Abstract

The fairly tight business competition at the global level will lead to rapid environmental change, characterized by the advancement of information, the variety of high demand, the demographic changes and economic fluctuations. That tight business requires the personnel in the organization to have a better performance.In the relation of human resources, the changes organizational environment, both internal and external, directly or indirectly, might affect employees’ work motivation and organizational climate that can increasing or reducing the level of job satisfaction that evoke employees’ intention to move from their recent jobs (turnover inention) and it could evoke the actual turnover. In PT. Intinusa Selareksa,Tbk., there is an indication in decreasing of the level of job satisfaction, that can lead to employees’ turnover intention.The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of work motivation and organizational climate toward employees’ turnover intention through job satisfaction at PT. Intinusa Selareksa,Tbk. The type of this research is explanatory research, with interviews and questionnaires as data collection technique. The sampling method using proportionate random sampling with 105 employees of PT. Intinusa Selareksa,Tbk. as the participants. The data analysis conducted quantitatively with SPSS version 20.The result of the research indicates that work motivation and organizational climate have positive effect to job satisfaction, and the job satisfaction has negative effect to turnover intention. The organizational climate has the dominant influence, that indicated from primary data analysis using test validity, test reliability, coefficient of correlation, linear regression, coefficient of determination, t-test and two pass regression. The result of this study tells us that the company should improving and keeping good work environment in order to better employees’ performances, that will lead to the increase of job satisfaction, and reducing the turnover intention.

Abstract

The development of a dynamic business world and followed with the level of competition to encourage businesses to increase their productivity. To improve employee productivity, good work discipline required that supported also by maintaining awareness of safety and health at work. In addition, the ideal work environment needed to create the convenience of employees during work. All these aspects must be mutually supportive to achieve the objectives of the company. This research method is explanatory, with the technique of collecting data through interviews with questionnaires, observation, and study of literature. Proportionate random sampling technique is used with a sample of 64 people. The analysis technique used is qualitative and quantitative. Results and discussion showed higher labor discipline, the higher the productivity of employees, the better the health and safety of employees, the higher productivity, and better working conditions, the higher the productivity of employees. Categorization of work discipline is high, but quite a lot who are in the low category. Employee safety and health is good, but quite a lot of that is in the low category. Work environment the company is in excellent condition, although still quite a lot that assess the condition is not good. Good levels of employee productivity, but there are many employees who have low productivity.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the potential business sectors because the community's need to travel continues to increase. One of the natural attractions that are currently developing is Vanaprastha Gedong Songo Park which is a natural forest of pine belonging to the Perhutani Public Corporation and opened since 2010. The purpose of this research is to examined the effect of product quality and service quality on visitor satisfaction. The research used quantitative with explanatory research type and using a questionnaire as a data collection method. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling. The sample is 100 Vanaprastha tourists with certain predetermined criteria. Data analysis using Partial Least Square, with the SmartPLS 3.0 application.The results of the study are in line with the Theory of Consumer Behavior, especially in the scope of nature tourism. The analysis showed that product quality and service quality had a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction. The results showed that the quality of Vanaprastha tourism products is very attractive because it has beautiful natural scenery. As for service quality, the service of Vanaprastha tourism officers is considered to be very communicative and responsive. The limitation is the data collection is done when visitors are on tour so that the respondent might answer the question not seriously and carefully, and the respondent might not be familiar with the questions asked. The suggestion given to the manager is to pay more attention to the condition of the road to Vanaprastha, the availability of the number of gazebos, and the availability of a guide. For further research is to develop this research with different variables such as promotion, price, and destination image with a broader scope of research objects such as the entire Gedong Songo Temple tour.

