Abstract

 The research was motivated by the complaints of the employees about job rotation in Manfaat Group Company Kabupaten Semarang. In addition, in the last one year, there was increasing of product reject quality control, another case about decreasing of company performance in last thee years. The aim of this research is conducted to determine the influence of job rotation, job supervision and compensation to company performance through motivation in Manfaat Group Company Kabupaten Semarang.The population is all of employees of flour production division with 102 samples. The analysis used in this research is the Partial Least Square (PLS) using software SmartPLS 2.0 M3 for Windows, which previously tested the validity and reliability first.Based on calculations show that variable job rotation have an influence to motivation, variable job supervision have an influence to motivation, variable compensation have an influence to motivation, variable motivation have an influence to job performance, variable job rotation have an influence to job performance and variable compensation have an influence to job performance.

Abstract

Modern era has induced people to dynamicly change their mindset. Change of mindset results in growth of a number of industries. One of which is Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) which gradually climb to a betterment. The growth points to the likelihood that FMCG has a relatively more competitive market, therefore every company is responsive to any changes. In order to enhance branding of company, promotion and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) could be one effective way.The aim of this research is to identify effect of CSR (implemented in building an eco-school of Tunas Mulia) and promotion by Wings Company towards students in Bantar Gebang as the beneficiaries. Purposive sampling method is employed to run an array of data consisting 97 respondents who are parents of Eco school of Tunas Mulia. Using quantitative data, this research was conducted with SPSS version 16. Anaysis method used were comprised of correlation test, determination, simple linier regression, multiple linier regression, T test, and F test.The result showed that there is a positive and significant correlation between CSR and promotion towards company branding of Wing Company—partially and simultaneously. Promotion variable has greater effect on branding than CSR. Corporate Social Responsibility positive and significant impact on the image of the company with the strength of the relationship is strong enough or being. However there are still some things that need to be improved include road facilities, ability to raise the spirit of learning and student achievement, awareness of personal and environmental hygiene, communication between the company and the community. Promotion of positive and significant impact on the image of the company with the strength of the relationship is strong enough or being. But there are some things that need to fix that as well as the company's public relations and public understanding of the product. The results of responden assessment of the variables corporate image is good. But there are some things that must be considered is knowledge of the company logo. Simultaneously there is a positive influence between Corporate Social Responsibility and the promotion of the image of the company in PT.Wings the strength of the relationship between all the variables are moderate.

Abstract

Rogo-Rege MSME is a handicraft industry in Semarang Regency with the largest number of craftsmen compared to other handicrafts. Rogo-rege has the potential to develop, but sales of logo-rege have fluctuated in the last 5 years. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of market orientation and entrepreneurial orientation on marketing performance through product innovation in the Rogo-Rege MSME Semarang Regency. This type of research is explanatory research with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. The sample of this study was 45 Rogo-Rege craftsmen in Semarang Regency with the criteria of having carried out business activities for at least 3 years. The analysis technique that was used is quantitative analysis with the help of PLS (Part Least Square). The results showed that there was a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial orientation towards product innovation, market orientation towards marketing performance, and product innovation on marketing performance. The results of the study also showed a positive yet not significant effect on market orientation towards product innovation and entrepreneurial orientation towards marketing performance. The results of the indirect influence test indicate a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurial orientation on marketing performance through product innovation and the existence of a positive but insignificant influence of market orientation on marketing performance through product innovation.

