Tujuan penerbitan jurnal ini adalah untuk mendiseminasikan pemikiran konseptual serta gagasan-gagasan inovatif yang berkembang dalam bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Ikrar: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat berfungsi sebagai wadah untuk mengeksplorasi, mendokumentasikan, dan mempublikasikan berbagai hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan, sehingga dapat menjadi sumber pengetahuan yang kredibel sekaligus rujukan bagi wilayah atau institusi lain yang memerlukan inspirasi maupun solusi dalam menghadapi beragam permasalahan masyarakat.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase legal awareness among the community in Mansinam Village through an integrated legal education model. The main issues identified include the high risk of bullying in schools, a lack of understanding of the constitutional rights of women and children, and administrative barriers to residency and social security. The implementation method uses a participatory approach that includes preparation, socialisation, assistance, and evaluation. The results of the activity show an increase in the understanding of primary school (SD) and junior high school (SMP) students regarding the legal aspects of bullying and national values. In addition, the community gained direct access to information on the services provided by the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) and the Social Security Administration Agency for Health (BPJS) for the fulfilment of civil rights. The conclusion of this activity is that integrated legal education is effective in strengthening the protection of vulnerable groups and minimising legal ignorance in the archipelago.

Abstract

Daspetah Village, as the oldest and largest village in Ujanmas Subdistrict, Kepahiang Regency, has high social dynamics due to its large and heterogeneous population. The high level of social and economic activity among the community has led to various conflicts and violations of the law, such as fights, theft, and violence. Until now, conflicts have been resolved through deliberation, the police, or the courts, which often result in wasted time and money. The enactment of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code, which recognizes customary law as living law, opens up opportunities for the optimization of dispute resolution through non-litigation mechanisms based on customary law. This community service activity aims to establish and strengthen the Kutei Village Customary Institution as an institution for conflict resolution based on restorative justice. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) through the stages of preparation, socialization, assistance, and evaluation, involving the village government, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and the community. The results of the activity show the formation of the Kutei Desa Customary Institution, which has legal standing based on Article 18B paragraph (2) of the 1945 Constitution, Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages, and Kepahiang Regency Regulation Number 11 of 2016 concerning Rejang Kepahiang Customary Law. This institution has the authority to resolve customary disputes and minor violations through deliberation, mediation, and the imposition of customary sanctions using a restorative justice approach. The existence of the Kutei Desa Customary Institution has proven to have the support of the community and contributes to the resolution of conflicts in a more effective and fair manner, while preserving local wisdom values. Strengthening the capacity of customary leaders and sustainable mediation strategies are recommended to ensure the optimization of the role of customary institutions in a transparent and fair village legal system.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented to strengthen the understanding of village officials in Karangan Village regarding the risks of abuse of authority in managing Village Own-Source Revenue (PADes) and its implications for corruption offenses. Although Karangan Village possesses significant revenue potential, its administrative practices and transparency mechanisms remain inadequate. This program aims to provide legal education, technical assistance, and a risk-mapping framework to support accountable PADes management. The methods used include legal counseling, focus group discussions (FGDs), administrative observation, and assistance in preparing supporting documents. The results show increased awareness among village officials regarding asset utilization procedures, financial recording mechanisms, and the legal elements of abuse of authority under Article 3 of the Anti-Corruption Law. In addition, the program successfully identified structural vulnerabilities in PADes management that require follow-up through improved administrative practices and strengthened oversight. This community service initiative is expected to contribute to enhancing accountability and preventing corruption at the village level.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to strengthen the partnership between labor unions and employers in creating a productive work environment at PT Pinago Utama Tbk. Harmonious industrial relations play a crucial role in supporting work productivity, organizational stability, and employee welfare. However, differences in understanding regarding the roles of each party, communication mechanisms, and the importance of social dialogue in resolving labor-related issues remain evident. The program was conducted through legal education, case-based learning, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), bipartite dialogue simulations, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The materials covered harmonious industrial relations, the roles of labor unions and employers, communication and social dialogue, and strategies for building productive partnerships. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of industrial relations, stakeholder roles, communication and social dialogue, and conflict resolution through deliberation. In addition to enhancing knowledge, the program also strengthened communication, trust, and cooperation between labor unions and employers. Therefore, this program contributed to the development of a productive, harmonious, and sustainable work environment at PT Pinago Utama Tbk.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance public legal awareness regarding safe and legally certain land transactions in Pulau Harapan Village, Banyuasin District. Limited public understanding of lawful land sale procedures, the importance of land certificates, and the registration process for the transfer of land rights remains one of the factors contributing to land disputes. The program was conducted through legal education and counseling, case-based learning, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), land transaction simulations, and evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests. The materials covered land rights and their legal status, lawful land sale procedures, the role of Land Deed Officials (PPAT), the importance of land certificates, and strategies for preventing land disputes. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of all measured aspects, particularly regarding lawful land transaction procedures, the importance of legal land documents, and land dispute prevention. In addition to improving legal knowledge, the program also increased public awareness of the importance of conducting land transactions in accordance with applicable laws to obtain legal protection and certainty. This program is expected to reduce the potential for land disputes and support orderly land administration in Pulau Harapan Village, Banyuasin District.
