Ideally, early business education should shape a generation with strong economic understanding, financial independence, and business ethics aligned with Islamic values. However, in reality, formal education still places greater emphasis on cognitive aspects and technical skills, while sharia-based business education has not been systematically integrated from an early age. This condition results in low levels of sharia business literacy and weak internalization of moral values in the economic practices of young generations. This study aims to analyze the urgency of early business education from the perspective of Islamic economics and to examine its role in shaping character and economic independence. The methodology employed is library research using a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical analysis of relevant academic literature. The findings indicate that sharia-based early business education plays a strategic role in instilling values of honesty, justice, responsibility, and balance in economic activities. Such education not only enhances business literacy but also shapes an Islamic economic mindset and ethical behavior in a sustainable manner. Therefore, the integration of sharia-based business education from an early age is an urgent necessity for developing ethical and competitive human resources

This study is motivated by the rapid growth of coffee shop businesses in Langsa City, which has led to increasingly intense business competition, prompting business owners to implement various marketing strategies to attract customers. However, in practice, there are still marketing strategies that potentially create unfair business competition, such as setting prices below market value and promotional concepts that are not fully aligned with the principles of fiqh muamalah. This study aims to analyze coffee shop marketing strategies in increasing customer interest and to examine their conformity with the perspective of fiqh muamalah. This research employed a field research method using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving coffee shop owners and customers in Langsa City. The results show that the marketing strategies implemented include friendly service, supporting facilities, menu variations, strategic locations, and promotions in the form of bonuses and free drinks. From the perspective of fiqh muamalah, marketing strategies are permissible as long as they do not harm others, uphold honesty, and do not create unfair business competition.

The development of digital technology has transformed the way da'wah communication is conducted; however, interpersonal approaches continue to play a crucial role in shaping moderate religious understanding. Islam Wasathiyah, as a representation of balanced, tolerant, and inclusive Islam, requires communication strategies that are not only informative but also capable of addressing emotional and relational dimensions. This study aims to examine how interpersonal communication is utilized in da'wah activities to construct the narrative of Islam Wasathiyah amid the digital era, which is characterized by polarization and the widespread dissemination of extreme religious information. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews with Islamic preachers (da'i), observers of da'wah media, and analyses of digital-based da'wah content. The findings reveal that interpersonal communication, whether conducted face-to-face or through digital platforms that facilitate two-way interaction, such as social media and discussion forums, possesses significant potential to foster emotional closeness, trust, and a deeper understanding of moderate Islamic values. This approach has proven more effective in countering rigid and intolerant religious narratives while simultaneously strengthening collective awareness of the importance of religious moderation. These findings highlight the necessity of enhancing interpersonal communication capacities within digital da'wah strategies to preserve social harmony and promote the universal Islamic values of rahmatan lil ‘alamin (mercy to all creation).

This article aims to describe how the conceptual view of Islamic thought is in reading Islamic texts, especially reading the Qur'an. This is because there are various terms that are introduced but basically it boils down to two approaches in reading Islamic texts. This article was written using a qualitative descriptive approach using the literature study method. From the results of the discussion it is known that various terms of approach in reading Islamic texts actually lead to textual-normative and contextual-historical approaches. The textual-normative approach necessitates a literal reading of the text. This textual-normative approach is then considered unable to answer some human problems in accordance with the times so that the contextual-historical approach appears as an answer to this inability.

The purpose of this research was to reveal the view of Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas about the Islamization in Malay Archipelago. In this research, Al-Attas, as one of the world intellectuals of Malay Archipelago, tried to reconstruct the ideas of western scholars who tended to restrict the role of Islam and accentuate the significance of Hinduism and Buddhism in the Islamic history and culture in Malay Archipelago. The western scholars supported Hinduism and Buddhism as the most influential religions in Malay Archipelago instead of the influence of Islam. The argument was proved by the various relics of stone carvings, statues, and temples. The argument of the western scholars seemed to reduce the role of Islam as the largest religion embraced by people of Archipelago for centuries. Some of western scholars whose views would be clarified by Al-Attas were Van Leur, Schrike, Snouck Hurgronje, and Winstedt. Al-Attas provided an argument with facts and data that it was the role of Islam through Sufism metaphysics and Arabic language of Malay Archipelago that shaped, changed, and became the view of people’s life in Malay Archipelago. It should be emphasized here that Islamization was a theory initiated by Al-Attas to confirm the influence of Islam in Malay Archipelago through the concept of Sufism metaphysics.

Ideally, Islamic law and Islamic economics are expected to synergize in shaping a just social and economic order based on sharia principles. However, in contemporary reality, the two are often positioned separately, resulting in a gap between normative values and modern economic practices. This study aims to analyze the space for dialogue between Islamic law and Islamic economics in a contemporary context by examining the dynamics of the development of Islamic law, the transformation of Islamic economic thought, and the integration of the two in responding to modern challenges. This research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach through a library research method. The findings indicate that the integration of Islamic law and Islamic economics is an essential prerequisite for normative legitimacy and the effectiveness of sharia-based economic practices. This study contributes to enriching scholarly discourse through an integrative perspective between sharia values and contemporary economic practices.

Ideally, digital technology enables equal access to quality education, flexible learning processes, and innovative teaching practices. In reality, educational systems still face significant challenges such as unequal technological infrastructure, limited digital competence among teachers, and negative impacts on students’ learning behavior and character. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities of education in the digital era, focusing on the role of teachers and adaptive strategies to improve learning quality. This research employs a qualitative library research approach by examining relevant academic journals, books, and policy documents related to digital education and instructional technology. The findings indicate that digital transformation enhances learning effectiveness and resource accessibility, yet it simultaneously creates a digital divide and increases teachers’ workload in mastering pedagogical and technological competencies. Teachers play a crucial role as facilitators, motivators, and guides in promoting responsible technology use and meaningful learning experiences. This study contributes to educational discourse by offering an integrated perspective on how adaptive teacher strategies, continuous professional development, and equitable technological support can optimize the benefits of digital education while minimizing its risks, thereby supporting sustainable and inclusive educational development.

Ideally, political education in Islam serves as a means to develop the political awareness of the Muslim community based on the values of justice, trustworthiness, and social responsibility, so that politics is understood as a form of service aimed at achieving public welfare. However, in reality, Islamic political education has not been implemented optimally, as indicated by the low level of political literacy, the prevalence of political pragmatism, and the tendency to separate Islamic values from political practices. This condition has resulted in a gap between the ideal teachings of Islam and the reality of contemporary political life. This study aims to examine the urgency of political education in Islam and its role in shaping political awareness and ethical political behavior among Muslims. The research employs a library-based study with a qualitative approach, using descriptive-analytical methods to examine primary sources such as the Qur’an and Hadith, as well as secondary sources including scholarly books and academic journal articles. The findings indicate that political education in Islam plays a strategic role in integrating moral and spiritual values into political life and offers a solution to the ethical crisis and low political awareness within the Muslim community.

This study aims to re-examine the alignment and potential discrepancies between the Aceh Jinayat legal provisions and international human rights instruments such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), and the Convention Against Torture (CAT). This research employs a library research method with a qualitative approach and a normative-comparative analysis. The primary data in this study consist of the Aceh Jinayat Qanun and international human rights instruments (UDHR, ICCPR, and CAT), while secondary data include academic literature, scholarly journals, and relevant reports from human rights institutions. The findings indicate that there is a degree of compatibility between the Aceh Jinayat law and international human rights standards in terms of moral protection, social order, and the enforcement of public ethics. However, several provisions require strengthening and reformulation based on the principles of substantive justice, proportionality, and human rights protection.
