Abstract

The initial emergence of the internet in Indonesia in the 1990s was known as Paguyuban Network (Network community). It is known as the Paguyuban Network because at this time its users had intimate relationship, high togetherness and great mutual cooperation. The users did these actions in order to carry out trade and communication among students who were abroad. Ipteknek had an important role in Indonesia as Ipteknek was the first internet network service provider to have a new revolution, then encouragen the emergence of other ISPs in Indonesia. Various internet service providers or ISPs in Indonesia include Biznet Home Internet, First Media, Indihome, Indosat Oorodeoo GIG, MNC Play Media, MyRepublic, Oxygen.Id home. This study analyzes the influence of large networks quality, service quality, information quality, security and privacy of internet service providers on the customer satisfaction and repurchase-intention. The populations used in this study were customers who have used internet services in Semarang. The sample used was 215 respondents. The method of sample collection uses a purposive sampling technique. Data collection methods used were questionnaires. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis with AMOS 24.0 analysis tools. The results of this study indicate service quality, information quality, security and privacy are positive and significant for customer satisfaction. Network quality is not positive for customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction has positive and significant influence to repurchase intention.

Abstract

The development of the internet in the world is getting wider so that many companies are trying to create products and services to meet people's wants and needs. Companies must create new marketing strategies in order to survive and attract larger consumers. This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, perceived value, and perceived usefulness on continuance intention with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population in this study were users of the OVO digital wallet (e-Wallet) who had used OVO to make purchase transactions. The number of samples used were 160 respondents and were selected by purposive sampling and data collection methods through questionnaires. The analytical tool used in this research is the AMOS program.The results of this study indicate that service quality, perceived value, and perceived usefulness have a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Furthermore, customer satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on continuance intention. The process that has the most influence on increasing continuance intention on OVO digital wallets (e-Wallets) is an increase in service quality that affects customer satisfaction as a determinant of success in increasing continuance intention.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze the effect of financial pressure, size, leverage, operating cash flow, audit quality, ownership concentration, and growth as independent variables on earnings management as the dependent variable, and the global financial crisis as a moderating variable. This paper uses Discretionary Accruals as a proxy for earnings management which is calculated using a modified Jones model. The data selection method used was purposive sampling. The total sample used was 50 manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2007-2017. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis method. Our results showed that financial distress, leverage, operating cash flow, ownership concentration had a significant negative effect on earnings management. Therefore, audit quality and growth have a significant positive effect on earnings management, while size has no significant effect on earnings management, and the global financial crisis does not moderate the relationship between financial distress and size on earnings management.

Abstract

The problem that occurs is a decrease in market share over the past four years and a decline in sales of Kawasaki Ninja 250 motorcycles indicates a decrease in the results of the decision to purchase a Kawasaki Ninja 250 motorcycle. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of price perceptions, quality perceptions and promotions on Kawasaki Ninja purchasing decisions 250. The population selected in this study were all Diponegoro University students. The number of samples used in this study were 73 Diponegoro University students who were still active and had purchased Kawasaki Ninja 250 motorcycles. The sampling technique in this study was the purposive sampling method. Data collection method is to use a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression. Based on research, price perceptions, quality perceptions and promotions have a positive effect on purchasing decisions of the Kawasaki Ninja 250. Variations in employee performance can be explained by independent variables namely price perception, quality perception and promotion by 62.7%.

Abstract

This purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of promotion, website quality, and service quality on loyalty to E-commerce customers with perceived value as an intervening variable. The population used in this study is Bukalapak users in Semarang City. The number of samples used in this study were 120 respondents. The data collection method used is through a questionnaire. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques with the AMOS version 21.0 program.The results showed that promotion, website quality, and service quality had a positive and significant effect on perceived value. Other results also show that perceived value has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse and investigate the relationship of Free Cash Flow, Growth, Market to Book Value, Profitability, Leverage to Dividend Payout Ratio. Study conducted in manufacturing industries which has listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2016 until 2018. Population used in this research is manufacturing industries which has listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2016 until 2018. The sampling method that been used in this study is purposive sampling, and acquired result 51 samples of manufacturing companies that been tested. Method that been used in this study is multiple linear regression. The result of this study shows Market to Book Value dan Return on Assets variables has significantly positive relationship to Dividend Payout Ratio. Growth Sales has significantly negative relationship to Dividend Payout Ratio. Free Cash Flow and Debt to Equity Ratio variables has positive relationship but insignificant to Dividend Payout Ratio.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived organizational support on employee performance through employee engagement and proactive work behavior as mediators in one of the public companies in Semarang, namely PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IV Semarang. This study uses data sources from primary data through the distribution of research questionnaires, and secondary data through journals, books, and relevant data obtained from the company. The samples of this reasearch is employees of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop IV Semarang. The method used in this research is purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used in this study is Partial Least Square with Smart PLS 3.2.9 application to find out the path coefficient, and direct or indirect effects of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. This results of this study show how perceived organizational support has a positive effect on employee performance, employee engagement has a positive effect on employee performance, proactive work behavior has a positive effect on employee performance. This study also shows that the influence of employee engagement and proactive work behavior variables as mediators between perceived organizational support on employee performance where proactive work behavior has the bigger role as the intervening.

Abstract

Banks, especially Islamic banks, have a very important role in the wheels of economic turnover in Indonesia, the majority of which are Muslim. Bank as an intermediary institution channeling funds from excess parties to those in need. The development of Islamic banks in Indonesia is certainly inseparable from several factors that affect the improvement in performance. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of income diversification (ID), asset diversification (AD), bank fficiency (EFF), equity to assets (ETA) and non-performing financing (NPF) on return on assets (ROA) of Islamic banks. The population used as a sample in this study is Islamic commercial banks whose financial statements have been published to Bank Indonesia for the period 2014 to 2018. Sampling uses purposive sampling or intentional sampling for specific purposes. The data of this study uses secondary data derived from the websites of each bank and Bank Indonesia. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that asset diversification (AD), equity to assets (ETA) have a significant positive effect and bank fficiency (EFF) have a significant negative effect on return on assets (ROA). While variable income diversification (ID) and non-performing financing (NPF) have no effect at all on the variable return on assets (ROA).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence stock returns of the property sector in the Indonesia stock exchange period 2016-2019. The population used in this study is 23 companies in the real estate property sector. The sample chosen uses a purposive sampling technique on secondary data obtained from the IDX website and the official website of Bank Indonesia. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis using SPSS version 24. The results obtained indicate that only the interest rate and exchange rate variables have a significant effect on the stock returns of property sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2019. Furthermore, the variable studied only affects the stock returns of the property sector in the Indonesian stock exchange in 2016- 2019 by 6.1%. This proves that the anomalous phenomenon occurs in the data of property and real estate companies in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline and work motivation on employee performance with job satisfaction as a moderating variable. This research consists of two independent variables, one dependent variable, and one moderating variable. The independent variables in this study are work discipline and work motivation. The dependent variable in this study is employee performance. The moderating variable in this study is job satisfaction. The population in this study were all employees of the CV Batik Wahyu Kencana company in Pekalongan City. The study used a population of 85 respondents. The data collection technique is done by using a questionnaire. Analysis of research data using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results of this study indicate that work discipline on employee performance has a positive and significant effect. Work motivation on employee performance has a positive and significant effect, then job satisfaction can moderate work discipline which has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction can also moderate work motivation which has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
