Abstract

The main problem that occurs in Bank BRI KCP Jakenan Pati still long waiting time for the customer for the system enters the service queue to get their turn. This study aims to determine the waiting time on average per customer, the number of tellers are optimized so that bank customers are not the queue is too long, timeliness of service queuing model that is being implemented at Bank BRI KCP Jakenan Pati with the standard of service Bank of time and a model of a queuing system other can reduce customer wait time in getting services to improve the effectiveness of service time. The object of this study is that the banking company Bank BRI KCP Jakenan Pati. The population used in this study is the total number of customer arrival in January 2016 came at 8: 00-14: 00 every Monday, Tuesday and Friday in one month so that the data can be expected to be taken within 12 working days. Methods of data analysis using Multi-Channel Single Phase. Based on the research results, in the crowded conditions of the average waiting time in the queue was 59 minutes. Under normal conditions the average waiting time in the queue is 6 minutes. In calm conditions the average waiting time in the queue is 1 minute 30 seconds. Modeling queuing system that can optimize teller level of usability and minimize customer wait time is by adding a second teller to teller during crowded conditions and normal and remained at 1 teller during calm conditions. So that the queuing system at Bank BRI KCP Jakenan Pati changed from using the queuing system Single-Channel Single Phase into a queuing system Multi-Channel Single Phase to increase the number of servers / teller.

Abstract

Salesperson is one of the important elements that contribute greatly to the company's profits. In addition, the salesperson is a party that deals directly with consumers so that it can influence the purchase decision. Therefore it is often referred to as the spearhead of the company. The high or low performance of salespeople is caused by various factors. One of the things that affect is the orientation of learning from self-salespeople. This study aims to analyze the effect of learning orientation on the performance of salespeople. Smart work, selling skills, and adaptive sales are used as intervening variables. The object of this research is the salespeople from Japanese motorcycles in Magelang. The sampling technique is purposive sampling, where the sample used is the salesman from the Japanese motorcycle that has been working for at least 6 months. Analytical technique using Structural Equation Model (SEM) - AMOS. Overall the results of this study showed that the orientation of learning has a positive effect on smart working, selling ability, and adaptive selling, smart working has a positive effect on the salesperson's performance, adaptive selling have a positive effect on salesperson performance, and selling ability negatively and insignificant to performance of salespeople.

Abstract

The development of Indonesia aitlines grow rapidly. With low-cost base airline, there are still a lot of people who want to use airlines. Lion Air as low-cost airline market leader, still encounter a service failure such as delay. This study aims to analyzes the service recovery for service failure.            This study analyzes the dimension of service recovery. Distributive justice, procedural justice, and interactional justice the effect to consumen satisfication and repurchase intention. The study was conducted on 120 respondents who qualified to provide for the completed questionnaires.            The result of this study show that all of independent dimensions have positive effect on dependent dimensions. Distributive justice have the strongest effect on consumen satisfaction and repurchase intention. The other variable have positive effect but not significant.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyse the effects of the product quality, the service quality, and the brand image towards consumers’ repurchase intention of Nike running shoes by using customer’s satisfaction as this study’s mediator variable (intervening) of Nike running consumers in Semarang. The quality of Nike running shoes is what attracts the consumers to repurchase another Nike shoes as well as what satisfies them. The strategy used by Nike to maintain its brand image is to do innovations by developing design and material to create an excellent running shoes product. A company which is able to maintain its service quality is of course able to maintain its consumers by constantly making them satisfied by its products. The sample of this study is taken using non probability sampling, which are the people who have previously bought Nike running shoes in Semarang. Data are collected of 150 Nike running shoes consumers with questionnaire technique. This study uses maximum likelihood as an analysis method by using Amos program version 22.0. The analysis results show that the product quality, the service quality, and the brand image have positive and significant impacts on consumers’ satisfaction. The product quality and the service quality have negative and insignificant impacts on consumers’ repurchase intention. The brand image has positive and significant impacts on consumers’ repurchase intention. While the brand image has negative and insignificant impacts on consumers’ repurchase intention.

Abstract

Firm Value is one of the factors are considered by investors for making investment decisions. Research of the factors that affect the firm value still shows the  differences in researchoutcomes. Also based on the data available, there are differences regarding the direction of the relationship factors that influence the firm value. Therefore, it still needs to be done further research on the factors that affect the firm value. This study examined the effect of Total AssetTurnover (TATO), Sales growth (SG), Net Profit Margin (NPM) on Return on Assets (ROA) and the influence of Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Return on Assets (ROA), Net Profit Margin (NPM)of the Price Book Value (PBV) in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia StockExchange (BEI) in the period from 2008 to 2011.The sample used in this study consisted of 71 manufacturing companies listed on theIndonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period from 2008 to 2011. Sampling was done by purposive sampling method. Data obtained from the Indonesian Capitan Market Directory (ICMD) and the Annual Report of the company. The analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis and Path Analysis with the help of SEM.The results showed that the Total Asset Turnover (TATO) significant positive effect on return on assets (ROA) and Price Book Value (PBV .Based on Path Analysis Total Asset Turnover(TATO) indirectly influence the Price Book Value (PBV) through the Return on Assets (ROA).Sales growth (SG)have no significant negative effect on Return on Assets (ROA). Net Profit Margin(NPM) a positive effect on return on assets (ROA) and  negative effect on Price Book Value (PBV).Based on Path analysis Net Profit Margin (NPM) indirectly influence the Price Book Value trough the Return on Asset (ROA)