Abstract

Work stress is a response from a person, both physically and mentally to a change in the environment that is felt disturbing and resulted in his being threatened. Every aspect at work can be a stressor. Stressful conditions can cause health problems or make existing problems become more severe. Stress is caused by a trigger or stimulus, called stressors, stressors can come from ourselves or from outside ourselvesThe sampling technique used is Probability Sampling and the sampling type used is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Sample in this research is 62 respondents consisting of employees of PT. Manunggal Daya Salatiga Weaving Department AJL II. Data analysis using analysis quantitative with validity and reliability , simple regression analysis, double regression analysis, t test and f test with program spss 18.0 for windows.The results of research shows that there is a positive effect and significant between the workload to work stress amount 79,5%, the work environtment have positive effect and significant to work stress amount 68,5% and the controlling have positive effect and significant to work stress amount 71%Advice can be given in this research are the company must keep existing stressor so that employees rarely or never experience stress. Companies can increase the quantity of the workload but must pay attention to whether it becomes overloaded workload for employees. Besides keeping the stress caused by the work environment and poor controlling.

Abstract

Every corporate needs resources that have an mportant influence to achieve corporate’s goal. Human resource management have a role in improving employee performance through the variables that affect itself, including leadership and OHS (Occupational Safety and Health). Based on the problem in this research, that is the decrease of employee performance of PT PLN (PERSERO) Technical Department of Kramat Jati Area in 2014 – 2016 in travo disturbance and electrical leakage that occurred. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of leadership and OHS (Occupational Safety and Health).  The type of this research is explanatory research with 44 respondents in PT PLN (PERSERO) Technical department of kramat jati area as the population. The technique of sampling using saturation sampling. Using questionnaires as data collecting technique. The data analysis conducted quantitatively with SPSS.  This research conclude that leadership and occupational safety and health have postive effect on employee performance. OHS (Occupational safety and health) variable has bigger effect than leadership variable. Based to the research result, the researcher suggest that the company to pay attention of work enviroment which the work enviroment in techincal department needs collaboration for the employee to finish their job.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekuitas merek dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Coca-Cola. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pelajar SMA N 5 Purwokerto yang terletak di Jl. Gereja No. 20, Purwokerto. Dengan menggunakan teori Donald R Cooper dan C. William Emory, diambil 100 responden untuk dijadikan sampel dan teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah dengan accidental sampling. Skala pengukurannya menggunakan skala Likert. Pada analisis data menggunakan ujji regresi linear sederhana dan uji regresi berganda dengan program aplikasi SPSS 16.0.Dari hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa kategori ekuitas merek sebesar 62 persen menyatakan cukup. Kategori promosi diketahui sebesar 53 persen menyatakan cukup menarik. Variabel ekuitas merek berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 46,6 persen. Variabel promosi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 44,6persen. Variabel ekuitas merek dan promosi berpengaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian sebesar 51,2 persen. Hal ini berarti semakin baik ekuitas merek dan promosi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keputusan pembelian konsumen.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, pihak Coca-Cola menambahkan frekuensi penayangan slogan Coca-Cola, memberikan edukasi pada konsumen tentang minuman bersoda, menambahkan frekuensi promosi, dan menetapkan harga yang lebih murah.

Abstract

PT. KAI (Persero) is a state that the obligation to conduct social responsibility (CSR) to the public one of which is to participate actively provide assistance to small businesses through the Partnership Program which provides additional capital loans. What is interesting is the implementation that is still less than the maximum management. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Partnership and determine the impact on the effectiveness of SME Patronage. Descriptive qualitative research with case studies. Methods of data collection that structured interviews, observation and documentation. Determination of informants using purposive sampling technique. Informants in this study amounted to 11 people, one person in charge of the Partnership and 10 SMEs consisting of industry, trade and services. Discussion of the results shows the implementation of the partnership program has not been effective, determination SME Patronage most families KAI employees, not their coaching and monitoring shows that the partnership program has not led to the development of business resulting in less impact signifikasn to increase the effectiveness of SME Patronage. Yet most get the loan amount in accordance with the proposed, did not take long to get the disbursement of funds as well as most small businesses pay the installments on time. The partnership program has an impact on increasing the quantity of goods and service quality, satisfaction and motivation, revenue and profit, although not significant, and the improvement of equipment, machinery and raw materials. Advice writer is the establishment of the CSR division so that there is coaching, training and monitoring to MSMEs.

