Abstract

Evaluation is one of the important components in every education implementation. Someefforts to improve educaton quality, including physical education, are the improvement oflearning quality and the improvement of its evaluation system. Learning quality has aninterconnected relation with the quality of evaluation system. Good learning system willproduce a good learning quality. This learning quality could be observed from its evaluationresults. Furthermore, good evaluation system will urge teacher to construct a better teachingstrategy and to motivate participants to learn better. Therefore, in an improvement of educationquality, it is needed an upgrading in evaluation system it applied. According to test planningand interpertation of its results, references of evaluation in physical education may be differedinto two, those are : Norm Referred Evaluation (NRE/Penilaian Acuan Norma-PAN) andStandard Referred Evaluation (SRE/Penilaian Acuan Patokan-PAP). Evaluation by usingNRE assumes that the capability and ability of every student is different and could be drawnaccording to normal distribution. Every student’s test results are compared with his/her groupscores so that their each position could be observed. Whereas evaluation by using SREassumes that almost every student can learn anything but in a different time/period. Theconsequence of this later evaluation is the presence of remedy program. Interpretation of testresults is always compared with a particular pre-determined criteria. In a further development,evaluation in physical education in order to find out the extent of learning activity resultsuccess of the students can be taken on using evaluation system that uses letter (for tertiaryeducational institution) or using scale between 1 to 10 (for basic education grade up tointermediary education grade—Base School up to Senior High School). Evaluation by usingscale and letter could be aplied through some ways as follows : (1) distribution gap methods,(2) percentage methods, (3) grade or value compilation methods, (4) normal curve methods,(5) contract-based scoring, and (6) portofolio approach.Keywords : Evaluation Reference Approach, Evaluation System, Physical Education.

Abstract

Pendidikan dan pengembangan olahraga merupakan bagian dan upayapeningkatan kualitas manusia Indonesia yang ditujukan pada peningkatankesehatan jasmani dan rohani seluruh masyarakat, pemupukan watak, disiplindan sportivitas serta pengembangan prestasi olahraga yang dapatmembangkitkan rasa kebanggaan nasional.Kualitas dari pendidikan jasmani sebenarnya terletak pada totalitas kurikulumuntuk dapat mencakup tujuan umum dari pendidikan jasmani di sekolah. Tujuanumum pendidikan jasmani ada pada wilayah (1) perkembangan keterampilan Gerak,(2) perkembangan kebugaran jasmani, (3) perkembangan perceptual motorik,(4) perkembangan sosial emosional, (5) perkembangan penalaran, dan (6)perkembangan penggunaan waktu luang.pendidikan jasmani akan selalu melekat pada pendidikan secara keseluruhan,dan tidak ada pendidikan yang lengkap tanpa adanya pendidikan jasmani.Keberadannya akan bermanfaat secara optimal manakala kurikulum yangmenaunginya dapat secara total dirancang, dan dilaksanakan dengan benar.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Jasmani, Conditio Sine Qua Non

