction of various needs will create business fields, not aside from sport business, for example founding sport shop, training, organizing a game, or sport activities and also serve the needs of athletes such as clothes, food and also calorie-contained beverage. Sport businesses in Indonesia are in partial existed, but such condition still needs the stakeholder touch in order to obtain more maximal result. In National Seminar of Sportsmanship Industry, it have been told some business chances to public that sport-related company, included home industry (e.g. shuttlecock, sport t-shirt, medal graver, self-defense uniform, glove softball, event organizer, etc.) which have expanded themselves so that necessary to snuggle up to be Sport Industry. The Law of National Sportsmanship System has given chances for every citizen to plunge in sport business world, not aside from Physical Education teacher. Consider their involvements, Physical Education teacher with their activity quite a lot related to sport; of course they understand so much the needs of sport perpetrators which represent potential business field for. In starting or developing sport business, Physical Education teacher needs certain tricks, such as: (1) have strong willingness to try by stocked of never give up spirit as well as learning desire, (2) the run-business is easy reached in ability, management, and monetary source, and also that activity have to pleasant, (3) seeing market potency and society needs and also majoring customer satisfaction, (4) in attracting the customer purchasing ability, its necessary using cost leadership strategy, and (5) for managed-company survival, its using forwards, rear, and horizontal integration strategies. Abstract

Small-sided soccer games are a form of exercise or activity by using football game field size smaller than the actualsize of a football field. With the hope of playing football hone skills both individually and team. In small-sided gamescan be inserted to the students in the form of the values of cooperation, problem-solving skills in the face of pressure,and the ability to make decisions quickly and appropriate so that team goals or groups can be achieved accordingto expectations this together. This writing tries to explain how noble values in the sport of soccer to teach childrenat an early age through the method of small-sided games. Abstract

AbstractThis study has the objective to find a map of the participation of high school physical education teacher of the sport of softball in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. This study is a descriptive type of research with survey methods. Respondents were high school physical education teacher and equal in Yogyakarta as many as 98 people, which is obtained through purposive cluster sampling. The research instrument used was questionnaire made by the participation of researchers, consisting of 13 structured items and unstructured questions. Data collection techniques by approaching each respondent and take it back. Analysis of the data that is used is to use percentages or called percentage correction. The results showed that the physical education teacher is a human resources that could be involved in sports coaching softball, and yet their knowledge and understanding only in part to the involvement of small use, so it already has the capital to participation but have not been able to be maximized becomes an active participation in coaching softball at DIY. Physical education teacher is only a small part that gives information about the sport of softball to the students, so the possibility that students can be involved in the sport of softball. They do not understand the softball games or learning, that learning the game not have to play softball softball itself. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survey. Responden adalah guru pendidikan jasmani SMA dan sederajat di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta sebanyak 98 orang, yang diperoleh melalui purposive cluster sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket partisipasi yang dibuat sendiri oleh peneliti, yang terdiri dari 13 butir pertanyaan tersetruktur dan tidak terstruktur. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara mendatangi setiap responden dan mengambilnya kembali. Analisis data menggunakan. Analisis data yang dipergunakan adalah dengan penggunaan persentase atau disebut procentage correction. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa guru pendidikan jasmani merupakan sumber daya manusia yang dapat dilibatkan dalam pembinaan olahraga softball, namun demikian pengetahuan dan pemahaman mereka hanya sebagaian kecil digunakan pada keterlibatan, sehingga modal untuk partisipasi sudah dimiliki tetapi belum mampu dimaksimalkan menjadi partisipasi yang aktif dalam pembinaan softball di DIY. Guru pendidikan jasmani tersebut hanya sebagian kecil yang memberikan informasi tentang olahraga softball kepada para siswa, sehingga menutup kemungkinan siswa dapat terlibat dalam olahraga softball. Mereka belum memahami pembelajaran permaianan softball, bahwa pembelajaran permainan softball tidak harus bermain softball itu sendiri. Program Studi PJKR Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta sebagai muara dari partisipasi guru pendidikan jasmani di DIY dalam partisipasi pembinaan olahraga softball di DIYKata kunci : Partisipasi, Pembinaan Softball, Guru Pendidikan Jasmani SMA