Abstract

The service of transportation sector is the one of service sector which is needed among many people, the people’s needs of transportation service must be considered. As we know in Indonesia, there is an online transportation service which makes the passengers don’t need to go to the bus stop or the other stations to get the public transportation. Go-Jek is the one of online public transportation which is has the many customers, but there are still many problems in Go-Jek, causing customer to be hesistant to use, as evidenced by the lack of targets and the realization of Go-Jek’s transactions The objective of this research is to investigate the direct impact of Service Quality and Online Servicescape on Purchase Decision and the indirect effect of Service Quality and Online Servicescape on Purchase Decision through Brand image among Go-Jek users in Social and Political Science Faculty of Diponegoro University.  Non Probability sampling with Purposive Sampling and Accidental Sampling is used as methodology research for this research. Samples collected as many as 100 of respondents from S1 students on Social and Political Science Faculty of Diponegoro University who were selected based on consideration. This research uses the Partial Least Square analysis techniques, which are being estimated by the program Warp PLS 3.0. Based on the result of data analysis by using Warp PLS, it indicates that direct impact of the test result on the research modals find out the positive and significant results. Indirect impact of that test result on the research modals are also indicate the positive and significant results. The researcher delivers the suggestion for Go-Jek company to increase service quality by strengthen the Procedure Operational Standard, then make an improvement of the visual quality in Go-Jek application and its website, working with influencer partners that have strong network to be able to exchange customers, and do more promotion to media that it close to potential customers.

Abstract

 Price will be considered a person before buying anything. Especially in service’s field, quality of service will be an additional consideration for a person berfore determining a choice of services. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (persero) will certainly pay attention to these two aspects in order to be a leader of mass land transport and become people’s choice while many private vehicles increasingly then causing traffic jams on the road. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of price anda quality service to the usage-decision of Fajar Utama Semarang train. This research method is an Explanatory with data collection through interviews, questionnaires anda literature study. Accidental and purposive samplings technique is used with a sample of 100 people. Anlysis technique used was qualitative and quantitative using validity, reliability test, correlation coefficient, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient determination, cross-tab, and significance test (t test and F test).Conclusion the study shows the price and service quality simultaneously influence the usage-decision of the passenger. This proved by the corellation coefficient score at 55,7% which in the strong category. Even so the determination coefficient score only at 31%. A good idea to PT Kereta Api Indonesia (persero) should pay attention to the price comparison with competitors. If the quality are not spesifically different, it will greatly affect consumer purchasing decisions. The company also should improve the service quality in order to improve passenger comfort on the trip.

Abstract

Employee performance is influenced by many factors including leadership and interpersonal communication. PT. Cahaya Kharisma Plasindo Grogol Branch Office, Sukoharjo on its production activities have production targets so it requires capable production leaders and interpersonal communication that is well established to improve the performance of production employees. The problem in this research is the decrease of employee performance of production by an increase in the number of defective product during last 4 years.The study aims to determine the effect of leadership and interpersonal communication on employee performance an production sector PT. Cahaya Kharisma Plasindo Grogol Branch Office, Sukoharjo. This type of research is explanatory. Data collection through a questionnaire, interview and literature study. Sample of this research is all employees of production department PT. Cahaya Kharisma Plasindo Grogol Branch Office, Sukoharjo which amounts to 96 people. Measurement scale using Likert Scale. data analysis using validity and reability, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination and correlation, significance test (t test and F test) with the help of SPSS software version 16.0.The result from data analysis concluded that leadership has a significant influence on employee performance. interpersonal communication has a significant influence on employee performance. Leadership and interpersonal communication are equally has a significant influence on employee performance.Based on the results, suggested in a attempt to improve employee performance of part production, production manager should get attention to the practice of leadership by giving command clearly and slowly about what the employee must do and briefing how to use the machine correctly. Interpersonal communication production manager with his employees needs to be noticed by empathizing with his employees and be positive by paying attention to what the employees say.