Abstract

The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of advertising and product design on purchasing decisions using brand image as an intervening variable. Using ad marketing and product design strategies, by looking at the condition of the cosmetics industry market in Indonesia which is increasing quite large, to the decline in sales spent by Sariayu cosmetics brands, as well as looking at sales data and Top Brand Index data in recent years.The population of the study was all consumers who had ever done to use Sariayu products. The samples in this study were 102 respondents. The method of collecting data through questionnaires directly with purposive sampling method. The provisions used are consumers who have purchased products more than once, at least 17 years old, and domiciled in Semarang. This research uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis technique using AMOS 24.0 analysis tool.The result show that the effect of advertising has a positive and significant effect on brand image, product design has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, the influence of advertising has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, and product design has a positive effect and significant towards purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Mutual funds are one alternative solution profitable investment for the investor. Beneficial because mutual funds managed by the investment manager to manage the fund in accordance with its investment objectives and does not require large capital. Investor needs to choose mutual funds in accordance with their capabilities and investment objectives because it will affect the return earned. This study was conducted to determine the effect of Past Performance, Fund Size, Age Fund, Expense Ratio, and Cash Flow of the Fund Mutual Fund Performance.The data used in this study are SBI, financial reports, prospectuses, and data NAV of 30 conventional mutual funds listed on the Stock Exchange 2012-2014. The sample was divided in accordance with the investment objectives of 10 Equity Funds, 10 Fixed Income Fund, and 10 Money Market Fund. This research using the Multiple Linear Regression.The test results showed that, overall, Past Performance, Fund Age, Expense Ratio, and Cash Flow Fund have a significant effect on the mutual fund performance, while the Fund Size do not affect the Mutual Fund Performance. The test results of the Equity Fund showed that Past Performance and Cash Flow have a significant effect on the Mutual Fund Performance, while the other variable  has no effect on the Mutual Fund Performance. The test results of the Fixed Income Fund showed that Fund Cash Flow have a significant effect on the Mutual Fund performance, while other variables have no effect on the Mutual Fund Performance. The test results of the Money Market Fund  showed that Past Performance have a significant of the Mutual Fund performance, while other variables have no effect on the Mutual Fund Performance.

Abstract

The study examines the influence of Intellectual Capital elements named Human Capital, Structural Capital, Relational Capital, and Capital Employed Efficiency to Bussiness Performance with Innovation Capability and Capital Employed Efficiency as intervening variables. There are 70’s owners and managers of culinary sector SMEs in Semarang City that selected to become object for this research.This study representing an empirical test wich using random sampling techniques on data collection.. The data analyze is done by using Stuctural Equation Modelling ( SEM) premises program VisualPLS (Partial Least Square).Hypothesis testing results show that of the six hypotheses that have been proposed there are five acceptable hypothesis. The accepted hypothesis are hypothesis 1 (there is significant influence between Structural Capital to Innovation Capability) hypothesis 2 (there is significant influence between Structural Capital to Business Performace), hypothesis 3 (there is significant influence between Huma Capital to Bussiness Performance), Hypothesis 4 (there is significant influence between Relational Capital to Business Performance) hypothesis 5 (there is significant influence between Innovation Capability to Business Performace).  Furthermore, there is one rejected hypothesis or no significant influence, the hypothesis is hypothesis 6 (there is no significant influence between Capital Employed Efficiency to Bussiness Performance).

Abstract

This study was conducted at a gymnasium that called Kharisma, which is located in Banyumanik, Semarang. Existing data on the gymnasium Kharisma shows a decreasing number of members in 2013-1014. This study aims to determine whether experiential marketing and service quality on customer satisfaction influece repurchase intention.The sample used in this research is a 150 member of gymnasium Kharisma. Data analysis methods used in this study is quantitative method and analyzed using multiple linear regressions.The results of the research shows that experiential marketing  and service quality have  a  positive  impact  to  customer  satisfaction with  the  regression  coefficient  Y1= 0,659X1  +  0,201X2.  While customer  satisfaction  is  also  has  a  positive  impact  to repurchase intention on the value of the regression coefficient Y2 = 0,957Y1

Abstract

This Research aimed to analyze the influence of Return on Equity, Return on Assets, Earnings Per Share, Dividend Per Share, Degree Of Operating Leverage and Degree Of Financial Leverage to Market Value Added. Case study on manufacture company in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2011- 2014 Research population used manufacture company in Indonesia Stock Exchange during period 2011-2014. By using purposive sampling method obtained a sample of 19 companies. Company data used in this study was obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory for 2010-2014 and www.idx.com. The analysis technique used is Ordinary Least Squares Regression (OLS). The results showed only a Dividend Per Share (DPS) which has positive and significant against Market Value Added, while ROE, ROA, EPS, DOL, and DFL does not affect the Market Value Added.
