Abstract

Labor productivity is affected by several factors, such as strong corporate culture and a good working environment. This study aims to identify and explain the influence of culture and work environment on employee productivity PT Bank Jabar Banten (BJB) branch of Serang. This type of research is explanatory research. Techniques of data collection using interviews, questionnaires and observation. The conclusion from this study is that there is influence between corporate culture and work environment on employee productivity. Based on the conclusion that the company needs to provide oversight of corporate culture in order to better control and there needs to be comfortable working environment for the employees so as to improve the productivity of previous work.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fluctuations of Hayfa BSC Tlogosari Semarang’s revenues. Hayfa BSC’s total revenue has not reached the target, despite demand increasing for beauty clinic. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of perceived quality and customer satisfaction on repurchase intention through brand preference on Hayfa BSC Tlogosari Semarang. This type of research is explanatory research with data collection through questionnaires and interviews. Samples in this study are 100 respondents, who are the customers of Hayfa BSC Tlogosari Semarang. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. This study uses qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis using validity test, reliability test, the coefficient of correlation test, simple and multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination test, significance test (t test) in one direction, two-stage regression, and Sobel test using Preacher's Tool. The results showed a positive effect of perceived quality and customer satisfaction on brand preference partially, and brand preference has positive influence on repurchase intention. The two stages regression analysis showed that the perceived quality and consumer satisfaction influence the brand preference, each coefficient is 0,438 and 0,287. Brand preference affect the repurchase intention with the coeffiecient of 0.709. Based on Sobel test, brand preferences act as a partial mediating variable.

Abstract

This study aims to examined the effects of country image (general country attitudes and general product attitudes) to purchase intention through brand image. The population of this research is consumers of Etude House in Semarang, while the sample is 100 consumers of Etude House with some certain prerequirements. The data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS 21.0 for windows and sobel test used to test the influence of mediation from intervening variable. The result of this study is showing that country image (general country attitudes and general product attitudes) has positive impact toward brand image, the biggest impact is own by general product attitudes. The test results of the influence of mediation, brand image can madiate the effect of general country attitudes (gca) on purchase intention significantly and can be mentioned as a partial mediation variable, and also brand image can madiate the effect of general product attitudes (gpa) on purchase intention significantly and can be mentioned as a partial mediation variable.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of product quality, price, and promotion of the product purchase decisions by first identifying, assessing and measuring consumer perceptions of the amount of sales of products in the market. Researchers conducted a study on the sale of milk powder products fitness L-Men in Semarang.This research was conducted with survey methods (interviews and questionnaires) to 100 (one hundred) of the respondents, the sampling selection technique using purposive sampling. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by using tools such as cross-table analysis, validity, reliability, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination and testing with T test curve and test curve F. The independent variable is the quality of the product, price and promotion, while the dependent variable is the purchase decision.The results showed no effect of product quality on purchasing decisions by 35.4%. The effect of price to quality is 35% of purchase decisions and influence on purchasing decisions promotion 40.6%. Taken together the quality of the product, price and promotion has the effect of 51.4%, which means that consumer perceptions of product, price and promotion proportional or positive, which if consumers assess the quality of the product, price, promotion of good will increase the sales of this product.Suggestions for the company is to continue to maintain the quality of products by regularly monitoring the quality of the basic ingredients of products, giving a discount on the purchase of products and continues to promote the increase of the personal selling product knowledge in order to provide solutions to customer needs appropriately is the key to success to improve consumer decision to buy powdered milk products of L-Men

Abstract

Shampoo is one of the treatment products that has functioned as hair treatment and has become a daily necessity for everyone. Pantene always place at top of the survey published by SWA Magazine in 2013-2015. However the percentage of brand value and brand share showed declined. This is indicated by the declined in brand value, from 2013 to 2014 is decreased by 0.6% and 2014 to 2015 decreased by 14.7%, as well brand share also declined at 2.4% from 2013 to 2014 and 2014 to 2015 decreased by 0.6%,This research is aiming at revealing the influence of brand image and celebrity endorser on Pantene brand purchasing decision of the students of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University. The type of research is explanatory research and the number of sample taken is 100 students purchasing and using Pantene shampoo. The sampling technique are accidental sampling and purposive sampling. The data collection techniques are questionnaire and observation. The data analysis technique is a correlation test data analysis, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and f test using IBM SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) program version 16.0.The result of this study are positive correlation between brand image and celebrity endorser to purchasing decision partially and simultaneously. Based on the results of the regression analysis, it is known that the variable brand image and celebrity endorser influence on purchasing decision with a coefficient of 0,480 and 0,289. Therefore it can be advised that Pantene has to strongly strengthen their brand image and carefully reevaluate their celebrity endorser in Pantene advertisement.

Abstract

Population growth will increase the demand, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Vehicle needs is increasingly rising, they want things to be practical and easy, so they choose a car to transport all members of his family or in a vehicle. In this case the customer satisfaction is a matter that greatly affect the growth and development of the car rental company. The level of customer satisfaction with a product will give a reflection of success in producing a good company, because if a product will be a failure if the product or service does not provide satisfaction for its users. One of them is to provide customer satisfaction is the application of rates, so that may affect the price of the car rental. Quality of service is also very important because the quality of service is work performed by the employees to serve the customers in order to feel comfortable             This study aims to determine the effect of variable rates and quality service to customer satisfaction on the CV. Noria Amat Rental Jaya Abadi Semarang. The population of this research is the customer's CV. Noria Jaya Abadi Rental Amat, and the sample amounted to 80 respondents. Measurement scale using a Likert scale. Analysis of the data using linear regression analysis.             From the analysis of the data can be concluded that the effect on the variable rates of 30.6 percent consumer satisfaction. Variables affect the Quality of Service Customer Satisfaction by 40 percent. Together Rates and Service Quality effect on Consumer Satisfaction by 71.1 percent.             Based on these results, it is suggested CV management. Noria Jaya Abadi Amat Rental Rates need to consider the application of the Company's need to increase the price reduction when renting for longer, should the rate increase dimbangi with benefits and facilities that will be obtained by the customers. Quality Service Employees need to be considered, especially the attitude of the driver and the office staff to be more friendly, more friendly manner, then the customer is expected to feel valued and respected, timeliness fleet still sometimes late so that potential customers waiting fleet longer, it can be detrimental to a candidate so that the potential customer to switch to another rental, use of an entertainment facility (audio, CD room, and TVs) are still rarely used because there are parts of the device is damaged to be repaired