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai seberapa baik kualitas butir soal Ulangan Akhir Semester Genap Mata Pelajaran PJOK Kelas VIII SMP N 1 Ngemplak Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan data berupa soal ujian, kunci jawaban, dan lembar jawab peserta didik. Selanjutnya data tersebut diinput dan diolah menggunakan program Anates versi 4.09.Subjek penelitian adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIII berjumlah 187 peserta didik. Hasil analisis kualitas butir soal menunjukkan bahwa soal Ulangan Akhir Semester Genap Mata Pelajaran PJOK Kelas VIII SMP N 1 Ngemplak Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018 dari total 40 butir soal pilihan ganda, ditinjau dari segi tingkat kesukaran menunjukkan 5 butir soal (12,5%) berkategori sukar, 15 butir soal (37,5%) berkategori sedang, dan 20 butir soal (50%) berkategori mudah. Ditinjau dari daya pembeda, didapatkan 19 butir soal (47,5%) berkategori jelek, 13 butir soal (32,5%) berkategori sedang, dan 8 butir soal (20%) berkategori baik. Ditinjau dari efektivitas pengecoh, didapat sebanyak 5 butir soal (12,5%) berkategori sangat baik, 11 butir soal (27,5%) berkategori baik, 15 butir soal (37,5%) berkategori kurang baik, dan 9 butir soal (22,5%) berkategori tidak baik. The evaluation of learning outcome examination of ulangan akhir semester genap of PJOK subject of class VIII SMP N 1 Ngemplak in the academic year 2017/2018 using item questions analysis AbstractThis research was aimed to give information about how well the quality of questions in Ulangan Akhir Semester Genap of PJOK subject of Class VIII SMP N 1 Ngemplak in the academic year 2017/2018. This research was a descriptive quantitative research using documentation as data collection techniques. This research was conducted by collecting data in the form of exam questions, key answers, and the students’ answer sheets. Next, the data were inputted and processed using the Anates program version 4.09. The research subjects were all students of class VIII totaling 187 students. The results of the quality analysis of the questions showed that the questions in Ulangan Akhir Semester Genap of PJOK subject of Class VIII SMP N 1 Ngemplak in the academic year 2017/2018 out of 40 multiple choice questions, viewed from the level of difficulty, 5 items (12.5%) were in difficult category, 15 items (37.5%) were in average category, and 20 items (50%) were in easy category. Viewed from the distinguishing strength, 19 items (47.5%) were categorized as bad, 13 items (32.5%) were categorized average, and 8 items (20%) were categorized good. Viewed from the effectiveness of the deception, it was obtained 5 items (12.5%) were in very good category, 11 items (27.5%) were in good category, 15 items (37.5%) were in poor categories, and 9 items ( 22.5%) were in not good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 siklus, dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri atas: 1) perencanaan; 2) pelaksanaan tindakan; 3) pengamatan; 4) refleksi. Penelitian yang dilakukan mencakup 3 ranah yaitu ranah psikomotorik, ranah afektif dan ranah kognitif. Selain itu dilakukan pengamatan terhadap pengelolaan pembelajaran, aktifitas guru dan siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran gerak dasar atletik kelas V melalui metode sirkuit di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Tanjung Raja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hasil pembelajaran gerak dasar atletik dengan menggunakan metode sirkuit di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Tanjung Raja Kecamatan Tanjung Raja Kabupaten Ogan Ilir berdampak positif, hal ini terlihat pada hasil ketuntasan belajar yang mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada kegiatan pembelajaran pra siklus sebesar 28% yang kemudian meningkat pada kegiatan siklus 1 sebesar 68% dan meningkat lagi pada kegiatan siklus 2 sebesar 84%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan metode sirkuit dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran gerak dasar atletik kelas V di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 07 Tanjung Raja Kecamatan Tanjung Raja Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Increased basic motion capability of athletics using circuit method of elementary school students  AbstractThis research is a classroom action research. This study uses two cycles, wherein each cycle consists of: 1) planning; 2) implementation of the action; 3) observation; 4) reflection. Research carried out includes three domains, namely domains psychomotor, affective and cognitive. Moreover carried out observations of managing learning, the activities of teachers and students in participating in learning basic movements V class athletics through methods circuit at State Elementary School 07 Tanjung Raja. The results showed that the learning outcomes of basic motion athletic using the circuit in a class V State Elementary School 07 Tanjung Raja Village, Tanjung Raja Ogan Ilir positive impact, as seen in the results of mastery learning which has risen on learning activities pre-cycle by 28% which then increases in cycle 1 activity by 68% and increased again in the second cycle of activities by 84%. It can be concluded that the circuit method can improve learning outcomes basic motion athletic class V in the State Elementary School 07 Tanjung Raja Village, Tanjung Raja Ogan Ilir.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much interest of students of Senior HighSchool to sport extracurricular activity in state schools at Kulonprogo regency.Population of this research are students of State Senior High School at Kulonprogoregency. Sampling population is 320 students obtained by random complete sequence.Method used in this research is by survey and data collecting technique using questionnaire.Result of this research shows that interest to sport extracurricular activity is 74% (quiteinterested). Factors in interest show percentage rate: contentment of 77% and obstruction of 69%. The most interested sport extracurricular is volley ball and then followedby other sports like basket ball, badminton, and soccer.Keywords: Interest, Extracurricular