Abstract

A fantastic development of the human need for clothing and current fashion era demands the modern retail to seek strategies to meet the needs of the consumer's desires. Recently, Robinson Department Store not stand as the only modern retail, especially in Semarang. The presence and development of other modern retails are supposed to make Robinson Department Store swiftly and began designing appropriate strategies and innovative products that can endure and must remain attractive to customers, so the company’s purpose which is increasing products sales can be achieved. But in 2014, Robinson Department Store Mal Ciputra Semarang’s sales profit has been decreased. Based on preliminary studies, poor quality products, less diverse products, unattractive store decoration, and unattractive arrangement of products display are found to be reasons that do not support consumers to impulse buying at Robinson Department Store Mal Ciputra Semarang.This study aims to determine the effect of Store Image and Store Atmosphere towards Impulse Buying of The Costumer of­ Robinson Department Store Mal Ciputra Semarang.Data collection techniques using purposive sampling with a sample of 100 consumers.Quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS version 15. Data were analyzed through the validity, reliability, crosstab, product moment correlation, coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test and F test. The results showed that, Store Image has a significant effect on the Impulse Buying. Store Atmosphere has a significant effect on Impulse Buying. Then simultaneously, Store Image and Store Atmosphere have significant effect on Impulse Buying. Based on the multiple regression test, the result of the beta coefficient of Store Image shows the number 0.301, while the Store Atmosphere indicates the number 0.489. Store Atmosphere provides the most effect on Impulse Buying at Robinson Department Store Mal Ciputra Semarang.Enhancements of Store Image can be done by improving the quality and diversity of products, services of the employee (salesman), and decorations.Besides the enhancements of Store Atmosphere can be done through scent, cleanliness, colors and lighting of the room, and music. Through those things, the intention of impulse buying by consumers is expected to be increased in Robinson Department Store Mal Ciputra Semarang.

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is the level of feeling in which a person declares the comparative results of the service performance received and expected. The convenience and service provided are different depending on the room class used, because of the difference of room class one with other rooms, this is what influences the customer's perception (value expected) with brand image of Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel. All of that, will affect the level of satisfaction of each consumer. The purpose of the study to determine the effect of brand image and service quality to customer satisfaction hotel. This type of research is explanatory research, with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. The population in this study is the customer Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel, by using the theory of Cooper and Emory then taken 100 respondents to be sampled and the sampling technique used a combination of incidental sampling and purposive sampling. This research uses quantitative analysis technique Analytical methods used validity test, reliability test, simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, significance test (t test) and (f test), with SPSS tool version 16.0. The results of this study indicate that the variable brand image, service quality and customer satisfaction included in the category good, but there are still items of questions that have scores below the average. Variable brand image (X1) has an effect on consumer satisfaction (Y) equal to 37%. Service quality variable (X2) has an effect on consumer satisfaction (Y) equal to 46,9%. The conclusion of this research indicate that variable of brand image (X1) and service quality (X2) have positive effect to customer satisfaction of hotel (Y). Suggestions that can be given to Patra Jasa Semarang Convention Hotel must improve and improve service to the consumer either from improvement of hotel physical facility and also service from employee. So that consumers will feel the deeper influence of the brand image and quality of hotel services in measuring customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Human resources is one of factors has an important role in improving employee performance. The population of this study were 114 employees as respondent.  From the results of data analysis conclude that Leadership Trasnformasional has significant effect on Job Satisfaction of 19.9 percent. Compensation affect Job Satisfaction by 58.8 percent. Leadership Transformasional variables affect the performance of employees by 14.8 percent. Compensation variables affect the performance of Employee by 23.7 percent. Job Satisfaction affect the employee performance by 19.3 percent.  Transformational Leadership  and Job Satisfaction simultaneously affecting Compensation by 60.3 percent.  Transformational Leadership  and Job Satisfaction simultaneously affecting Employee Performance by 27.1 percent. Transformational Leadership, and Job Satisfaction simultaneously affecting  Employee Performance by 26.9 percent.  Based on these results,  the management of PT. Pelindo needs to consider the application of Transformational Leadership Style by division supervisor. Continuous guidance and supervision needs to be done so that employees work better. e needs of employees and the opportunity to move forward should be supported and facilitated.