Abstract

Human resources have a significant role in the organization activities. One of the importance of the management of human resources is to maintain the employee's performance. the organization have to pay much attention to the  working environment and enact labor discipline  around the employees that can influence their ability to carry out their duties and to make consistent performance of the employee.This study aims to determine the effect of labor discipline, the influence of the work environment, and the effect of both of labor discipline and the work environment towards employees performance at PT. Bakrie Sumatra Plantations.  This study uses explanatory research methods which is research that seeks to explain and highlight the relationship between the variables proposed in the study and explain the influence of independent variables on the dependent variable, in addition to test the hypothesis.  Research sample totaled 94 people taken using the slovin formula with probability sampling techniques. Then the data was analysed using validity, realiabilitas, regression, t and F tests. the results revealed that the majority of respondents stated that the labor discipline has a significant effect on employee performance as indicated by the t value of 47.170 > t table 1.984.  whereas the work environment have significant impact to  the performance of employees indicated by  t value 8.378> t table 1.984. furthermore both of the labor discipline and the work environment have  influence jointly on performance as indicated by F value of 1100.540 with significant value 0.000 <0.05. The biggest impact is contributed by working discipline that is equal to 98%. recommendation can be suggested that in terms of labor discipline the company should increase discipline the employee for example by applying a reducing salary for the late, provide regular training, and enact strict funishment to employees in order to bring deterent effect.  For better  work environment it is necessary to making more frequent cleaning activity. In regard to the ratio between the number of employees and the number of security personnel, the company should be able to rejuvenate for some working facilities. In regard of the employees performance the company's can provide some material and non-material motivation to spur employees to increase their  work, to increase frequency of training and to increase quality control can be done to improve the quality of employment,and  to gather employees in a gathering to further improve the relationship between the companies and employees.

Abstract

The phenomenon of many workshops that have sprung up in Semarang who demanded the owner or manager of a workshop to create a strategy in order to compete other workshops competitors. This research uses 100 respondents. The sampling technique of this research is accidental sampling and the sampled population representative are customers of Astra Daihatsu Workshop Majapahit Semarang. The analysis of the data used is the correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, t test, and F test. Based on the results of analysis show that partially the price variable contributing influence on decision service usage by 29,2%, the variable quality of service contribute to the decision influences the use of services by 68,3%. Simultaneously the price and quality of service contribute to the decision of services usage by 68.6%. The conclusion of this study case indicate that the price and quality of service partially and simultaneously influence the decision to use authorized services in PT. Astra International Tbk - Daihatsu Workshop Majapahit. Based on these results, Astra Daihatsu Workshop Majapahit Semarang already have right pricing and should be able to maintain good service quality, and need to continued research by the company and other parties to determine the effect of other variables.

Abstract

Quality of human resources is one of the key factors for business success. Based on the data obtained, the performance of the employees at PT.Sampurna Kuningan Juwana tends to decline in 2017. Through preliminary study done it can be founded the decreasing of job satisfaction related with compensation and work environment. So that, the decreasing of job satisfaction ultimately can cause decreasing in employee’s performance. This type of research is explanatory research. Sampling used is a saturated sampling technique with 55 respondents who are employees of PT. Sampurna Kuningan Juwana. The technique of collecting data used questionnaires, interviews, and literature. This study used qualitative and quantitative analysis with validity, reliability, comparison coefficients, coefficient of determination, regression analysis, t test with the help of IBM SPSS version 21.0 program and sobel analysis to find the effect of intervention variable. Based on the analysis results, it is concluded that compensation and work environment could give significant affect to job satisfaction, job satisfaction could give significant affect to employee’s performance, job satisfaction can mediate compensation performance with employee’s performance as a full intervening variable and can mediate work environment with employee’s performance as a partial intervening variable. The suggestions that given in order to improve employee’s performance are also consider to the employee's assessment of the head expenditure policy not only depending on the working period but also on the work ability of the employee, as well as the determination of the amount of compensation for individual performance. To improve a good work environment by maintaining existing facilities, and need intensive training to improve employee competencies so that it will improve employee job satisfaction which ultimately improves employee performance.

Abstract

Customer loyalty to the brand is a very important concept, especially on condition that the level of competition is very tight with low growth. In such conditions on brand loyalty is needed so that the company can survive. There are four variables that will be used as independent variables in this study, namely, the predictability of the brand, the brand competence, confidence in the company, and brand preferences.This study was conducted to determine the effect of predictability brand, brand competence, confidence in the company, and brand preferences on purchasing decisions and customer loyalty Mitsubishi truck. In this study using sampling techniques respondent random sampling, the number of respondents as many as 92 respondents. Analysis of the data used is path analysis.The results showed that the predictability of the brand, the brand competence, confidence in the company, and brand preferences partially and simultaneously has significant influence on purchasing decisions and loyalty. Based on path analysis, purchasing decision is a mediating variable on customer loyalty. Suggestions for the company is better able to improve the quality of Mitsubishi products, advantages and its uniqueness, able to educate their customers and increase the safety equipment in the truck.