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research was to know the layer of physical education tools and fields needed in SMK around Gunungkidul district with The Regulation of Indonesia National Education Department no. 24 th 2007 as the parameter. This research was a survey research in vocational schools in Gunungkidul with questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The populations are 38 vocational schools in Gunungkidul district, and 13 schools were chosen randomly as the sample. The data were analyzed through descriptive qualitative method. The result of the research shows that the layer of physical education tools needed by the vocational schools in Gunungkidul was high. On the other hand, the layer of physical education fields needed was at the average level. The detailed result of research could be mentioned as follows: the percentage of physical educations tools reached by the vocational schools in Gunungkidul district based on The Regulation of Indonesia National Education Department was 21.5%. The percentage of physical education fields reached was 39.7%. The low percentage of physical education tools reached shows how the high needs of physical education tools. Congruently, the average layer of physical education fields reached shows the average needs of physical education fields too. It influences the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, so that an effort on fulfilling the ideal standard determined by our government was highly recommended. Abstract

This action research was aimed to improve the learning quality of the physical education by using the audiovisual media in SMPN 1 Kalasan, Sleman in the academic year of 2005-2006. The subject of the research was the students of grade VII D SMPN 1 Kalasan. The number of the students was 38 students, consisted of 17 male and 21 female in the academic year of 2005-2006. The subject matter of learning is shooting in basket ball. The techniques of the data collection of the research were questionnaire, interview, and observation, while the technique of the data analysis of the research was descriptive. The result of research showed that implementation of audiovisual media by DVD can improve the students appreciation in learning as well as enhance the students learning performance. The suggestions to be considered are the need of implementing the audiovisual as media learning in large scope and different subject matter. The school needs special class for audiovisual media. Abstract

Curriculum is one of the importance components other then human resources andinfrastructure in the effort on providing high quality graduate. Update on the curriculumcontinuously is necessary to follow the demand of market and stakeholders which changeaccording to the current situation of society and global development. Learning tools forPJKR FIK UNY students use the PJKR 2002 curriculum need to be evaluated and updatedwith the society demand and development of education vision to implement competencebased curriculum. Several aspects to be brought in attention among others is adaptationwith overall juridical based: UU no.20, 2003 on national education system, SK MendiknasNo. 232/U/2000 on curriculum development and learning measurement, SK Mendiknas no045/U/2002 on core curriculum of high education, and PP No.19 2005 on national educationstandard. Strategic actions to be brought is: (a) reconstruction of vision, mission and goalsof physical education programme study, (b) re-formulate pure science subject to relevantrelated subject with competence demand, (c) explore relevance competence with societyand stakeholders need, (d) adapt common ground curriculum pattern with actual competencedemand, (e) to reduce and if necessary erase uniformity of curriculum.Keywords: competence based curriculum, PJKR, re-formulate, uniformity.

Teaching Games for Understanding (TGfU) as a taching model now is getting well-known internationally. As a new emerging idea, TGfU evolves in agreement and disagreement. An inovation needs supporters and inovation agents. In specific purpose to introduce TGfU for teachers and prospectus PE teachers, the efforts need to be done in step by step on the agencies such as teachers, principals, students teachers, researchers, experts, and programs at teacher education institutions. Abstract

Classroom action research is one of the efforts in solving problems faced by teachers duringtheir learning process. The learning process covers physical education learning in classesas well as practices in laboratory and field. Teachers hold an important role in implementingclassroom action research. Teachers are aware of the issues faced by students in class. Inphysical education, the motoric ability of students varies. Teachers are responsible in planning,acting, doing, observing and reflecting. Teachers can also be assisted by a partner or anexpert.