Abstract

In the globalization era, smartphones industries are the most developed industry in Indonesia. This situation create business competition are increasingly competitive. One of the signs of market competitiveness can be seen in the last few years on how there’s declining on market share and selling volume of Samsung Smartphone products in Indonesia. While the purpose of this research is to explain and elaborate the power of brand awareness, brand association and advertising effectiveness in influencing University of Diponegoro students decision to buy Samsung Smartphone products.The result of this research demonstrates that the variable of brand awareness have significant and positive impact toward purchasing decisions; the variable of brand association have significant and positive impact toward purchasing decisions and the variable of advertising effectiveness have significant and positive impact toward purchasing decisions.The conclusion from this research is that samsung’s smartphone products are perceived well in all the three variables (brand awareness, brand association and advertising effectiveness). While suggestion that can be presented from this research is it’s necessary for Samsung to build brand awareness and a better brand association if they want to mantain and gain their product sale in order to improve the company's image, thus making it easier for consumers in making purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Current business competition has driven the business manager for fast-moving, creative and anticipatory. This is caused by a change in the system of business competition which make use of technology in the operation of his business. This study discusses the use of the site and the online trading application Lazada.co.id. The purpose of this research is to know the influence between the ease of transactions, shopping convenience, and purchasing decisions towards customer satisfaction. The direct influence of the test results in this research is the ease of transactions, shopping convenience, and purchasing decision proved to be a significant and positive effect toward customer satisfaction. Test results of the other direct influence between the ease of transaction and shopping convenience of purchase also proved to be a positive and significant effect. Indirect influence test results between the ease of transaction against a customer satisfaction through influential buying decision is positive and significant. Whereas indirect influence test results between the shopping convenience towards customer satisfaction through purchasing decisions is also positive and significant effect. Advice to PT. Lazada Indonesia, is expected to respond to complaints from consumers, so that customer satisfaction can be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is influence between the characteristics of entrepreneurship, venture capital and the role of Business Development Services to business development. Type of study is Exploratif Research. Data collection methods used are literature studies, questionnaires, interviews and observations. Of the 33 total of study population, retrieved a sample of 33 respondents to the census method. Analysis of data using the correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, regression analysis, and t test and f test to prove the hypothesis by using SPSS 16.0.The results of the study through the analysis of the coefficient of determination shows that the characteristics of entrepreneurship, business capital, and the role of Business Development Service has a positive and significant impact on business development partially (with the results of respectively 29.5%, 45.7%, and 38.7 %) and 48.7% simultans to the development effort.

Abstract

In the year 2011 through 2015, PT Cassanatama Naturindo have a disturbance of their business development, mainly on their sale per year and absence of their worker. According of the retreived data, there is effect between worker absence and their sales ups and down compared of their target that must accomplished. So, from that fact researcher can see that there is relation between work motivation, work satisfaction, and work discipline with worker performance.This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work satisfaction towards worker performance thru work discipline as intervening variable. Type of explanatory research, data collection techniques are interviews with the tool questionnaire, sampling technique purposive sampling with a sample size 95 of PT Cassanatama Naturindo Semarang Workers. The data were analyzed through software SPSS.The result showed work motivation towards work discipline have affect with t score > t table. The effect work satisfaction with work discpline have affection t score > t table. Effect of work motivation and work satisfaction towards work discipline with F score > F table, effect work motivation towards worker performance with t score > t table, effect of work satisfaction toward worker performance with t score > t table, effect of work discipline towards work performance with t score > t table, effect of work motivation, work satisfaction, and work discipline towards work performance with F score > F table. Fairly, based of sobel test, work motivation affecting worker performance thru work discipline, have t score > t table, and work satisfaction affecting worker performance thru work discipline have t score > t table.In Conclusion, all of independent variables of this study have affect towards dependent variables, either partially or simultan, thus work motivation which affecting worker performance thru work discipline occured partial mediation, and work satisfaction variable with worker performance thru work discipline occured partial mediation. Reseacher suggest, on increasing worker performance, company must expressly correcting accuracy of employee to producing consistent with company standard. Dividing job must consistently with employee skill so that they can work as maximize, and then company could afford training for their workers, increase salary, and concern of recruitment education.
